TikTok Trends
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
➪the one where drew is a little clueless in regards to your love for tiktok, and even more confused every time he finds himself thrown into another trend.
Warnings: fluff, swearing, drew being confused for 90% of this, mentions of smut, size difference, slightly younger reader (3 year age gap), there was going to be smut, but i am saving it for another fic.
Word Count: 3.2k
Do not repost this anywhere, reblogs are fine ♡
Drew was laying on the king sized bed he shared with you, his sweatpant covered legs crossed as he lounged back on both his pillows and one of yours. His phone was in one of his hands, his thumb scrolling through the latest game results he missed last night when he was too busy fucking you into this very bed.
He was oblivious to the way you were rummaging around in the dresser, though his eyes would occasionally flicker over to you as he scrolled. Tonight was date night, and he knew you would take a lot longer to get ready than he would, so he was staying in his sweats and hoodie until you were ready since he’d just throw something on and then be out the door within the same minute. You were being awfully quiet, and Drew was also oblivious to the way you had propped your phone up behind a picture frame, just out of view.
Drew’s free hand ran through his hair, his recent haircut making his scalp feel a little itchy, but he wasn’t complaining, because this haircut was what had you begging him to fuck you every night this week, so clearly it was working for you.
“Hey, babe,” he murmured, not looking up from his phone. “Where do you want to go tonight? Anywhere you want, I don’t care, I just want to know if I should call in beforehand.”
You bit your lip as you adjusted your phone, your eyes shining with mischief as you moved away from the dresser. “I’m not sure,” you answered as you walked into the closet and grabbed the dark blue dress you were planning on wearing tonight. “Haven’t really thought about it.”
You had to hide your smile as you walked back into the bedroom and set the dress down on the bed next to Drew’s legs, and you had to ignore just how sexy he looked right now as you glanced over at your phone.
Drew had never been one to be very active on social media in the two years you’ve been with him, so you knew for a fact that he would have no clue what you were about to spring on him.
Reaching for the hem of your shirt, you bunched the material in your fingers before pausing, “Hey, baby,” you laughed, poking his knee as you swayed a bit on your feet. When Drew just let out a grunt, you continued, “Can you leave for a few minutes while I get dressed? I’ll be quick.”
You watched as Drew’s eyes flickered all over his phone’s screen before he hummed, moving to sit up. Just as his legs swung over the side of the bed, he seemed to have finally fully processed your words, because his eyes narrowed before he looked over at you. “Wait, what?”
A laugh threatened to escape your mouth, but you managed to compose yourself before he could realize this was yet another trend he was currently being forced into. “Can you, like, get out for a sec? I need to get ready for tonight,” you asked again, gesturing to your shirt and sweats.
One of his brows raised and he glanced down at your current outfit before looking over at your dress. “Uh, why?” he asked, sounding so genuinely confused, you almost cackled. “We live together, baby. I’ve seen you naked, like…a million times now.”
You covered your mouth and crossed your arm over your chest as you tried to keep this going for as long as you could. “Just…please?”
Drew’s brows furrowed as he locked then set his phone down on the bed beside him, his fingers brushing against your thigh. “What’s wrong?” he asked quietly, reaching for your hand. His voice was so deep but so sweet right now, you felt yourself caving in already. “Tell me, baby.”
“It’s nothing,” you say, but your voice sounded unconvincing even to you. “I just don’t want you in here while I get changed.”
Drew narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms as he leaned back against the pillows once again, clearly making no move to get up and leave. “Babe, come on,” he mumbled, giving you a pointed look as you tried to keep up the act for a little longer, but he was the actor, not you. “We’ve lived together for half a year now. I’ve seen you take off clothes in front of me more times than I can count. What’s so different now?”
You had a sneaking suspicion that he was catching on, and you knew the act was pretty much up. Still, you tried to go for a little longer, “There’s no difference…” you trailed off, then saw the look of realization flash in his pretty blue eyes.
“Oh, I get it,” he muttered, a smirk tugging at his mouth as he looked up at you. “This is another TikTok thing, isn’t it?”
You furrowed your brows and shook your head, but he had caught you. “No,”
Drew grunted and nodded his head, “Uh huh, where’s your phone?” he asked, glancing around the bedroom as you tried to think of a way to salvage your prank.
“It’s not a TikTok thing-”
“Come on, where is it?” he cut you off, his tone light and relieved as he now knew that nothing was wrong and this was just him falling for another trend going around on an app he didn’t even have installed.
With a huff, you nodded towards the dresser, and Drew shifted a bit so he could see your well-hidden phone behind the picture frame.
“I fucking knew it,” he laughed, rubbing his hands over his face as he leaned back again. “Why do I keep falling for these things?”
“Because you’re old and refuse to use social media,” you mumbled, reaching for your phone and ending the video.
He scoffed from behind you, reaching over to wrap his hand around one of your thighs. “I’m only three years older than you, brat,” he muttered, pulling you towards him. “I’m not nearly old enough for you to call me that.”
“Three and a half,” you hummed, your attention quickly slipping from your phone as you let him turn you around and pull you to stand in between his legs. Your free hand caressed his jaw, his stubble pricking your fingertips as you gazed down at him, “Can’t forget the half.”
Drew hummed, leaning in to press his face against the front of your shirt. “Mm, right,” he rasped, leaning back on the bed and pulling you with him so you are straddling his waist. “Can’t forget the half.”
You dropped your phone onto the bed next to his, both devices quickly being forgotten about as you braced your hands flat on the sheets on either side of his head, your lips finding his in a deep kiss that quickly turned into something a lot more heated.
-
“You’re not doing it right,” you whined, pushing your boyfriend away from you as you walked towards your phone to restart the recording.
After finding a trend that would actually involve Drew participating in it, you decided to give him a break from all the prank trends you pull on him and asked if he wanted to try this couple trend you saw all over your for you page. Surprisingly enough, he agreed to. You assumed he was probably tired of falling for the pranks all the time, so this way he could be fully aware of what was happening.
With that being said, even though he was an amazing actor, he fucking sucked at following directions.
“What do you mean I’m not doing it right?” he asked, holding his arms out as he watched you set your phone back up against the TV stand. “I’m picking you up, am I not? Is that not what I’m supposed to do here?”
You rolled your eyes and bit back a laugh as you stood back up straight and moved towards him. “No, you’re supposed to flip me upside down,” you said, “Did you even watch the video I sent you?”
“I watch all the videos you send me,” he mumbled, glancing over at your phone before stepping closer to you. “Just tell me what to do, okay?”
You grinned and moved to stand in front of him, and you reached behind you to take Drew’s wrists in your hands. “Just hold me here,” you instructed, placing his big hands on your hips as you both faced the camera. “Then lift me and turn me upside down.”
“That’s it?” he asked, giving your hips a teasing squeeze as he dipped his head down and pressed a firm kiss to your temple. “What if I drop you?”
You look over your shoulder at him and raise your brow, “Well, don’t,”
Drew laughed, the deep sound rumbling against your back as you looked at your phone. “Alright, ready?” he asked, and you nodded. Drew bent his knees slightly, ensuring he had a good grip on you, before he straightened back up again and easily lifted you off the ground.
That was the easy part though, but after a few seconds, he managed to turn you upside down so your legs were by his shoulders and your head was by his knees. “Yay, baby!” you squealed, holding onto his arms tightly as he dangled you above the floor.
Drew let out another deep laugh as he held you securely in place, his arms wrapped protectively around your waist. “Is this it?”
“Yes,” you answer, helplessly swaying in his hold as you look at your phone from your upside down angle. “I hope it turned out well. I don’t want to do this again.”
“Why not?” Drew asked, locking his arms around your thighs as he swayed you even more, making another quiet squeal leave your lips. “Now that I know what to do, this is easy.”
Your grip tightened on his arms as you held on for dear life, a soft whine escaping your mouth. “Drew,”
He laughed and stilled before managing to guide your legs down until you were upright again. “Alright,” he grinned, steadying you with his hands on your waist. “Are we good?”
You nodded and leaned into his touch for a few seconds before moving away to grab your phone. After ending the video, you clicked on it to make sure it came out okay, and as you did so, Drew came up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist.
“How’d it turn out?” he murmured, resting his chin on your shoulder as he glanced down at your phone as well.
“Good,” you answered, playing the video and watching with a dumb smile on your face as your boyfriend effortlessly picked you up and managed to do the trend rather successfully. Turning your head, you pressed a quick kiss to his chin, “Thank you.”
Drew hummed, kissing you properly as his hands splayed across your belly. “‘Course,” he mumbled, kissing you again before looking back down at your phone. “You look so small, baby. Send that to me.”
You grinned and nodded as he stepped away from you and towards the doorway. “You could see it on my TikTok if you actually had the app,” you pointed out as you sat down on the couch.
“Not happening,” he called over his shoulder before giving you a teasing smirk and leaving the room.
As you watched the video again and matched it up with the song it would go with, you bit down on your lip, because Drew looked really hot in it, and it was extremely obvious how fit and strong he is since he lifted you up with ease.
You could only imagine all the comments you’d get, and all of them would be girls thirsting over your boyfriend.
-
The ‘calling your boyfriend friend names’ prank was all that was currently on your for you page on your TikTok, and you knew after watching the first one that you were going to do it to Drew.
Your poor, unsuspecting boy who was really never safe as long as you had access to the app, or any app for that matter, because he was just too easy.
Drew was laying back on the bed, one arm propped behind his head as he browsed through various movies on Netflix, his gaze fixated on the TV that was mounted on the wall above the dresser.
He looked so focused as he tried to find something to watch, and you knew he was looking for something that you would like since you and he had very different tastes when it came to movies. You almost felt bad for what you were about to do.
Almost.
“Dude, just pick a movie already,” you laughed from your spot on your side of the bed, discreetly angling your phone to capture his entire upper body without making it look obvious.
Drew’s head turned in your direction, one of his brows raising as his thumb paused on the remote. “I’m trying to,” he muttered, squinting his eyes at you, “Dude.”
You held in your snort and shook your head, looking back up at the TV. “I don’t care what we watch, man,” you mumbled and felt him shift next to you, but you kept your eyes locked on the screen. “Just pick something.”
The remote was set down on the bed between your body and his, and when you glanced up at him, he was softly glaring at you, “I will, once you call me by my actual name instead of dude or man,”
You actually laughed, but this one fit in well, “Okay, Drew,”
“You know that’s not what I meant,” he groaned, moving towards you and dropping his head to your chest. He presses his face against your cleavage as you reach over and prop your phone up on the nightstand. “Call me what you always call me.”
You grinned as you draped your arms around his shoulders. “Aw, buddy,”
Drew’s head had never snapped up faster than it did when you said that. “Why are you calling me that?” he asked, placing his hands flat against the bed on either side of your hips as he pushed himself back up so he was kneeling beside your still reclined form. “Baby, what’s going on?”
You pressed your lips together as you reached up and cradled his pretty face in your hands. “Nothing,” you answered, stroking his cheeks with your thumbs.
Drew gave you a skeptical look before he leaned down and pressed a kiss to your lips. His big hands found your hips as he deepened it, his tongue brushing against yours, and you returned his kiss like you always do. “Are you sure?” he murmured against your mouth, and you knew your knees would’ve buckled if you were standing up from how deep and sexy his voice is.
But you couldn’t think about that right now, and you realized you would have to edit that intense kiss out of the video so TikTok didn’t flag you, which would suck. “I’m sure,” you confirmed, then fucked with him further, “Everything’s all good, pal.”
Drew gave you a look of disbelief as he pulled away and sat back on his knees again. “Pal? Did you seriously just call me pal?” he gaped at you, his brows drawn together in confusion and something that looked a lot like betrayal. “Babe, what the fuck did I do? I know you’re mad at me, you keep calling me all these random names. Tell me what I did.”
You laughed and shook your head, pushing yourself up so you were sitting in front of him. “You didn’t do anything, Drew,” you assured him, but could tell that your words had very little effect on him. “I promise.”
His eyes narrowed as he glared at you, moving back to his original spot on his side of the bed. “Then stop calling me dude or pal,” he muttered, picking the remote back up and lifting his arm so you could cuddle against his side.
You actually did snort this time as you crawled over to him, “Okay, bro,” you mumbled as you slid under his arm, but as soon as the name left your lips, Drew was standing up from the bed and looking down at you with his hands on his hips.
“Bro? Bro?” he echoed, “No, something is definitely wrong here. What is happening right now, Y/n? Are you breaking up with me or something?”
You let out a loud laugh as you rolled onto your side. “No,” you answered, shaking your head as you looked up at him. “I’m not breaking up with you, Drew. Why would I do that?”
He sounded a bit desperate now as he braced one knee on the edge of the bed and asked, “Then why are you calling me dude and bro and pal? You’ve never called me those names before,” he rambled, “That’s what you call a friend, baby, not your boyfriend.”
“I know,” you said, propping yourself up on your elbows as you looked up at him, and after getting another look at his handsome, yet so obviously confused face, you caved. “That’s what the prank is, babe. I call you names I’d call a friend.”
Drew’s brows furrowed, then he was looking around the bed for your phone, and when he glanced at the nightstand, he let out a loud groan. “Oh for fucks sake,” he grunted, rubbing his hands over his face as you laughed and moved to retrieve your phone. “I thought we were breaking up or something. Why do I keep falling for this shit?”
You shrugged, “I don’t know. Guys are just so easy,” you answered, “And unless you cheat on me or something, I’m never breaking up with you.”
Drew dropped his hands to his sides as he joined you back on the bed. “And I’m never cheating on you,” he rasped, straddling your thighs as he placed his hands on your waist. “But how many more times are you going to do this to me? This one was fucked up.”
You laughed as you ended the recording, then gasped when you felt how hot his skin was. “Drew,” you say with wide eyes, “You’re, like…sweating.”
“I know I am,” he said, his fingers pushing up your shirt as his hands ran along the skin of your stomach. “I told you, I thought you were breaking up with me. I was panicking.”
You smiled up at him, letting him take your phone from you and toss it onto the end of the bed. “I would never,” you promised, and Drew wrapped his fingers around your wrists, guiding your hands up to rest on his chest as he gazed down at you with an intense stare.
“Good,” he murmured, leaning down to brush his lips against yours, and it was clear that the hunt for a movie to watch was now postponed. His eyes were even darker when he pulled away, his nose bumping gently against yours. “I love you.”
You whimpered quietly as you slid your hands up into his hair. “I love you too,”
Then he was pressing himself against you completely, and soon enough, you were sweating too.

