I love the idea of Sava calling Lucy a variety of names beginning with Lu but I know at some point it's gonna be Lucifer. I just don't know when she'll pull that out of the bag. But she will.

The sibling-like energy is strong with these two. Sava, however, only gets called Savannah because that's her name and she hates it - Lucy however is just Lucy, which is what she tells Tim. ---

“So, is Lucy short for something? Lucinda, Lucille?”

Lucy scrunched up her nose. “No, I’m just Lucy. My parents aren’t creative thinkers.” She plucked at a stray thread on her jeans and then forced herself to stop fidgeting and met Tim’s gaze. “Actually, they didn’t come up with Lucy.”

His head tilted, blue eyes narrowing on her, prompting her to elaborate without having to say anything. She envied that ability.

“It was my Aunt Amy. She works at the library and for story time they chose The Chronicles of Narnia. My aunt loved Lucy Pevensie, but made the mistake of telling my mother how she liked the name for any daughter she had. To Aunt Amy, Lucy was a young girl with a big heart, who went on a grand adventure, and healed a lot of people. My mother heard the words heal and took it as a divine message that I would be a doctor.”

“Wait, you weren’t even born yet and she—”

Lucy nodded with a flat and tired smile. “Mmhmm. The minute I appeared as a pink line, my future was intricately planned out, down to my personality and food likes. I think the only thing I lived up to was how I’d look…” She trailed off and wiggled her hand. “Somewhat. I also didn’t live up to my aunt’s version of Lucy either. Lucy Pevensie might have been small but she had big shoes to fill.”

She could feel the weight of Tim’s scrutiny but softer, as if something had shifted.

“Depends on your idea of Lucy.”

“You heard both of them.”

“Hmm. There’s also the Lucy that went out to a cold place, made lots of friends and gave everyone hope.” At her surprised look, his eyes widened in feigned affront. "What?! I know the Chronicles of Narnia."

- Twenty seven!

- About 6’2. Mainly upper body strength, but this guy can RUN.

- White with Irish and Scottish heritage, not very in touch with it.

- He doesn’t remember pretty much anything that happened during Marble Hornets, since almost the whole time Hoodie was fronted. He feels awful about everything that happened/ happens when Hoodie takes over, especially when it comes to Tim and how he fucked him over with the whole stealing important medicine thing.

- Whenever Hoodie wasn’t fronted, he was purely trying to help Tim and Jay, but it’s not like they knew that. Hoodie didn’t necessarily want to hurt them either, he just needed them to be vulnerable to The Operator so he could recruit them.

- He didn’t die after the fall, but he was completely knocked out. Slender immediately took him away so he could make sure one of his best proxies didn’t die just like that.

- Wasn’t too good of friends with Alex, but he was desperate for actors. He was actually stoked when Alex wanted him to play in his movie, then he realized how bad it was. He and Tim made fun of it CONSTANTLY when they were off set, they still do.

- Played hockey in high school!! Definitely dyed his hair blonde and didn’t tone it whatsoever, but he pulled it off. Almost.

- He is SO SWEET. He gets along with absolutely everyone and is super charming. Remembers every little detail anyone mentions.

- Uses old spice, specifically the Krankengard.

- He and Tim have known each other since they were like eighteen, so they’re super close. They have a designated spot around the side of the mansion where they smoke together and tell each other whatever’s on their mind. He gives really good advice and is really easy to talk to, so no matter what the situation is he’s the guy to ask.

- Divorced dad rock enthusiast. Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, The Smashing Pumpkins, etc.

- Pays for like every streaming service. He somehow has a bunch of bank accounts under different names and they’re all stacked, so he does whatever he wants.

- Usually works with Kate, Tim, or Toby, sometimes all together.

- Really likes being out in nature. Almost everyday he makes a goal to go on a walk/ hike or takes a few days to go camping. He usually tries to get Tim to go with him, but he gets burnt out easily.

- Very good at fishing. 1000% has a hat that says gone fishin’.

- Had a really good upbringing. His parents were both well mannered and overall good people, which really rubbed off on him.

- This guy loves apple juice, like to a concerning degree. He and Tim have a two bedroom apartment a few miles away from the Mansion so they have their own place, but they’re not completely alone in case something happened to one of them, especially with Tim’s seizures. Their fridge is PACKED with jugs of apple juice. He goes through at least two of them weekly.

