Can we, in the future, have Stone blame himself for the events of Sonic 3?
I want him to reflect on having seen the manipulation of Gerald and the red flags with his own eyes and having stood back and allowed it, done nothing about it earlier. And when he did try to warn the doctor, it was already too late. He was too passive for too long.
And I want him to conclude that Robotnik's death was His fault.
I want him to decide to not be a passive observer anymore in his Journey to become the new Dr. Robotnik and the new Main villain, motivated by his guilt, but also by his devotion and want to continue Ivo's legacy.

Watching Sonic 3 only for Stobotnik was truly a strange experience. Like after my time around the sonic fandom I do get that people are going to be excited about Amy and Metal Sonic and Maria but I have no idea why. I don't get the references. You are screaming and crying I am quiet. No idea what is happening but the second they show Stone I am biting my can of pringles and SHAKING to keep it together.
You are cheering seeing the post credit scenes? I am sitting there, numb, with my mouth open, trying to keep my tears in bc of course I put thick eyeliner on and I don't want people to know I cried on my way home.

actually I think Eggman admitting that Stone was his friend was the perfect way to go. bro has not copped to an Emotion™ in years, he's not gonna go directly to confessing love, dying or undying. admitting that he felt anything for another human being was just enough to show he cares perhaps more than he says but not so much that it seems out of character
