Do Women and Men Need to Take Different Vitamins?
Taking vitamins is a great way to ensure you get everything your body needs to stay healthy. While individual vitamins can help you address specific deficiencies, multivitamins are a catch-all product that covers all the essentials in one convenient capsule.
There is no shortage of supplements on the market today, and you may see different options marketed toward specific demographics. For example, you'll see vitamins for kids, seniors and more. You'll also find multivitamin strips for women and products exclusively for men. So that begs the question: Do men and women really need to take different vitamins?
Differences in Vitamin and Mineral Needs
While you might assume that products catering to men and women are nothing more than a marketing ploy, there are reasons why separate products exist. Men and women need all the same vitamins and minerals to stay healthy. However, men and women have entirely different biological needs. Therefore, the amount of minerals and vitamins required to remain healthy differs.
For example, women typically need fewer calories daily than men to maintain a healthy weight. But when it comes to vitamin intake, females usually require more! Not only that, but they can benefit from certain vitamins and minerals during different times of their reproductive life. Menstruating women need more iron and folate than men of the same age.
On the other side of the token, older men need less iron. Men have a higher chance of dealing with iron accumulation in their liver and pancreas as they age, so multivitamin manufacturers typically leave the mineral out of formulas to avoid issues.
There are many subtle differences in recommended dietary allowances. Men and women need all the same vitamins, but those discrepancies make having different products necessary.
Fortunately, it's easy to find vitamins that meet your specific needs. Multivitamin strips for women can deliver all the essential vitamins and minerals females need to reach their full health potential. Meanwhile, men can benefit from multivitamin capsules that provide energy, avoid iron overload and support numerous biological processes.

Bachelors taking care of their exhausted bae after birth hcs 😮💨
Hi, thanks for the request! Hope you like it?
Bachelors Taking Care of Exhausted f!Reader after Giving Birth
💚🏈 Alex 🏈💚
He’d call Evelyn for help like “Granny, what should I do? How do I help?”
Will follow his grandmother’s advice and bring you herbal teas to help with sleep and fatigue. All sorts of old-timey at home remedies. Would also bring you flowers (he’s not sure how they help but Evelyn said it was a good idea)
If you needed a break, he’d drop the baby off at his grandparents for the day so that you could both get some much needed rest.
🧡📖 Elliott 📖🧡
He was there during the birth, putting a cold cloth on your forehead (he’d seen in Bridgerton so assumed that’s what the classic way to do it was - you decided not to ask, mainly because you were a bit busy).
After you’d given birth, he’d just sit there next to you while you slept, one hand holding yours and another letting your baby grasp onto his finger as they slept.
He would make sure you slept and were comfortable, trying to do his best to get up and look after the baby during the night.
🤍🩺 Harvey 🩺🤍
Just after you’ve given birth, Harvey would let you rest - knowing the amount of physical exertion that labour has on a body.
Would set you up with a regime of vitamins and supplements to help support you post-partum. “This one is for fatigue, this one is for iron, this one is for-”
Honestly he would help you so much. I can imagine him being super proud of you for giving birth and being such a good dad. He’d be pretty hands on from the get-go and would take it in turns with you to do the night waking up so that you could get the sleep that you needed.
💙🎸Sam 🎸💙
SO excited to have a baby but when he realises how tired you are straight after giving birth, he decides to hold in the excitement until you’re slightly more awake.
Sam is full of energy so it’s kinda infectious. He’d definitely liven you up with some jokes and make you belly laugh.
Would realise that you needed a lot of rest and since he has the energy anyway, would be more than happy to do night feeding into the foreseeable future. Actually a big fan of it because he likes to make your baby giggle and then go “sshhh you’ll wake your mother and I’ll get told off” but that’s all part of the game.
💜🎮Sebastian 🎮💜
Sebastian is a pretty low energy guy so he knows what it’s like to feel fatigued. He’d bring you coffee (he did check first that you can have this after birth dw) and a snack, then let you drift off while he held your baby.
