I dont think his pride let him date someone ever. He stayed in the line of courting and flirting. Like really a lot. He just wanted to see if they were going to gain his affection or not. The persons im actually talking about is always... prideful like him. He never gave a chance to people like Diavolo. (So diavolo was his first in this category AHEM!) Loyals to noble, citizen to high society. It didnt matter to him. He flirted everyone who catched his attention (which is really hard...) and when it happened it just ended with some one night stands. He never felt love. He just liked them for fun, passion or just to... experience. Witches, sorcerers, demons, angels... it really didnt matter to him.

Personas like Mc was out of his lines naturally. His pride didnt even make him thought about it. But as his brothers started to be fond of you, he realised what he misses. The real sincerity he wants, the real experience he aches... that was the first realization of his love for you.

Mammon

He dated people that mostly like him. careless, luxury-loving, praise-loving and boastful... you know the starboys, stargirls, star people like 'amazing' as him. Models, actresses, actors, singers, idols... and even though he never dated a witch he had some one night stands. Sorry for bad example but until meeting mc, dating for him was like leanardo di'caprios love life 👋🏼😭 (HE DOESN'T HAVE THE AGE PROBLEM PLS)

The reason he fell hard was how he actually felt some really careness from mc unlike some fake praises or just you know... unnecessary exaggerated sentences. But with mc, he really felt like being listened. Being cared, being not put the role of some jerk.

Leviathan

None. Except you count his 3 months virtual lover lolol?? He was just jealous of his brothers and wanted to experience it but he just really felt like doing some lovers rp in that time. Even his brothers doesn't know this too.

Does he really have to explain? You always acted him nice. Never saw him as a key of something. You really loved to listen his yapping. And never judged him for a something that he actually screwed. Yoy accepted him as a friend, and he did too. But as some time passes... he realised he was in love with his true friend.

He never admits this too. But like a cat, he just loved to gain it. His social connections are everwhere so from witches to sorcerers, models to artists, lower demons to nobles he always got the attention he wanted. But like i said it was just some fun. A passion that lasts as long match. Thats all.

You accepted the challenge of peeling his barriers. And the first time you did... he was really angry. (The moment you declined his pact offer) he really didnt like to fail his achieves. But you didnt like it either. He loved that. But all aside, you found his existential crisis a solve. And you just did it because it became right to you. ... do you really need me to explain? All people. He tried every kind, sort, type, every! As long as he felt like a new kind of challenge, a new kind of lust and being worshiped. When i say everyone i mean it. From the devildom to human world. Even when he was an angel. He was just a bit more careful and less playful then.

Not being able to charm you? Challenge accepted. Being x2 times AND emotionally charmed by you? Take it back. TAKE IT BACK! He always loved to being attached not to attached to someone! But as he knows you more, he realize this is also a new kind of feeling! He always thought live long loves were going to make him so bored and prisoned at some point. He probably always made fun of this topic like an emo boy 🥲 whenever he felt some urges like lust he just had some one night stands. He was so focused on his self hatred side and that made him always look down on love.

And now he also hates about himself for this too. He always felt guilt how this way of thinking made him hurt you. How someone like you, just a human, free him from lucifer and... his own prison. He did it for learning duty. As the prince of devildom he must know how to court a lady, gentleman or anybody. So he really courted lots of person. He was really kind to them. Even though he was forced to do so with some of them (ahem politic reasons) he never dropped his perfect act. But problem was here. It was all act. He never felt like saying the things he actually said. Or when he spent the night away with them he always felt so weird after with it. Still knowing he was going to marry a demon someday and going to do that anyways, he did not think so much on it.

But never he did think he would fallen love with a human that he invited. At first he really tried to deny and reason himself. Like even though he did break all the 3 barriers and connected them, this didn't gave a permission to have you. Still, he didnt care. He always acted like a good prince and he still does. Doesn't he deserves some really sincerity. Doesn't he deserves your kind actions. Even if its a little bit, doesn't he deserves you?

Barbatos

This mf... bro is the kind of parent that did all kind of things but never let his son doing it. I mean it. When he was using his power freely he did lots of sins about love. Breaking hearts, seducing someone taken to have it himself, then leave them to start a new adventure... man was the owner of the song: heartless. But since he started to serve as diavolo's butler, he changed all of his personas about this. Even his one night stands was so rare. And he is acting like a such a parent about this too. Like when diavolo starts to say about his new courtship bro is yapping like "may i meet them first my lord?" . If there was a thing that didn't changed about him, this was how slowly he would give himself to someone.

And this happened with you too. When he sensed your interest, he hid himself pretty well. But the trouble was, Barbatos realized that your interest was more of a pure curiosity than the curiosity he had experienced in the past. In fact, many people had approached him like this in the past. The difference was that now he had really changed. Goodness, did many year let him forget what was exciting about this... but no. This was so much better. Because for a first time, he wanted to give in really. For a first time he wanted to last it long. Yes he changed a lot. And he wished he did it sooner.

Solomon

I do not think in game he had 700 wives and 300 concubine BUT i think he dated some people for benefits. Like more power, knowledge, etc. Also he had a loong life as human so im sure he had sone interests. But he never felt... the one for him. He just felt nice, giggly, also got the things he wanted. Thats all. "It was nice while it lasted" is the quote for him.

