when I first saw HH I was somewhat interested and I was excited because my (theatre) friends love her and this show and would spout praise. So, I figured it would be perfect to show off a bunch of Historical/Cultural clothes and portray the wrongdoings people and countries have been involved in over time and humanize some of these wrongdoers.

I cannot tell you how pissed off i was seeing Sir Pencious’ outfit and learning he was from the 1880’s. I was also so unimaginably pissed about Angeldust and Vaggie’s names. I genuinely was in denial about Vaggie’s name insisting that it had to be Maggie or Naggie or anything that was not slang for Vaginia.

I also assumed this show was a critique on all the Abrahamic faiths because Lilith is in the Torah and not the Bible (from what I’ve learnt). But no, she just completely left in two of the Abrahamic faiths and left out Islam. Like do a bit more research and add in at least some elements like girl.

I don’t feel like i have to say anything on Mimzy’s design because it’s so atrocious id rather get told to go back to Poland.

Also I find it really.. ironic(?) how they portray Lilith in the show, who is from the Torah, but then have two (TWO!!) Jewish stereotype characters. Like Jesus Christ, Viv.

I've been watching Hazbin Hotel in prime. Just watched episode 5 and I gotta ask

Why, oh, WHY DON'T I SEE MORE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT "MORE THAN ANYTHING" WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE HAZBIN HOTEL MUSIC???

Like I get it, the song before it "Hell's Greatest Dad" Is a bop reminiscent of other music from the era its parodying. I loved it.

BUT why are you only putting clips of that song when this MASTERPIECE comes a few minutes after

I honestly don't even know where to begin with this song. The visuals are beautiful, especially when we get moments like this where you can just see the absolute LOVE this man has for her daughter is so sweet and Heartwarming I just-

The voices are fenomenal but what else can you expect from the broadway talents of Erika Henningsen and Jeremy Jordan.

There is also the whole Symbolism with passing the baton to the next generation and stuff. I- I can't even get into the specifics right now Im too emotional.

in an earlier post i mentioned how i'd like to see a full eah episode one day that solely consists of raven beating the shit out of milton grimm for 5 straight minutes but now I'm thinking that we get giles in on this too; I think it would serve as a form of therapy for the two of them, maybe even a strange, cathartic bonding experience.