WORD COUNT: 877

CONTENT WARNING: kisses, lots of kisses, soft!rafe cameron
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the first time
“rafe, don’t even think about it,” you warned, holding up a hand to stop him in his tracks. you were perched at your vanity, delicately putting the final touches on your lip gloss.
rafe, leaning against the doorframe, tilted his head with a grin. “think about what?” he asked, though his eyes were already on your lips.
you gave him a pointed look. “you know what. i just finished, and if you kiss me, you’ll mess it all up.”
he took a slow step forward, then another, ignoring your protests as he stopped just behind your chair. “you look so pretty,” he murmured, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear.
“rafe.”
“just one,” he said softly, leaning down to press a quick kiss to your lips.
you pulled back, huffing as you turned to inspect the damage in the mirror. “it’s sticky now! you never listen.”
he laughed, wrapping his arms around your shoulders and resting his chin on your head. “you look perfect, even if your lip gloss is a little smudged.”
Tumblr media
the second time
you were deep into your nighttime routine, carefully patting moisturizer onto your face when rafe walked into the bathroom.
“what are you doing?” he asked, leaning against the counter and watching you with a curious look.
“my skincare,” you said simply, dabbing a bit of eye cream under each eye. “you should try it sometime.”
he smirked. “i’ll leave that to you, princess.”
you rolled your eyes, turning back to the mirror. “okay, what do you want? you’re staring.”
“a kiss,” he said immediately, stepping closer.
you turned to him with an exasperated sigh. “rafe, my face is all sticky from product. you’ll hate it.”
“don’t care,” he replied, wrapping an arm around your waist to pull you closer.
before you could stop him, he kissed you, pulling back with a satisfied smile despite the faint scent of your moisturizer lingering on his lips.
“you’re impossible,” you muttered, shaking your head.
“and you’re adorable,” he shot back, pressing another kiss to your forehead for good measure.
Tumblr media
the third time
the sun was setting, and you were chatting with sarah and wheezie near the food table when rafe appeared out of nowhere, a mischievous glint in his eye.
“hey,” he said, sliding an arm around your waist.
you looked up at him, smiling. “hey yourself. having fun?”
“not as much as i could be,” he said, his tone teasing as he leaned down slightly, his eyes flicking to your lips.
you quickly caught on, shaking your head. “not here, rafe! your whole family’s watching.”
he shrugged. “so? they know you’re my girlfriend.”
before you could argue, he leaned in and kissed you softly, pulling away just as quickly.
sarah groaned dramatically. “ugh, get a room, you two.”
you flushed, nudging rafe’s side. “see what you did?”
“worth it,” he said, smirking as he reached for a drink.
Tumblr media
the fourth time
you were pacing the living room, phone pressed to your ear as you talked to one of your friends about an upcoming event.
“no, i think we should go with the gold theme—it’s classier,” you said, pausing to listen to their response.
rafe was sprawled on the couch, watching you with an amused expression. when you passed by him for the third time, he reached out and grabbed your wrist.
“babe, stop,” you whispered, waving him off.
he ignored you, pulling you closer until you were standing right in front of him. “just one kiss,” he whispered back, a playful smile on his face.
you glared at him, but he leaned up and pressed a quick kiss to your lips before you could stop him.
“sorry, i got distracted,” you said into the phone, shooting him a look.
rafe just grinned, leaning back like he hadn’t done anything wrong.
Tumblr media
the fifth time
“careful!” you warned as rafe grabbed your hand, admiring the shiny new polish on your nails. “they’re still wet.”
he raised an eyebrow. “so? i’m not touching them.”
“still, don’t mess with me,” you said, narrowing your eyes at him as he pulled you closer.
he smirked. “mess with you? i’d never.”
before you could argue, he kissed you, holding you close despite your half-hearted attempts to scold him.
“rafe! now i’m all distracted,” you whined, though you couldn’t help the smile creeping onto your face.
“good,” he said, grinning. “you’re cuter when you’re distracted.”
Tumblr media
bonus
it had been a long day, and rafe was lying on the couch, his head resting on a pillow as he flipped through channels. he looked so relaxed, so content, that you couldn’t help but be drawn to him.
without a word, you climbed onto the couch and settled beside him, resting your head on his chest.
“hey,” he said, his voice soft as he looked down at you.
“hey,” you replied, tilting your head up to look at him.
he raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised when you leaned up and kissed him gently.
when you pulled back, he grinned. “what was that for?”
“just felt like it,” you said with a shrug, though your cheeks were warm.
“you’re cute when you’re sweet,” he teased, pulling you closer and pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
“don’t let it go to your head,” you mumbled, but you couldn’t hide the smile on your face.

this is the face nerd!Rafe makes when u give him head for the first time ever… yeah…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A heated make out session with his extremely hot tutee already felt like he was acting out some weird fantasy he’s seen in his favorite porno’s. But this? Oh, this was being saved in his memory for the rest of his life.
Your hands traveled down his body, giving him a small smirk as you kissed the skin of his stomach, pulling your tongue out and licking his happy trail, your hands moving to his belt, throwing it off of him. He watched eagerly, his eyes widening as you pulled off his pants and then his boxers, his hard cock springing against his stomach.
“You’re bigger than I thought you would be.” You mused, a shade of pink covering his cheeks now.
You went back up to kiss him again, his lips hungrily moving against your soft ones. You pulled away after a moment, and traveled back down to his cock.
“Wait, wait, are you sure?”
“More than sure.”
Oh fuck. That was hot.
His hips bucked when your mouth finally wrapped around his aching tip, letting out a low moan.
“Oh shit.” He murmured, his hands flying to your head. You put your hands at the base of his cock, while you let your mouth work around his girth. You swirled your tongue around it, and he felt like he was going to ascend into whatever heaven there was.
“Oh, fuck, fuck, fuck.” He groaned out breathily when you looked up at him through your lashes, “you’re- you’re really fucking pretty.” He let out a noise that could only be compared to a whine, his hands tangling further in your hair, gently pulling at it without even realizing. His mouth formed an ‘O’ shape as he stared down at you, his eyebrows creasing together.
You set a faster pace, your mouth speedily moving up and down on his length, while he let out the most delicious sounds you think a person could make. You felt drool forming on the corner of your mouth.
His head fell back on the pillows behind him, despite his attempts to keep looking at you. He raised his head again, letting out a guttural groan when you swirled your tongue once again.
“Y/n-“ he spoke, you still looking up at him with those beautiful eyes that were slowly killing him. He couldn’t take it anymore. You felt his warm cum shoot into your mouth, him letting out a shocked groan, his head falling back against the pillow again.
You pulled away, kitten licking the tip of his cock, swallowing all of his seed.
“Oh god, oh god, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” He spoke rather embarrassed, covering his face with his hands. You smiled at him, tilting your head in confusion.
“You’re okay.” You said with a giggle, him looking at you now, moving his hands away from his face.
He gave you a sweet smile, “Uhm.. thank you. You’re- uhm- really, fucking good at that.”
“Really? Thank you…” you replied. He blushed under your gaze, and you smiled at his shyness. It was adorable.
He sat up on the bed, moving closer to you now. “Uhm… this might be a little… late, but, I- I really like you. And I was wondering if- uh- if maybe you’d wanna go on a date with me? Like- like a real one. With clothes, maybe.” He said with a nervous chuckle, you laughing along.
“I’d love to,” you replied, raising your hand so you could cradle his face, the both of your lips touching again, and the both of you falling back into his sheets.

Rafe spent the next four hours and thirty-two minutes trapped in your closet.
By the time you let him out, the boy’s body was aching all over, having maintained the same position throughout the entire night he spent in there. He heard everything, from the two hours of catching up, to your friends spilling your secrets – to which, you attempted to dodge, aware of the latter yet snared in the cramped space.
Guilt couldn’t capture your emotions, mind fuzzing with all sorts of questions over how you planned to get Rafe out. Ending the night off early clearly wasn’t a choice, hence the girls were too busy conversing to head to bed. Waiting was the only plan you had, and you hoped Rafe could bear with it, because him exiting that closet wasn’t a good impression for both of you.
Rafe sought to endure it, fanning himself with the clothes – said clothes being your tiny bikini pieces, hung inside to get himself through the night. Besides how hot it was, it was dim dark inside, that prior to his phone dying, the strip of light peeking through the door crook was the only thing in sight. So yeah, in his opinion, it was a rough night, he instantly grew to regret his decisions, and seeking your presence way past midnight, aware that he should’ve headed to bed, keeping the promise he vouched to his best friend.
After numerous excuses as to why everyone should sleep, you eventually strived to put everyone to bed, peeking up when you noticed Kiara, who was sharing a room with you, deep in her slumber. You aimed for your closet, tippy toeing as you made your way there, careful not to wake anyone up.
A sigh of relief escaped Rafe’s throat as you unlocked the door, scrunching your nose with haste when it made a creaking noise, causing your best friend to stir in her sleep. The blond let his eyes fall shut, groaning as his arms stretched over his head, body stiff and aching him all over.
You somehow managed to escort him out of your room, not giving him a chance to speak before you slammed the door shut in his face. And that, yeah, it definitely kept Rafe up at night.
The next morning, you woke up to the loud noises erupting through your ears, jolting you awake. The living room filled with chaos, taken aback when you came downstairs and noticed Kelce, along with Topper, and his girlfriend Ruthie. Your vision instantly shifted to Rafe, who straddled one of the seats as he sipped on his cup of coffee, exhaustingly yawning mid chuckle over something Pope said.
A ragged breath escaped your parted lips, instantly turning your head when Rafe’s gaze locked with yours, the smile on his face faltering at the action. Sure, he knew you were upset, but he didn’t think it was this serious, to the point where he couldn’t even glimpse at you without you avoiding his eyes.
Rafe’s attention fixed on you throughout breakfast, secretly stealing glances in your direction when you weren’t looking. The blond perked up at the sight of Kelce embracing you in a hug, until you were fully wrapped in his arms, that, of course, caught him off guard, because based off his knowledge, Ryan was close with the latter, yet he didn’t mind you and him all snuggled up on the couch, merely rolling his eyes when he took notice of the state they were in.
Breakfast filled with laughter, as you and JJ argued over who’s handing the food out, immediately scolded by Cleo, who was helping Kiara plate breakfast for everyone else.
Each person took a corner; JJ standing along with Kiara and keeping her company while she cooked, Pope chatting with Cleo from behind the table, Sarah taking a corner with her boyfriend; John B, whom she dearly missed. And rafe, he was just there, chanting in whenever Kelce mentioned him, only speaking up when necessary.  As for Ruthie and Topper, yeah, you didn’t even want to talk about them.
Ryan rushed everyone to get ready, informing them of the little time they had to get to the party they planned on attending, leaving them no choice but to hurry. It didn’t take Rafe long, taking a quick shower and getting dressed before he found himself heading outside, with the purpose of approaching Ryan, who was seated in his car with his legs slung over the rolled down window.
“Where’s my car?” Rafe questioned, causing Ryan to perk up from his seat.
“Oh, Topper took it.” Ryan casually chimed back, attention shifting down to his phone.
“What the fuck, dude?” Rafe’s face scrunched with disbelief, “Why?”
“They wanted to get there before us,” Ryan explained, “He said they were going to be late.”
“Doesn’t mean he can take my car,” Rafe scoffed, pulling out his phone. “His bitchass could’ve easily used one of his daddy’s cars.”
“Drop it, dude.” Ryan chuckled, snatching the phone from Rafe’s hold. “Jus’ ride with us, it’s no big deal.”
“Yeah?” Rafe’s eyebrows curled with sarcasm, “And then what? Where will the others sit?”
“Relax,” Ryan rolled his eyes, leaning his head over the window, playfully winking at Rafe. “Someone’s in a bad mood, did you not get enough sleep last night?”
“Whatever.” Rafe scoffed, leaning against the car door, now faced away from his friend.
“Why are you in a bad mood?” Ryan giggled, poking Rafe’s cheek with his finger, merely for the latter to swerve away from the touch. “See, you’re grumpy.”
“Fuck off,” Rafe slapped Ryan’s hand out of the way, “It’s nothing.”
“Don’t lie,” Ryan muttered, slightly teasing him with his tone. “What is it? Is it your dad again? Is this about a girl?!”
“No!” Rafe was swift to respond, face flushing a deep shade of red at the assumption. “Drop it, it’s nothing.”
“C’mon, tell me.” Ryan further cooed, “Now I’m curious.”
Rafe remained silent, fixing his attention on the bracelet loose around his wrist, hesitating before he muttered his next words, knowing how much of a tease Ryan was.
“I have this friend…” He trailed off, causing Ryan to fully put his phone down, a cocky grin slowly tugging at his lips. “And he’s having problems with this girl he met.”
“Okay, your friend has relationship problems.” Ryan repeated, emphasizing the friend.
“I wouldn’t really call it relationship problems, but– he’s confused? He knows they can’t be together but when she distanced herself from him it really bothered him.” He rambled under his breath, arms moving in front of his chest. “Because, why would she do that?! First throwing hints that she likes him, then barely even bothering to speak to him.”
“So you like this girl,” Ryan started, “And she’s bossing you around, because you’re a loser at heart, and cannot handle rejection to save your life, am I right?”
“I don– he doesn’t like her!” Rafe defensively shot back, grumbling at Ryan’s response. “This is about my friend, okay? Stop behaving like a dick.”
“What do you want me to say?!” Ryan chuckled, “Your friend should stop being a pussy and pursue her, it’s not every day you find a girl who can sweep you off your feet.”
“He can’t do that!” Rafe muffled through a frustrated sigh.
“Why not?” Ryan tilted his head with confusion, lips jutting into a pout. “Why are you so upset, this isn’t even about you!”
“I care for my friend,” Rafe stammered over his words, “I don’t want him to regret his decisions.”
“Right,” Ryan nodded, not convinced, whatsoever. “Well tell your friend to stop being an idiot for me.”
“Shut up.” Rafe rolled his eyes, unlocking the door to the backseat, and plopping himself on the leather seats.
Everyone eventually made their way downstairs, with Ryan explaining the situation each time someone comes, informing them of the tight position they were put in. There were complaints every now and then, but they instantly accepted their fate, figuring out a plan for the cramped space they were dealing with.
Sarah and John B took the passenger seat, Kiara made herself comfortable in JJ’s lap, leaving Cleo and Pope to barely squeeze themselves next to Rafe, who awaited your presence, as well as Ryan.
After a million calls from your brother practically nagging you to hurry up, you eventually made your way downstairs, out of breath by the time you approached the car. Your eyes slightly widened at the scene of your friends squashed inside, causing you to halt as you opened the door, instantly met with the sight of Rafe, whose attention shifted in your direction once he caught a glimpse of you.
His gaze wandered down your body, taking in the red dress you were wearing as it barely covered anything, hugging your figure perfectly, and exposing the majority of your flesh, complimenting the tone of your skin, where it should be hidden, not for his eyes to see.
