I've been watching Hazbin Hotel in prime. Just watched episode 5 and I gotta ask

Why, oh, WHY DON'T I SEE MORE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT "MORE THAN ANYTHING" WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE HAZBIN HOTEL MUSIC???

Like I get it, the song before it "Hell's Greatest Dad" Is a bop reminiscent of other music from the era its parodying. I loved it.

BUT why are you only putting clips of that song when this MASTERPIECE comes a few minutes after

I honestly don't even know where to begin with this song. The visuals are beautiful, especially when we get moments like this where you can just see the absolute LOVE this man has for her daughter is so sweet and Heartwarming I just-

The voices are fenomenal but what else can you expect from the broadway talents of Erika Henningsen and Jeremy Jordan.

There is also the whole Symbolism with passing the baton to the next generation and stuff. I- I can't even get into the specifics right now Im too emotional.

Anon request: I'm very curious as to how the demon brothers would handle an MC / Y/N that accidentally injured their knee and can't move their leg for a while as a result. Like, everything was fine and dandy, the day was going well! But as they were walking from one area to the other, suddenly they turned too quickly, or perhaps they awkwardly shifted their weight in a moment of absentmindedness - and now their kneecap is out of the socket. Content one moment, distressed the next once they realize what happened. They scream so loudly from the pain that you can hear it outside the House of Lamentation, immediately making any noise go quiet. Even once they (very carefully) get it back in place and the pain starts to subside, they're shaking and in tears, completely unable to walk on that side. They're gonna be out of commission for a few days, may or may not have permanent damage in the area, but it slowly gets better over time. It's okay if you don't wanna do this one, btw! This is just based on something that happened to me earlier this week, gotta love Funky Joint Syndrome (hEDS) :')

I like to think this would happen one of those days when the House of Lamentation is half empty because the universe likes to be that awful most of the time.

You’re almost thankful that, for once, you can finally run around your home with no demons trailing behind you. Sure, you love the brothers, but their demand for your attention can get suffocating sometimes.

And this specific day, each one of them is doing their own thing in separate places. Lucifer is at the castle, Mammon at the casino, Asmo is at a party, and Beel is running laps around the house. With the rest of the brothers rotting away in their rooms, it is safe to say you have all the house to yourself.

You take advantage of the situation by admiring the architecture, the oil paintings, the details in the staircase windows and the statues. You feel dumb at the beginning, but how could you live in a mansion without even attempting to appreciate its… unique beauty?

Murder house aesthetic, right?

The problem comes when you accidentally trip while stepping on the curled corner of one of the carpets.

The movement awkwardly twists your leg and makes your patella sit on the side instead of the front, where it’s supposed to be. Your joint locks itself, unnaturally bulgy, and sends waves of pain through all your nervous system.

You aren’t sure what noise the brothers heard first, either your fall or your cries, but they are all there with you in mere seconds. And those who are out of the house are on their way the moment they receive the informative message.

Thankfully, Lucifer managed to stop Diavolo and Barbatos from coming with him.

And despite Beel being the closest, the first one to return is Mammon.

Asmo takes a little longer because the tears are blurring his vision.

But back to the incident.

Satan manages to pop your patella back into position with magic while Levi and Belphie comfort you, and in the back of your mind, the commotion makes you feel a tiny bit embarrassed.

It hurts like hell, yes, but you don’t want the whole house to think you’re dying. Last time that happened, you, at least, went with a fight, but this time, you just tripped. And they’re taking it like your leg’s going to be amputated.

On the other hand, though, despite being overbearing, they take incredible care of you.

Since Beel is already used to it thanks to Belphie, he offers to take you anywhere, even if it’s within walking distance. It doesn’t matter if it’s a piggyback ride or a princess carry; whatever makes you feel more comfortable and painless, he will do.

Lucifer lets you skip classes for the necessary recovery period, not even contemplating the idea of seeing you walk up so many stairs and then stay sit and still for hours on end. If you try to act tough for the sake of being a responsible student, he may order the older twin to keep guard outside your bedroom door. He’s making sure you rest.

Satan understands Lucifer’s approach and, surprise surprise, is on board with it; but rather than making sure you stay in the house, he guarantees you don’t feel the need to leave at all. He will offer his notes and tutor you on what you don’t understand, laying down beside you in bed with books and papers scattered around you.