At first he was amused how every brother started to fall for you one by one. This got him curious. He actually thought you were like him and always found a way to charm someone to make them do the things you wanted. But he didn't expect you to be REALLY get attached to brothers because you love them. And it was this easy for you. He was all alone in his thoughts and goals almost in every inch of his life. But you came, didn't question him, just wanted to help him with his loneliness like you did the brothers. You didn't even asked more from him but he wanted to give you more. So he ofdered you to be his apprentice. For him, you were a diamond he had been searching in underground for decades.

how to isolate and grow⋆.ೃ࿔*:･💶

quick disclaimer : when i say "isolate" i dont mean the negative connotation of self isolation where you push everyone away, i mean the laying back and rly focusing and tapping into urself BY yourself.

accessibility : limit people's accessibility to you, or narrow down how many people you allow to access you. ur energy is SACRED ur time is a privilege. its important that ur no longer looking for outlets in people.

during this time of stepping back and being super picky with how and who u spend ur time with its the perfect opportunity to separate urself from the toxicity that some people in ur life might bring. in that same breath, its easier said for friends then it is for family members because when u think isolation ur probably thinking of being a home-body which is a part of it. but if ur home is whats making u sick then try and spend time AWAY of the home to do whatever u need to do.

self awareness and responsibility : take a moment and be truly objective with urself. practice having the difficult conversations with urself. u know ur goals, but are u the person that can have those goals? and if not, how can u get to become that person.

this is also the time to address things that you've been sweeping under the rug. address anything thats starting to become a problem and address bigger problems in ur life. we wanna be able to take responsibility for ourselves and PROBLEM SOLVE. be super clear on what u wanna focus on during ur self isolation period and WHY you are choosing to do this.

find a mentor : find someone who resonates with you, whether it be online or in person, who is living the life that YOU wanna live or living a life similar to one that u wanna live. u dont have to have just one mentor, it can be multiple mentors for different aspects of ur life that u wanna improve. ur mentors dont even need to know you honestly, just someone u look up to

detox ur brain : mental diet. mindset is EVERYTHING as you know if you've been consuming my content lately. everything and i mean EVERYTHING begins in the brain. the thoughts that u think today will be what u experience tomorrow. speak to urself nicely, throw away old thoughts that dont align with ur dreams and replace them with positive ones thru repetition, fixed attention and practice

do brain dumps before u go to bed, its good to get out all of the thoughts in ur head before u go to sleep, out of ur brain and onto a piece of paper or something else in general. it doesn't have to be in a negative connotation either, write down ideas that pass thru ur head, goals, inspirations etc.

clean out : anything that u tend to cling to, whether its devices, drugs, drinking etc. practice fasting from it. it doesn't have to be extreme, just taking a break from it REGULARLY will improve it so much. an analogy i like to use for gradual change like this is with a rubber band. if u stretch the rubber band as far as it can go too quickly then it'll break, however if u gradually stretch the rubber band little by little, you can stretch it super far and it won't break.

experimentation : while ur self isolating this is the perfect opportunity to experiment with ur physical. dye ur hair a color that you've always been wanting it to. grow ur hair a couple inches, take extra good care of ur skin, experiment with different clothing styles. become ur own MUSE.

Mondo Owada

To become friends with Mondo is a bit problematic at first, there was the problem that Mondo didn't understood well what you tried to tell him at first due your shyness, not speaking in a high or steady voice used to irritante him and end up coming across as rude, however with some time and patience you two can actually become really close friends since no matter how intimidating Mondo may look like he is actually kind-hearted

Even after becoming close friends Mondo sometimes still accidently yell at you when your shyness makes dificult for you to speak up or stops you from doing something you actually want to do, but not because he is mad at you but because he feels frustrated, he feels irritated by seeing you struggle so much because he wished he could do more for you, after all, thats what friends are for

Thats why when you end up hidding behind him out of shyness he feels flattered and even proud! The first time have caught him out of guard to the point that he had to ask you what you were doing but when the dots connect in his mind he feels a protective instict inside of him

There is a unspoken deal with you and Mondo where he is fine with you hiding behind him for whatever reason you want and he will not ask and simply shield you, he just feels proud and somewhat comforted that you feel so safe with him so he just let you do it and simply ask you about it when you are more calm (not always tho, once he get used to it he simply dont ask your reasons)

It doesn't matter if you hide because you are feeling shy, overwhelmed or even scared Mondo will shield you without a second thought, although if you feel scare he will get even more protective over you but aside from that he will just make sure to cover you so you can have a moment to try to calm down, he doesn't really mind and don't mentionate, but if you do he will get a little embarrassed (specially if you try to thank him, he just grow even more embarrassed and insist that is nothing you have to worry about before trying to change the subject)

Peko Pekoyama

Peko is a person who is dificult to aproach thanks to her intimidating appariance but she is actually incredibly caring and even quite gentle, she may have troubles making friends but that doesn't mean she doesn't want them

In all honestly Peko doesn't really mind much the fact that you are shy, it doesn't bother her and simply tries to be patient with you when your shyness hinder your freedom to communicate, still it is quite the surprise for her to be able to become friends with someone so shy but she doesn't question it and simply enjoy being with you

Peko simply gets used to your shyness and even become quite protective over you, she sees herself as a weapon and her sword exist to protect the ones she care for, so once you grow close enough to be considerate a friend then her sword will be there to protect you too, Peko herself has the impulse to step infront of you whenever you feel treated or overwhelmed so when you end up hidding behind her it isn't taken as something weird but at the same time it is something incredibly meaningful for her

Peko has the mindset to protect those who she cares for but knowing that you actually know that she is there for you and even relay in her when needed it is quite comforting to her, you have put your trust on her and even tell her indirectly that you feel safe with her, so she will not betray that trust for nothing in this world

Actually it can be a little problematic hidding behind her because Peko takes it too serious, even if it was just because you were feeling too shy and needed a moment to yourself now Peko is acting almost like a bodyguard, making sure no one gets too close and that no one bothers you while you can calm down, and if it is because somehow you feel threaten then she is too close to take her sword and get into a fight

Peko takes it so serious that when you finally feel more calm and are ready to come out again she makes sure to ask you how are you feeling and if you are sure, and even when you confirm she still keeps an eye on you just because she is worried that something really bad have happened, she will apologize for overreacting if you point it out but will also shyly admit how happy she is to know that you trust her that much

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

Despite being quite intimidating and short-tempered Fuyuhiko actually is kind hearted and caring, the one who is the most surprised to end up having a shy friend is Fuyuhiko himself but once you two grow closer he makes sure you know he is there for you and that he appreciate your friendship (even if he is too embarrassed to say it out loud)