He’d revert back to his nocturnal schedule so that you could rest during the night and he’d be up with the baby. Super considerate. Would definitely have a lil rocking chair in there with a baby mobile that had bats on.
Sebastian would make sure you were feeling okay and not too exhausted before his family came to meet the baby. He hates talking to people when he’s tired and he think you’re the most tired anyone has ever been.
🖤🐓Shane 🐓🖤
Would make sure you’re okay first then let you sleep straight after birth. He’d be pretty tired too as he’d have stayed up the whole time with you. Would definitely have a nap on the hospital chair.
Shane would make sure that he was as quiet as possible while you were having your naps or sleeping. He’d make sure he got up most of the time in the night, especially the first few weeks after you’d given birth.
He would enlist the help of Marnie if you were super tired, especially the first few days, so that you could rest as much as possible.

COC Day 8 - "Sick"
Sorry this is late. I honestly forgot I'd doodled this tiny little text ficlet. Just some randomness that popped into my head with this @carryon-countdown prompt.
Simon POV:
“I’m not sick.”
I sigh as I eye a wall full of homeopathic teas. Surely there’s something here, out of like 500 different herbal blends, that will help Baz out. I pick one up and read the label (like that will help). “You’re malnourished,” I murmur into my mobile as I read, “which I could fix, but you don’t want to bite me.”
I can hear Baz roll his eyes. “I’m fine, Snow. And I don’t get sick, so you don’t have to cure me.”
“Mmm-hmm.” Maybe this one? Is echinacea beneficial to stubborn blood-starved vampires? Maybe something with more iron in it. Maybe I should be stuffing supplements down his throat.
“I don’t get sick. I’m a dark creature of the night.”
I love how he uses that excuse like it isn’t at least partly responsible for his current condition. Prat. “You fainted.”
There’s a pause, then Baz mutters, “I took a strategic break from consciousness.”
I snort. I’m going to stuff him with iron supplements, then kiss him stupid. “You like green tea, right?”
Baz lets out a beleaguered sigh, which has a sort of honking cadence to it over the phone. “I’m not sick.” A pause. Then, “But I do like green tea.”
Right. Into the basket with that blend. “If I ‘took a break’ the way you did this morning, you’d have had me at Dr. Wellbelove’s within the hour.”
“That’s different.”
Red meat. I could do steak. I’m pretty decent at grilling. And if all else fails, Baz needs practice putting out fires, right? “Really not,” I say after a second. “I’m getting you protein powder, too.”
“That’s barbaric, Snow.”
“Oh, I’ll show you barbaric, Pitch,” I say with a smile. “But only if you drink your tea, and your protein shake, and top it all off with twice as many rodents as usual. And if you ask nicely.”
A pause. “I’m still not biting you.”
Was that hesitation? My altruistic desire to help Baz suddenly seems like a potential opportunity. I dump three flavours of protein powder into my basket, including one I know has the consistency of ground chalk. “Promises, promises, Baz.”

Women in the American Revolution
In Colonial America, women were discouraged from taking an interest in politics and were instead expected to focus only on traditionally 'feminine' matters, such as homemaking and childrearing. However, such gender roles were challenged during the American Revolution (1765-1789), when women played a crucial role in achieving the independence of the United States.
From the very first signs of tension between the Thirteen Colonies and Great Britain, colonial women discovered their political voice. Women were the driving force behind boycotts of British imports, shunning British tea in favor of local herbal substitutes, and holding spinning bees to reduce dependence on British cloth. Female writers, such as Mercy Otis Warren and Phillis Wheatley, helped turn public opinion against British rule, while hundreds of women accompanied the Continental Army to perform essential duties like washing, nursing, and cooking; some women, like Margaret Corbin, Mary Ludwig Hays, and Deborah Sampson, even took up arms and fought against the British. Although women were not viewed as politically equal to men after the war, their involvement proved to be a vital first step in the long struggle for women's rights in the United States.