“What the hell is going on here?” You asked, addressing Ryan with your question. “I’m not getting in.”
“Stop bitching around and get in!” Ryan shot back, stealing a glance in your direction from over his shoulder.
“Where am I supposed to sit?” You huffed, eyes flickering back to Rafe.
The latter adjusted his position at your statement, flicking his nose with his thumb as he cleared his throat, the gesture causing your pulse to quicken at the silent invitation he offered. You knew exactly what he was hinting, but the idea of straddling Rafe’s lap for the rest of the car ride didn’t sound too good in the moment, especially with the unresolved tension seeping through every time the blond is in your presence.
“Why can’t we just use another car?!” You exclaimed, a breath stuttering out of your throat in the process.
“Topper took Rafe’s car, because Ruthie’s bitch ass didn’t want to wait a little.” Sarah explained from the passenger seat, rolling her eyes over the mention of Ruthie.
“Just get in!” Ryan groaned, “Quit acting like a fucking brat, we’re already late as is.”
“Fine,” you mumbled under your breath, nervously trailing your gaze back to Rafe, who seemed fairly amused by the fit you threw. “Can you scoot over?”
“I’d love to,” he dramatically sighed, “But as you can see, there’s no space for me to do that.”
You rolled your eyes at the lame excuse he used, shuffling to get in, clutching to the side of the door for support. Rafe spread out his legs, patting his lap for you to sit, the action causing you to flush with heat, as it crept past your neck, until it eventually settled on your face. You hesitated to sit, tensing as you nestled yourself on the edge of his lap, afraid he might grow uncomfortable with you fully relaxed.
You held onto the arm rest for support, plopping your head on Ryan’s seat, scoffing when you stole a glance in his direction, yet annoyed by how rude he was being.
“Okay, now that everyone is here, I’ll take– ow!” Ryan’s sentence was cut off as you tangled your hand in his hair, striving to yank his head back. “What was that for?!”
“That’s for being a bitch!” You pursed your lips into a thin line, gasping when Ryan flicked your forehead. “What are you doing, idiot? I just did my makeup!”
Rafe slung an arm around your waist, pulling you with force until your back pressed directly against his firm chest, colliding with your figure in a thud. You slightly tensed under him, taken aback by the gesture, now that you’re able to detect his breath fanning over your exposed flesh, the sensation like feathers to your skin.
“Drive.” Rafe ordered, before Ryan could swing back. “Didn’t you say we’re late?”
“Yeah, man.” Cleo agreed from Pope’s side, who was seated next to Rafe. “Stop fighting.”
“Mhm, stop being a dick Ryan.” You snarked, causing Ryan to flip you off, all while exiting the drive through.
“You’re lucky we’re late.” Ryan exclaimed, causing you to roll your eyes.
“You’re gonna start threatening me no–” your words caught in your throat when Rafe gave your hip a squeeze, shutting you up with the touch.
“‘S enough.” he whispered, lips ghosting over the shell of your ear, the gesture subtle, that none of your friends noticed it.
A breath stuttered out of your chest, remaining calm as you attempted to return to the old position you were in, not realizing the amount of space you took off Rafe’s lap till now. However, your action was instantly interrupted by the hand around your hip, pressing you down when you shuffled to move.
“Get comfortable,” he muttered through a breath, “It’s a long ride.”
Oh.
Oh.
Rafe’s words caused shivers to run down your spine, caught off guard by the sudden boldness washing over him. The latter didn’t give you a chance to question him, fully wrapping his arms around your lower stomach, caging you with his hold, in case you decided to escape his grip.
Music blasted through the speakers, as Sarah took charge of aux. It was nice, enjoying the company of your friends whom you missed the most, finally getting to spend time with them after so long. You sang along to the lyrics, distracting yourself from Rafe’s arms now slung loose in your lap, fingers lightly tracing circles to your thigh.
He chuckled over the chaos, feigning oblivion to how flustered you grew, though he took notice with the way you tensed under his touch, a ragged breath exiting your chest.
The next few minutes continued on, karaoke session breaking through the awkward tension seeping through, not letting it take over as one of your favorite songs started playing, immediately making you perk up with an excited gasp.
You settled down when you felt your energy wear out, striving to save it for the party you were attending, knowing how grumpy you’d get when your stamina runs low.
Your gaze trailed down to Rafe’s arms in your lap, growing intrigued when you caught sight of the appealing bracelet hugging his wrist, the turquoise and brown color mixture earning your interest. Forgetting yourself, you reached for the jewelry, taking the small beads in between your digits as you observed them with a glimpse of curiosity.
The contact of skin caught Rafe off guard, glancing over your shoulder with a hint of puzzlement shown through his expression. His lips curled into a smile, noticing the look of concentration spread across your face, too far gone to realize he was staring at you.
Rafe admired with amusement, watching as you fiddled and toyed with the bracelet, angling his head to the side when you traced over the beads, taking it for granted and wrapping his hand around your fingers, the sight of his hand causing your breath to knock out of your chest, suddenly aware of Rafe’s presence.
The boy grinned at your reaction, rubbing soothing circles to your palm. At this point, Rafe was fisting the entirety of your hand, fingers wrapping over your digits and swallowing your hand whole. Your eyes shifted over to the veins on his hand, trailing all the way up his forearm, the sight causing your throat to run dry, wanting nothing but to trace along each curve and line.
He took your silence as consent to further intertwine his fingers with yours, easily sliding his digits in between your clammy ones, sweaty due to how nervous you grew in the span of a minute. The action was subtle, covered by his figure so no one else could catch in on how sneaky it was.
He was acting as if this was an everyday thing– as if you weren’t still upset at him, as if he could do anything and you would lean into it like it means nothing.
And that, it drove you insane, well aware he was messing around to get a reaction out of you. He could have any girl he wanted, why would he settle for you, his best friend’s little sister, the one he barely acknowledges unless it's in a teasing manner?
You hated when he teased you, and how it would get to you, because it made you feel childish. Rafe saw you as nothing but a little sister, that at first, it didn’t bother you, but now– it was messing with your brain, making your heart ache every time he would address you, or flash a smile in your direction.
Ending up in his lap with his fingers intertwined in yours made you realize a lot of things, one being your need for him. You wanted him, not as some joke for a laugh out of your friends, but for yourself. You wanted nothing but to have him, kiss him right then and there, even if it was wrong, forbidden.
So you chose to enjoy this, whatever act Rafe was engaging in, it seemed to receive all your attention, captivating you whole and sweeping you off your feet.
The rest of the car ride filled with the music playing in the background, atmosphere heavy with tension as Rafe rubbed soothing patterns to your hand, not daring to let go, even while conversing with everyone else.
It brought a smile to your face, reducing the guilt swelling through your chest, wanting nothing but for it to last forever.
You shuffled around in Rafe’s lap, in an attempt to find a more comfortable position, having been in the same one for a little too long. Your action was interrupted halfway through, hips stuttering when Rafe’s nails dug through your side, pressing you down in place with his hold.
“Stop fucking moving.” He muttered over the music, his tone causing you to freeze in your spot.
Heat flushed your face, surprise washing over your expression as you took in his words, knowing exactly what he meant. While trying to make yourself comfortable, you completely looked past the bulge in his pants, growing within every time you brushed over his crotch area.
That changes things.
Rafe was hard, and there was a good chance you were the reason.
This wasn't meant to happen, not right now, when your friends and brother were right there, not even mere inches away.
Your breath heaved, avoiding his hardon every time it would poke you through the thin fabric of clothes separating you. As for the latter, he remained silent, groaning each time the car took a turn, the fraction of your body pressing to his crotch decreasing the control he barely held onto.
A sigh of relief escaped your throat once Ryan parked the car, exiting as soon as he announced your arrival. You avoided meeting Rafe’s gaze, taking your friends’ side when they joined you down.
Rafe disappeared out of your sight as soon as you entered the place the party was being hosted in, diverting your mind off of him, and focusing your attention on your friends, soon joined with Kelce once he took notice of your presence.
Prior to your arrival, Kelce handed you a red solo cup, filled with cheap beer that you could barely swallow down. Besides that, things were fun, his company was a great distraction, avoiding Rafe even after he returned, now standing a few feet away from you, his burning gaze alarming you and stirring up your insides.
Rafe’s chest swelled with frustration, watching as you giggled over something Kelce said, all while his arm wrapped around your waist, as if it was the most casual thing ever. He gulped down the rest of his beer, squeezing it in his hold before he tossed it to the side, immediately aiming for another one.
His jaw clenched with anger, confused by the sudden rage of jealousy washing over him, consuming his body as his blood boiled, wanting nothing but to move forward and punch the grin off Kelce’s face. He held back, though, well aware that he shouldn’t, because you weren’t his.
You had freedom over who you dated, after all, you were Ryan’s sister, meaning you were off limits, forbidden to the touch, even if the only thing he wanted was to lay his hands on you, wishing he treasured you while you were still in his hold.
It was all fun and games until Ruthie bumped into you, ‘accidently’ spilling her drink on your dress. You gasped, tugging the material off your body in an attempt of preventing it from seeping through the fabric, plan failing when the stickiness of the beer laid flat on your skin, staining through it.
“What the fuck?” You cursed, gaze trailing back to Ruthie, who suppressed the smug smile spreading across her face.
“Oops,” she started, cocking her head with a fake pout. “Didn’t mean to do that.”
“What is wrong with you?” You slightly shover her shoulder, the gesture causing her to straighten up.
“‘Fuck was that for?” She spat back, pushing you with full force.
“Oh, so now we’re pushing?” You questioned, handing the cup you had in hand to Kelce, the latter instantly taking it in the process. “Okay, yeah, I don’t mind that.”
Rafe wasted no time when you shoved her yet again, your action riling into a heated fight as Ruthie attempted to grab your hair, merely for you to avoid it by fisting a handful of hers, pushing her head down and taking control of the situation.
“I’ve been waiting to do this!” You grunted dodging her hand as it fumbled through the air, in an attempt to reach for your face. “Nuh uh, baby, keep those hands to yourself.”
Kelce took your side, striving to get you off of her, merely for Rafe to push him away once he was within your presence. He hovered behind you, instantly nudging Ruthie’s hand when her fingers tangled in the strips of your dress.
“Are you done?” Rafe questioned, observing as you poked out your tongue with concentration, wincing every time Ruthie tried to grab you, action interrupted within each time Rafe would dodge it.
“Not yet.” You shot back, yanking her head back one more time before you let go.
“What the fuck, dude?” Topper’s eyes narrowed with anger, quickly approaching the scene, and taking his girlfriend’s side as she rubbed her head with a salty expression spread across her face. “Why are you attacking her?”
“Get a hold of your girlfriend first,” Rafe beat you to speaking, “Then come talking, she spilled beer all over her dress.”
“It was an accident!” Ruthie defensively replied, tears welling in her eyes.
“My ass!” You chanted, words muffled due to the alcohol in your system.
“Why are you starting shit?” Topper shoved Rafe’s shoulder, ceasing the distance separating them. “First you let some chick hit my girlfriend, and now you’re defending her?”
“Fuck off while I’m being nice, Topper.” Rafe warned, a smile forcing its way across his lips. “You know me, I’m crazy; I won’t hesitate to knock you the fuck out.”
Topper’s jaw clenched at his words, avoiding his gaze when Rafe patted his shoulder, immediately reaching for the keys hanging low from his belt.
“Next time, ask before you take my shit.” Rafe muttered, “And she’s not some fucking chick, you hear me?”
“Let’s go, Ruthie.” Topper dismissed Rafe’s statement, “Kelce, you comin’?”
“Right, yeah.” Kelce cleared his throat, giving you a hug before joining Topper, who took his leave after his argument with Rafe.
“Are you okay?” Rafe question, gaze travelling down your beer stained dress.
“Better than ever!” You flash him a sheepish grin, slightly stumbling over your feet.
“You’re a mess.” Rafe muttered under his breath, clicking his teeth as he took off his jacket, and slinging it over your shoulders. “Wear this for now.”
“I’m okay.” You attempted to take it off, giving in when he zipped it up, the jacket swallowing your body whole.
“Jus’ wear it.” He insisted.
You brought the material close to your nose, taking a whiff of the fabric, immediately intoxicated by the scent of his woody cologne flaring through your nostrils.
One thing about Rafe, he smelled good, so good it never failed to make you weak, melting every time you got a whiff of his aroma.
The sun fully set down, and eventually, people started leaving. Rafe kept you company throughout the rest of the night, complaining every time he would steal your drink, trying to limit the alcohol you consumed.
John B took Rafe’s car after Sarah blacked out and accidently threw up over someone, indicating the state she was in. Cleo, JJ and Kiara left as well, announcing how tired they were, deciding to end the night off earlier than intended.
It didn’t take long for the rest of you to join them, with Pope offering to drive after he noticed how far gone Ryan was, passing out as soon as he was in the passenger seat. You took your side of the car, exhaustingly staring out of the window while you let the silence seep through, the sound of the engine the only thing heard throughout the ride back.
Rafe made himself comfortable next to you, using the fact that he was charging his phone as an excuse when you asked why he was so close, as there was plenty of space to his side.
A scoff left your throat as your gaze travelled down to his phone, difficult to avoid with how bright it was. However, the moment you caught sight of his screen, your eyes remained glued to it, growing intrigued as he scrolled through instagram reels.
Your feed filled with makeup and fashion related posts, that when your attention lingered on Rafe’s, it slightly caught you off guard over the big difference between them. The clips were hilarious, so funny you accidentally chuckled over one, your giggles earning Rafe’s attention as he turned in your direction.
“What was that?” He mumbled.
“What?” You questioned, fluttering your eyelashes at him.
“Was that a giggle?” He mused back, a smirk tugging at his lips.
“I don't know what you’re talking about.” You cleared your throat, shifting your gaze back to the window, in an attempt to avoid his eyes.
Rafe chuckled at your reaction, relaxing back in his seat, this time with his phone angled in your direction, in case you decided to change your mind. Spoiler alert; you did, eventually melting into Rafe’s side, head slightly leaning against his arm.
Rafe contently enjoyed the closure of your touch, relaxing when you slinged your hands around his arm, for the purpose of toying with the bracelet you took interest in earlier.
You didn’t know whether it was the alcohol in your system, or the desire seizing control of your body, but you let this play out. No matter how difficult and off-putting it was, you wanted to enjoy it while it lasted, even for a moment.
The boy shut off his phone at the sight, letting the darkness seep through as he whispered his next words, voice merely loud enough for you to hear.
“You like it?” He hushed out.
“Hmm?” You drowsily hummed back, sleep heaving your eyes.
“The bracelet.” He clarified, “Do you like it? It caught your attention earlier.”