Because of his family and the way he have been living his entire life Fuyuhiko constantly takes your shyness as innocence wich only lead him to want to protect you, he just sees himself as being so diferent from you that he wants to protect that innocence from the cruel world he knows, so even if he tent to yell when he feels embarrassed or quickly get irritated whenever thanks to your shyness you have dificulties to speak or do some things he is actually trying to help you to gain more confidence on yourself

Even so Fuyuhiko doesn't actually wants to change who you are, he just try to push you a little to gain more confidence to speak up for yourself just so you aren't defensless in the world, and yet he has no problems to speak up and even defend you whenever you are having troubles due your shyness

The first time you end up hiding behind him because you felt overwhelmed and just couldn't get out of your shyness or even because something scared you Fuyuhiko is in shock, its just that a lot of thoughts are running throught his mind to even be able to say something and yet he would snap quick and yell at anyone or anything that is bothering you (before scolding you for simply hidding, specially behind him)

Despite his initual reaction it isn't like Fuyuhiko mind it much, the more it happen the more he grows used to be your shield to whatever is bothering you, and he even end up reaction pretty defensive whenever you hide behind him, he just grow used to simply don't say anything about it until he made sure no one is looking or you two are alone to look back and ask you if you are alright, he cares for you and always gets worried whenever you hide behind him but doesn't want to admit it in front of others

Also, he will not admit it out loud but the fact that you feel so safe with him to the point of hiding behind him is quite comforting to him, it makes him feel like he is doing something good, if you trust him that much then he is not that bad

tunaaaaa I've been reading ur Childe Thing sooo much that I've been thinking of I Love Amy aus nonstop. its a problem. in honor of bsd s4 im gonna rapid fire a couple out for the Bsd Boys!

lets talk dazai. I feel like this could go a lot of ways with him. like, if its ada dazai, you probably don't really get the sense that something is kinda off with him until you're a bit too deep to back out. he seemed so sweet when you first met- fuckin weird, but sweet! no harm in trying to help him win over a crush, right? for pm dazai, you obviously know hes fucked in the head the second you meet him, so you agree to help him out of a fear of what he might do to you if you dont rather than a sense of altruism. either way, its kinda hard to notice him getting a little overly-attached to you just cuz of how naturally obnoxious and clingy he is. even if he starts to escalate you might not get it cuz hes pretty fast and loose about LITERALLY kidnapping you and tying you up in his apartment/mafia holding cell right off the bat (gets very pouty about you "ignoring" him). doesnt help that hes so out of touch with his own emotions he probably doesn't even know he has a thing for you for a whiiile. trust me tho, being nice to him and taking care of him when hes sick or injured WILL wear him down. you'll only kind of get it when you try to give him some new pointers on his crush and he seems to just get? annoyed? mutters something about you talking about someone else while you're SUPPOSED to pay attention to HIM. or when he keeps being weirdly affectionate with you in full view of X when hed usually forget you exist as soon as he sees them. or you woke up chained to a chair (again) but this time hes perched in your lap and scolding you about avoiding your "boyfriend" before shoving his lips against yours. couldve been any of these occasions really.

cant BELIEVE I didn't think of gogol the first time I talked about this this is almost EXACTLY what yes doing to sigma rn. when this fuckin 6'2 clown terrorist traps you against a wall and starts questioning about why you were talking to "his darling", you are 10000% sure you're gonna die. almost gives you whiplash how fast his tone changes once you convince him you have NO interest. all smiles all of the sudden, picks u up under the armpits like a cat to right ur posture and pats you on the head, declaring that you will be his magicians assistant for a while! you do not have a say in this, if you'd like to keep your skin. while you feel bad about aiding and abetting this stalking case, you get the sense that hes. not ever gonna actually make a move. kinda just Wants To Stalk. goes on about how he cant let himself be tied down like that (whatever that means). he does talk about just murdering his darling a lot but you've managed to convince him that thats unnecessary baggage connecting them to him so hopefully that keeps him sated until his goldfish-esque attention span finally moves him onto a new target. and it does! the problem is that its you. I think that once he realizes he likes you, he's just gonna vanish. poof gone. hes had a lot of fleeting obsessions with ill-fated darlings before, but youre something new. hes never actually gotten to know someone before! ugh. hes caged by his feelings for you, but the despair hed feel from killing you would be a cage all its own! frustrating!!!!! maybe if he just leaves and never thinks about you ever again this'll just go away like all of his other crushes. doesnt work. expect him back in a month, snuggling into your neck and babbling inane about having missed you. he tied you up again so youre just gonna have to let him do that. its fine youre used to this with him.

this is best read with a male reader (to keep it consistent w i love amy) but there's no pronouns used or descriptions for reader, so do as you like. also, reader makes morally questionable decisions :>

(pm) dazai is to be avoided at all costs. that was the rule you put down for yourself after witnessing one of his very public threats to some poor pedestrian who had bumped into him. the dramatic coat, the blank expression, the natural ease with which he handled the weapon in his hand—everything about him was just...alarming.

however, despite all your efforts, he's obstructed your path home with a deadly glare and a hand in his pocket.

according to dazai, he did not appreciate your recent conversation with X, (as he claimed, they were too popular to spare most people more than a few friendly greetings—so why were you having a full-fledged conversation with them?) who were you, even, to get in his way? you sputter out some excuse, some explanation as to why he misunderstood the situation and it was all just work-related, and fortunately, he seems convinced, at least enough to relax his hold on you and shift the blaring malice in his stance to something less frightening.

obviously, you couldn't refuse when he offers you what he calls a mutually beneficial proposition. you help him get closer to X, and he won't kill you! win-win, don't you think?

the thing about dazai, you soon learn, is that despite the murderous energy he gives off, he's painfully annoying, more so than frightening. it almost feels like you're dealing with an obnoxious child, with how he's constantly whining and tugging at your sleeve and complaining about how useless you're being.