Levi, on the other hand, is set on keeping you entertained, and understanding that it is better if you don’t move for a while, he brings his games and manga to your room. It’s almost too much and proves to be unnecessary because you end up spending the days marathoning The Tale of the Seven Lords yet again and talking about it nonstop afterwards.

Asmo is more of a self-care type of guy and wants you to know that. He understands how you could prefer rotting away in bed while sick or injured, but you should really take care of your body! Each morning, he marches straight to your room after finishing his own routine (because you have to see him at his best) and applies himself every ointment your beautiful face could need to stay the same. If you let him, and he’ll promise he’ll be careful, he’ll even massage some anti-inflammatory cream in the injured area.

Mammon becomes your favourite errand boy, leaving the house in search of every craving you may have, even if it’s stupid. Sure, he’ll complain, but that’s part of his charm. He wouldn’t be putting on his boots if it really bothered him, right? No matter the cost, he’ll pay for it; unless it’s expensive, in which case Lucifer may add an involuntary contribution (wink wink).

And while all of this is taking place, Belphie is peacefully sleeping right next to you, hidden under the blankets and blissfully unaware of all the noise. He offers cuddles, comfort, warmth and good dreams, and if your knee is feeling especially painful, he may even let you hold onto his tail like a plushie.

If there’s a bad part to any of this, it’s that now they won’t let you out of their sight for even a minute.

What did you expect?

You got hurt in the comfort of your own house!

While they were away!!

Clearly, they need to stay closer.

Author's Note: Thank you so much for the ask! I had a lot of fun with this! Been dreaming of the day that Mammon proposes to me 🤭

He would absolutely plan out an extravagant proposal. I'm talking fireworks, live band, hundreds of roses, rent out a whole amusement park type shit. Mans will happily spend a pretty penny on his proposal to MC. Even then he might not think it's enough to fully express to MC how much they mean to him but if he spends any more money Lucifer will surely hang him from the ceiling for an eternity. He definitely can't have that happen so he leaves his plans as is.

He carefully plans out his proposal for MONTHS (he also needed time to save up enough Grimm to cover his extravagant plans). He has the whole day planned out for the two of them. A nice morning drive along the devil's coast, a picnic on the beach for lunch, a shopping spree at all their favorite places (if they even so much as look at an item for more than a few seconds he's instantly buying it for them), a fancy dinner at a high class restaurant, and lastly having fun at an amusement park. He plans to propose on the Ferris wheel when they get to the top all while fireworks bloom in the dark devildom sky.

All of his brothers know about his plans to propose and even helped coordinate. Asmo helped pick out the ring, Beel gave suggestions on restaurants, Lucifer used his influence to secure a reservation at the booked restaurant, Levi tailor made matching outfits for the two of them (Mammon designed them), Satan used his connections to get Mammon in touch with the amusement park owner, and Belphie used his cuddly nature to secretly get MC's measurements (for the ring and the custom made outfit).

While Mammon is grateful for his brothers help it does make everything seem more real and that only makes him more nervous. The closer the day gets the more of a nervous wreck Mammon becomes.

The day finally comes and Mammon wakes up early as he is too nervous and excited to sleep. He lays in bed and stares at the ceiling going over the plans for today over and over again in his head. He can't mess this up! It's gotta be perfect for his perfect human!

Mammon's thoughts are interrupted when he hears MC stir beside him. He looks over at his love half asleep next to him. Suddenly all his worries vanish and he feels this warm feeling deep inside his chest. He gently caresses their cheek while looking at them with the softest most lovesick look in his eyes and a gentle smile.

"Marry me will ya?" He whispers almost breathlessly as if it were meant only for his ears.

"So that's why you've been acting so strange the last few weeks" MC whispers, sleep still evident in their voice. MC opens their eyes and smiles up at a shocked Mammon.

"Y-ya weren't supposed to hear that!" Mammon looks away with a deep shade of red blooming on his cheeks.

"Forget ya heard anything! The Great Mammon didn't spend all his time planning the perfect proposal just for ya to find out before the day's even started!" Mammon says with a pout.

"Forget I heard what?" MC says with a faux look of confusion.

"Exactly! That's my good human!" Mammon smiles triumphantly. MC chuckles.