- I could talk about him for hours, but I don’t want this to be too long.

Prompt: When ectoplasm is used to power one of the Fenton’s devices, it can borrow ghost zone physics.

“Wow, so how’s this one supposed to work?” Bruce Wayne picked up the small silver device, examining it. It was about the size of a hockey puck, with a handle welded to the top that looked like it had originally belonged to a dresser. The handle was wrapped in simple black electrical tape with a small button on the side.

“Oh! That table of stuff is not for sale,” the red-head walked briskly over, wringing her hands, “those are just some of my brother’s projects, they’re not related to ghost hunting.”

The convention had, up until that point, been boring. Tim had disappeared about an hour ago, meeting up with a couple of friends who were also attending the Scientific, Paranormal, & Occult, Occupational Convention, or “SPOOC.” An attempt at a play on words, Bruce supposed.

Barbara had alerted him that an up-and-coming company, Axiom Laboratories, had announced some pretty cutting edge tech that could be dangerous if it fell into the wrong hands. Bruce had attended the demo this morning, only to leave unimpressed. Only one of their four inventions had actually worked, and even then barely did what was advertised.

Aside from waiting for Tim to be done hanging out with his friends, Bruce had surprisingly found several start-ups that were developing some promising technology, as far as ghost-hunting equipment could be considered “promising.” The latest booth he was exploring had been pointed out to him as having “some kind of crazy idea they’ve perfected renewable energy,” which while Bruce was wary of most of the people peddling wares here, peaked his interest. So far, however, it had been a disappointment.

The girl held out her hand for the device and Bruce gave it back. “Do you know what it does?”

The girl gave him a guarded look, and he held up his hands and grinned. “Just curious!”

She glanced around the booth, the only other occupants were a couple dressed like they were late for a shift at the nuclear power plant, gas masks and all. The husband, an absolute mountain of a man, seemed to be knitting while his wife flipped through a paranormal magazine. She turned back to Bruce, sticking out her hand.

“Jazz Fenton; my parents own Fentonworks.”

“Nice to meet you Jazz. I’m Bruce Wayne.”

Her eyes widened, and she blinked owlishly at him. “Oh! Like, Bruce Wayne, Bruce Wayne?”

He went for a disarming grin. “The one and only, hopefully?”

She let out a laugh that was probably more nervous than it was meant to be, and glanced over at the couple again. “Just to warn you, if my parents spot you, you’ll be stuck her for the rest of the day while my dad rants about ghosts.”

“Noted. So if that’s not a ghost hunting device, what is it?”

Jazz fidgeted with the silver hockey puck, plucking at the edge with her fingernail. A hatch popped open, revealing a small switch. She flicked it and popped the hatch closed.

“It’s a prototype gravity binder. Uses gravitational force to stick itself to the ground. I think.” She held it out over the floor in front of Bruce, and he took a step back. Jazz carefully checked the ground below before hitting the button and dropping it.

It hit the ground at Bruce’s feet and he looked at her, unimpressed. Jazz grinned. “Pick it up.”

Bruce quirked an eyebrow, but bent down to the small device. An audible humming was coming from it, and it almost felt like it was vibrating slightly as Bruce gripped the handle.

“Be careful not to push the button again. That turns it off,” Jazz said.

Bruce reached down and grabbed the black handle.

It didn’t budge.

Bruce frowned, gripping it with both hands and pulling. It was as if the small device had been bonded to the floor. He looked back up at Jazz, who had a wry grin on her face. 

“Now, hit the button.” 

Bruce did so, and the humming immediately stopped, the device powering down. He hesitantly picked it up from the floor, unable to stop the surprise that bloomed across his face as it now only weighed a few ounces, like before. The floor where it had fallen was undamaged and unmarked.

Bruce handed the device back to Jazz, “Alright, color me impressed. How does it work? I’m pretty sure this thing breaks several laws of physics.” 

Jazz simply shrugged, placing it back on the side table with several other devices that Bruce couldn’t begin to guess the purpose of. “My brother is more into the engineering and sciencey part of the family business. You’ll have to ask him once he gets back. That is, if he didn’t ditch me to explore the city.” The last part was grumbled under her breath.