and it also makes you wonder if he's ever really had a friend, because he's got some strange expectations for you. he's all too possessive, too paranoid, and expects you to be perfectly fine with it. you consider telling him that he's not supposed to hold you hostage every time he thinks you're spending "too much time with someone else", but after the 4th attempt, you've understood that there was no getting to him. at least he stopped with the threats to your other friends (well, he promised you that he'd stop), and that seemed like the only thing he was willing to compromise on. he doesn't ease up on the breaking-into-your-room-to-visit-you stunt, either, especially when you're "ignoring him". despite all that, maybe out of some form of pity, you still help him out. you drop off food when he's sick and try to explain that imprisonment is not the key to a healthy relationship. you hang out with him even if you're terrified of all the mafioso you come across when you visit the hq with him, and after all of it, you're mostly convinced that he wasn't going to kill you anytime soon. in fact, the two of you seemed to be building an unusual friendship.

but when he comes to visit you one day when you're sick and actually knocks on the door and texts you beforehand, you tell him that this would be the best way to approach X if he ever hears that they're sick. though you're expecting some excitement, or some self-satisfaction for improving a little, instead of looking excited, dazai looks frustrated. for the first time, he looks genuinely...upset. and when he asks you why you can't appreciate that he was looking out for you and not X, you're left at a loss for words. you're not sure if this was a sign that he was starting to learn not to cross your boundaries or a warning that he was beginning to like you a little too much

and things only get stranger. he becomes more observant, asks you more questions about yourself rather than X, and even starts holding your hand in full view of X. when you mention that X was really looking forward to a new movie coming out and that he should try to ask them out, he gets upset by your suggestion, grumbling about you paying more attention to X and only caring about them instead of asking him if he wants to see the movie with them. so, unsure of how to respond, you echo his question. he beams at you and happily declares that he only wants to watch the movie with you.

somewhere along the line, it happened that dazai himself started to realize just how much he liked you, and he spirals out of control. the already overwhelming physical contact turns more intimate, with dazai holding your hand at every possible moment, pressing himself as close to you as humanely possible without squeezing the air out of you, and sitting on your lap whenever the opportunity presents itself. he stops responding to anything that isn't an endearing pet name and introduces himself as your boyfriend. X seems to be eradicated from his mind, as well as anyone that wasn't you, though it feels as though you're the only one that has a problem with this change. dazai takes to it naturally, seamlessly inserting himself into your life.

"what's wrong?" dazai's sprawled across your lap with the biggest grin on his face, the remote in your hand long ripped away by him, "come give your boyfriend a kiss~"

you've...heard of fyodor. it was more overhearing whispers shared between people, but the mention of his name seemed to intrigue everyone who heard it. you've heard that he was a mysterious man who walked into the city one day and never left, and you've heard that he was the owner of an expensive casino. you've even heard that he had a tendency to stand on top of rooftops at night, but you've heard tons of variations and rumors. one statement, however, rang true in everyone's ears.

fyodor dostoevsky was taken with X.

that was putting it lightly—obsession was exactly what it was. though X was clearly unaware of what was being said, because, as they assured you one day while you walked out with them, fyodor was just a friend! and he was a very interesting guy, with some strong beliefs. he wasn't some criminal mastermind! all he did was keep to himself. and that, as they confidently declared, wasn't a crime.

but you had reason to not believe X, after all, it wasn't them at the receiving end of a laser focused gaze and a creepy smile. (it scared you so much that you ran home and ordered a burglar-proof lock for your door the same night) and it also wasn't them who sat down across from you while you were having your breakfast in the café nearby. anyone would have been better than who it was.

"hello," fyodor waves a fork at you, his fingers positioned gracefully on the silver cutlery (and of course, you think bitterly, he was evil and beautiful. just your luck), "i hope you can spare me a few minutes."

he wasn't asking, but you melted at his soft tone. for all people loved to talk about him, why hadn't they mentioned how hard it was to take your eyes off him? awkwardly, you take another bite of your food, nodding at him.

he asks you about X, though it's more of an interrogation disguised as casual conversation. he easily waves around his fork, smiles at you with an unnerving expression, and stares at you a little too long. by the end of it, your food is finished and his fork is placed neatly back onto the table and you've sustained no injuries. better yet, he finally seems to have (reluctantly) removed your name from his hit list.

what you weren't expecting was for him to start seeking you out. you get strange looks when fyodor waits outside your workplace with an umbrella—your umbrella—leaving you with no choice but to walk with him unless you wanted to get home soaked. he lists off X's habit and asks you to add on to his list, ignoring your reply of "that's just creepy". he tells you that he wants to respect X's privacy by not using cameras to spy on them so will you answer him or should he use the cameras? and what else could you do then?

at the very least, he didn't seem serious about attempting to kidnap or imprison X. he seemed fascinated by them, if anything. like he was...studying them. being with him wasn't as bad as you'd though, no matter how much you hated to admit it, despite the foundation of this friendship was built on how amusing he found X. if he was in a particularly good mood, he'd even offer to help you out with your struggles in the pursuit of love. his ideas, however, were all sure to land you behind bars with a retraining order to boot. when you voiced your opinion to him, he only smiled and told you that he knew a thing or two about breaking out of a prison cell, much like he was recalling upon a fond memory.

the only good thing about this strange arrangement was that fyodor was really nice to look at. there was something mesmerizing about his every action, even the slight quirk of his lips or the way his hair fell on his forehead. the ease with which he slipped on his hat (which, by the way, what was with all his not-weather-appropriate clothing? was he not sweating?), and the commanding air around him. so while he spoke seriously about X and his distaste for most of the human population, you tuned him out and focused on admiring his pretty eyes and how his lips wrapped around his fork and—ugh, you were starting to sound as creepy as him. but honestly, you had a feeling he already knew that you found him attractive. fyodor was far too good at reading people, far too perceptive to let something as obvious as your attraction to him slip.

your mistake was foolishly believing that you'd be safe as long as you didn't act on those feelings.

it felt strange, however, when he started reaching your usual table first, having already asked for your go-to meal and watching with thinly veiled delight as you stared down at the hot plate. and it's your coworkers now that get stared at, your friends who get the silent threat of a fork pressed against smooth skin, and you that everyone whispers that fyodor dostoevsky is taken with.

the meaning behind his increasingly strange behaviour doesn't really hit you, not until you've bumped into X again, who you haven't seen around in a while.