Role of Women in Colonial America
In October 1608, the 'second supply' of English settlers arrived at the Jamestown Colony of Virginia to supplement the population of original settlers. Among these new arrivals was Thomas Forrest, a gentleman financier, who was accompanied by his wife, a woman listed in the ship's manifest only as 'Mistress Forrest', and her maid, Anne Burras. Mistress Forrest and Anne Burras were the first two English women to settle in Jamestown; Burras would marry later that year and earn the additional distinction of becoming the first English woman to give birth in Virginia. English women continued to sporadically arrive in Jamestown over the course of the next decade until 1619 when the Virginia Company decided to send large groups of women to foster a self-sustaining population. In 1620, 90 single women, many of them from poor families, arrived in Virginia as the first of the so-called Jamestown brides, or 'tobacco brides'. They were married off to Jamestown's male settlers, each of whom paid the Virginia Company a dowry of 120-150 pounds of tobacco. Additional groups of Jamestown brides continued to arrive in the following years.
Faced with this growing population of women, the colonists of Jamestown implemented a gender hierarchy similar to that which existed in England. This revolved around the doctrine of coverture, which stipulated that once a woman was married, she was under the complete authority of her husband and no longer enjoyed an independent legal status. A married woman, or feme covert, was legally considered to be one with her husband; she could no longer own property or sign contracts, and any money she earned belonged to her husband. Once a woman married, she was usually confined to the role of homemaker, devoting her hours to cleaning, cooking, ironing, sewing, and gardening. Divorce was difficult to obtain and was often only permissible if a pre-existing condition rendered the initial marriage invalid. As a result, many colonial women felt anxiety about marriage, with one woman referring to marriage as a 'dark leap' from the familiarity of her parents' house into an unknown future controlled by a man whose personality she may have misjudged (Norton, 42). Still, married life was more desirable than remaining a single woman – or feme sole – for too long, as spinsters were often placed near the bottom of the social hierarchy.
Of course, the status of colonial women varied from colony to colony, and widely depended on social class. Wealthy women, for instance, were usually better educated than lower-class women, as were women from Puritan New England who were often taught how to read in order to study the Bible. But, by and large, women were expected to remain within the 'feminine sphere' and to display only feminine traits such as modesty, cheerfulness, patience, and chastity. They were discouraged from expressing any interest in subjects that were considered masculine, particularly politics; attempts by colonial women to involve themselves in politics were met with punishment, as was the case with Anne Hutchinson, who was banished from Massachusetts in 1637 after challenging the authority of male religious leaders. But, as historian Mary Beth Norton points out, the advent of the American Revolution lent colonial women a political voice for the first time, helping to spark the slow progression of women's rights in the US.

morning routine ! 5:00 am
first, clorophyill water to hydrate and clear my skin. It may also help to increase blood iron reserves to treat anemia and hemoglobin deficiency. then, instead of using heated tools to achieve a perfect voluminous and bouncy hair I like to use a heatless curling rod and leave it overnight. To finish the look I like to put rosemary oil to give my hair a little bit of shine. today is my rest day so I'm going to a pilates class. I love to wear a pink or flowered outfit, blouses with a cute lace or a subtle bow. It just gives me much more confidence and motivation to exercise. drink of choice: "Golden Milk" key ingredients are loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflamatory properties like turmeric, ginger, cardamom & cinnamon. I like to add adaptogens as herbal supplements like ashwaganda, lions mane, cordyceps and reishi. I drink it as an alternative to coffee.