The two of them continue to chat and cuddle for a while before starting their day together. The whole time both are thinking the same thing:

i agree with the whole thing about mc not needing anymore love interests. tbh i feel like diavolo should’ve been the only datable side character (and also solomon but that’s me being biased bc he charmed his way into my heart) since he’s so interested in humans so he would naturally spend more and more time w mc. simeon and barbatos had the same aura as your older brothers best friend. yes they’re charming and it’s nice to imagine a relationship w them but they’re also emotionally unavailable and just don’t seem that interested in you anyway romantically.

Honestly I don't see Diavolo as a dateable either

When they first announced the side characters becoming dateables I was so visibly excited about Diavolo being dateable that I got a couple asks about whether this meant I'd be ditching Mammon

But I don't like the way they executed it?

They kinda just sprang it at the end of s2 with 0 build up?

I mean Solomon's being showing interest in MC since S1 (though I don't really interpret that as romantic interest) that it's believable when he starts liking them?

But even mid way through S2 Diavolo had no real interest in MC other than the 'they're human gotta keep 'em safe to make sure my millenia old dream suceeds' and 'if they die lucifer is going to be big sad' kind

Okay maybe my bitterness at the execution is making me exagerate. I'm sure he cared about MC as a person and/or a friend in S2 but it's never enough to justify the sudden romantic twist at the end of s2

The focus when it came to Diavolo or Lucifer in S2 was all about their relationship with each other and MC acting as the therapist. To the point that:

a.) Lucifer (with amnesia) asked MC what he was doing talking about other men (Diavolo) the last time they were together in a romantic spot (the top of a ferris wheel)

b.) MC's gonna fucking explode and take all three worlds with them and Diavolo refuses to tell the brothers till the very end because:

I mean look, you can't suddenly claim he's in love with MC when a few lessons ago he was willing to keep the fact that MC was a ticking time bomb from people who could have helped just because he wanted to not upset Lucifer for as long as possible

Also not Diavolo fighting for his life trying to deflect Simeon's questions and Simeon basically going

Even now each time Diavolo says something romantic to MC it's like getting hit in the face because it feels like it came outta nowhere

it's quiet tonight, you notice.

which is understandable. it's way past the appropriate time for anyone to be awake-- but you know that if you walked through the halls of the house of lamentation, you'd still hear a few of the brothers who reside here still up and quickly acting like they're asleep when lucifer comes in to do his nightly check-in.

you would be more worried about being in mammon's room at this time of night if you didn't already know that lucifer wouldn't mind. it's happened before and it'll happen again.

but something's different. there's nothing unusual about the way mammon's acting around you right now-- his head is tucked on your upper arm as he wraps himself around your body, and your hand goes through his hair in a repetitive motion, a movement you've become familiar with after all these years (not that he knows). all in all, there's nothing strange about tonight, just different.

mammon confirms your thoughts when he asks you "i was wonderin'... how'd you feel about me?"

that... certainly wasn't what you expected.

"what brought that up?"

"look, just lay it out straight for me, okay?"

One day on your break you decide to chat him up & offer help on the subject he was struggling with

After a few weeks of tutoring (+some heavy flirting), he passed his exam flawlessly

Always large orders of a few different drinks (part of his job)

Though you notice he always orders tea for himself & likes to buy different tea blends

He's a very (cute) polite customer, one of the few

You two usually chat as you make his large order & you can't help but fall for him

Knowing he loves to buy limited release tea blends, you usually save him one before the cafe sells out

You never tell anyone about it but:

"I appreciate you always saving me one."

"I have a friend who stopped by earlier & said it was one of those times they missed out. Yet, there always appears to be one for me even after sell-out. Thank you kindly."

i'm really curious, what are some of your least favorite takes you've seen about Lucifer? (i'm prompted by that last post you reblogged :p) i know you're not a fan of Alastor, so probably RadioApple, and, because of the demisexual headcanon, probably almost any non-canon "canon x Lucifer" ship is a "least favorite," but what else? (if you're worried about getting flamed or put on blast or smth, feel free to ignore or just DM!)

I wanted to answer this earlier but I completely forgot lmao

I’m not worried about getting flamed, I don’t think my takes are gonna make anyone TOO upset lol. If it so, ehh who cares!