"i see that you and fyodor are becoming good friends now," they grin, "i'm almost jealous of how quickly you warmed up to him."

long fingers reach to caress your cheek before a perfectly poised hand places itself on your shoulder. fyodor's unmistakable voice replies in your stead.

"we're friends? is that what you've heard?" fyodor dips his head down to lock eyes with yours, "why don't you correct them about that, darling?"

you should have trusted sigma when he told you that nikolai gogol was bad news. as he clarified, so bad that, coincidentally, the ministry of justice hq was moved away at least by two states when nikolai came to visit.

but how were you to know that he was in love with one of your acquaintances? and how were you to know that his idea of love was this frightening? just when you were making your way back after a lukewarm conversation about work with X, you were slammed up against the wall by a person with a top hat and a coat and an honestly terrifying expression. then nikolai, as he later introduced himself, started grilling you with questions, ruthlessly asking about why you were with X and why did they smile at you and where does your family live, after which he happily told you about his many previous experiences with torture and how he would love to show you.

you're not sure what convinced him to let you go, whether it was your trembling legs or your teary promises that you had no interest in X in that way, but here you were now—alive, terrified, and offered the position of 'magician's assistant' (though the magician himself refused to tell you why the position was open for so long) and all it took to land the increasingly strange job was to talk to X and listen to nikolai threaten to torture you in graphic detail.

(among all the crazy people you had seen around here—that so-called 'world's best detective' who snatched your bag of candy right from your hands, that other person who started doing push-ups in the middle of the road, and someone giggling holding a bag of lemons by the port—you thought that nikolai definitely fit right in. not that you were going to tell him that)

while the position wasn't exactly what you wanted, nor were you too keen on spending more time around nikolai, something about the glint in his uncovered eye and the hand gripping your shoulder told you that you really wouldn't want to reject his offer. contrary to what you may have assumed, assisting nikolai only meant becoming a partner to his criminal activity, which revolved around stalking X, talking to them to find out all the information nikolai can't get by stalking them, and stalking them even more to find out any more details that neither of you could get. (you've considered helping out as much as you can, leaving hints in the form of obscure drawings of nikolai and danger symbols, but later, when you catch sight of X waving to him, you realize the message did not come across the way you intended it to)

fortunately for them, (and for you. at least now, you won't be behind bars for assisting in abduction) nikolai seems to have no interest whatsoever in pursuing them any further. sure, he keeps books filled with information about X, and buys their favorite drink alongside his order, but he doesn't seem to want to do anything more.

while you could care less about why he does whatever he's doing, already chalking it all up to the fact that he was off his rockers, nikolai decides to enlighten you all the same. when he excitedly rambles on and on about freedom and feelings and why X must now die, you pretend to listen, never actually telling him that nothing he said made any sense to you. still, after insisting that he won't be very free behind bars either and that if he really didn't want to be tied down by his feelings, he should actually distance himself from them instead, it appeared that you finally got him to understand, and he hesitantly agreed to listen.

for the most part, everything is great after that. your life returns to normal, with no top hat wearing, cane wielding magician in the vicinity, and no more having to invade someone's privacy. and it was great! really! even if it was a little bit boring without nikolai's spontaneous plans (maybe that time in the amusement park was pretty fun, even if the only reason you had to go was because X was going there with someone else, much to nikolai's horror). there was something both unsettling and addictive about the crazy adventures nikolai swept you on, though it was for the best that he disappeared.

but then nikolai came back…acting a little odd.

his clinginess and a sudden desire for physical affection set off alarms in your head, though he acted like this was perfectly normal. at first, you told yourself that this must be some new jealousy plot—maybe he got this idea from a tv show he watched over his 'break', but he hadn't asked you if you wanted to be part of this ploy (not that he ever did, really).

and your suspicions only grew when he refused to let up on the act, holding onto you as if his life depended on it. his trips with you became increasingly frightening, and his grip on you increasingly tighter. he takes his new position by your side, not at all focused on X anymore, and instead observes you with the same look that was fixated on X not too long ago.

it only hits you that you've become his new target when you find yourself tied up to a chair, with him seated right in front of you with his face up to yours. the exact scenario you convinced him not to put X through.

"your advice sucks, by the way," he pouts, "i tried staying away but i couldn't stop thinking of you! don't be too upset, alright? we can have even more fun now that we're together!"

in terms of psychoanalysis i’m really going all in on james wilson ocd diagnosis.

i personally interpret his behaviour in relationships - being drawn to needy people, leaving when he feels he’s not needed anymore - as due to a hyperinflated sense of responsibility, something people with ocd have to really battle with to approach their relationships healthily and prevent codependency. you see someone with a problem and you physically can’t walk away, because seeing it and not getting involved feels like neglect. long post, more below the cut.

i interpret it this way - instead of say, him being drawn to needy people purely because he likes playing saviour - because i think a lot of the time, especially with his brother, wilson actually experiences quite a lot of anxiety over taking care of others. i think he feels obligated to do it as averse to fulfilled by doing it, which is why he struggled so hard to support his brother and carries that guilt almost his whole adult life. you can see this in amber too - he wasn’t happy at the prospect of buying her the mattress she liked to make her feel cared for. he was extremely nervous about it, afraid to make the wrong decision and make her feel bad. he is constantly grappling with this intense motivation to be a 'good' partner, a 'good' friend, a 'good' doctor, a 'good' person, and it comes across as an intrusive and obsessive preoccupation with morality to me more than anything. he takes antidepressants because of his job, that feels more like obligation to be a saviour to me than fulfillment from helping people.