Bruce looked back at the device. Had Bruce seen some crazy stuff in his time in the Justice League? Absolutely. He had three different friends who used magic on a daily basis. But no other League independent company had anything close to this kind of tech, let alone a family business that specialized in ghost hunting, of all things.

“I think I’d like to meet your brother. I’m going to be honest, this is unbelievably impressive. Has he ever thought about applying for the engineering and development internship at Wayne Enterprises?”

A contemplative look passed over Jazz’s face. “Honestly, Mr. Wayne? My brother Danny is smart, and a talented inventor. But I’m not sure that kind of thing would be his style. I’ve been pushing him to start thinking about college now that he’s graduating soon, but he seems pretty convinced he’s going to be stuck in Amity Park working for my parents for the rest of his life. Not that he doesn’t care about the family business, but...” She trailed off, glancing back over at her parents. Some poor soul had wandered a little too close to the front of the booth, and Bruce could hear the couple yapping non-stop about ghosts. “He does need to spend some time away from it.”

“What are you proposing?”

Jazz drummed her fingers against the table. “I’m in my second year at Gotham U. Danny’s going to be eighteen next year, but refuses to apply to any colleges because of his grades. He... well, let’s just say there were some extenuating circumstances that caused it.” She shook her head, “He’ll probably end up at community college living at home, at least if I can convince him to stay in school. He won’t be able to get into GU with his grades, but if you’re really interested in his work...”

“You think I could get him an acceptance letter?”

“God no!” she blanched, “But I could probably get him to apply with a letter of recommendation from the owner of Wayne Enterprises. He’s smart, and a quick learner for sure, but after... the stuff in high school, he’s convinced himself his life is already over.”

“Hmm,” He’d have to do a little research on the brother, make sure her ‘extenuating circumstances’ checked out, but Bruce started to wonder if this was his lucky day. “I’ll tell you what. I’ll be back at the convention tomorrow, and I’ll drop by the booth around 10am. If your brother can give me a better demo than any other scientist here, I’ll write the letter.” He smiled, handing her one of his business cards, “and I promise that will be a low bar to pass.”

“Thank you, thank you so much Mr. Wayne!” Jazz grinned, taking the card and shaking his hand. “Danny will be here.”

“Hey Bruce!” Tim finally caught up with him outside the convention center. “So, what did you think of ‘SPOOC’? Bust any ghosts?”

Bruce smiled at him, shaking his head, “No, but I think I just found an intern for Lucius Fox.”

sure!! i'm not gonna do too much on hockey related stuff bc it's all pretty basic and easy to find like highly-touted prospect, great skater, played for the toronto marlies, played for the toronto marlboros, erie otters, team canada, etc etc. here's an article that summarizes his pre-NHL hockey career.

I keep seeing posts about Jason collecting moms, but there’s never enough love for Bart and his growing collection of dads. This cute little jackrabbit shows up on the scene, and every available man is filled with an inexplicable urge to give him sage life lessons and tut over how long his hair is getting. 

Max probably has to have a full spread day planner just to keep track of all the other dads wanting to take care of him. Jay is coming around on Tuesday to take him fishing. Roy promised to teach him to shoot a bow blindfolded. Len has him for a whole weekend so he can take him and Owen to a hockey game. Mick is taking him and Kon to a car show. Tim insists he doesn’t count because come on he’s younger than Bart, he just wants to check over his history homework to make sure it’s finished (and no matter what Kon says, he is absolutely the mom.)

Yes I definitely think TK talked about it before making the decision. It was such a hard choice for him because he was so worried his dad would be disappointed, and he's in a vulnerable place, and Carlos is such a steady and calming and tender presence in his life especially during that time when TK was spinning out. I did deal with in my series, you mentioned that in the last ask, below the cut is how I wrote it <3

“What did you want to talk about?”

TK presses his lips together and drops his gaze for a moment. It feels dangerous to even be considering it, but he figures if there’s anywhere on earth he can do that, it’s right here.

“I. Um.”

“It’s been a really rough week, huh?” Carlos asks sympathetically.

His eyes are so big, such dark endless pools that TK can see the frowning reflection of his own face in them. He places a quick kiss to Carlos’s lips and tells him, “I’ll be right back.”