“It’s nice.” You beamed, taken aback when he withdrew his arm from your hold.
Rafe took the bracelet off, seeking your hand through the dimness before he slid the jewelry around your wrist, adjusting it as he did so.
“There,” He stifled out a laugh, “Now it’s yours.”
“That easy?” You shot back with disbelief, fingers tracing over the beads.
“Mhm…” He trailed off, voice groggy with tiredness. “Consider it an apology.”
You chuckled at his response, falling into comfortable silence for the rest of the ride back, and if Pope witnessed what merely happened between you two, he kept that to himself, itching to go back and inform his girlfriend all about it.
Pope helped Ryan get to his room once you arrived, having to practically carry him over his shoulders with how blacked out he was. Rafe on the other hand, followed in your steps, coming to a halt when you approached your room.
The door unlocked with a click, hesitating to make any noise when you noticed Kiara sprawled on your, deep in her slumber. You turned back to Rafe with a smile, clutching to the doorknob as you spoke.
“Thank you.” You said, causing the latter to snicker.
“For what?” He shot back.
“I don’t know?” You tilted your head, “For helping me pull out Ruthie’s hair– is that valid?”
“Oh yeah,” he nodded, pressing his lips into a thin line for a moment. “Well, then, I’ll leave you to it, let me know if you need anything.”
“Mhm, will do.” You hummed, watching as Rafe awkwardly shuffled around, itching to say something, yet hesitating as he turned in the other direction, striving to take his leave.
Boldness overcame you as you leaned forward, taking the side of his face in between your fingers in an attempt to press a kiss to his cheek, plan backfiring when he slightly turned, lips landing on the corner of his mouth.
Rafe stiffened, pupils dilating as you leaned back, obviously as shocked as he was. Your heartbeat increased in under a second, the sound thumping through your ears, that you were afraid Rafe might hear it over the silence.
“I–” you stammered, feeling your throat run dry. “That wasn’t supposed to–”
“Goodnight.” Rafe mused back, lips curling into a smile once he noticed how flustered you grew. “Sleep well.”
“Goodnight.” You muttered through a breath, scrambling to shut the door.
And if Rafe turned into a grinning mess once you were out of sight, it was definitely not because you kissed him.
If that even counts as one, as you were obviously intoxicated due to the alcohol in your system.

RAFE AND HIS WEIRD FUGGLER OBSESSED!GF!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rafe always knew his girlfriend was weird, but the day she bought the most vile, weird, grotesque stuffed animal was the day he knew she was superrr weird, but he loved her, nonetheless.
YOUR POV:
you were at the store with your boyfriend's sister, Sarah Cameron. she was the complete opposite of him, but that was good. she was a super sweet girl who loved you like you were her own.
as you two walked down the aisles you came across a green stuffed animal with squinted eyes and... human teeth??
"Sarah, look at this!" you said before turning to face Sarah with the interesting stuffed animal in your hands. she looked at you with a face of horror and mock disgust.
"y/n, what is that?!" she asked before taking it from your hands, inspecting it in all its creepy glory. "I do not know, but I want it...!" you said with a grin on your face
you grab the stuffed animal back from Sarah and begin walking to the cash register to begin checking out.
as you and Sarah get into the car, you pull out the stuffed animal and grab one of the protein bars Sarah bought and slide it in his arms, so it looks like he's holding it. you slide your phone out of your pocket and open the camera app and take a picture of it. you then decide to send it to rafe with the title, 'look what i bought'
——————————————————————————
RAFES POV-ISH:
rafe was lying down in his bed, wishing he could spend time with you on his day off, but sarah had gotten to you first.
he was about to drift off to sleep until he felt his phone buzz under his pillow. he grabbed it, turned it on, and smiled when he saw it was from you, your name marked with a heart in his notification center.
but his smile quickly fades when he sees the most vile, sickening, and disgusting creature on his screen. his face scrunches up as he types a reply.
“WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT” he frowns when he sees your reply. “it’s your kid don’t be mean??” he then scoffs to himself before typing, “that thing is NOT my kid.” he’s loving this playful banter between you two.
he wears a smile on his face as he sets down his phone once again, letting himself drift off to sleep.
god, he loves you.
sorry this was short :((

OVERPROTECTIVE! — RAFE CAMERON (smut 18+, mdni.)
pairing; dealer!rafe cameron x toppersister!reader
summary: when your friend dragged you to the cut of one of the pouges infamous keggers, you didn't expect to be dragged home by your brothers dealer best friend.
warnings: kinda innocent!reader, talk of drugs, partying and drinking. smut 18+ only please please! (haven't proof read...)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"this is such a bad idea" you murmured quietly, glancing across at the boneyard from your friend kate's pristine white jeep.
"oh cmon, it'll be fun. and anyways, how could your brother find you all the way out here. he would rather die than set foot on the cut" kate rambled, yanking out of the car while her heels made a crunching sound against the gravel of the carpark.
on the ride over from figure eight, you had gnawed at your bottom lip so hard you wouldn't be surprised if you drew blood. topper would have actually killed you if he found out what you were doing.
you had been to parties on your side of the island before, and even those made your brother mad, but never had you stepped foot at a kegger on the cut.
but, here you were at 11:15 on a saturday night, about to 100 per cent regret every decision you had ever made that led to this. but it was your senior year! and you were sick and tired of letting topper dictate what you did and didn't do.
you had come to the realisation that you weren't really sure why topper cared so much about what you did. i mean sure he was your twin brother, who would never make you forget how he was in fact 2 minutes older, but he had never really cared what you did before.
i mean sure, you guys were close and he cared if you were safe or not, but it was only really until he became closer with his friend rafe that he started getting really, really overprotective.
rafe had been lurking around your house since you were little, always bossing topper around and annoying that absolute shit out of you. but never saying any more than one word to you before pulling topper into any mess he was about to get into.
"cmon cmon, lets go party!" kate exclaimed, pulling you out of your thoughts and also onto the soft sand of the boneyard.
it was safe to say that this party was far from the ones you had witnessed before. there were people do coke on any surface you could see, the distinct smell of weed filling your nostrils and kegs upon kegs lined up against the fallen branches.
"miss thorton! what brings you around my neck of the woods!?" you hear a voice yell behind you before an arm is slung quickly around your shoulder.
"shush jj! im undercover" you joke, pushing your perfecting manicured finger against your lips. "whoops! my bad princess" he slurred, swaying against your body as he pushed more and more of his weight onto you.
you giggled, swiftly setting him down on the sand before he made you topple over. "he'll be fine, just needs a little rest" john b beams to you, passing you a red solo cup full of suspicious liquid before you could decline.
you smiled at him and held the cup weighing heavily in your hand, noticing kate was long gone from your side. you looked around nervously, what were you doing?
you didn't drink, you didn't do drugs, you didn't party.
you were the classic good girl of kildare county, and your skirt was way to precious to you to get anything spilt on it. but you were here, so why don't you just enjoy yourself right?
you looked down at the liquid in the cup, it fizzing and foaming as it stared back at you. you took a cautionary sip before nearly gagging, the acid making its way down your throat.
"yuck!" you whispered to yourself, pulling a face as you rested the cup down on a branch so someone could pick it up later.
the music pumped in your ears, people dancing and swaying on the shore of the beach as the lights of the street only dimly lit the area up.
you heard your name being yelled behind you as kate embraced you in a hug, swaying and smelling of weed. "i have to introduce you to someone, apparently he sells the best weed on the island! why don't you try some! but shush let's not tell your brother" she slurred her words as she rambled on, pulling you across the sand into the crowd of people.
"you know kate, i don't think this is the best idea" you muttered, letting her guide you where the music was louder and the smell was far more intense.
"it will be fun! and we can tell him its your first time! i mean apparently, he is not a nice guy but you have a knack for changing that about people!" you rolled your eyes at her babble, your feet suddenly stopping once you had arrived at your apparent destination.
you were still hidden behind kate as she approached the man sitting on a broken branch, his legs spread wide and hands sifting through money.
"hey! my friend really wants to try your stuff, think you could help us out?" kate asked, pulling you out from behind her as a small gasp left your lips.
"y/n? what the fuck are you doing here!" rafe spat, gathering all his cash and baggies and stuffing them in his pocket. "you two know each other?"
you shifted your eyes from his angered face, jaw clenching and fists bunched tightly together.
"yeah, and you're an idiot for bringing her here. get the fuck outta my face. cmon" rafe gestured to you, taking your hand in his and leading you to the car park.
you looked back at kate before staring at rafe in front of you, unable to fight against his grip. you had been at this party all of 20 minutes and all you had done is be dragged around before having to go home!
"rafe stop!" you exclaimed as he pulled you up the beach and towards his blue truck in the car park.
how did you not notice that?
"what the heck are you doing?" you asked, him swinging the passenger door open for you as you stared at him like he was an idiot.
"get in." he said, running lifting his arms up to run his hands through his hair as you noticed a gun tucked into his waistband.
what in the actual fuck was happening?
"what! no way! since when do you deal drugs and carry guns? i don't even know who you are anymore and there is no way i'm getting into your car with you."
he rolled his eyes at you statement, putting his ringed hands against your waist and lifting you into his car effortlessly.
you huffed as he smiled at you sarcastically before closing the passenger door and jumping into the driver's side.
he looked at you expectingly as you stared at his face, his eyes a beautiful shade of blue and his lips pink. he rolled his eyes once again before reaching over and doing up your seat belt for you, his touch making goosebumps on your cleavage as he fastened it.
you sat in silence for a second before he started driving in the direction of figure eight, his large hands gripping tightly on the wheel.
"what were you actually fucking thinking? going to a party on the cut, who knows what could have happened to you if i wasn't there" rafe spat, taking his eyes off the road momentarily to look at you before turning his head back.
"what does it matter to you rafe, i just wanted to have fun and i don't regret it. so tell topper i don't care." you huffed, sinking into your seat, not even believing the words coming out of your own mouth.
"like topper would care anyways" he stated, clenching his jaw so hard you thought it would actually break. "what?"
"toppers not the one that cares." you looked at him dumbfounded, taken aback by his statement. "what do you mean rafe?"
he ignored your statement as he kept driving into the night, the uneasy silence resting heavily in the air. you tapped your fingers against the armrest, watching the trees blur into a haze of green before tannyhill came into view.
"i thought you were taking me home?" you asked, your question again going unanswered until the car came to a halt.
"you're staying at mine, get out." he huffed, walking around the car before swinging your door open and helping you down.
"why would i stay at yours? you're my twin brother's best friend. stop being an idiot rafe" you huffed, halting your movements and staying right out the front of his door.
"you're not the one to be calling shots" rafe said, once again pulling you by the hand up to his room. before you could think he sat you down softly on his bed, kneeling down to look you in the eyes as if to see if you were high or not.
"go away, i'm not high. and you do not have the moral high ground right now"
"shut up" he sighs, resting his large hands down on your bare thighs. "what?" you gasp, ready to smack his touch away the second you could bring yourself to do it.
"do you actually not know how much you drive me crazy?" rafe asks, his stare almost burning holes in your eyes as he looked at you. "i've had my eye on you since we were 3, making sure you never came to me asking for coke or weed, because you know what i would do if anything happened to you? i would go fucking insane."
"rafe..." you sighed, bringing your hand up to his warm cheeks and he leant into your touch. "no. no, don't say anything, i don't wanna hear it-"
he was cut off by your lips touching his, your hands lifting to feel his spiky buzz cut underneath your fingertips. he immediately starting kissing you back as if before this he had never taken a breath before, and you were his oxygen.
his searing touch made its way under your shirt and up to the bottom on your bra, running his hands up and down as he pushed you back so you lay on his soft sheets.
you felt him pull at the hem of your cami, the dainty pink fabric peeling off swiftly as you were left in your bra and skirt. he looked up at you with love-drunk eyes, pupils dilated and black while he started kissing down your neck.
"wait- rafe, no. we can't. topper." you gasped as you somehow leaned even more into his touch as the words came out of your mouth. he halted his actions for a moment, pulling back so he could look at you.
"fuck topper" he spoke as he pulled his shirt off swiftly, his perfect tan skin and abs making you bite your lip. you squealed as he picked you up and brought you to the top of his bed, leaning your head softly against the pillows.
"you're so pretty, so so pretty baby" he uttered, unzipping your skirt and pulling it down your soft legs. "we don't have to do this yeah? only if you want."
you didn't think you could actually adore this man more, but he surprised you every word he spoke.
"please rafe" you whined, dragging your acrylics against his abs as you watched the goosebumps from your touch.
he let out a quiet "fuck" as he smashed his lips onto yours once more.
you reached down to the waistband of his pants feeling around before pulling back as you felt an unfamiliar metal-shaped object.
he looked down at your movements as you stopped "whoops, my bad ma." he pulled the gun out of his waistband and tucked it under the pillow you weren't resting against, going back to kissing you as you giggled.
he undid his belt swiftly, pulling down his pants and boxers until his hard member came into view. you didn't even have time to think of how massive it was as he went down to kiss you once more, pulling your panties aside and entering a finger into you.
"shit, you're so fucking tight." he sighed against your lips.
you whined in response, reaching down to his cock and pumping it in your hand. "can't wait any more rafe."
"its ok baby, i've got you"
you gasped loudly as he first entered into you, the large intrusion making you whine in both pain and pleasure.
"yeah, cmon. you can take it baby. you can take it"
his strokes were slow and powerful, filling you up until you felt as though you would snap. his groans soon filled the room as he pounded into you.
"you're so so good to me baby, can't believe we haven't done this sooner. gonna make you mine ma" he moaned, that statement bringing you over the edge as you came around him with a moan.
"thank you thank you thank you" you chanted, your acrylics surely making bright red scratches to his muscly back while you came.
"no, baby. thank you."

How would Pornstar!Rafe respond to the internet and his fangirls thinking he’s gone soft and now a one woman man and no longer the pussy slayer?
oh you know he’s gotta give the haters a little snippet of him destroying you a bit 💦
Reading all of the comments on his Twitter, had Rafe fuming. He would pretend that it didn’t bother him, but you knew him well enough now to know that he felt his ego slipping away from everyone saying the ‘pussy slayer’ himself had gone soft. The both of you had been posting videos that showed a more passionate side to your relationship, after all it took the two of you long enough to be where you were at now.
The comments didn’t change Rafe’s feelings towards you, he still was in love with you and didn’t care that he had now settled down with just one woman. You were special to him in ways no one else would ever understand. That didn’t mean he wasn’t about to give you a brutal fucking to show all those Twitter bitches that the ‘pussy slayer’ hadn’t gone soft.
