Today is Friday 28-06-2024

Farewell to the mothers of martyrs in the Gaza Strip. As I write this post, massacres are taking place now in the area next to us, which is the Rafah highways, and the bodies are in the roads and ambulances cannot reach them. We are now in a state of displacement, danger is approaching us, and we do not have the basic necessities of life.

I hope you will look at us with compassion and humanity, and alleviate our suffering a little. Support and share our story on your page.

First, I lost my father due to the barbaric bombing, then my family, which consists of 12 members, became without a father. 💔😭

Then I lost my brother, who died due to malnutrition. And the lack of food in northern Gaza. 🍉😔

Then the occupation carried out violent bombardment in our area, which led to our house being severely damaged. Thus, my family became homeless, without a father, and without any source of income🙏🏼

Get to know Hashem's family

My name is Hashem from Gaza. I am 32 years old and my wife, Samar, is 27 years old. We have a child born in the eighth month of pregnancy. His mother was premature because of my wife's fear of war. My large family consists of 8 members: my father, mother, four male brothers and 2 females. My father died in the war due to a lack of medicine in hospitals as a result of the fierce war on Gaza.

My story began when we were displaced from our home in northern Gaza in mid-October 2023 after a letter threatening eviction, and then the house was targeted and destroyed. Between this Exodus and the current fifth Exodus there are many stories and sufferings.

We now live in plastic tents, which are thermal ovens, which are not suitable for living and do not provide the minimum necessities of life, in addition to the spread of epidemics and diseases, which puts our lives in danger.

Through this campaign, we are trying to collect enough money to meet our needs and get us out of the Gaza Strip safely. We ask you to stand by us and protect us from this severe danger.

nothing makes me more insane than the phrase "selling your body" btw. like was i not also selling my body at every other job i've had where i had to be on my feet all day, lifting boxes, working in a warehouse, etc. why is it that sex work is uniquely labeled as "selling your body" while every other job is sorted into another category, no matter how much that job might have a physical impact on your body. lmao.

I genuinely think that any change in behavior starts w telling yourself that your worst days, worst performances, just worst moments in general aren’t who you “truly are.” It’s all about unlearning any thought process that essentially chalks up traits you aren’t proud of to “this is who I really am” “in reality I’m lazy” “in reality I’m just a bad person” bc not only is that never true, but it impedes your efforts to try to do better as well. Anything we struggle with has roots in things like childhood trauma, thoughts you’ve been fed before, your upbringing…. but never that you’re inherently a bad person. What I’m learning this year is that a lot of us doing better & being better & improving really comes down to self-talk—to disavowing the very notion that deep down we’re simply bad.

In Gaza, we currently do not find the minimum requirements for human life, and we live a disastrous life that is devastating to humanity.😢

The painful scene before you expresses the extent of hunger we have reached in Gaza.😭

My family is part of this difficult scene, and this video is a small part of the suffering we live through daily.

I issue a call for help to every jealous and free person to share this pain with us, convey our suffering, and provide support in whatever way he can.
