When new hyperfixational content appears on your dash and you scroll by it so fast because it’s like no, no, sorry, I’m sure I’d love you, but I already have 2 hyperfixations, 3 dormant ones always ready to be reignited, a multifandom tumblr, and a full time job. I can’t fit you in my schedule.

Being neurodivergent means constantly grieving your old hyperfixations or special interests as new things come and take over, sometimes permanently replacing the old.

Coming to terms with the fact that you’re allowed to love more than one thing so wholeheartedly, so consumingly, is something I still struggle so much with.

In part because I feel guilt for “abandoning” my old interests & not spending as much time/any time on something that would keep me up at night, feeling that love fade to the background - but also because it’s exhausting to care for things so deeply. It takes an extremely heavy toll to give 150% to multiple things.

The way that Caracalla seemed to view himself as inferior to his twin is so interesting, considering Geta seemingly did not mind sharing everything with his brother.

He never attempted to make himself appear superior to Caracalla in anyway, (that we know of.)

A possible source may be from Geta constantly trying to keep Caracalla in line, and Caracalla viewing that as him thinking he just knows better.