“Okay.”

TK climbs off of him. He scoops his underwear off the floor and pulls them on before he heads downstairs, for the bag he left by the door. He unzips it and finds the application.

Back in the bedroom he hands it to Carlos and then goes around to the other side of the bed, sitting beside him against the headboard. He watches as Carlos turns it right side up in his hands and reads the information on the header of the page.

His brow crumples into a frown. “You don’t want to be a firefighter anymore?” he asks, looking at TK.

TK exhales and looks at his hands. “Do you think it’s a bad idea?”

“No. Not if it’s what you want.”

“I’ve always been better at the medical stuff anyway,” TK says honestly. “I don’t know, it seems to just stick in my head.”

“You’re brilliant,” Carlos tells him, bumping his shoulder against TK’s.

TK smiles a little.

Carlos takes another look at the form. “The 126 is hiring to replace Tim?”

TK nods. “They’ve been looking. Nobody’s worked out yet. The guy they’ve got right now refused to go into that field today, that’s how I ended up there in the first place. So I can’t see him lasting much longer. I think … maybe I could be really good at it.”

“Then what’s the hesitation?”

When TK doesn’t answer right away, Carlos sets the application on the nightstand and raises his arm, giving TK a spot to lean against his chest. TK snuggles into him, wrapping his arm around Carlos’s waist. Carlos kisses his forehead.

“I became a firefighter to impress my dad,” TK admits. He’s admitting a lot of things, this week, and he’s pleasantly surprised by how okay that feels. He could tell Carlos just about anything, he thinks, and TK’s never had that before. He’s so much more accustomed to parceling out the little bits of himself that he thinks people will find the least annoying.

Carlos rubs his arm gently. “I’m not a stranger to that feeling.”

“I know.” TK kisses the warm skin under his cheek.

“Go on.”

“He always used to say his crew back in New York was his family. He’d use it as a reason he couldn’t come to my hockey game or the science fair or whatever, because they were his family. As if I wasn’t.”

Carlos sighs quietly.

“I don’t think I realized it’s what I was doing, at the time. I convinced myself I’d always wanted to be a firefighter. But I don’t think that was true, I think I was just … trying to find a way to get Dad to see me.”

“And now?”

“It’s not like I hate it. I wouldn’t have stuck with it this long if I didn’t like the job. But maybe I’d like this new job better. I could always switch back, if I’m wrong.”

“But?” Carlos pushes gently, when TK is silent for another long moment.

“What if I’m just – reacting?” TK asks. “Because my divorced parents are having a baby in their 50s, and Judd tried to teach me to drive an engine a few days ago and I was really shitty at it, and …”

“And what?”

TK closes his eyes and tucks his face into Carlos’s neck. “He said he’s going to be a father.”

“Your dad?”

“Yeah. The other day. He’s finally scheduling the surgery I’ve been bugging him about for months, because I’m going to be a father.”

“Going to be,” Carlos repeats, understanding and a tinge of sorrow in his voice.

“I’ve just … I’ve never been … enough.”

Carlos’s arm tightens around him. With his other hand he tucks a crooked finger underneath TK’s chin and lifts it, gently asking TK to look at him. There’s so much empathy swimming in his dark eyes, and TK knows how intimately Carlos understands this exact feeling.

Repeating what he’d said the other day, in a soft voice he promises, “You are more than enough for me.”

TK smiles as Carlos leans in to kiss his forehead.

“But I understand why that doesn’t fix this.”

“I know you do.”

Carlos wraps both arms around him and rests his cheek against TK’s forehead. Quietly, he says, “Maybe it is a reaction, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad reaction. Maybe all this just helped you realize you want this.”

“Maybe.”

“I’ve seen you on medical calls, TK. You’re amazing.”

“Thanks.”

“I mean it. You’re never panicked, you help keep people calm, you have all this complicated information in your head and you can remember it all in crazy moments. You make it look so easy, when I know it’s not.”

TK squeezes his eyes shut, the praise washing over him and warming him from the inside.

“You’d be so good at this. You’d help so many people.”

“Should I apply?”

“Do you want to?”

“Yes,” TK says, thinking about it only for a second and finding the certainty he was looking for.