I feel like I haven’t made it clear how I feel about Alastor…I actually DO like Alastor! He’s one of my favorite characters and I’m very interested in learning more about him and his story. I think my main issue with Al comes from his popularity in the fandom and how he’s portrayed sometimes outside of the show itself.

I always say this, but I’m not here to rain on anybody’s parade, we are all kids playing with dolls here. Everything is fun and make believe and we all gotta find joy in something, right? Hell, people can be annoyed with my love for Lucifer and that’s perfectly fine! I just don’t expect to be harassed over it just like I won’t harass anyone who enjoys something I don’t! Because I’m a grown ass adult and I have real problems to worry about!

That being said, you are correct in saying I don’t really enjoy RadioApple (this is my first time admitting it publicly and I’m a little afraid lol) It’s just not a ship I vibe with. However, I truly don’t mind other ships with Lucifer that much, I’m more neutral than anything, but I can appreciate interesting character dynamics in ships like Adamsapple and Appledust. But y’all know I’m a Lucilith lover he misses his wife Tails. I’m just a sucker for that kind of devotion which is where my demi side really shines through lol

But back to your original question! The take I see the most and angers me the most is when people say that they wish Lucifer would have been portrayed as more of a bad guy; a neglectful father who belittles Charlie and her mission, someone who detests his lot in life and is more vicious and cruel “like the devil should be.” But guys…THERE ARE ALREADY SO MANY DEPICTIONS OF THE DEVIL IN MEDIA THAT PORTRAY HIM AS EVIL!!!! I am really happy they did something different with this Lucifer! They made him funny and charismatic and sympathetic. He’s not perfect, don’t get me wrong, he’s still very prideful, he resents sinners, and he can be a bit of a show off.

But I feel like most people forget Lucifer is still an angel, a being of light who made a mistake and was punished harshly for it. He didn’t mean to bring darkness into the world, all he wanted was to give humanity a gift, but they abused it. Lucifer is sad, he’s depressed, he isolates himself, he’s lonely, he doesn’t take his role as king of Hell seriously. Plus his wife leaving did not help. (I have a whole rant I could go on about the shit Lilith gets but I’ll save it for another time lol.)

As someone who had struggled with depression in the past, I did the exact same thing. I didn’t spend much time with the people closest to me and I ignored my responsibilities because of what I was going through. And yes, while he hasn’t been a great father, he still loves Charlie with his whole heart and would do anything to protect her. And I think that’s what matters; he cares and he’s trying to improve. This show’s main theme is redemption, is it not?

So no, I really don’t think we needed another evil devil character in media. I love my silly little duck man and I will ALWAYS defend him and his characterization!

In 12x12, there’s the overt fish-spearing imagery from a "demon who likes to fish," sure. It's a warped mirror of that recurring painting of Michael spearing Lucifer.

But there's also... the gut wound.

This gut wound is one of the calling cards of Azazel (alongside the explosive theatre and spectacle of his fires).

The gut wound is all about:

RAMIEL: Impressive. This beauty, she kills the bad ones fast, and the good ones slow and painful. 12x12

Or as Crowley says in The Great Escapist:

CROWLEY: "I assume you won't die just yet. Takes a painful long time to bleed out from the gut." 8x21

In 4x03 The Beginning, John and Deanna got brutal efficiency: quick deaths. But Samuel? He was kept alive, drawn out, tortured.

And now it’s Cas’s turn.

The gut wound is, above all, personal. It’s all about humiliation and powerlessness. It’s not just about pain—it’s about making them see it.

That’s the worst thing you can do to a Protector, after all—keep them alive just long enough for him to know he's failed the people he was trying to save.

CAS: I love you. I love all of you. Just please... please, don’t make my last moments be spent watching you die. Just run. Save yourselves. And I will hold Ramiel off as long as I can. 12x12

In 1x01, it's Mary who bleeds out after taking the burden of protecting her family solely upon herself. She is forced to watch her failures unfold before she goes out in a blaze of glory.

But it's also important to note that maybe it was watching John step between her and the Yellow-Eyed Demon, risking his life and losing it—and watching her parents die—that drove her to want to bear it all alone in the first place.

It’s a trauma that echoes through the very core of the show—the root injury of the lone-wolf mentality, the fear of losing those you love because you can't protect them.

Cas & Samuel & Deanna:

Samuel and Deanna were both hunters. Even when she hated them, she loved them too. They were her protectors.

