y’all remember in 1.07 there was that random guy in st. augustine who pointed and laughed at ed for going treasure hunting? anyway headcanon jim was growing up there that guy was always randomly popping up to point and laugh whenever they (or other ppl in town) did anything embarrassing. one time jim spilled wine all over a priest and the guy stood up from the back pews to point and laugh. when jim bit the one priest’s finger he was there and he DID laugh at the priest

jim was obviously not allowed to threaten their neighbors but then somehow they hear ed pulled a knife on that guy to get him to shut up they’re like “oh my god i’ve been wanting to do that for YEARS!!!!”
