I don't know if it's because I don't go on Tumblr very often and I've missed it or if Wonderlust is playing it kind of as a joke when it comes up on the rare occasion, but Blink is literally homeless and I have barely seen anyone talk about it. He says so multiple times.

He asks Graphite if he can sleep at his place when delivering that first package to Arch. He says that he doesn't have a house and doesn't settle down. That he just keeps walking places. That it's tiring and it's just what he does. He later says that he's slept in boxes.

Now it's a situation caused by money, obviously. Delivering packages doesn't make him much money. But I also have a feeling that if he asked Graphite, he could easily live there full time and be his roommate. It could be his pride on the line, but he also tells people that he doesn't have a place to stay. He doesn't hide it that much. A sense of guilt maybe? Something revolving around that he doesn't deserve to have stability because he (in his mind at the time) killed Candle. Or maybe that feeling of just being a bother to everyone around him, to the point that he couldn't tell people no.

And the real question is what he will do after the campaign ends. Will he go back to living on the streets, or will he try and take back his life and find that stability where he can? Troy has a shit ton of money, he could easily buy Blink a house of some kind. Or maybe troy would want to live with him in reclaim (with the same sort of situation of troy buying the house). Could ask Graphite as I said before. Could eventually live with Aeon even, once they figure out their personal situation more.

This is mostly just me rambling about it, but I love thinking about this particular part of Blink's situation. Most of everything else has been resolved in some way.

i love that Jay and Drey are both criers. all i do is think about the parallels and similarities between them i love them so much

Drey being such an open crier, he doesn’t hide it when he has to kill Captain Rose, he doesn’t hide how he feels about it and he doesn’t feel like he should have to

him telling Jay to cry, but to keep her head up. that’s what shows their strength. not hiding their emotions, but openly and unapologetically wearing them on their sleeves

and Jay’s allowed to cry !! she’s never called weak, she’s never made fun of, she’s never told to grow up, she’s never looked down on. she cries angry and sad and overwhelmed and she’s never made to feel bad for it. she cries in front of the crew, but she also cries in front of her FATHER, and she feels no shame about it.

she keeps her head up and cries and shows her strength, no matter how scared she might be