Perhaps, she believed that no matter how bad things got, they'd always be ready to charge through the door in the nick of time, just like Chuck says to Sam in 15x09:

CHUCK: No, this is more. This is...hope. Ah. That's what's stopping me – you. You still think that Dean and Cas are gonna fly through those doors just in the nick of time.  15x09

How like how in 4x03, even thought she wanted to run AWAY from hunting, Mary always expected Samuel to be there, ready to go whenever she needed him.

Here, she thought Samuel would IMMEDIATELY be ready to jump in the car and save her friend:

MARY: Dad, she's a friend of mine! We gotta help her! I'll be in the car. (rushes out) DEANNA: Hey– SAMUEL (bewildered): I mean, she wants to hunt, she doesn't want to hunt—? 4x03

But yeah. Back to 12x12, Cas’s agony mirrors ALL Mary's losses. There's the obvious John overtones, but there's also—

Samuel, stabbed in the gut, and Deanna desperately crawling away:

It’s not just the loss of her family but how she's forced to witness it, feeling powerless to stop it. (SEE ALSO ROWENA'S: "I'll never be weak again!"

Even though Mary is fucking up epically in this episode, there are glimmers of what we’ll see in 12x23 All Along the Watchtower.

It's ultimately about Mary fighting back! This time, Mary is an active force in facing the danger head-on.

(BAM!)

But in trying to take it all on herself... she's lying again.

There's a moment after the fight that she ALMOST comes clean about having stolen the Colt:

MARY: So... you’re good? CAS: I guess so. What did he... what did he mean about somebody stealing from him? [Mary is about to say something, but Dean speaks first] DEAN: Who knows what that crazy man was talking about. Let’s go home. 12x12

Just like how she ALMOST says something about her hunting background in 4x03.

MARY: Okay, wait. There's things you don't know about me, John. JOHN: So?

This seems to lend weight to the fact that it was the trauma of their murders that inflamed her lies. Her instinct was to tell John before making a big commitment.

But in 12x12, ultimately, she’s Gambling—making deals and doing dumb shit to protect everyone on her own.

Drilling down, it’s about Mary seeing her fallen protector(s) and getting so spooked that she tries to take it all on herself.

(Season 3-4 Sam echoes this, too—disgusted by weakness, both his own and the vulnerability of others. It’s terrifying to realize your "invincible" protectors are weak, human, and capable of dying.)

Dagon: Look at him, your angelic defender. You really thought he was gonna save you? This sad, fluttering, aimless little moth?

but now that i am not, i am finally pushing myself to make this. it's also pertinent for this blog because a lot of the ghouls (particularly era I/II) are, like. completely disregarded, so i gotta make up my own shit for them.

○ Dean has faith he can kill Lucifer and the angels and the demons and win the war. So much for him not having faith in himself. I love his attitude rn

FIRST TIME WATCHING THE SPN FINALE [Spoilers ahead]

I just finished watching Supernatural in September of 2024. I'm overwhelmed and needing to rant about it so here are my thoughts on the last 3 episodes of season 15:

First things first: There was one thing on my mind the entire time during the last 2 episodes. "Dead men wear no plaid". Dean didn't wear plaid for the last 2 episodes. Not a single scene. While sam wore plaid the whole time. Then when Dean made it to Heaven he was wearing plaid again

2- what the hell happened to everyone they knew? They all stayed dead? They mentioned Donna so I'm guessing she's alive. But what about Jody and the girls? What about Eileen? Why is Sam's wife a faceless woman?

3- when jack became god and bailed on them, why didn't they ask him to bring Cas back? They had asked chuck to bring Cas back. So why not ask Jack? It doesn't make sense. God was powerful enough to bring people back from the empty. He brought lucifer back. So jack with his powers is supposedly able to do the same. Right??

4- Bobby said that Cas helped Jack fix heaven. That means Jack did pull Cas out of the empty. So I'm guessing he's in heaven with Jack and Dean is able to meet with him whenever he likes. Right?

5- it certainly didn't escape my notice that Baby's plates were different in heaven and on earth. When Dean died, the plate was that "new" one, c something I guess. In heaven the plate went back to being KAZ. 😏

6- I knew Dean was going to die and I even knew the how. Had that spoiler beforehand. I gotta say, the way people talk about it...I was expecting something much more WTF. But to be completely frank, I actually kinda liked the way it went? I mean. It's like he said, that's the life he knew and wanted. He tried the white fence life and he was miserable. Plus, he would only do something like that again if he was with Cas.

