His desire for her attention caused him to act out a ton pre-canon. Ways he did this included pranking elder kindred, sabotaging the speeches of the senile vampiric preacher, making him say funny things, and just straightup stealing stuff that shouldn't be stealable like desks and bookshelves, also pepper sometimes, forgetful minding anyone who witnessed him.
