I kinda want to see more of Useless Lesbian Sam asking out Spoiler. Maybe handing her a bouquet of black roses while Danny and Tucker do weird shit in the background to set the mood.

Part 1

Stephanie leaned closer to Tim. "So how is the investigation going?"

"Honestly, I think Bruce sent us here just so we could pretend to have a normal high school experience," Tim said.

Stephanie snorted. "I swear, he always has the weirdest plans. I mean, clubs, homework, classes, homecoming, no superhero-ing... Now we just need a high school romance to complete the experience."

A wide grin spread over Tim's face then. "Speaking of romance... look behind you."

Stephanie turned and then blinked at the sight of the hot goth girl that had been staring at her for the past several weeks approaching her with a glare and a bouquet of black roses. Behind her were two boys, who were holding a large boombox and blasting a soul song with incomprehensible lyrics past the violins and piano, and one of the more popular girls in the school, Jazz Fenton.

"Oh my god," Steph said.

Tim slapped Stephanie's arm as he suddenly burst out laughing before he pulled back and whipped out his phone to record.

Stephanie turned bright red as Samantha Manson approached her with a determined look. Thank god that they were in the football field instead of inside of the school.

The music continued as Samantha got closer and closer until she ended up in front of Stephanie and Tim was practically folding himself into origami with his wheezes. Samantha coughed and then looked at her friends with a glare, who cursed and started turning off the music.

Steph resisted the urge to laugh hysterically. Samantha coughed again and then said, "Steph. I know we don't really know each other, but I'd like to get to know you better. Ever since you punched Dash in the face, I've been wanting to court you. So... Will you go on a date with me?"

She turned to look at Jazz Fenton. Jazz blinked and then gave an enthusiastic thumbs up. Sam nodded to herself and then turned back to gently present the black roses to Steph.

Steph slowly took them.

She stared at the roses, all dyed a beautifully dark purple that was so dark that it looked black.

In a weird, embarrassing way, it was really, really sweet.

Steph had always been the one chasing Tim when they first dated, but it was nice to be... courted? She had said?

Steph hid her smile in the bouquet and then nodded. "Yeah, let's have a date."

Samantha perked up into a bright beam that completely contrasted with her goth demeanor and her friends cheered loudly behind her. Tim was cooing audibly, still holding the fold.

"Alright!" Samantha said with a grin. "You won't regret it!"

Steph smiled and thought to herself that maybe Bruce didn't always have weird, dumb ideas.

In Arkham they don't allow outside media in fear of the rouges getting any ideas. This leads to them treating the staff like their own personal TV show, this leads to a level of parasocial obsession that can often be detrimental (See Harley Quinn as a notable example). So when DR. Jazz Fenton comes in with subtle hinting of government conspiracies and a 'i've seen worse' attitude they are INVESTED. Meany of them are staying just for the show, their plans can wait they NEED to know this woman's backstory.

Bad reveal but it's during My Brother's Keeper, where Danny is too late to stop Spectra's death ray from killing Jazz.

Jack and Maddie are going scorched earth on ghosts after their daughter is killed by one, then doubled down on it when they find out their son had been impersonated by another ghost for a while-possibly had been killed too.

Phantom will pay for this. All the ghost scum will pay for this!

Evenings in the Nasty Burger diner had gotten pretty quiet recently. That evening there was no one in the booths, and that wasn’t likely to change soon. People didn’t like to see bugs and eat at the same time. Even if it was dubious if these bugs had any interest in food at all.

The girl on duty at the counter stood on guard with a broom. Her eyes drifted more than once to the floor and the shadowed corners around her. She jumped when the door opened with a jingle.

“I’m officially done. No more bugs for me, no thank you.”

“Come on, Tuck, no one makes as good bait as you,” the dark haired teenager laughed, only a little cruelly.

Tucker stopped short in the doorway, looking around suspiciously. “Are you sure there aren’t any in here?”

Danny tilted his head to the side. “For now.”

Tucker barked a nervous laugh. “For now, he says. Don’t you know they’re all around us? Creeping? crawling under covers and biting toes.” He shuddered.

“Hey, I’ll take bugs all day long. They may be many, but I have the power of suction on my side. Danny swung the thermos from his hand, then shook it from side to side. “It takes forever to fill up on those things. Hey, I have to release them eventually, do you think I could dump them on Skulker's Island?” That laugh was definitely evil.

Anyway I love canon Jazz, she's an older sibling, she's out of touch, she's an overachiever, she's an Honors/AP kid tm, she armchair diagnosis her family and other students, she wants her genius mother appreciated, she's stubborn, stuck in her head, bad at helping danny, sometimes considerate, have few/no friends, isolated, top of her class, pretty, innovative, helpful, will team up with her brother to be a menace, ect ect

Yeah that's for sure a sibling. I love seeing a sibling dynamic that actually feels like siblings.

I have a headcanon that all ghosts see the world in negative colors (I actually want to call it sort of a colorblindness idk😭😭😭). and since Danny is a half-ghost, when he transforms all the colors around him change too. because of this, his eyes sometimes hurt and he confuses colors. and at first he often scared Jazz and she thought that he had colorblindness 😭