Of course he’d have you bent over, belt wrapped around your throat as his free hand would be pressed down into your scalp to keep you looking directly at the camera that was set up. He’d tug at the leather every time you’d try to run from his thrusts, a cocky smirk on his face as he pounded you into oblivion. “What’s my fuckin’ name?” He spat, looking at the two of you in the viewfinder. “Don’t make me ask again whore. Don’t care how hard you are getting fucked. You know damn well I don't like repeating myself slut.”
When this side of Rafe came out, he gave zero fucks. He got off on you being a complete mess for him, and the way you looked right now had him on cloud nine. Your pretty cheeks were stained with mascara, your full lips swollen and you were an absolute babbling mess. There was truly no one else who could ever fuck you like this. “R-rafe… Cameron…” You mumbled, throat sore from the constant tugging of the leather belt. Your cunt was on fire in the best way possible, and you knew it was only a matter of time before you had an earth shattering orgasm.
Rafe let out a sarcastic laugh, his hand that was on top of your head holding it in place as he plunged his huge cock in and out of your soaked hole. “That’s it. You are gonna say my name again and again until you cum all over this big dick. And if you keep stuttering acting like you’re dumb I will fucking stop.” His tone dark, blue eyes hooded as he looked down at you. He was wrecking you and showing everyone not to ever underestimate him again.

Rafe exhales sharply, tossing his cap onto the polished table with a frustrated thud. He rakes a hand through his buzzed hair, his expression caught between exasperation and regret. "C'mon, baby, don’t be like that," he pleads, his tone softer than the storm brewing between the two of you. But his attempt at pacifying you only stokes the fire raging in your chest.
You remain unmoved, your gaze fixed on the pristine, manicured lawn of the country club, arms wrapped tightly around yourself as though you’re physically holding your anger in check. The vibrant chatter of nearby patrons fades into the background, the sound nothing more than white noise to the tension crackling between you. "Like what?" you snap, voice cold and sharp, refusing to look at him.
"Like you're fucking insecure!" Rafe bites back, his words slicing through the air without thought or care. Your head whips toward him, eyes narrowing in fury. "You did not just say that to me," you seethe, the disbelief quickly morphing into a sharp-edged anger that spreads like wildfire. Rafe stares at you, jaw tight, offering no apology, no acknowledgment of the weight of what he just said.
It only fuels your rage. "You think this is about me being insecure?" you spit, stepping closer to him, your voice rising. "You let her hang all over you, Rafe. Laughing, flirting, and touching you. And you just stood there, eating it up like a goddamn idiot while I was standing right there. Right fucking there. Do you even realise how disrespectful that was?" Your words hit like rapid-fire bullets, but Rafe just shakes his head, his silence infuriating you further.
"You couldn’t even pretend to give a shit about me," you continue, your voice sharp enough to cut. "Not a glance, not a word, nothing. You just let her make a fool out of me. Do you even care how that made me look? How it made me feel?" "It wasn’t like that," Rafe mutters finally, his tone dismissive as he runs a hand through his hair again, avoiding your eyes. "Oh, fuck off," you snap, venom dripping from every syllable.
"Don’t you dare try to gaslight me, Rafe. I saw exactly what it was like. She was all over you, and you let it happen. You didn’t even have the decency to act like I was there." Your voice is rising now, no longer caring who might overhear. "You want to talk about insecurity? How about the fact that you can’t say no to someone feeding your fucking ego? God forbid you turn her down, because then what? You don’t get to be the centre of attention for five goddamn minutes?"
Rafe flinches at your words, his posture stiffening, but you’re too far gone to stop. "You’re pathetic," you hiss, stepping even closer, forcing him to look at you. "You love it, don’t you? The attention, the admiration—so much that you don’t even care what it costs me. You don’t care that it makes me look like a joke. That it makes me feel like a fucking idiot for standing by your side." "That’s not fair," Rafe says quietly, his tone defensive, but his voice is barely audible over your anger.
"Fair?" you bark out a bitter laugh, shaking your head. "Do you even know what that word means, Rafe? Fair is treating the person you claim to care about with an ounce of respect. Fair is not making me feel like I’m in this relationship alone while you let random girls flirt with you because it strokes your goddamn ego." Your breathing is heavy now, your chest heaving as you glare at him, your anger a living, breathing thing that refuses to be contained.
For a moment, you think Rafe might say something—anything—to defend himself, to fix this. His lips part as if words are on the tip of his tongue, but he hesitates. Instead, he just stares at you, his jaw tight, his lips pressed into a thin line, the weight of his silence hanging heavy in the air. His refusal to fight for you—to fight with you—burns hotter than anything he could have said.
"Unbelievable," you mutter, your voice dripping with bitter disbelief as you turn on your heel. You pause just long enough to deliver one final blow, the venom in your words leaving no room for ambiguity. "You know what, Rafe? When that Pogue turns on you, don’t you dare come crawling back to me. You made your choice." You don't wait for his response—if he even has one.
Your heels click sharply against the floor as you walk away, your back to him, shoulders squared. The lump in your throat threatens to choke you, but you swallow it down, your anger your shield against the pain threatening to bubble up. Behind you, Rafe doesn’t call out. He doesn’t follow. The soft scrape of his chair shifting against the floor is the only sound he makes, and it sends a pang of hurt slicing through your chest.
You don’t look back. You can’t. You leave him standing there, his cap still sitting on the table, the perfect picture of a man who’s just realised how deeply he’s fucked up. The realisation is written all over his face, but it’s too little, too late.
~
"Hello?" you answer, pressing the phone to your ear. The line crackles with a brief silence, heavy and tense, before you hear a voice—his voice. "She fucked me over," Rafe spits out, his words sharp and laced with anger. "She screwed with me and my fucking money." Your eyes widen, and instinctively, you sink into the nearest seat, your mind racing to process the flood of emotions his sudden call evokes.
His tone is frantic, his words tumbling out in a bitter, unrelenting rant. "What?" you manage, your voice tight with confusion. "What are you talking about, Rafe?" He exhales harshly, the sound of frustration practically vibrating through the receiver. "Sofia," he growls, the name dripping with venom. His words come fast, tumbling over each other in a frantic, furious rant.
"She—she knew. The whole time. She knew exactly what was happening to my money and just watched it happen. Worse, she didn't do a damn ting to stop it because she was a part of it." Your stomach twists as his words paint a picture of betrayal deeper than you’d imagined. "What the hell are you talking about?" you ask, your voice sharper now, though confusion still clouds your tone.
"She was involved," he says bitterly. "The deal—the fucking deal that cost me everything. She kept her mouth shut, let me take the hit, and now I’m the one left to clean up the mess. And the whole time, she stood there smiling, acting like she gave a damn about me." You exhale slowly, trying to process the weight of what he’s saying.
There’s an anger rising in you—not for Sofia, but for Rafe’s blind trust and his reckless decisions. "And what, you just figured this out now?" "No," he admits, his voice dropping to something almost pained. "I knew something was off for weeks. But I didn’t want to believe it. I fucking proposed to her, for God’s sake. Thought if I just… held on tighter, I could fix things. Fix us."
You freeze, the confession hitting you like a sucker punch. "You proposed?" "Yeah," he spits, the word dripping with self-loathing. "And you know what she did? She cried. Not because she was happy. Not because she loved me. Because she felt guilty." He laughs bitterly, the sound hollow and cold. "She couldn’t even bring herself to tell me the truth while I was down on one fucking knee."
For a moment, the line goes quiet, his words hanging heavy in the air between you. "You know, Rafe," you finally say, your voice steady but edged with anger, "this is what happens when you put your trust in someone who’s only looking out for themselves." He exhales sharply, the sound of his frustration practically vibrating through the phone. "I get it," he snaps. "I should’ve listened to you. You warned me, and I didn’t care. I thought I knew better."
"You thought you were untouchable," you counter, your words hitting him like a slap. "And now you’re calling me? For what? To say I told you so?" "No," he says, softer now, almost broken. "I don’t know why I called. Maybe because you were the only one who actually gave a damn about me. Or maybe because I needed someone to hear it—someone who’d understand what it’s like to be completely fucked over by someone you trusted."
You close your eyes, the ache in his voice tugging at something deep inside you. But you push it aside, unwilling to let his pain pull you back in. "This doesn’t change anything, Rafe," you say firmly. "You made your choices. You can’t just run to me every time they blow up in your face." "I know," he murmurs, the defeat in his tone cutting deeper than his anger ever could. "I just… I didn’t know who else to call." You let out a breath you didn’t realise you were holding, feeling the weight of Rafe’s words sink in.
“Where are you?” you ask, your voice barely above a whisper, trying to make sense of everything. “Morocco,” he says, the word hanging in the air like a punch. Your heart stutters, and your eyes widen as you try to process his response. “What?” you ask, unable to keep the disbelief out of your voice. “With who?” "Sarah and her friends. Look, it’s... a long story, alright?" You scoff, shaking your head. The frustration that had been simmering inside you spills over, and you can’t keep the bitterness out of your voice.
“Yeah, I can fucking imagine. Jesus, Rafe. What have you gotten yourself into this time?” You feel your hands balling into fists, the anger bubbling up again. How did he always manage to get himself tangled in these messes? There’s a pause on the other end, the kind of silence that feels heavy with regret. Rafe’s voice comes through, softer, almost pleading. “Can you do me a favour? Please?” You hesitate, trying to weigh your options. After everything that’s happened, you weren’t sure you wanted to do him any more favours, but you couldn’t ignore the desperation in his tone.
“Depends,” you reply, keeping your guard up, knowing full well that Rafe’s requests often led to more complications than they were worth. He sighs heavily, as if the weight of what he’s about to ask is too much. “Can you go to my house and check if she’s still there?” You furrow your brow, confusion clouding your thoughts. “What’s she doing in your house?” The words tumble out before you can stop them, your suspicion rising like an unsettling tide. There’s a beat of hesitation before Rafe’s voice cracks slightly.
“I... I asked her to move in with me,” he admits, the rawness of his confession making the words sting like salt on a wound. You feel a cold laugh escape you before you can stop it. “Yeah, of course you did,” you mutter, your teeth clenching as the bitterness grows. The thought of Sofia, the same woman who had betrayed him, now living in his house—it doesn’t sit right with you. It feels like a betrayal in itself, a reminder of everything Rafe never learned. “Please, Y/n,” Rafe’s voice cuts through the tension, quieter now, softer, and the pleading tone in his words makes your chest tighten.
“I just need to know if she’s still there. I can’t trust anything right now, and I don’t know who else to ask.” You lean back against the wall, your eyes closing for a moment as you let out a long, frustrated sigh. You knew it was going to be something like this. You knew Rafe’s charm and his impulsiveness would lead him straight into another mess, but this? This felt like too much. “Fine,” you say, finally, the weight of his request heavy in your chest. “I’ll go. But you owe me one, Rafe.”
~
Pulling up to the house you were once so familiar with, you let out a deep sigh. The place looks the same, but it feels different—distant. Your hand tightens on the steering wheel for a moment before you shift into park. You take a breath and step out of the car, walking up the front stairs with a heavy sense of purpose. When you test the front door, your suspicion proves right—it’s unlocked. Slowly, you push it open, the creak of the hinges breaking the silence inside. The house feels empty, eerily quiet.
You move further in, your footsteps echoing off the hardwood floors, until a voice stops you dead in your tracks. "Rafe? Is that you?" The shakiness in her tone is unmistakable, and it irks you more than you care to admit. You scoff under your breath and follow the sound of her voice to the living room. There she is—Sofia, looking nothing like the confident, composed woman she used to be. The moment she sees you, her eyes widen in shock, and she quickly stands, hastily wiping her tears from her cheeks.
"What are you doing here?" she says, her voice a mix of disbelief and unease. You can’t hide the bitterness that creeps into your words as you respond. "Trust me, I do not want to be here," you roll your eyes, moving to sit on the single armchair across from her, the space between you two feeling as vast as the gulf that’s grown between your lives. "Why are you here, Y/n?" Her voice shakes, but you can see the cracks in her façade. She’s barely holding it together.
You lean back in the chair, crossing your arms. "I could ask the same of you. Rafe wanted you out of here." Her throat tightens, and she swallows hard, trying to maintain some control. "I'm not leaving until I talk to him again," she argues, but her resolve feels weak, as if she knows deep down that this battle is already lost. You scoff, your patience wearing thin. "Yeah, good luck with that, sweetheart. You're dead to him," you say flatly, watching as the color drains from Sofia’s face.
The fear in her eyes is almost satisfying. She’s starting to realise the weight of the mess she’s made. "I-I..." She stammers, her eyes darting around, desperately searching for an escape that isn’t coming. You lean forward slightly, letting the silence linger just long enough before you speak again, your voice cold, steady. "You know what Rafe can’t stand more than anything, Sof?" you begin, watching as she flinches at the mention of his name. "Backstabbers."
The word hangs between you, thick with meaning, and you can see the realisation slowly settle in her. There’s no turning back now. Sofia's eyes dart nervously, avoiding yours as if she’s trying to escape the gravity of your words. She opens her mouth to speak but stops herself, as though the words are caught in her throat. She shifts uncomfortably in her seat, wiping her eyes again, but this time the tears don’t come.
Instead, there's just this raw vulnerability, something she rarely ever lets slip. "I didn't mean for it to happen like this," she finally mutters, her voice a broken whisper. "You don’t understand. I—" "Save it," you cut her off, your tone colder than you expected. "I’m not here for your excuses, Sofia. Whatever sob story you’ve cooked up, I don’t care. The damage is done. Rafe trusted you. He would’ve given you the world if you asked for it. And you—" You stop, swallowing the heat building in your chest.
"You took everything from him, didn’t even think twice about it." Sofia trembles, her gaze flickering to the floor as she struggles to hold back the overwhelming guilt threatening to spill out. "I didn’t want this to happen. I swear I didn’t," she whispers, her voice uneven. "I was hurt. By what he said, by the way he treated me. I—I was just trying to keep things from falling apart, and it got too messy. I couldn’t back out."
You laugh bitterly, shaking your head. "Oh, so that’s it? You were hurt, so you decided to screw him over? That’s your excuse?" Her lip quivers, and for a moment, you think she might break, but then her voice rises, desperate. "It wasn’t like that!" she insists. "You don’t get it. I didn’t mean to hurt him. I thought maybe if I just went along with it, I could fix things—" "Fix things?" you snap, standing abruptly, the chair scraping loudly against the floor.
"By lying to him? By betraying him? That’s what you call fixing things?" You scoff again, crossing your arms. "You didn’t care about fixing anything. You cared about yourself. You wanted to stay comfortable, no matter what it cost him." She stands too, her posture stiff, her shoulders drawn tight. "I was scared," she says, her voice trembling. "I didn’t know what to do. I thought if I stayed quiet, I could keep it together. I didn’t want to hurt him, I swear—"
You cut her off with a wave of your hand, the irritation bubbling to the surface. "Stop acting like I care, Sofia," you say flatly, your words slicing through the tension. "You think I’m here defending him? After what he put me through?” You let out a humorless laugh. "I couldn’t care less about Rafe. But you—" You step closer, your eyes narrowing.
