the new clone high season intrigues me with all the art ive seen but the new character designs are so fucking atrocious that i dont know how id be able to sit through a single episode of it. like i don’t understand how you can watch this shit its just so god awfully ugly. sorry for being a hater but im truly not sorry because what the fuck is THIS

i couldnt even guess who this is supposed to be. u can do that with like all the old designs and when u Cant (like with joan, for me at least) the designs aren’t ATROCIOUSLY UNAPPEALING at the very least like this design makes me MAD its so ugly. the proportions feel wrong the bodys fucking stupid the clothes are SO UGLY the colors are SO BAD the eyes are SO SLANTED. WHAT THE HELL

the new designs have so many more details and layers. theyre much too detailed and different from the figures theyre based on to be recognizable or work in the style of this cartoon at fucking all. abes design works because he kind of just looks like abraham lincoln and the outfit is so simple and kt just WORKS. hes very tall and usually his nose is off the left side of his face evoking the god damn penny abraham lincoln is on. its simple and kt works. the only new design thats recognizable os frida khalo but her design is STILL TOO BUSY!!! AND HOW BIG THEY MADE THE UNIBROW IS SO GOD DAMN UGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT DOESNT WORK FOR THE STYLE !!!!!!!! RAUSHRGAHRHE

the new designs look like fucking total drama characters not clone high characters. UGHGHGGHGHGGH. the unique art style feels a bit abandoned and it sucks so much ughdhgrgeiebtjevrjegrjegtjrbrtknswkbfkenf. i dont want anyone to reblog this bc im too angry to word my criticism well. also i wrote rhis while kind of in a state (negative) so it feels too personal even thoigh im just mad at clone high lol

I love a good monster Jon design but just think THINK about how scary it is that he isn't. You met a fairly normal guy once and you told him the worst thing that ever happened to you. I feel like I should say since there's been a recent uptick in a lot of communities I'm in/see stuff from a lot of white people pretending to be Asian, but you are not welcome here if you are in anyway stealing from Asian cultures for clout or the aesthetics of it

This includes if you're white and you give your self inserts Asian names, I truly do not care if your f/o is from an anime, you should not be using an Asian name under any circumstances. I hate that whenever I see someone using an Asian name online, I feel like I have to start searching their account to see if they're actually Asian or just a white person who likes the aesthetic of it bcs far too many white people will use Asian names here just bcs it sounds cool, with no regard for the actual cultural meaning behind it. Meanwhile actual Asian people will be mocked for their names, or treated like their names are too hard to learn to pronounce, or discriminated against based on their names

Asian cultures are not a fun little costume for people to dress up with. They aren't just a nice aesthetic, they aren't just a thing you can borrow from bcs you think it sounds cool

I wonder how many Iranian lives that is in car accidents and cancer medicine. Every rocket shot by Hamas costs about 800$ to produce. By a very conservative estimate they averaged spending about 700,000$ a year between 2001-2021 just on rockets. They also spend about 300 thousand dollars for a kilometer of underground tunnels. They likely have about 800km. That's 240 million dollars. I'm not even counting other war spendings right now. I wonder how many parents wouldn't have had to wait for permits getting their children heart surgeries in israeli hospitals. I wonder how many impoverished young people could have received scholarships to become engineers and musicians and climate leaders and architects. I wonder what relations of mutual growth a thriving Gaza could have built with both Israel and Egypt. I also wonder how many disabled people won't receive financial aid, how many schools would go underfunded, how many people will die in understaffed hospital wards in israel this year because some rabid militarist decided this money is better spent killing people abroad to perpetuate the pointless cycle of retaliations. I'm also furious at all of this. And so fucking tired.