“Then yes.”

“You won’t be disappointed?”

“In you? Never.”

“Not even because paramedics don’t do sexy calendars like firefighters do?”

Carlos laughs and jostles him playfully. “Man, you’re right, that is a bummer. Luckily for me, I get to see you all sexy any time I want.”

TK lifts his head, looking up into Carlos’s smiling face. “Thank you.”

It feels like he’s thanking Carlos for a lot of things, and TK can’t name them all in this moment so he hopes Carlos just understands.

“Of course.” Carlos kisses him. “Always.”

actually i do have a very specific first impression of sidney which is that i was . can’t have been ten, probably closer to seven or eight and i was living w my dad and hockey was on and it was pens vs a team that was not the leafs, and i knew he was a leafsfan so i was like “why are you watching hockey if it’s not your team” and he was like “sometimes i like to watch it for sid the kid” and i was like. a kid? and he pointed out what must have been a truly baby sidney and i remember clearly thinking I Hope He’ll Be A Leaf Some Day… truly my delusions have always been there.

beyond that he is such a good leader and obviously just a huge awkward dorky sweetheart -- there are no stories of bad encounters with him, like, ever. i think my general vision of him is just someone who is so stubborn and willful and good, who has pushed all of himself into doing hockey and doing hockey well and has negotiated some kind of reward from the universe for it. definitely has The Tism. if i were a hockey boy i too wouldve jerked off to posters of young sidney.

also is aging incredibly as both a player and as a guy… i don’t think either sidney or the audience are ready for silver fox sidney crosby. but the time is approaching far more rapidly than either of us would care to admit

i do however believe that the instant he retires he will vanish into the distant nova scotian woods, or perhaps the sea, and we will never hear anything about him again.

The entirety of his Fucked Up Teeth era where he had to wear the fishbowl and fought a bunch of people . I think we don’t remember enough that Sid used to be an absolute bloody menace -- I’m pretty sure he’s either the only rookie or one of the only rookies with 100 pts and 100 PIM in a season.

well let’s go back to the disappearing into the woods thing. have you guys heard of sable island perchance

well u see. there is an island off the coast of nova scotia

it’s got an electoral district and everything. Or it’s part of one. Which is weird because only a couple of researchers live there periodically.

anyway. king under the mountain type au where post-concussions sid decides instead to leave hockey, go back to nova scotia and become a lighthouse keeper/researcher. living on sable island, skating once a year on the thin-ass ocean ice when it freezes. disappears when the sport of hockey needs him most etc

in fact in this au he leaves in 2012, and because there’s no hope of his returning the penguins are. Substantially worse in the following year, not only breaking hard from the playoffs but also doing a leedle light tanking to get themselves a similarly touted prospect… 2013 first overall pick nathan mackinnon.

natemac who is and has always been a sidney fanboy numero uno AND a sicko who wants 2 win above all else. natemac who gets himself immediately into a war of wills with geno because geno wants sid to live a good life, a long and peaceful life away from where he has been and natemac who knows that there is something else going on. that sid gave up, but he is not lost.

so nate and geno play out nate’s rookie year; nate breaks in the offseason for sable island in search of sidney. cue geno coming along.

a/n: sooo i was rewatching the dick turpin horrible histories video and my crush on mathew baynton came back up so i did a challenge for myself to watch everything with mat in it and today i nearly finished spy 2011 and im in love with silly guy chris!!

-let's just pretend you are a teacher at Markus school and (let's imagine he went to pick up Markus with Tim one time) and you were walking out the children. -and when he saw you his world freaking did a backflip. -so he started picking Markus up (with Tim ofc) more. -and he starts conversations with you and a lot of flirting too!!.

you blush but then start hearing someone scream, turning around you see markus on a bike attached to a carrier carrying his dad while there was a woman following them.

that is until you saw chris knock her off with the hockey bat.

-after that you started seeing Chris more and more and let's just say you started developing a crush on him. -and he is a lot flirtarious with you. -until Bernice arrived. Chris started going after her instead of you. -all day he said "oh we're gonna duet together at the summer ball!" and let's just say you we're jealous. -you didn't see him all day, you just heard things from Markus friends that Bernie hates him and that he's sad about it. -at the end of the day you saw Chris again and he started singing about how he hates Bernie and at the end of the day you approached himnear the tree, he had his guitar with him so you asked him to sing you a song and that he did while confessing to you with that silly smile of his.