"You think you’re special, don’t you? You think you can walk in here, cry a few tears, and fix everything? And the worst part is, you don’t even realise it." Her mouth falls open slightly, her expression faltering as she processes your words. She looks at you like she’s seeing someone else, someone she doesn’t recognise, and for a fleeting moment, you almost feel bad. Almost.
"You broke him, Sofia," you say, your voice dropping into a harsh whisper. "And now you’re standing here, trying to paint yourself as the victim. It’s disgusting." The silence that follows is deafening, a void neither of you can fill. Sofia doesn’t respond. She doesn’t move. She just stands there, her shoulders slumped, her eyes glossy but dry. For once, she has nothing left to say. "Get out," you say finally, your voice calm but firm, the weight of your words unmistakable. "You’ve done enough damage."
Sofia's lip quivers as she stands there for a moment, motionless, her breath hitching as if she wants to argue but can’t find the words. Instead, she presses her trembling lips together and nods faintly, her head hanging low. Without another word, she brushes past you, her footsteps hesitant but quickening as she heads for the door. The sound of her leaving echoes through the house—the shuffle of her shoes on the floor, the creak of the door as it opens, and the final, resounding click as it closes behind her.
For a few moments, you remain where you are, letting the silence settle over the space. The air feels heavier now, and your chest tightens with a mixture of lingering anger and exhaustion. You reach into your pocket, pulling out your phone with a deliberate slowness. Your thumb hovers over Rafe’s name in your contacts for a second longer than it should, but you shake off the hesitation and press the call button. The line rings twice before he picks up.
"What?" His voice is sharp, irritated, like he wasn’t expecting you to call—or wasn’t in the mood to deal with you if you did. "It’s done," you say simply, your tone devoid of emotion. "She’s gone. You won’t have to deal with her anymore." There’s a pause on the other end, long enough for you to hear him exhale. "Good," he mutters, his voice clipped. You don’t respond right away, letting his words hang in the air.
When you do speak, your voice is distant, detached. "Don’t call me again, Rafe. Whatever this was—whatever you needed—it’s over." "What’s that supposed to mean?" he snaps, the irritation in his voice sharpening into something defensive. "It means I’m done," you say firmly, your grip on the phone tightening. "Don’t drag me into your mess again. Clean up your own life next time." "Y/n—" You don’t wait for him to finish.
You end the call and toss your phone onto the couch, the finality of it settling over you like a weight. For a moment, you stand there, staring at the empty room, the silence pressing down on you. It’s done. Whatever mess Rafe and Sofia had created, you’d played your part in untangling it. But as you look around the house, you realise you feel no sense of victory, no relief. Just a hollow emptiness, as if something in you has finally burned out.
Without another glance, you grab your bag and head for the door. You don’t need to stay here any longer. You’ve said everything you needed to say, done everything you needed to do. And as you step outside into the fresh air, you make a silent promise to yourself: you’re walking away from this for good.

rafe with a clingy and weird girl
rafe wasn’t always so buff. when you two first started dating he was sorta lanky. you would pinch his thin arms and tease him. when he starts buffing out? holy shit you can’t get enough of him.
he’s come home from the gym and the first thing you do is shove your face into his chest, inhaling him as you rub your face against his pecs. he wraps his arm around your head, practically suffocating you in him. “mell goo.” you mumble into his chest. your hand slowly trails up and you squeeze his pec. like it’s a boob. he hisses and smacks your hand away, shoving you playfully.
you pout, “i wanna squeeze.”
he snickers out a laugh, smacking your hand away from him again. “leave me alone.”
this brightens you up. “are you ticklish?” your tone is teasing, fingers twiddling at him.
he lets out a full bodied laugh at this, pushing your hands away again. “get off, weirdo.”
“just let me honk your tit and i’ll stop”
“i don’t have tits.”
“dude, they’re staring right at me”
“im not your dude”
“okay my beautiful dude let me honk it”
“im feeling very sexualized”
another time when you guys are getting ready for bed. he’s brushing his teeth and you’re applying under eye cream. his arms look absolutely delicious, flexing soflty as he keeps brushing. you can’t control yourself.
you chomp down on his bicep. he stares at you completely bewildered. “did you bithe me?” mouth full of toothpaste
“you looked yummy” you say it lamely. as if it’s no big deal
“you’re like a dog”
“only like? Let’s solidify that” you chomp the air
he laughs, playfully shoving your face away from him.“get away from me”
“come on, it’s just cute aggression. I need to get it out”
“cute aggression? you think im cute??”
you shrug again, nodding. “i’ll show you cute baby,” he scoops you up trodding you over to your shared bed as you laugh happily. “it’s my turn to honk and bite you”

you knew something was weighing heavy on rafe’s mind when he walked into your camper, his usual smile now replaced with a tight line as he shut the screen door behind him. “what’s the matter?” you were quick to put your mixing spoon down, wiping your hands on your apron as rafe plopped down on the small couch in the corner. apart of him didn’t even want to entertain his dad’s obvious trap to corner you and put you in an uncomfortable position, but at the same time he wanted, needed, ward to know that he was one hundred percent all in with you. he needed ward to see that he was serious about all of this.
“wheezie told my dad about us.” your stomach was in knots at the mere mention of ward, and rightfully so. you were a witness as to what kind of person he was. while you and rafe had agreed to keep your relationship under wraps, word about you and him being together had spread across the island like wildfire. you hated the plummeting feeling in your chest whenever rafe talked about how his dad would do anything to sabotage the two of you if it meant saving his family’s bullshit of a ‘reputation’. sure, the kook spotlight was on the them, but would it really matter if rafe brought someone home from the other side of the island?
surely kildare couldn’t be that divided.. right? to the point where the financial status of your partner sunk the ship that was your family’s social relevance?
you were already thinking the worst, shame and guilt flooding your senses at the thought of being the person who would potentially contribute to their ‘downfall’. the idea was silly, but everyone on figure eight was so shallow and superficial, you had no doubt rafe’s own social status had been knocked down a few points ever since he was seen with you and it was revealed that you did not in fact live in a mansion with your rich, snobby parents. hell, you didn’t have parents at all.
“how did that come about?” you draped yourself across his lap once you got your apron off, the distressed look on his face making your own nerves come into play. as if it was second nature to him, he pulled you close against his chest, his hand resting reassuringly on your thigh. “well..” he sighed, relaxing against the cushions, “wheezie and her friend wanted to sneak out to a party, and at first i was super against it, but then she told me that i’m the only one she has now since sarah isn’t in the house anymore.” he explained.
“she said that she would need a ride, only to come and find out that the party she’s talking about was taking place all the way over here on the cut..” you listened to him, rubbing shapes into his chest over his t-shirt. “i freaked. i know that kook parties aren’t any better, hell, they’re probably worse, but the thought of her being around people that she doesn’t even know, super far away from home at that, it didn’t sit right with me if i just let her party with these pogues.” you blinked at the ‘pogues’ bit, rafe seemingly looking over at you just in time.
“i just mean the rowdy bunch, you know? the ones who don’t care about anything else or themselves.” you nodded. he did have a fair point. god knew the cut had too many youth already walking down the wrong path. “so i told her no way i was going to take her and her friend, and it just escalated from there. i guess my dad heard us arguing, and as soon as the door opened she had pushed me, and before i knew it we were both getting chewed out by my old man.” you cracked a smile as you imagined him and his little sister getting lectured.
“so i kinda told on her first..” your eyes widened as you slapped his chest playfully, “rafe!” your boyfriend was nodding like he knew what you were going to say already. “i— yeah, it was wrong, but i didn’t want to give her the idea that i was going to let something like that slide, okay? it came from a place of concern.” rafe sounded like he genuinely felt bad for going that low. “and then me and my dad kinda teamed up on her and kept telling her why the cut was no place for her, and then she just exploded.” he shook his head.
“you teamed up on her?!” you sat up, still stroking his skin. “i know! i had it coming. once she had heard enough from me and my dad, she yelled; ‘i don’t know why rafe is making such a big deal about me wanting to go on the other side of the island, he’s the one who spends most of his time there with his pogue girlfriend!’” you didn’t take anything she said to heart, having been kind of forced to defend herself with the one thing she knew rafe was sensitive to. “you should’ve seen the look on ward’s face when she said that. everything switched, and then i was the one being yelled at.”
you swallowed thickly, your heart thumping so hard in your chest, you wondered if rafe could hear it. “.. what did he say?” your voice was barely above a whisper as you spoke. “nothing that i’m going to repeat. it was all bullshit. every single word.” you could imagine the usual ‘gold digger’ line, considering you had already heard the awful rumor one day when you were selling cookies at the country club. you hadn’t told rafe about that incident, nor did you plan to do so anytime soon. “but he proposed something.”
at this, you met rafe’s eyes. “proposed something?” you repeated, your mind racing with all of the possibilities. while the suggestion made your heart ache, you wouldn’t be surprised if he told rafe to break up with you, or anything else of that nature. rafe could see the gears turning in your head, his thumb rubbing reassuring circles into your soft flesh. “family dinner.” your eyes lit up, rafe’s heart twisting at the sight. “dinner?! really?!” despite everything rafe just told you, you still looked like you were over the moon to meet the same man who had just insulted you mere hours ago.
“yes, but there’s some things you need to know about my dad, alright? i don’t want you getting too excited now..” you calmed down a bit, fiddling with the pendant on your necklace. “i feel like deep down he knows that we’re serious about each other, and for that reason alone he’s going to say things in hopes of making you feel bad about yourself, or make you have doubts about what we have. i don’t want you to believe a single word that comes out of his mouth. he’s bitter, and for some reason he believes i should be miserable right alongside with him.” you nodded, taking every word of his in.
“he’s cruel, and that’s me being nice.” it tore rafe apart to see the sparkle you had in your eyes suddenly disappear, a pout gracing your lips as you looked away from him. “if he’s so terrible, why does he even want to give me a chance to meet him? or the rest of your family for that matter?” you were trying to understand where ward was coming from, but it was really hard to do that when he seemingly hated you for no reason. “he was saying some downright awful things about you, accusing you of having some kind of ulterior motives for being with me.”
you swallowed the lump in your throat. “this is about money, isn’t it?” rafe has never lied to you in the four months that you two have been together, and he wasn’t going to start now. “yes, this is about money..” you bit your lip, looking around your camper.
has it always been this small?
how have you managed to live out of this thing?
why would rafe be here if he had somewhere where he could actually kick his feet up at?
“see— that right there!” rafe pointed at you, “that look on your face, that’s exactly what he wants.” rafe cursed under his breath. you blinked as rafe brought you out of your thoughts. “what?” trying to play dumb with the one person who saw through you like glass wasn’t smart. “you’re overthinking everything right now. stop it.” you chin wobbled, your hands covering your face as if to hide from him. “oh, baby,” he pulled you close, cradling your head against his chest, “fuck whatever he has to say, alright? we’re not gonna give him the satisfaction of going—”
“no, i want to!” you interrupted, “if i have to sit through an insufferable dinner to show your dad that he can’t scare me off as easily as he might think, then that’s what i’ll do. we can’t prove him right with this, rafe.” you sniffled, using the sleeves of your cardigan to wipe your tears. despite rafe wanting to reassure you and tell you that you two can do something better with your time, he knew you were right. ward wanted you to fold under pressure, ward wanted you to feel like you weren’t good enough to be with his son, and right now you hated yourself a little bit for letting him.
“when does he want to do it?” you asked, looking up at rafe with glossy eyes and tear stained cheeks. “he didn’t say, but most likely as soon as possible.. i think we should just get it out of the way.” you agreed, reveling in the feeling of rafe embracing you. “try for tomorrow, it’ll give me enough time to make something.” rafe looked down at you. “you’re really gonna do that?” obviously you knew ward didn’t deserve any of your acts of kindness, but these were still first impressions at the end of the day. “of course i am! i’m sure he’s expecting me to show up empty handed..”
rafe watched as you crawled out of his lap, your head held high as you tied your apron around your waist. “well, i guess that means i should get back to work.” you couldn’t even tell that you were crying in the first place, rafe staring at you in awe as he got up from his spot on the couch. caging you in between his arms, you let out a shaky breath as rafe rested his chin in the curve of your neck. “there’s nothing that he could say or do that will ever make me feel differently towards you. you’re it for me.” you smiled softly. rafe knew exactly what you needed to hear, when you needed to hear it.
scooping a ball of cookie dough onto a spoon, you popped the sweet mixture into your mouth as you hummed. “how did you read my mind?” you turned around in his hold, his cerulean eyes boring into your own. “cause i know you.” he took the spoon from your hands, getting his own little serving. wrapping your arms around his waist, you ran your hands up and down his back. it was hard to be sad around rafe, especially when he gave you all of the comfort one could ever need. no matter what, he always put you above everything without you having to ask.
“you read me too, you know,” rafe’s chest rumbled against your cheek, “you always have.” he added, mind reminiscing back to the night your paths had finally crossed. he remembered every detail. from the way you took take care of him, to the way you handled him so delicately as if he’d break. in a way he was already broken, but you had so selflessly put him back together again, he was so blindsided by your love, he couldn’t believe something so beautiful really existed. “no matter what happens tomorrow, i’ll be by your side the same way you were for me, i promise you that.”
Tumblr media
after spending the next day worrying yourself to death and changing outfits at least three times before settling on a white dress and kitten heels, you and rafe were finally in his truck, a tub of brownies sitting in your lap. you had dressed rafe up in a white button down and jeans since he refused to wear something fancy just to sit in front of ward. “remember what i told you, alright? don’t believe a single word he says to you.” rafe couldn’t help but feel shitty for bringing you into all of this.
the whole ‘meeting the parents’ thing was supposed to be exciting, thrilling even. instead, you two were giving pep talks to each other like you were about to enter a warzone. it simply just wasn’t fair. as a way to try and ease your nerves, rafe put on some of your favorite songs, stroking your knuckles with his thumb as he drove you two across the island. “what do you think he’s going to say?” you peered up at him from through your eyelashes, squeezing his fingers as he spoke. “i have no doubt in my mind that he’ll be passive aggressive, ‘try to come off as the nice guy but still be a dick about everything.”
you swallowed thickly, jaw ticking as you looked out the window. you had no idea what to expect, the only thing you could do was be yourself, and hope that for ward that may just be enough. it wasn’t long before tanneyhill came into view, your stomach doing back flips as rafe pulled into the driveway. “you’re beautiful, baby, just wear a smile.” you leaned in, pecking rafe on the lips before he got down, rounding the truck and helping you out. he didn’t hesitate to carry the tub of brownies, his arm wrapping around your waist as he planted you on the ground.
