The way that Caracalla seemed to view himself as inferior to his twin is so interesting, considering Geta seemingly did not mind sharing everything with his brother.

He never attempted to make himself appear superior to Caracalla in anyway, (that we know of.)

A possible source may be from Geta constantly trying to keep Caracalla in line, and Caracalla viewing that as him thinking he just knows better.

Anyways thinking about all the times Rayla has been literally buried alive, but also how Callum did so metaphorically during her two years absence and after she returned.

He buried her memory, refusing to say her name out loud or think of her:

It was impossible to say her name out loud. Rayla. It still hurt. She was still gone, and Callum had no idea if she'd ever come back. Callum shook his head. He couldn't think about her. Not now.

And how after her return, he let his anger and confusion suppress his feelings of joy and relief that she was home and safe:

When she came back, I was so happy, but so mad at the same time. I wish I could just forgive her, but it, it, it's so hard.

When I-- When I... when I saw you standing there, I got flooded with so many feelings, I was so confused.

But avoiding his feelings didn't make the pain go away. The wound was still there, and now it was compounded with regret.

Just a Small Detail! TDP season 1.

This has nothing to do with my F/Os so if this bothers you, feel free to tell me and I'll let it go, but I noticed something interesting about Rayla and Callum in the 4th episode of The Dragon Prince.

Callum references Moonshadow Elves drinking blood and calls Rayla a "bloodthirsty monster" when faced with Amaya, and while I realize those are upsetting to anyone, I realize now why she reacted so strongly to it.

Kim'Dael founded the use of Blood Magic, right? Where she drinks the blood of others to prolong her lifespan. I can't find any mention of it online anymore, so I can't verify this. If anyone has more info, please tell me.

Well, first of all, I think Kim'Dael's actions caused the blood-drinking rumours in human stories, but more importantly, to the Moonshadow Elves who suffered through her horrible deeds, being referred to as a bloodthirsty monster and compared to such a cruel tyrant would be one of the vilest insults imaginable, no?

Since I'm rewatching the seasons to plan my story for my OC Nymera, I'm seeing these little details more and more. I wonder if this was an intentional nod, or just a small coincidence in the planning.

Either way, Callum, probably lies away at night thinking about the moment he called her that and wishes the ground would swallow him whole.

Realised upon rewatching that Caracalla sat in Geta’s throne after he was gone.

My interpretation is that Caracalla always saw Geta as of higher position than him, even when they were both equal, so therefore he “upgraded” his seat as he “upgraded” his position.

I would just like to point out the obvious height difference in these scenes, and I think that makes it even better. Like. Her having to tilt up and him leaning down to meet her... *Weird rayllum-shipper noises* My lil heart can't take it

A summary of the new info from TDP season 7 reviews

Some light spoilers incoming, so read at your own risk!

The back half of the season is really crammed with action and emotion. The action scenes are some of the best in the show and have very major consequences (there is death. There is destruction. I am scared)

Callum in particular will bring us close to tears during that part of the season

Rayla has moments with Runaan AND Ethari

Rayllum have a lot of moments and their relationship plays a pivotal role in the plot

Runaan and Aanya also play important roles

Aanya has a very strong friendship with Ezran throughout the season

Ezran goes through a loss of innocence and has to face betrayals “from people he least expected”

Aaravos and Ezran have a conversation

Soren has a scene in episode 1 that is going to break us

Soren's main conflict is choosing between his duty to Katolis and his love for Claudia

Terry goes through a compelling character arc

The Sunfire plotline weaves together with the Aaravos one very seamlessly

There are a lot of lore drops

A lot of familiar places and characters return

The music and lighting are gorgeous

Several plot threads are left open to be picked up in arc 3 (Janai and Amaya supposedly being one of them)

So S4 starts in July (specifically July 15th, Callum's birthday). The end of 5x09 is explicitly 30 days after. Then we know about a month passes in S6, since it was a full moon in 5x09 and it's a full moon again in 6x09 in order to use the Moon Nexus.

I'm assuming S7 is also around a month until the finale (since Callum and Rayla had to travel from Katolis to the Banther Lodge to the Silvergrove, and then spent another two weeks there before the finale). So I'd wager S7 is likely over a month, maybe 1.5 months long? We know the moon phases are at least close to what they should be to each other in 7x05 and 7x06, respectively:

However, there's just one week between a full moon and a waning gibbus (the first picture) and we know it's been longer than that, even though we know it doesn't take a month to go from Katolis to the Silvergrove. It could be more in reality that Rayla and Callum reach the Silvergrove after 3 weeks (they're not taking the same detours, but Runaan is slower) and the full moon happens while they're there / TDP's moon phases in general are never 100% consistent.

Then we know more time passes (albeit a week / a few days) until 7x07 and the finale, with 7x07 encompassing a whole day and night.

So yeah, about 1.5 months, maybe 2, max in S7? S5 takes us to mid-August, S6 to mid-September, with S7 taking place from September and into October minimum, possibly into November.

Then we have Miyana, who has a baby bump when she visits Karim, and since it is (presumably) her first pregnancy, you typically only start showing between 4-5 months. She shows up a few weeks into the season (if we're using Rayllum's timeline as the primary tracker), which means we still have roughly a month before the end of the season.

In the S7 epilogue, she has her twins in her arms. They seem to still be quite young (newborn-ish to the first 3-5 months of life) as they're entirely swaddled.

If she was 4 months pregnant in early S7, then this would be about 9 months later, taking us from early October to early June. The Rayllum Banther Lodge scene on the bridge could even later, taking us to fully July.