i feel like wilson is drawn to neediness because his brain tells him he HAS to stay or something bad will happen - like it did with danny - but when he realises his partners/friends dont need him anymore, he leaves not because he doesn't feel fulfilled anymore but because he realises he doesn't actually like the person. he was staying with them out of obligation, and once that obligation fades there really isn't much reason to stick around. this is also supported by the fact that bonnie says wilson's pattern isn't to initiate relationships - he kind of... falls into them and gets stuck.

i also think that even though house and wilson's relationship is mainly built on love, this also plays a pretty big role in it. but it works for house. house is perpetually needy, and wilson is perpetually obligated to be his saviour. wilson is constantly there for house, even when he doesn't want to be, even when house tells him to go away, because wilson is his only friend and house can be legitimately dangerous which probably dials any obsessive-compulsive behaviour to 11. because if wilson isn't there for house, there actually is a chance something bad will happen. but house also acommodates wilson in their living situations, and he doesn't need coddling which is probably a bit of a relief. wilson doesn't need to tread on eggshells around house because no way is house ever actually going to leave. house also encourages wilson to do things for himself for a change instead of worrying about everyone else, which helps him break the cycle a little. people with ocd want control to feel stable, but house perpetually undermines that control which stops the unhealthy behaviour from manifesting. it's a real mixed bag with him.

other evidence i've collected that supports this interpretation: wilson has hinted-at hoarding tendencies with useless items his patients give him, he has a proccupation with health thats a little unusual even for a doctor, he has an obsessive approach to his appearance, he is such an extreme perfectionist that sam makes fun of him by saying he's 'being so ocd', he cannot easily make simple decisions like choosing furniture, he approaches all the relationships in his life with a strange intensity. plus my own personal projection <3

i just do not understand, why terminally online queer people like wis and salem, are so intent on making a "hierarchy" of queerness. like yes. trans women, do have it bad. transmisogyny is a unique and terrible thing to experience. but, the way the both of them talk about trans men. and honestly. the way a large portion of the internet, talks about trans men/trans mascs. it gets truly bad. even, from other queer people.

in an irl, lgbt community. guess what. nobody cares, about your ASAB. no one walks up, and asks, "are you TME or TMA?!?!". no one pries into your identity. if you look 100% feminine. but ask them to refer to you as a he. they will respect this. salem of course, does not know this, as he has never attempted to seek an lgbt community. and yes. i am aware, he lives in the south, in a religious environment. so did i. in the deep south, where at times, it was dangerous.

i have been incredibly fortunate, in that i have been part of many different real life lgbt communities. some created by myself even, and thus, having experience with irl, chill queer people. they literally, are just people. and yes. some of them, DO end up being bad people, they are not immune to being shitty, simply for being lgbt. our group, rightfully kept them away, because they proved themselves to be a danger, and could not respect basic consent.

the point of a community, especially one for marginalized people. is to BE. TOGETHER. to SUPPORT, and UPLIFT one another! not to create, artificial lines, that no one cares about, irl. wis and salem so desperately, want to be the queen and king of a shitty hierarchy, they are constructing around them, where they always have the be-all-end-all, to everything, and every issue, and are never wrong. i think, as someone who is not terminally online, and has more experience with irl gays, than online gays, it is just scummy.

Hi, I'm not exactly in the safest spot in my country. We can access the internet, but I'm worried that interacting with or consuming anti-government stuff will get me in trouble. What can I do to protect myself?

There are a number of things but the most important thing is to confuse them. Depending on your age/activities its highly unlikely that anyone will be tracking you specifically, or have any interest in you. As long as you don't have like 50 things linking you back to government conspiracies, theres likely no one who will give a shit.

Keep your anti-goverment stuff on a SEPARATE account, with a seperate VPN, under no circumstances do you want those accounts linked in ANY WAY. Preferably you do want a normal account, if you ever get in trouble in real life, they may look through your social media, and having none can be suspicious/raise flags you dont want raised. Again, this won't put you in particular danger because unless there are other problems they won't care to look further, but still, better to be safe then sorry and if you are in a dangerous spot its always better to go under the radar.

Ask around about cheap devices. I would typically avoid phones. Do your stuff on a laptop at home, no public wifi stuff. Depending on your country, I would either go to a local guy, who can usually get you a secure laptop without asking too many questions, or get a branded security one from a second/third hand seller (preferably not on a major website, and definitely don't go for first-hand, because those are really easy to track if need be.)

Generally this device should be different to the rest of your devices, if you can afford such. It should not have any kind of connction to you personally.

The most important thing is to have deniability.

If someone was to go 'hey, thsat so-and-so's computer' you want everyone to go, 'no, so and so doesnt have a computer' or 'so and so doesn't use those kind of devices'.

'Thats so and so's social media' 'No, so-and so's social media is ____'

'So and so did that' 'No it was someone from (country your vpn is set to)'

Again, this will likely no end up being too important, but better safe then sorry.

(Also, something that gets left out, do make it hard. Yes, use passwords, follow typical safety rules, avoid being hacked. Unless you're an actual threat/important, most people, especially members of the goverment won't bother actually doing work to snoop at your stuff.)

Normally i don't do this because like. While I'm well aware i can have my own opinions, i still don't want to make anyone feel bad for me being a disliker ( maybe hater? ).

Spoilers / talking about the new Venom movie below. If you liked it I'm glad you did! If you want to explain in why in comments, feel free! /genuine

I'll start with: i had a bad-ish day so maybe everything soured my mood and i wasn't ready i. The end. I also picked the wrong ticket and had to watch it in 3D < not a 3D fan due to being sensitive to flashing lights.

What i did like:

Implications of being bonded since v1

Knull ( surprisingly, i hate the comic story though I'm gonna be so real. But its been awhile since i looked up the plot/story ).