Notes for Outer Wilds World-Building
-head canon heavy, but grounded in reason I think-
Healthcare: Lots of treating symptoms but not a ton of fixing the thing that caused the initial problem as the Hearthian body is remarkably sturdy and when self-healing can't take care of it, it would take some advanced healthcare to fix it (ex. punctured lung, strong infection). And that's not always something the Hearthians have, as why would they put a ton of effort into advanced pharmaceuticals like penicillin and invasive internal surgeries when it's so rare that someone gets hurt to that point and doesn't immediately die from it in a matter of days? I picture most medicine is herbal in nature, plant-derived and highly concentrated if necessary, such as opioids/morphine for pain that can be taken by injection until you get home and can patch yourself up. Bandages and bed rest and going off of what's taught to you (with a dose of improvising) are key to Hearthian healthcare. For the Hearthians, it's less unwillingness to help in cases of disability and more not being sure how, as the tech to do so would need to be jury-rigged or made from scratch. How well this helps varies as some things like missing limbs and damaged hearing can be accounted for but things like malfunctioning kidneys can't. Ironically, diabetes would spell bad news for a Hearthian.
Food: They don't have birds on Timber Hearth or else we'd see a lot more primitive wings for flying, so that means the animal life differs from earth. Lots of bugs and amphibians and fish, but very few mammals if any as fur is weird to the Hearthians. Hearthians are likely omnivores, given their history, but no trapping of land animals beyond insects. I imagine mostly teams of gatherers picking food from known locations and being careful about how much they take, and maybe some "controlled burnings" to clear out unwanted brush and give room to grow for the plants they actually want. The burnings may be more of an accident but the effect is the same regardless. Berries, nuts (especially pine nuts), cattail tubers and pith, water reed shoots, edible wild greens, and bread made from the flour of ground up tubers/acorns/pine nuts is common. This is supplemented by fish, the fat of which (Google candle fish) and the gelatin formed by boiling their bones are also used in many things. Marshmallows are made the old way, from mallow roots and sugar cane. Snow covered in sap or molasses is a treat, made more common with the invention of rockets that let you grab snow and fly it back to the village before it melts. Chera (borrowed from the fandom) is a tough, fibrous fruit that is sort of bready and is used much like apples are as a thickener in bread and eaten as mash on its own. Pickling, smoking, and canning are very common in Hearthian culture and are key ways of preserving food for when certain key gathered plants are out of season. During the insect mating season when the flies are out in full force, people will smack the clouds of bugs with sap-covered sheets of metal, scrape the bugs off, and grill them up into patties like burgers. This time of year is all hands on deck and not everyone likes eating fly patties but as food, it's incredibly nutritious and ground up flies are sometimes added to food that is lacking. Cooking is communal for the bulk of it, with a town cook pot and storehouse being open to the public to pull from, but if you want to eat beyond standard hours or mass-produced fare, you're on your own and you best hope you know how to cook over a wood fire stove. Filling the communal food pot is often a job foisted on hatchlings and the elders supervise. Specialty foods like sap wine are a trade item or are saved for celebrations and traditions.
Travel: Hearthians don't have wheeled carts as getting things into their crater via wheeled cart would be difficult at best. Instead they'll drag chopped down trees where they need to go via sleds or float them on the rivers or lower them into the crater with elevators. Anything else they'll carry down personally. To get around the planet, Hearthians just walk and if it takes more than a day, they camp along the way. Now that ships are a thing however, travel has shrunk the world by a lot- not that it does the average Hearthian much good. The ships are dangerous, prone to causing fires if one tries to land on Timber Hearth proper as rockets plus grass equals bad. A skilled pilot can pick a decent landing spot that's damp or barren enough to not be a problem, but it's usually so far from where you want to go that it's better to walk anyway. Said average Hearthians also do not like dealing with g-forces or potential death. Those are the only reasons why it's not normal for astronauts to ferry average Hearthians around like a taxi service or to take materials from point A to point B across the planet. None of this matters on the Attlerock however, as there's nothing to catch fire there, so ships will haul stuff up there all the time at Esker and Hornfels' behest. Rocket fuel is made from flammable gases pumped up from underground by the mining equipment as waste. It used to be released into the atmosphere to keep the miners from suffocating or exploding (a problem, sometimes those spouts would catch alight) but Slate had the bright idea of storing it in tanks under pressure. They already had pressurized air for the miners at the deepest depths to breathe where air was hard to come by, why couldn't they bottle up the waste gases to dispose of more safely? Like burning it elsewhere?