“we’ll leave as soon as you want to, okay? just give me the word.” you nodded, allowing him to lead you to the front door. it was eerily quiet, not even the porch light was on. “do you think anyone is home?” you and rafe looked around, confused. just as rafe was going to get his own set of keys out of his pocket, the door opened and your heart fell to your stomach. “hi!” you were the first one to say something, the deafening silence becoming too much for you to bear. almost as if he was taunting you, ward let out a ‘hey, there!’ in the same high pitched tone.
rafe was already refraining from punching his dad in the face and you two had just gotten here. you caught on, ignoring the pang of hurt in your chest. “can we come in?” rafe asked as ward made no effort to move out of the doorway. “oh! yeah, what’s wrong with me?” ward scooted over, rafe taking your hand in his as he moved you to his side. “i didn’t make anything, so i hope you don’t mind that i got takeout instead.” rafe stopped dead in his tracks. ward didn’t have the decency to at least make something?
“i do hope that’s okay..” ward turned around, a smile playing on his lips as rafe’s fists clenched at his sides. glancing over at you, ward gave you a knowing look before you nodded. “of course it’s okay!” you chirped, giving rafe’s hand a shake. rafe felt like saying ‘fuck it’ and walking right back out the door. “it’s fine..” you whispered, giving him a little push so you two could sit down. ward looked irritated that he couldn’t get through to you two. plopping the tub of brownies down on the table, rafe moved your chair out for you, scooting you in before taking a seat next to you.
he sat close, his hand enveloping yours underneath the table. “uhh— where’s rose and wheezie?” rafe took it upon himself to grab the takeout plates, counting only three. “oh, i told them to get out of the house for a little bit. you know those two can shop.” you laughed softly while rafe scoffed. “some ‘family dinner’, huh?” ward narrowed his gaze at his son. “is there a problem?” oh, god, please not now. “yeah, there is,” rafe started, “you didn’t even take the time to make anything, which by the way, it could’ve been something quick and easy, you haven’t asked y/n for her name, and now you told rose and wheezie to leave when you knew she was coming over?”
you stared blankly at the table, your chest rising and falling as ward searched for his next words. “please, rafe.” you glanced up at him, your boyfriend shaking his head. “no, this is ridiculous.” he cursed under his breath. “so is this whole relationship.” and that right there was exactly what you were afraid of. it was as if the tension grew impossibly thicker, the energy in the room drastically shifting. “was this what you meant when you said you were going to give her a chance?” rafe laughed bitterly. “letting this pogue step into my house was me giving her a chance. she doesn’t even talk!”
you blinked away the tears, locking eyes with ward as you finally looked up from your lap. “thank you for inviting me into your home,” your voice was barely above a whisper as you spoke, “but if me being here stirs up trouble, then it’s best that i leave.” just as you and rafe were about to get up, ward stopped you. “hold it right there.” rafe was still moving when you froze. “my apologies if i made you feel like—”
“if?” rafe repeated, “you can’t say that when you’ve been acting like an asshole for the last ten minutes straight.” rafe was seething at this point, his cheeks flushed red as he pulled you up. “come on, you don’t have to deal with this shit, ‘over here being nice and he can’t even start up a real conversation.” ward laughed, the sound ringing in your ears. this is what he wanted. to scare you off, intimidate you into thinking that you didn’t have what it takes to sit here at this table. “no, we’re staying.” you sat back down, opening the takeout box.
rafe stared at you for a few moments, taking a breath before glaring at his dad. “nothing like a greasy cheeseburger and fries, right?” acting as if ward’s earlier comment didn’t affect you, he gritted his teeth as you smiled at him sweetly. “thank you for this.” you were way too nice for your own good. rafe pinched the bridge of his nose, half relieved that you caught on to what his dad was trying to do, and half pissed off that he made him contemplate leaving in the first place. just one more chance. ward only had one more chance to make you uncomfortable before he would be packing a bag and leaving with you until further notice.
“you’re welcome.” ward flashed you a fake smile. waiting for rafe to sit down, ward didn’t start asking any questions until he had both you and rafe’s attention. “i guess i can start off by saying thank you for coming, i wasn’t expecting you to go through with it if i’m being honest.” you and rafe knew that already. “where are you from, y/n?” you licked your lips, clearing your throat. “i was born here in kildare, and have been here ever since.” ward nodded, eyeing the tub of brownies. “i actually heard you were famous for your cookies,” he laughed, “are they really that good?”
you smiled shyly. “well, i wouldn’t say ‘famous’ per say, but i think they’re amazing, yes.” ward opened the container, taking a bite out of one of the brownies. you watched him intently. “oh my god,” he hummed, “yeah, these are amazing.” rafe blinked, unsure if you two were still in enemy territory. your chest bloomed with pride, your shoulders relaxing a little bit. “i’m sure you sell a lot of goods.. it only makes me wonder if you have a permit to distribute these..” and your wall was back up again. “i’m sorry?” rafe scoffed, tonguing his cheek as he leaned back in his seat.
“a permit, sweetie, you can’t sell food to the public without one.” you didn’t even know that existed. “uhm— well, i don’t use any nut products or gluten for that matter if you’re worried about someone becoming sick or having a reaction..” your hands were trembling, rafe taking notice right away. “you ought to get one.. ‘would be a real shame if someone reported you.” rafe took your hand in his. “oh, i wonder who what would be,” he rubbed your back reassuringly, “she’ll have one first thing in the morning, asshole.” ward laughed, holding his hands up defensively.
“woah, cool it with the names, son, i’m just looking out for the rest of the island.” you were trying your hardest to ignore the growing pain in your chest. “looking out for the rest of the island? since when do you care about anyone else except for yourself? you’re acting like she’s a serial killer or something.” ward shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest. “did i care about myself when i bailed you out of jail all those times? blowing money away on lawyers just for you not to show up to court the next day? was i selfish when paid for you to go to rehab not once, not twice, but three fucking times?”
rafe was waiting for ward to throw that in his face. “you wanna go there?” rafe’s jaw ticked, your eyes widening as he leaned forward in his chair. “have you ever thought that if maybe you got me help when i begged for it all those years ago that i wouldn’t have had a substance abuse problem at all?” you started to get the feeling that you were going to become the mediator here. “you’re a grown man, rafe, you’re fully capable of making your own decisions, and if you chose to snort coke to cope with your problems then that is fully on you.” you winced as if the words were directed towards you, your fingers squeezing around his wrist.
you knew this was hurting rafe. “did you know that, y/n? did you know he blew away all of his, my money, on drugs?” your jaw was set tight, your eyes meeting ward’s. he was trying to use this against his own son in hopes of making you run off since he couldn’t do it with his own selfish actions. “yes, i knew,” rafe looked down at you, “but do you know that your son has been clean for months now? he’s sober, ward.” at this, rafe felt his heart move in his chest. you never let that become a defining trait for him. addict or not, you saw him for who he truly was. you weren’t scared then, and you definitely weren’t scared now.
ward looked like he was at a loss for words. he hadn’t even taken the time to figure out and see with his own two eyes that rafe wasn’t on anything. gaze flickering over to rafe, ward inspected him carefully. long gone were the dark circles under his eyes, his face was more filled out, skin no longer dull, he had even packed on some more muscle over the last few months. he looked healthy. ward’s eyes watered for a mere second before he felt the familiar heat of rage swim through his veins. a pogue girl was able to aid in the shitshow that was rafe’s drug habits, and not him? you didn’t leave at the first sight of trouble.. but stayed?
“get out of my house.” it was quiet, the sentence alone making rafe sigh in defeat. “get out of my house!” ward shouted, slamming a fist down on the table before grabbing the tub with the brownies and tossing it in your direction. the container hit your arm with a thud, the small latch on the side scratching your skin. as if something snapped, rafe picked you up, shooting daggers at his dad as he took you out to his truck. “are you okay?” he hoisted you onto the passenger’s seat, his eyes wide with white, hot anger. “y-yes, i’m fine!” you reassured him, trying to soothe him before he did something he was going to regret.
“don’t go back in there.” you whispered, shaking your head as he draped the seatbelt over your torso, clicking it shut. “i’m just gonna get some clothes, alright? i’ll be right back.” he was frantic, pressing a kiss to your temple before shutting the door. you watched with worry etched into your eyebrows as rafe ran back inside. once you were out of his view, he didn’t give ward a chance to say anything before he pinned him to the wall by his neck. “if you ever do some shit like that again, i’ll fucking kill you.” rafe said through gritted teeth. “you understand that? you touch her, or even think about hurting her, it’ll be the last thing you do.”
it was in this very moment that ward knew rafe was never going to leave you alone. he was going to have to get rid of you himself. “you’re going to throw away everything i’ve built for you over a girl?!” ward shoved him in the chest, “we have a reputation to maintain, appearances that we must keep up with..” he explained. “appearances for who?!” rafe shouted, knocking over the chair inbetween him and his dad, “for figure eight?” he scoffed, “you think these people give a fuck? they would do anything to see you fall if it meant their family gets to be featured in a sorry ass newspaper article. it’s all bullshit, dad! how do you not see that?”
ward swallowed thickly. “bullshit?” he repeated. “this ‘bullshit’ is what pays for everything, this ‘bullshit’ is the only reason why you’re privileged. i came from the cut! i came from nothing so that you could have everything! how do you not see that?” ward threw rafe’s words back at him. “..so in your mind, you think that because i’m in a relationship with a pogue that i’m going to become one too? dad, this girl has elevated me! she has encouraged me, she has pushed me to be better. have you even seen the amount of money i’ve brought in since i’ve been with her? she pushes me to my limits and then tells me i could go further.”
rafe was on the verge of tears as he went down the list. “the same way you gave me everything, i want to do it for her, too. she’s not with me for superficial reasons the way you’re so adamant on her being.” rafe swallowed the lump in his throat. “the first night we met, she took me in and really cared for me, dad, blood and all.” he laughed bitterly at the memory. “i’m with her, like really with her. she may not be a kook, she may not have any family, but for someone who doesn’t have much, she’s rich. rich in a way that you can’t even begin to understand.” there was nothing that ward could say to rebuttal that.
“i’m gonna be gone for awhile. i’ll still be working from the work laptop, but don’t call me. don’t text me, don’t reach out to me. nothing. you’re a sad, miserable man, and right now it’s hard for me to believe that you’re even my dad.” rafe left him standing in the dining room, wasting no time as he shoved as much of his closet into a duffle bag that he could, grabbing both his laptop and its charger. by the time he threw his bag in the backseat, tears were streaming down his face as he punched the steering wheel. you didn’t say anything, except for a hushed ‘let’s go home, ray..’ before he nodded.
“yeah, let’s go home.”

“Okay- wait, so we literally just confess secrets to each other?”
You nodded, him furrowing his eyebrows as you started the camera but going along with it anyways.
“We listen and we don’t judge.” You spoke alone, looking to him, clearly missing the memo. “Oh, was I supposed to-“
“It’s alright,” you laughed, looking to him.
“Uhm… when we started dating I would stalk your instagram and I would scroll through like… all your ex boyfriends pages and stalk them.”
“Oh.”
“I thought we weren’t judging.” He replied with a small smirk.
“We listen and we don’t judge.” You both spoke, although Rafe was a bit slower and forgot he needed to say that part.
“When I first saw you, I told my friends that you looked like an evil frat boy.”
“Oh my god, was that when I had my hair slicked back and shit? That was like- three years ago.”
“We listen and we don’t judge.” You replied with a small smile.
“Okay, okay. Uhm… when you go to sleep, I go through all your pictures.” He spoke with a smile, your eyebrows furrowing.
“Wait, why are you looking at my pictures?” You questioned, the corners of his lips forming a smirk. “You dirty little-“
“We listen and we don’t judge, babe.”
“Right… I don’t even wanna know. But, anyways, when we take showers together, and you turn around, I take a little peak at your booty.”
His smile fell, looking at you while blinking.
“What?”
“It’s just so round.. and I wanna squeeze it-“
“You’re so weird.” He spoke, grabbing your phone and turning off the TikTok, you laughing at his reaction
“My followers are gonna adore this.” You spoke with a grin, grabbing it from his hands.
“Yeah… and then I’m gonna get shit from Topper and Kelc about how my ‘butts so round.’”
“Well, it’s better than you jerking off to my pictures, perv.”

Reader’s POV:
The stage is shining, the crowd alive with holiday cheer as you belt out the final notes of A Nonsense Christmas. The applause roars around you, their energy washing over you like a wave.
You smile, waving to the audience, but your gaze quickly floats over to the stage's edge as it has been all night… as it had been for weeks when you closed out the final song.
There he is. Rafe Cameron.
He stands tall, commanding, calm, and professional in a suit. His piercing gaze sweeps the room, assessing every face and every movement for threats, but never to you.
You poured every ounce of charm into that performance, thinking it might be enough to catch his eye. A wink here, a playful smile there, all subtle gestures to draw his attention—yet, nothing. His stoic expression doesn’t budge. His demeanor’s like trying to melt a glacier with a single match.
By the time the show’s over, the emptiness gnaws at you. The Netflix special had been perfect, yet you could only focus on how Rafe never even cracked a smile. None of the jokes landed… Not a single song was heard, it seemed. It was like he was listening to white noise.
The wrap party’s filled with people from the industry and familiar celebrity guests from the special. Your manager taps you on the shoulder throughout the night, making it impossible to get away: candid interviews, photos for the press, people vying for a moment of your time.
You float through the crowd in a Bob Mackie dress, dodging your manager as you see her walking toward you again. You smooth out the satin and fluff your hair nervously, searching for him. There he is. Your heart flutters as your eyes match his; your red dress shifts with each step, hugging every curve just right. Compliments come in every direction, yet your focus is drawn to the beautiful man at the bar…
He’s the definition of composure, sipping his water and scanning the room. Since the show, he’s popped a single button at the top of his white button-down shirt. Even that subtlety, just a taste of his tanned skin, sends butterflies swirling in your stomach. He glances away, his jawline sharp enough to cut glass.
Your heart beats faster, knees wobbling in your sky-high heels—a wavering you didn't even have during your performance. Your feet click along the marble floor, each step fueled by courage and desperation. The sound draws his eye to you.
"Hi," you say gently, feeling the heat of embarrassment pool in your cheeks as his jaw flexes. His nostrils flare as he draws a deep breath, looking almost annoyed.
Rafe looks down, his blue eyes locking on yours briefly, making your stomach fall. Your eyes widen, realizing that you don’t even think he’s ever truly done that before—constantly looking through you, around you, at your person, but never into your eyes.
