Can I just take a minute to talk about how much oluwande means to me? To see a dark skin, fat black man be desired by not one BUT TWO characters?? And to have his appearance never be made into a joke or brought up at all? He’s not loved “despite” his size like many many other movies and tv shows do jim and zheng just love him because he’s sweet, kind, funny, hot and really fucking cute.

I love that Ed's arm just wrenches out any air that was separating them. And Stede absolutely melts! They are both unanimously saying, 'Just put your body on mine'. The way they both just collapse into reach other is so perfectly encapsulating their overflowing need to love one another. If their mouths weren't preoccupied, they'd be saying 'aaah' in relief. Stede's arm around Ed's head is poetry. It's balletic. It's featherlight, and it's in such contrast to all the raw passion of the rest of the things going on. Even in such a moment, even when their bodies just full-on collided, Stede is so gentle. So compassionate in his gossamer touch. Ed is just so liquid in the way he succumbs to his desire. He's needed this for longer than he can remember. Go on, boys! This is the first day of the rest of your lovely lives!