Clothing: Fabric is made from the fibers of a linen-like plant called flush, names for the purplish hue at the base of the reed's stem. The weavers' house is filled with Hearthians whose job it is to separate the fibers out and spin them into thread. From there, the weaver in charge of the loom will dye the thread with plant-based dyes and use a flying loom to quickly weave bolts of fabric. It takes a LOT of thread to make fabric but thanks to the weavers' bugging Slate into making them into a machine running off water power, the thread-making time has been cut down significantly. However, the whole process still takes a while so most Hearthians only own a few pieces of clothing and they're expected to patch it, hand-me-down it, and wash it until it is literally in rags before they get more. Hatchlings get the worst of it, they get pretty much nothing but hand-me-down clothes as they outgrow things too fast for unique outfits for each of them. Scarves, hats, and handkerchiefs are an exception and are often the only piece of clothing a hatchling has that survives to adulthood, which makes them all the more precious. Dresses- which take more fabric- and anything patterned or multicolored is a sign of indulgence/finery or a very nice gift and is such relegated to fancy clothes for fine events. Shoes are made of fish leather or treated fabric strips wrapped around a wood sole and structure and then sewn in place.
Economy: Hearthians run on a trade economy, with every person expected to contribute in some way. You are always guaranteed food from the communal cook pot and shelter in either a house of your own or on someone else's couch/floor, but beyond that you get side-eyed if you ask for things too often without offering something in return. Fortunately, Hearthians have a strong oral tradition and a very relaxed (boring) lifestyle so most are happy to trade gossip and stories for basic amenities. Building houses, weaving fabric, gathering food, working in the mines, and watching the hatchlings and tasks like those are ones that are never required for people to do, you can walk off and take a break whenever. However, it's seen as poor taste to do that for more than a few days at a time without cause because if you aren't working, you're letting your fellow Hearthians down. If you can't do big work for health reasons or lack of skill, you're expected to pick up small work like knitting, patching things up, cooking at the communal food pot, etc. What most hatchlings end up doing is they either find a passion and just continue with it into a proper "job" that helps the village in some way, they get an apprenticeship, or they get picked up by an adult and pretty much conscripted in order to "keep them out of trouble." Fire watch and astronaut and jobs like it are jobs of high prestige and are very demanding in the body, and as such run as apprenticeships with Gossan and Tektite selecting who they want to teach from those that come up to them and ask to learn. Such jobs don't do much to physically help the village (beyond bringing back space relics but those aren't always useful to the village at large) but they do bring in a ton of interesting stories and those are prime currency for the Hearthians.
Life Cycle: Hearthians are hermaphrodites that breed like fish do- during certain times of year, Hearthians may feel the urge to slip down to the river and release sperm and eggs into the water. Couples can go together, but most don't make much of it, seeing them as temporary dalliances or choosing to put up with being a little hot and itchy for a few days, refusing to go, and then the season is done for them for the year. The sperm and eggs mingle in warm underground pools and incubate there until they get hard and heavy enough to be picked up by the current. Due to how the waters of Timber Hearth run, the eggs more or less end up being carried to the same place every year where Hearthians in charge of raising hatchlings go to pick them up. The eggs are candled to check for life, then swaddled and placed into cribs to hatch. Hatchlings are raised in batches together in the Hatchling House, with sick ones quarantined in a back room to keep the rest from getting ill (so things like measles don't wipe out a whole generation). Hatchlings are fed mash until their baby teeth fall out, then they are fed real food like fish with bones in it. They only are named when the caretaker is sure that they will survive their first month or three of life, then they are introduced to the village by that name. They are allowed to go outside for the first time once they can walk and talk a little bit, an occasion marked by giving them shoes. After that, a hatchling may leave the Hatchling House to live on their own once they have a place to stay lined up, work, and they either can drink sap wine (which hatchlings don't have the enzymes to digest) or meet a certain height. As Hearthians age, the ears droop more, the skin pales, and the body starts failing. Past a certain age a Hearthian just kinda stops healing, as if all their sturdiness is limited to their younger years, and if they survive past even that, then their mind begins to go. Deaths are grieved and the dead buried with song and music being played with a space being left in the song for the deceased to "play a solo" and the rest of the band picking up after as a reminder that life goes on. In a few rare cases, hatchlings can imprint on an adult and vice versa, which gives rise to more "standard" parent child bonds and frequently, apprenticeships.