He wanted to retire remember? After all the world ending issues went away. He wanted to be on a beach with sam and Cas, relax and just enjoy life a little, be happy. Well, Cas died so he didn't get his dream end. Which means he sorted out for doing what he knows: hunting, with Sam. But chuck is no longer there, they have free will, they don't have plot armor. They're just hunters, not the heroes of some epic story. Which means they die, they go on hunts and they risk their lives every day. In the end he died the way he always knew he was going to. And he didn't have anything holding him back you know? The only lose end was Sam, so that's why he pleaded Sam to tell him it was okay, that Sam was gonna be okay without him. He was so relieved, man. And I'm not gonna pretend like he isn't suicidal because he is. He's been so since early seasons. And sure it was very sad to watch him give up easily, not wanting Sam to call for help and stuff. But I get it. Plus, I do believe he was eager to see Cas again. And his smile when Bobby mentioned Cas. God

7- About the confession scene. I was absolutely hooked. The scene was just spot on. Dean's reactions were perfect. Honest to god I loved it. I could feel so clearly that Dean was having a hard time processing everything but damn I could also feel the love in him. He wasn't disgusted by the confession or anything remotely like that. He was so into the moment, so soft, he was crying. Fuck. And Cas. Oh Cas. He was so sweet. He knew how to get to Dean, he knew just what to say and how to say it. His voice was so soft and his eyes oh my god so adoring. I'm so not over it

8- a friend of mine mentioned that what they hated the most was that the last mention of cas when dean was alive is lucifer pretending to be him and using his voice. I agree that it doesn't do him justice. But fuck, the way Dean ran to the door. DESTIEL IS SO CANON. I know people wanted something explicit and yes I agree that not having some grand romantic finale like they would have had if it was a straight couple is very homophobic but damn.

I saw it, it was so clear to me and for real I'm elated about that. There was no foreshadowing, not trying to undo the gayness. They didn't make Dean run to the hills with some chick or do something heteronormative. It was there, the door was left wide open for anyone who has 2 neurons to see it. Cas confessed his romantic love to Dean. Dean was moved to tears by it. He was devastated when Cas was gone. The very thing he asked chuck for was to bring Cas back. If Dean had been the tiniest bit uncomfortable with the confession he wouldn't have wanted to meet Cas face to face again. He's the king of being awkward about feelings, the king of denial. He was so not in denial. He knew it wasn't gonna be awkward because he returned the feelings. I mean, being very very honest, if he were to friend zone Cas, I don't think he would have the guts to bring him back

About Episodes 7 and 8...MASSIVE SPOILERS!!

Initial thoughts (because if I talk about EVERYTHING right now you'll be here for at least half an hour)...

WHAT THE HELL?!

I mean I loved getting to watch the season finale, don't get me wrong. But I have just as many grievances as things I loved about it and also SO MUCH happened?!?!?!

Charlie: Loved getting to see her be all demon-y, I've been waiting all season. Also loved her and the cannibals (especially Rosie!!!). So glad she got to work w/ Luci to protect the hotel <333 She and Vaggie are adorable too.

Vaggie: I really enjoyed watching her and Carmilla's song, that was cool. Protecting her girlfriend, very cute. I liked seeing her and Lute have that little face-off.

Husk: Sad that we didn't get to see much of him, but I get it. His interactions with the others were sweet (especially Angel). I loved the one line he got to sing on his own in that last song of episode 8. 😍

Angel: Ngl I am very glad he wasn't the one to die. It would've been a fun little "oh crap" moment but I really didn't want to be right. He's still got business down there. His interactions with the others here are everything to me, and he's just grown so much and aaaaaa. It's lovely to see! I love him more and more with every episode.

Niffty: YOU GO, GIRL!!!! Love to see the stabbing. I also really loved the...one line Nifty got. Kimiko Glenn's voice is a gift, I freaked out over getting to hear one line. Anyway. not much else to say other than I definitely thought it was Alastor doing a big "oh look, I'm alive!" thing when Adam got stabbed, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Cherri Bomb/Sir P: I was surprised, to say the least, when Cherri and Sir P had that little moment. Glad they got it before he went and DIED. Cherri is such a good friend to Angel and she's great. Now, onto Sir P...WOW, OKAY. Glad we know Charlie's plan isn't completely stupid. Wonder how Sera's gonna react to him being there now, lol.

