I'm also craving anything portraying the time where Asura was part of the Shinigami Guard / 8 Great Old Ones/ whatever that was called and his not-so-slow descent into madness and his bf Vajra being so enamoured and obsessed with him that is his idea (Vajra idea, not Asura's) being eaten to give him his complete power and being able to be with him 24/7

Maybe kinda in his deathbed after/while fighting, you know, like "I don't wanna die and leave you alone, eat me"

You know, it recently occurred to me after being told OCD is more about fear than order that Asura probably has it too. The way he was treated by his father vs how Kid was treated reminds me of those people that say there’s a “better” or “more tolerable” version of a mental illness