I forgot how much I loved these couples AND hockey romance.

These stories are supposed to tie up everyone’s stories from the Off-Campus series, but for me all it did was leave me wanting more! How dare Elle Kennedy leave each ”part” as a mini cliffhanger. Especially Hannah and Garrett’s story!

Each “part” made me laugh. A couple left me aggravated, but thankfully the issues were handled fairly quickly. I got so attached to these characters that I hated any drama. I just wanted my babies to be happy haha.

As was the case with the first four books, Elle Kennedy did a fabulous job here. This is one series I will never forget.

Now here are my rambling thoughts…

THE PACT

* Not Logan and Grace role playing at the bar. Holy shit haha.

* Aww. I forgot how much I loved Grace’s dad Tim. He’s such a sweetheart.

Hometown AU I have kinda gone off the deep end with this one besties....

Okay so, this AU has been rattling around my brain for a long long time and I just recently put it into motion. I want for there to be a series of shorts within this AU but that means I have to actually write and we all know how that goes.

Janet and Talia met at a PTSA meeting and have been friends ever since

The Town is some how close to Kansas and the ocean at the same time (don’t ask questions cause I won't answer)→ I just don’t want to take Clark’s Farm boy life away from him cause he visits his parents like all the time and I won’t take that away from the poor man.

Daina works as a museum historian and also gives tours to local schools she likes to teach them new stuff.

Much Like Clark, Bruce also visits his parents all the time and it may be hard when he’s a doctor but he’s trying his darn best

Dick says he doesn’t have a lot of siblings when his parents and siblings are literally adopting everyone the meet

Dick’s friends are family by association

Thomas and Martha were still shot but they made a full recovery, the shooter was not caught though.→ they know Bruce is still scared about that night.

Bruce is papa bear to the max

Bruce, Oliver, and Harvey are all childhood friends

Duke’s parents aren’t sick 

Duke met the family through dance classes he takes with Cass

hiiiiii there... can't believe how long this summer is going to feel without them tbh. BUT MISSING WILLIAM NYLANDER HOURS? okay, i got you.

one of my favorite willy vids is his leaf to leaf with jt from last year. he's just so.. chill and open and happy there idk. his laugh gets me, and it's the same in his older leaf to leaf with auston. i also love the one with zach hyman from covid times and getting to see him laidback in his own space. and then... more recently.. i have revisited the bunting and willy tim hortons drive through content 489324923 times to cheer me up. also for more serious but interesting conversation, i've loved what the leafs have done with their 3 course conversations and willy's swedish menu one was interesting!!

i became a huge hockey fan around 2010, with Zdeno Chara captaining the Slovak hockey team at the olympics. I was watching some random olympic hockey game in the middle of the day and the reporter mentioned Chara, called him one of the best players in the NHL, and said he was the captain of the Boston Bruins. I don't know why this particular moment stuck with me but it's when i fell in love with the game I know that.

I watched religiously for the next decade, and I will always consider the team i loved the most and connected with the most was that core from 2011-2013. We have now reached the time though where that team is almost completely gone.

Seguin was the up and coming rookie. Marchand was the little 3rd line rate. The top line was Horton-Krejci-Lucic, two men who would kick your face in while the other scored. The Merlot line was iconic, Gregory Campbell played on a broken leg, Shawn Thornton would let you pick the hand he'd beat the fuck out of you with. Johnny Boychuk got a penalty shot and the entire bench laughed, Claude Julien had to glare at them like a room full of rambunctious school children. Adam McQuaid was the definition of a purely defensive defenseman who scored the series clinching goal in game 4 against the penguins. Dennis Seidenberg was Chara's sidekick, the german hammer. Tuukka Rask lost the starting position to Tim Thomas, then got it back and became the greatest bruins goalie of all time. Andrew Ference gave the canadiens the finger and then claimed his glove stuck that way.

And slowly, they've retired. My team is gone. The team that I loved so desperately is disappearing. When Thornton retired, I cried. but at least we got to hear about his retirement. Horton faded away. Lucic has had his name dragged through the mud as he moves further and further from that top line guy we had. Ference captained one of the worst oilers teams in history and quietly was brushed aside.