The Vees: FIRST OFF, VOX?????? "This is better than sex!" 💀💀💀 Truly was not expecting to see as much of the Vees as we did. Not complaining though. It was...interesting...to say the least, watching Vox get as excited as he did over the prospect of Al dying (still as obsessed as ever, fr). Not at all surprised to see Val and Vox have a thing going, I figured from the interactions we've seen so far. Them dancing together was silly, them practically making out was less so 😃. Also, gotta continue the love for Velvette--putting up with these two idiots must take a lot. Also also, her HAIR! HER HAIR!! EEEEE

Lucifer: I reallllyyyyyy enjoyed seeing Luci make a return to help Charlie, even if it was in one of those "last-minute saves" that I usually hate. Idk, makes sense here I guess because he's probably always watching over Charlie some way. ALSO LUCI AND CHARLIE GOING ALL DEMON-Y TOGETHER WAS <33333333 I really loved him starting off that last song in episode 8, and telling Charlie that he believes in her. It was so sweet. I love Luci sm, hoping he becomes a more integral part of the crew in s2.

Adam/Lute/Lilith: HAHA HOW DOES IT FEEL TO LOSE??? Lute got what she deserved with the whole...arm thing. ALSO WHAT--JUST GONNA CASUALLY DROP LILITH IN HERE NOW? Sure, fine, whatever, totally cool. Not sure how to feel about Lilith atm so moving on. I dunno why I was so shocked upon seeing Adam's face. I guess I expected him to...not look as good as he does? Also so upset that he broke Al's staff. How rude. He sucks.

Rosie: Not how I expected her to sound, but I'm most certainly not disappointed. I don't have much to say other than I loved literally everything about her. No complaints--at least not yet ig, need to go back and rewatch the episodes critically. Her and Alastor is everything to me, and seeing them dance was <333333 I cannot express my excitement over it enough.

Alastor: Saved him for last because yes. If I wasn't limiting myself to a short paragraph for each, I'd be writing a whole essay just about Al, I swear....CANNOT believe what just happened omg. Not only did we get to see silly Al in episode 7, but we got to see scary (and scared) Al in episode 8. He's really freaking out, it's so entertaining! I'm so glad it wasn't him who died, I started getting a bit worried for a minute there....His relationship with Rosie is aaaaa, best of besties fr. Fighting Adam scene was glorious. Making Vox act like an idiot even when not trying was funny to watch (Vox's obsession with this guy is so silly). Him retreating sure was a move, but I'm glad he didn't get all stubborn and end up dying. Him ranting a bit in his section of the final song was so...AAAAAAA. Man is so scared, he looks stressed as can be. I need to see Alastor just have an external breakdown because he honestly feels like he's on the verge of one. 💀

context/idea: Lucifer confesses his love to Adam, but he doesn't believe him, because what if Lucifer just wants to complete the set? What if he's just a place holder, a bed warmer, until Lilith gets back and leaves him again, hurt and humiliated just like back in Eden?

Basically Adam's abandonment issues making him doubt what Lucifer’s saying.

Adam looked down, Lucifer didn't mean it did he? He glanced down at the king's left hand where the gold band that he wore for his WIFE still was. "I want to believe you, but I don't know if I can."

They had been together for a while now and Adam for the most part had been feeling emotionally invested for the last few months.

They haven't had sex yet. Not because Adam didn't want to, because he really wanted to.

But there was always that doubt in the back of his mind that what they had wasn't real, that he was just a placeholder, a bed warmer until Lilith decided to rear her bitchy head.

Lucifer would surely leave him for her if she were her, leaving him behind again like he did in the garden.

And if Adam gave in? Sleeping with the devil who claimed to love him only to find out he just wanted to complete the set of fucking the original humans? Adam would never emotionally recover. It took him nearly ten thousand years to sort of heal from the first time.

"What do you mean? I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it."

Adam glared. "Yeah, and how do I know it's just some manipulation tactic to fuck me!?"