Agony and the Christmas themed Symbiote

Horse.

Dancing.

The blue symboite and that fire symbiote ( so pretty?? I loved the different powers and such. I want to draw both of them ).

The symbiote hunter, shes gorgeous.

What i Did NOT like:

Toxin being erased entirely.

They killed of Carnage and Cletus in 2 so this whole thing flopped without them IMO

You can see where Disney or Sony whoever wanted this or that but when Tom or whoever didn't want it, it got scrapped and had messy left overs.

Too much action and too much comedy ( the dancing was fine, but the hippie family deal went on a bit too long imo ).

Why was Agony introduced but not the other three? Specifically Scream at least?

Knull having his own thanos moment for sony, a spin off or whatever they're doing.

Eddie's ENTIRE attitude.

That Montage was ASS. Hate that song too.

Too much going on imo

I would have loved to have a genuine queer moment, a kiss, a "i love you", literally anything. I can MAYBE understand if they tried but Sony or Disney said no ( fuck them ) but still. And no i was one of the few that hope there wasn't fucking or kiss with HARD tongue ( i am ace and also these two are my dads to me, it would've been awkward ). Yeah i see some people saying "Its textual" !!!

Yea sure thats nice but aren't you tired? It doesn't have to be queer baiting but like. I'm so tired.

Even if you remove that um? Its not.. that great.

I'm WILLING to watch it again and read positive sides. Because my mood just may have soured.

i think my biggest issue if i take everything away what i just said, is Eddie just going back to being annoyed at every little thing Venom does or wants. ITS OKAY to be concerned about being found by the hunter, but even before then hes just so done. And even during? He should've been concerned. Or Yeah he CAN be annoyed / irritated, but it should be with care. This felt like he was back to thinking of Venom as a tumor, something he just needs to get rid of.

It was vastly upsetting as someone who has partners. Like.. it would be okay if this was the second or first- but it isn't!!!!! And yeah couples fight, but they didn't even do that. Couples have disagreements! But they didn't even talk it out or anything.

Also like? One of my things that bugged me was, when Eddie was complaining about his feet, and we knew Venom couldn't fully take over..... why didn't Venom just yk. Cover his feet for him and walk? That would have been a subtle sweet gesture while they could've still been bantering and so on.

If they had like. Argued, fought, had an emotional moment at the end, Eddie was upset he never got to apologize- i could see it. But thats another thing- he wasn't even THAT upset...

Its fine to not be a super empathetic person, fuck i dont always cry appropriately either. But he didn't show Nothing and not in a "i'm a no empathy person" way.

Idk!!!!!!!! My brain is scrambled.

People have said a lot of what i have problems with already but idk i just!!! Feel the need to put it out there.

Also i missed the second end credit scene :,)

Her: *leaves on read for a few days then replies* I was distant because I thought you should reflect on your actions.

Me: What actions??

Her: The fact you dont even know is why I distanced.

Me: I'm sorry. You didnt tell me something upset you so how would I know? People dont always know something they do or say upsets you. Thats something you have to communicate so we can clear the air/work on it.

Her: Here we are again with you simply not knowing youre wrong. It's all here in our chat.

Me: You. Didnt. Tell. Me. But also it's in the chat? You mean the chat where I told you that you upset me with how you spoke to me? The chat where I bared my heart and mind about having pots and being neurodivergent? About how you treated my medical issues and mental struggles as character flaws instead of what they are, medical conditions? How you spoke to me in a very ableist manner repeatedly when I tried in vain to explain that I wasnt blowing you off xyz times because I didnt care but that because I was having flare ups in symptoms? THAT chat? Because you getting upset that I was honest with you about how you made me feel and why is your problem not mine.

You being a neurotypical, indirect, ableist, holier than thou, MEANIE, is your problem not mine. I was sitting here grieving the loss of a long-time friendship for 2 months because you couldn't be bothered to communicate with me like an adult. I literally do not understand people. I dont understand how you think the way you're treating me is totally okay. I was depressed as fuck but now I'm just more hurt and angry.

Angry that you refuse to accept that someone you were friends with for years decided to confide in you that they were autistic+adhd+pots. Officially verbalizing it. To you. And you just.... shut me out like I was trash. How fucking dare you. How absolutely fucking dare you.

I'm heartbroken, still. Which you don't deserve. I'll miss you terribly. Which you dont deserve. My kids will miss your kids, which is depressing for them as I have a total of 3 mom friends with kiddos their age which is now only 2 I guess. (Not including my new tumblr mom bestie who we havent actually chatted chatted cuz, I'm shy as fuck in the beginning of friendships. But I digress.)

I just.... I'm so hurt. I am so hurt. She doesn't.... even understand how hurtful she is and that's worse. Fucking ironic considering I communicate with her clearly about what upsets me and why and yet it simply doesnt sink in what I'm saying. She simply COULDNT be the reason I'm upset and hurt.

I can't even think anymore right now. This is too much. Honestly I was starting to accept the no contact and her replying with more ableist shit just reopened the wound.

by the moment im writing this it has being more than a year that my father died and I still think about that, I still miss him and I know my mother does too, those are quite messy mixed feelings but at least are helping me to come up with interesting prompts!