Now Chara's gone, a player I referred to as my dad for fucking years, even to my actual dad. Seguin is one of the highest paid players in the NHL (in actual dollars not cap hit), but not for the bruins. Krejci left but then came back to give it one more shot and that shot is over. Bergeron just wanted one more year to see if he could do it and they couldn't. Just Marchand is left standing from that team. That little rat, that rookie who made the league because he was so hate-able and then stuck around because he was so good. Who everyone thought was just a shit stirrer that worked because bergeron worked, until they saw him play with Crosby and now he's one of the best players in the league in people's eyes.

I love that team, i love that era more than anything. But it finally feels like it's truly over and gone. Don't get me wrong i love these bruins, i love the young guys and the energy they have. I love that it still feels like the same team even with so many different players. But it's over. My era was on it's last legs before, but now, after that game, it feels like it's genuinely over. it's the end. i'm sad but i'm glad i got to see it.

tim: is just a baby!!!! lil baby boy who just wants to be good at baseball!!! “im the baseball boy, im the one who WINS” is an only child who’s mom abandoned him w his dad when he was young (young enough to have memories of her but not totally remember wha she was like) and his dad hattteesss him! thought he wasn’t skilled enough to learn anything else so just taught him baseball cos tim was good at him! this little guy has self esteem issues up the WAZOO! little man was rejected by the love of his life (demps) then made a deal w a demon and demps was like “hey, i made a mistake of calling things off out of fear, can we try again?” and he’s like oh!!!! everything i could ever want!!! and then is painfully reminded he doesn’t :’) he just wants demps and baseball but nooo he’s gotta have a little demon messing everything up for him. It all works out in the end (almost), tim sacrifices his arm to be with demps and they live the rest of their lives together :’)

demps: mr catcher man!!! east coast boy who had a (nearly) perfect childhood!! decided to play baseball instead of going into the family business and ended up with the traveling team. literally like fell in love with tim at first sight despite the fact that tim was quiet and standoffish!!! literally had a panic attack after like a year or so of them dating that their manager would kick them both out if he found out so he broke it off to protect tim, it ended up hurting them both so he eventually asks for tim back!! and he expects to be rejected but Tim says yes!! then his hearts broken when Tim says they need to take a break but he wants to respect it. has 0 clue his lil man’s made a deal with a demon. eventually he gets jumped outside of a bar and beaten, is taken to the hospital and may never play again, but as long as he has tim he’s ok w it:’) and he does!!! tim comes back and they find jobs together and yeah they may have to move later but he’s so happy!!! he’s got his man!!

casey: oh this man is a BASTARD!!!! hockey man who’s a nepo baby. his dad played and won a cup and expected his sons to do the same. too bad his dad’s a psycho and murdered his brother, sister and mom! casey got away purely bc he was at hockey practice and when he returned to the house he saw his sister’s body through the gap in the door and called the police. now he’s traumatized and has to live up to these expectations for his mom and siblings. he makes it but hes traded by like, three different teams and he’s not very good. eventually he makes it onto the same team w his childhood bf julian and wants to make it last, but he keeps fuckinf up!!! man just wants to make a team his home:( he just wants to belong!!! also yes bi and has a thing for julian but don’t you tell him that!!! it upsets him

julian: gay goaltender!!! he grew up with casey and they’ve been close friends for a long time. he’s really the only one who knows what happened to casey and can actually ask about it, everyone else gets denied. julian’s supposed to be a franchise goaltender but he doesn’t want that!!! he doesn’t want to live with the expectations that brings him. he didn’t ask for everyone to take interest in him but he hopes to live up to their expectations. he also understands that there’s people who’d kill to have that sort of stability as long as his play remains consistent enough. he feels like he’s being pulled both ways with his loyalty to the team and loyalty to his friend.

nate: captain nate!!!! no nonsense SOB who may or may not have murdered a man. he’ll do anything for this team and anything to win. despite welcoming casey into the team he low key hates him and thinks he should be traded, but plays nice because they eventually become d-partners. he wants to murder casey high key but his A’s miry and ukko are like “dude what are you doing….” probably should be in jail