Lucifers eyebrows shot up. Where the hell did that come from? "Taking you out on dates, helping you work through your issues and down right pampering you is a pretty long game to play just for a quick fuck. I do those things because I love you dumbass."

"Then why do you still wear that!?" Adam pointed at the offending ring. "You still love her."

Lucifer looked down at his hand. Huh, he kind of forgot it was there. He removed the ring and tossed it over his shoulder. Fresh start, he could always get a new one when he marries Adam. "Happy?"

Adam blinked, he felt a little foolish now. "Yeah actually."

"Oh Adam." Lucifer started, he pulled the sinner in for a hug. "You're the only duck in my pond."

Adam smiled and held him back.

But quick recap is that we were left off with Luci showing up to aid Satan after he helped Sitri get over his depressive self-harm moment that nearly burned the entire town down.

Because yah Satan did the thing and ripped his heart out so Sitri could drink his blood from the source like how they first met and junk.

So Luci gave Satan over to Paimon and now Rin is standing up too, the cutie.

So Eligos and Bimet were there watching because they share borders and found this important. Eli does admit they should have helped but he's glad it worked out.

Apparently Beel was there well in fly form anyway too. Like did everybody pretty much just show up in Gehenna and just stood around waiting for what Satan would do, I'm kinda being salty about that but when you think about it Satan would of being like "nah"

Mammon ofc was like "Sitri belongs to me so I had to check" and I'm crying because even back then....oh Mammon the man that you are...

Rei is adorable he grabbed onto Luci's sleeve and was trying to say something and I'm like THE BABYYYYYY

He's like a stern older brother lmao

But yeah apparently Jjok can't speak with he is Rei so that answers some speculations. That literally means we won't be hearing that little ridiculous cute squeak toy voice come out of this hot man lol he's literally just silent.

So we're back in Gehenna after this little scene and Sitri was on probation and all that stuff but Paimon and Leraye are encouraging him to rest up

So Satan is telling Sitri he's being too mean because the person everyone is wondering who is texting Sitri rn is none other than-

And Sitri explains that he just wanted to know how he was feeling and that there was other stuff in the text message after that but he said "I ain't readin' all dat" and blocked him lmao

The energy from this devil is real.

Ppyong wonders though why it is that Sitri hates Amy so much when he's normally nice to everyone.

So, how I'm going to interpret this...

I think that Sitri sees himself in Amy, like the brute and feral part of himself that was uneducated and doing just whatever. That raw power and sense of being able to do whatever the fuck he wanted carelessly. He relates to Amy in so many ways it bothers him and he doesn't like being reminded of it, it's like looking at a constant mirror over and over of the behaviors you never want to see that you have of yourself deep down.

But at the same time he can't really blame Amy for that, but unfortunately that's his gripe and his grudge and he won't let go of it no matter what.

And also, it seems that Satan knows truly what it is but because his mischievous and entertained by their banter he doesn't want them to make up like ever.

ugh why won't bae answer my texts like????? LMAO i'm just messin' around.

But at the same time this shit is cute of him. Like he's honestly waiting on a response or like a huge paragraph of Sitri cussin' him out or something

he has a crush on Sitri so bad it's c r a z y.

But anyways he actually cares about him? That's super sweet. I told ya'll in the beginning it seemed like Sitri is way more harsh about their banter than Amy is. On his side it's more like boyish pranks whereas Sitri keeps doing shit to literally inconvenience or damn near kill him lmao

And then it says at the end of this event that the day of Sitri and Amy chilling out on their stuff has yet to come but Gehenna was at peace and their devils are strong and had their own bonds with one another.

And there we have it lovelies. The Satan and Sitri event which kinda felt more like a Sitri event again. I'm slightly disappointed as we didn't really get that much Satan lore and tons more about Sitri instead. I'm actually really starving on some Satan lore because already have so much of the other Kings and barely anything with him...

I'm wondering what the deal is about that. Do the devs just not like Satan as much so therefore put priority into his backstory and other things like his c a r d s on the back burner?

But anyways the reason I'd like more insight on him too is that I'm getting into Tokyo Revengers and since this is literally Satan and Belphie's territory in terms of their design and personality type, I'm really just like Y E S ? ? ? MORE??? WHEN ON THE BOIS DAMN.

At any rate I guess we'll all just have wait or just keep griping that we never get anything on Satan and maybe the devs will peep that and listennnn