“Ms. l/n,” he greets you, his tone polite but detached. The moment of attention you had has faded and gone.
"Call me y/n," I say, trying to bridge the chasm between you, craving that brief moment you had when his eyes were on you again.
He gives you a slight nod as he glances into the crowd. “What can I do for you?"
"Have a drink with me?" You ask fast, surprised that he even wanted to know, given his body language.
His lips press into two thin lines. “I’m working,” he replies, firm but not unkind. "It was a great show, y/n. You should enjoy the party. I'll be close by if you need me."
You bite your lips, eyes fluttering as he dismisses you before your gaze falls to the floor. The reaction was a cold slap to the face.
“Have a good night,” you whisper fast, giving him a small smile as your pride tatters. You turn around on your heels, your embarrassment weighing heavily on your chest as you push through the crowd, knowing you’re never quite out of his sight, needing to be far enough away that he doesn’t realize how deeply that cut.
By the party's end, you’re exhausted and mentally drained. Reaching for your coat, you head out into the night with your team and Rafe.
It’s a short walk, only a block from the venue to the hotel. Snow falls from the dim, sparkling in the streetlights as it dances to the ground below. You wrap your arms around your waist, holding yourself tight, trying to keep warm, feeling the heat of Rafe’s gaze on you still, just a few feet behind you.
You look over your shoulder, matching his eyes. He doesn’t flinch; his smile doesn’t brighten like yours when you see him. He looks away, turning his attention toward the busy street, surveying the scene as always. You scrunch your nose as heat burns behind your eyes, mortified that you’re letting yourself get so hurt by someone who couldn’t care less about you.
The hotel lobby is still except for the soft hum of Christmas music pouring from the piano. You walk quickly, your head down, desperate to be unaided; the sting of Rafe’s rejection, still piercing.
If he doesn’t want anything to do with me… I want to be alone. It’s clearly what you want. Isn’t it? You seethe as you walk a little faster, wanting to put space between you and everyone else.
“Miss. l/n,” you hear Rafe’s voice echo through the lobby as he moves a little quicker. You step inside the elevator, pressing the close button as your team closes in; Rafe shoves past the lot of them with a horrified look as the elevator door glides shut, closing you off from the rest.
You were so focused on getting yourself alone that you barely noticed the man who followed you in. It wasn't until the doors shut that you heard him shift next to you, looking down at you with a smile.
"Oh, shit… You're y/n, right?" The man asks, his voice far too casual.
"Mhmm," you hum, giving him a small, cautious smile as your hands start to sweat, the hair on the back of your neck standing straight.
"You're even prettier in person," he croons as he steps closer.
“Thanks-”
"How about a drink? Just you and me?"
You cross one leg over the other, stepping to the side as your eyes stay locked on the metal door in front of you. "No, thank you,” you respond as confidently as possible.
He smirks and chuckles darkly, rubbing his hand over his mouth as he turns toward you. "Oh, don't be shy, honey. I saw your concert at Madison Square Garden. I know what kind of woman you are," he mumbles—his breath, warm on your neck. The creep’s thick cologne radiates off his designer suit. He rests his hand on your lower back, drawing you in as the elevator dings.
The door glides open, but Rafe’s already pushing through, his broad chest heaving from sprinting up the stairs.
He looks at you, catching the worry in your eyes, nodding, letting you know you’ll be okay. His eyes lock onto the man, his stare dark and dangerous. “She’s not interested,” Rafe says, his presence lethal as he steps inside, placing himself between you and the stranger as he quickly ushers you out.
Rafe hangs back, stepping toe to toe with the businessman, whose eyes widen. The man chuckles nervously as he raises his trembling hands in mock surrender. “Just making conversation-”
“Don’t,” Rafe growls, his tone cutting with no room for argument as he slams his fist against the “hold” button, locking the door open.
“Hey, man. I don't want any trouble,” the guy croaks.
“This your floor?” Rafe asks. The man shakes his head ‘no’ fast. A smirk tugs on Rafe’s lips as he steps even closer, sweeping his black suit jacket to the side, showing off the handle of his gun, making the blood drain from your face and the man’s. The guy’s eyes lock on Rafe’s weapon, and he stumbles back, grabbing onto the handrail to keep from falling, looking up at your bodyguard in horror. “I asked you a fuckin’ question, bitch,” Rafe voice bellows, making the man cower in fear.
“No… Jesus. Calm the fuck down. I told you I’m not. Alright?” He rambles as he reaches around Rafe, going for the hold button. Rafe grabs the man’s suit jacket, slamming him back, his head ricocheting off the wall.
“Nah, you didn’t say shit. If I catch you on this floor. I’ll fuckin’ kill you. Understand?” The guy nods, but Rafe bangs him against the wall again. “Use your fuckin’ words, man. I’m sure you had plenty to say to her. Ain’t that right?” He asks as he steps even closer, getting in his face. The guy shuts his eyes, turning his cheek in fear.
“I understand,” he mumbles weakly.
Rafe shoves him into the elevator, smacking the hold button before grabbing your hand.
You look over your shoulder, watching the man scramble to the front of the elevator, pushing his finger repeatedly against the buttons.
Rafe’s hand tightens in yours, pulling you past your room and moving deeper into the hall. “You’re coming with me.”
Rafe reaches into his back pocket as his eyes dart around, pulling out his key card. His face, a storm of emotions.
He leads you inside, shutting the door quick before twisting and latching multiple locks. Rafe turns around, his fingers gliding through his hair nervously, pushing it back while his eyes flicker around the room.
“Why am I here?” You ask feebly.
"Because it's safer," he says shortly. “You’re safer with me. You know that!” Rafe raises his voice, quickly pushing out a deep, slow breath as he sees you flinch. “You’re—fuck. I’m sorry. You’re safer with me. Alright?” He walks past you, pulling a bottle of scotch from the wet bar.
Rafe pops off the top, mumbling in annoyance as he pours a drink. His hand trembles, making the glass click against each other. “Drink?” He asks, his voice dry and hoarse, tossing back one before you can respond, draining another in the tumbler as you give him a soft ‘yes.’ He mutters something again in frustration as he pours yours.
“What?” You ask curiously as you step closer.
”I said, ‘What the fuck were you thinking?’” He asks annoyedly as his eyes shift to yours, keeping your focus longer than two seconds.
"Why do you care, Rafe?” You counter before you can even think it through.
His jaw clenches, and he clutches the glasses in his big hands. His grip is so hard you’re waiting for it to pop.
“What do you mean, ‘why do I care?’” He asks, his eyes tightening in disbelief. “It’s my goddamn job to care. Are you fuckin’ serious?”
“It’s your job to keep me safe. It’s not your job to care about me ‘cause if it was, you’d be fuckin’ awful at in.”
"You don’t think I care?” He asks as he steps face to face with you, making your heart race.
“No. I don’t,” you stand firm.
“Do you think I don’t notice you, princess? ‘Cause I fuckin’ do,” he snaps. “Y/n, you’re all I see—every damn second of the day. But I can’t let myself think about you that way. Not when it’s my job to protect you. Not when it’s my job to keep you safe!”
"Why not?" You challenge, your voice shattering with emotion as you look up at him.
“Because if I let myself feel… if I let myself want you the way I do, I'll lose focus. And if I lose focus, you get hurt. And that's somethin’ I can't live with."
"Rafe…” You whisper, seeing the emotion all over his face.
"I see you, sweetheart," he says, his voice cracking. "Every time you smile, sing, and look at me with those eyes like I'm the only one in the room. Do you know how hard it is to pretend I don't feel it? To pretend I don't—"
You close the space between the two of you, stealing the words off his tongue, your lips pressing against his in a passionate kiss. He stands there for a moment, completely frozen, as your hands wrap around the back of his neck. You gasp against his lips as his arms comes around you, yanking your body into his, returning your kiss with a fire that takes the air out of your lungs.
Before you can get your feet underneath you, your back hits the wall—Rafe’s wet kisses stippling over your collarbone, trailing up your neck as his big hands squeeze and caress your curves.
“Rafe,” you moan as you pull him closer, his rich cologne mixing with his crisp drink on his breath, numbing your tongue and making your head spin. “I need you,” you whimper.
“You need me?” He groans hungrily like it’s all he’s ever wanted to hear.
”Please…” You whisper needily. “Do you need me-”
“Yes. Fuck… Of course, I need you,” he rasps as your hand presses against his stiff cock; his bulge is throbbing in his dress pants. He paws for the bottom of your dress, lifting it hastily to get at you.
You moan for him, melting into his touches as his fingers press against your soaked panties. He smiles against your lips between panting breaths, pushing your thong to the side. Your head falls against the wall as his fingers trace your slick folds, drenching his digits—your tongue swirling with his.
“I need you so fuckin’ bad,” he sighs as his fingers draw away; the man quickly fights himself out of his suit jacket as you pinch the zipper of your dress—the two of you stealing kisses as you strip bare.
Rafe dives for your lips again, his rough, ringed hands finding your cheeks, pulling your face to his as he walks you back to his bed.
Before you can reach it, he spins you around, pulling your back to his chest as you reach for a breath. His face nuzzles into your neck, his five-o’clock shadow scratching roughly against your soft skin as he peers out, admiring you in the floor-length mirror.
Your body heats up under his gaze as you watch his hands trace your figure through the glass. His gold watch catches the light as he twists his hand, his fingers disappearing between your thighs, making your head fall back on his broad chest.
Rafe’s rough fingers brush through your soaked pussy as he kisses along your neck, teeth scraping over the shell of your ear. “You don’t think I see you?” He asks, his voice husky and low, sending chills down your spine. “You don’t think I see how fuckin’ perfect you are, princess?” He groans as his other hand cups your tit, kneading your skin as you moan for him.
Rafe licks a line up the column of your neck, biting your skin, marking you with his teeth, making you whimper—your cunt throbbing with need.
He swirls his fingers over your puffy clit, pulling out moan after moan from your pillowy lips, your legs shaky and weak from his touch. “You don’t think I look at you and imagine what you look like when you cum?” He asks, the corners of his lips curling upwards at his words. “You don’t think I don’t think about how beautiful you’d look taking my dick, baby?” Rafe lifts his hand, turning your face so your lips find him again. “Never thought you’d be this wet, y/n. All for me…”
“All for you,” you echo through a breathy sigh as your lips brush over the top of his.
“I’m going to keep you safe. I’m going to take care of you,” he mumbles as he pushes two thick fingers in your soaked cunt, pumping them a few times as you grab his forearm for support, nails clawing into his skin. “Bend over for me, pretty.”
“Yes, Daddy,” you whisper.
Rafe sucks off your bottom lip before pulling back, guiding you to bend over in front of the mirror. You rest your hand on the edge, watching as he takes his fingers between his lips, sucking your taste off, letting his eyes roll back as his other hand squeezes your hip.
His hand falls lower, his lip bitten as he grabs his cock in his fist, gliding through your drenched slit before sinking in with a rough thrust. Your wide eyes match his before they roll back—Rafe’s fat cock stretching you wide.
He takes his time, letting you adjust to his size. His biceps flex as he pulls you as close as he can get, making you shudder and whine; your manicured fingers wrap around the mirror’s frame so hard your knuckles ghost white.
"Fuck, baby," he breathes.
Rafe’s toned hips pull back before he shoves them forward, eyes locked on your body, watching the way your breasts bounce with each thrust.
Your messy pussy wets his balls, dripping ever so slightly onto the hardwood floor. “Goddamn, baby,” Rafe hums, seeing it too, the two of you listening to the sounds of your slick cunt squelch as his thrusts crescendo.
“Feels so good,” you whine, arching your back, body clenching as his throbbing tip hits your g-spot again and again.
”Feels good? Fuck, princess. You like that?” He asks as his arm snakes around your hip, fingers finding your clit, swirling fast. Rafe shifts a little nearer, pushing you closer to the glass, your warm breath fogging up the mirror with each panting breath.
”I’m close…” You whine, making him groan. He pistons his hips into you, fingers dancing on your clit as your body comes undone, pussy pulsing around his thick length as he pounds you through your orgasm.
Rafe doesn’t stop fucking you through it, grabbing your shoulders, pulling you back, coaching you to bounce your ass back on his cock; your warm wet pussy meeting him thrust for thrust.
Rafe tugs you back to his heaving chest, pounding into you from behind as his strong arm wraps around your throat, the other dressing around your waist, holding you tight.
“Cum for me, baby,” he whispers against your neck with his eyes locked on you. “Wanna watch my pretty girl get off on my cock again.”
Your eyes roll back at his filthy words, teeth driving into his bicep, dampening your cries of pleasure; heavy eyes locked on his as you cum again. Rafe’s climax claims him as well, squeezing you tight as you ride out your pleasure together.
You gasp as he pulls out far too fast, the two of you looking in the mirror as his throbbing cock pulses between your thighs. You whimper as Rafe’s thick load drips out of your fluttering hole, landing his dick. “Look at that, huh?” He rasps before shoving himself in again, making your eyes pinch shut. “You’re even prettier when I drippin’ out of you, princess.”
He kisses your forehead, lingering for a moment as you giggle dizzily. “Fuck, Rafe,” you sigh in bliss, letting your body relax in his.
“Yeah? Felt good, baby?” He mumbles before kissing you tenderly.
“So fucking good,” you whisper.
The two of you walk to the shower—Rafe’s hand never leaving yours. He lifts you onto the counter as the water warms, slotting himself between your thighs, tilting into the counter as he smiles sweetly at you.
Your eyes rest on his… The most beautiful blue, and unlike before, his attention never leaves. You cup his cheeks in your hands, brushing his stubble gently before you move in for a kiss.
Rafe pulls away from your lips, resting his forehead against yours, breathing softly with you. “Princess…” He hums, his voice soft and serious.
“Yes, baby…”
Rafe smiles as that name leaves your lips, taking a laborious breath before continuing. “I’ll keep you safe in public, no matter what… That’s my job.”
”I know,” you whisper.
“I’ll do everything I’ve gotta do... But in private, we can take care of each other. That’s what I can offer you. It’s not perfect, but it’s real. And I’m hoping you’ll say ‘yes’.”
A slow smile spreads on your lips, the pressure lifting off your chest. “I guess I can live with that,” you whisper as your heart races with excitement. “But I’m warnin’ you, I’m needy. You might have to deal with me demanding your attention all the time,” you tease. Rafe chuckles warmly, wrapping his arms around you, pulling you to the counter's edge.
“Sweetheart, you have my attention. Every second. Of every day. Whether you think I’m watchin’ or not…” You lift your chin up, meeting his lips, feeling him smile against yours. “But, I’m lookin’ forward to moments like this the most.”