Link

Link is a really loving and caring boyfriend, he can be quite flustered at times by your relationship but that doesn't stop him from expressing his love by indirect ways and sometimes directly too (mostly whenever is just the two of you since he can get flustered by it)

Link normally doesn't think much on the future, but if you ask him Link will admit that he definetly loves the idea of spending his life with you, the idea of being together for the rest of your lives no matter what happen is really appeling to him and wouldn't mind telling you if you ask him

Thats why hearing you say this definetly shock him, he loves you so much that he doesn't see why not fighting for that love, but even when he can understand that asking him to find someone else is also a demostration of love, not wanting him to be alone, he just doesn't want to find someone else

He doesn't answer imediatly because he is trying to process what you have just told him, he is trying to imagine that posibility, imagine how he would be if he loses you and him having to find someone else, but he doesn't like it, he doesn't want to think about that nor that you are thinking about that

Link feel a little bad for it but he will tell you that he can't promise you something like that, even if the worst happen and he lose you he doesn't know if he will be able to find someone else, heck, he doesn't even know if he will be able to even get over losing you. He isn't sure if would be able to find someone else but he is sure that no matter how much time pass he will always love you and will never forget you (and he probably tell you right away that too)

It doesn't matter if you tell him when you two are just students or when he start his journey as the hero, it wont chance his reaction nor his feelings, what will actually chance it will be the intensity of his determination, if there is danger he will even promise you that he will do everything in his power to make sure nothing bad happen, to you or him

He isn't too affected by your words afterward but he does remember it sometimes and is something that really keep him up at night, he just doesn't understand why would you think or even request him something like that, but he doesn't want you to think in that, and he will be determinated to prove you that something like that will not happen

Zelda

Zelda is totally the type to be friends with her partner and she like it that way, she is far from being flustered enough to become shy so she has no problem with being close to you and act all friendly, actually she is quite playfuly and teasing with you just as how affectionate and loving she is, there isn't the slighest doubt about her love

Sometimes, when Zelda feels specially affectionate and loving she end up thinking about you and the future, about how amazing it would be have a peaceful life together, working together and having a domestic life in a future, although is a thought that can actually make her flustered so she doesn't talk much about it unless you two are alone

Before being dragged out of the sea of clouds there is no much danger or not anything that could be a real threaten so when she heard you say this, how you wish for her to continue if someday something happens to you is something quite shocking, she take a moment to process your words and still ask you to repeat yourself, trying to treat it as a joke to dont let the weight of your words hit

Even if it is after she had fulfilled her duty and is now out of the sea of clouds she will react similar, not wanting to take it too serious because she doesn't want to lose you, but now that she have faced such threat she is more confident to tell you that something like that will not happen because you have her to protect you

But even if she tries to brush it of with a joke she will have to face your words soon are later because those are stuck in her head, thinking further about it she is flattered that you are thinking on her and that you love her so much that you are thinking on her happiness, but at the same time she feels quite troubled that you think on the posibility of your decease

At the end, Zelda will feel a little anxious about this, is that you are hiding something from her? Why are you even thinking on this? It would even become a little obvious how is she feeling about this, sometimes even staring at you a little as if she were trying to find out what are you hiding from her but at the end she will just bring the topic and directly ask you if there is something wrong, asking why have you even being thinking on something like that

Hilda

Hilda is painfully aware of the conditions of the world all of you are living on, she is constantly trying to find ways to help her people survive so she end up relying on you to have at least a moment where she doesn't carry the weight of the world in her shoulders

Hilda's feeling for you are pure and sincere, she loves you with all her heart and that same love makes her wish things where diferent, if only the world wouldn't so dangerous maybe you two could have a better life. She constantly think on the future due her responsability and her title, but when it comes to you she just hopes that you won't fall out of love with her

Hearing you say such thing definetly make her stop in shock and stare at you, her expression slowly changing from shock to anger, she doesn't want you to talk about something like that and is quick to tell you, she is definetly not happy about what you have said and will even scold you for thinking on something like that

It will take Hilda a while to be able to calm down and think better on this, since you said those words they haven't left her mind, and while those words run around her mind making her anxious and scare she doesn't want to face you (what at the end is counterproductive since it just make her feel even more anxious)

The moment she finally calms down and is able to put her thoughts in order she will try to talk to you again, apologize for her previous reaction before explaining that she is already scare of losing you and you talking about this things makes her think that you already accepted that is something that will happen, wich just become a reminder of how bad this world state is

Hilda apreciate that you try to think on her and her own happiness but she also admits that she can't promise you to find someone else because she doesn't even believe that such thing would happen, if you are gone she won't be able to deal too well on her grief and will end up getting too focused on her rule and to find a solution (and if she does manage to find a solution she will feel guilt forever for not finding the solution when you were still here with her)

At the end Hilda ask you to please dont think about those things again, she knows is a posibility but while is just that she will make everything in her power to make it stay like that, just a posibility

Ravio

Ravio is quite playful and teasing with his partner, what helps to cover up his own flustered state most of the time, he is affectionate and loving, telling you how much he loves you without hesitantion or shame but when you return the affection he is easily take off guard, wich end up making him flustered

Ravio is a fearful, he doesn't like thinking about the present, let alone about the future, he is scare of talking in a serious manner so most of the time he tries to joke to light up the mood and make you forget at least for a moment about the danger around, if he manage to make you laugh at least just once he feels realiced

Ravio is painfuly aware of the situation but he is too coward to aknowledge it, thats why he always jokes around and even cover his face with his hood, but hearing you say something that even just suggest the posibility of him losing you is a big hit of reality for him, he quickly panics but tries to brush it off, trying to treat it as a joke before trying to change the subject

Ravio doesn't want to talk about such saddening thing, sadly, now that you have spoke about it he just can't stop thinking about it, no matter how much he tries to distract himself, his mind take him back at your words, repeating them over and over again and even make him start to feel in the state of grief already

Ravio feel in the verge of tears the more he thinks about it, he is a coward who sometimes hide his face from even you, how he would even at least try to protect you against the danger when he constantly just hide, honestly, the more he thinks about it the more he just grow to hate himself, while you tried to face reality and accept it as it is, even accepting the posibility of not surviving he is trying to avoid even just thinking about it

Ravio would not have the strength to bring up the topic again to the conversation and probably would act as if you haven't say it, but at some point he would make up his mind and promise to himself to find a way to fix things with Hilda so you won't have to think about something like that again

If you actually brought it up again and say it again or ask for an answer Ravio will feel troubled but at the end he would just promise you that he would do it, trying to gain courage from anywhere inside of him to ask you to please promise him the same, to promise him that no matter what happen you will be happy and will continue living