Calendar: The Hearthian planet does have seasons, sort of, but mostly a "hot and dry" vs "cool and wet" divide. No snow, their winters are just slightly more rain than usual and their summers are slightly warmer and with a chance for thunderstorms. However, there are still holidays involved with the changing of the seasons, mostly tied to when food is more or less available and when the solstices are. The alignment of the planets is also celebrated but that's a more recent celebration that popped up and it intensified into a major holiday only when the observatory got built with its ability to lock down alignments to exact dates. Breeding season is an informal holiday, being a few days in Spring and Autumn where sap wine is plentiful and people are expected to take some time off from work to relax. Hearthian formal holidays involve getting everyone in the village to sing, dance, and play music together around a bonfire. Stories and sap wine flow thick and fast and the best storytellers and musicians are treated to the best food and treats. Musicians will sometimes "duel" for funsies to see who is better at improvising and technical skills, to the joy of the crowd. Informal celebrations, like when an astronaut launches for the first time or one comes home or a batch of hatchlings are given a name on their name day lead to similar events, just scaled down some with only non-busy people attending. However, Hearthians love a good party so many will make time for such gatherings if they can.

Supplements and Vitamins to start your year RIGHT! 💖
Warning: Make sure that the supplements you are taking do not counteract as this could lead them to be ineffective or even dangerous. Vitamins that interact tend to need to be space out by four hours.
Morning
Iron: It is really common for young adults (especially those who are living on their own for the first time) to develop iron deficiency. Common symptoms are dizziness, a fast heart rate or brittle nails. If you have these symptoms check in with your doctor as taking too much iron can make you sick as well. If you are iron deficienct but don't have full blown anemia, you can take multivitamins that contain iron. These will help boost your levels and keep you full of energy.
Allergy pills: TAKE ALLERGY MEDICINE!!! Especially if you live in an urban environment that contains a lot of trees that produce pollen. It is not normal to be sniffling, coughing and feeling fatigued just from natural air. Generic works just as well as name brand.
Allergy Nasal Spray: If you are like me and your allergies are more extreme, I recommend a nasal spray. These can be prescribed by your doctor or bought over the counter.
Lunch
Multivitamins: If you take nothing else, make sure to take a multivitamin! They contain the majority of vitamins we need everyday to function. So if you're feeling tired even after sleeping a lot, it might be that you're not getting the essential nutrients you need. This can lead to acne, fatigue generally making your body weaker. Make sure to look at the label to see how much daily percentage the bottle you chose has.
Probiotic: One of the most important parts of our body is our gut. It affects our mental health and functioning of our physical bodies. Probiotics help introduce good bacteria into our stomachs as it's needed to keep it healthy. Probiotics can also be found in drinks like kombucha.
B-12: This vitamin helps so much with energy! I started taking 500 mcg but I felt it wasn't enough so now I'm taking 1,000. It's always good to start with a lower dose of any vitamin to see how you react to it.
Biotin: We all know how beneficial biotin is for looking good. It helps strengthen your nails, hair and skin.
Dinner
Calcium: This vitamin helps strengthen your teeth and bones. It's typically considered a supplement you start taking as you're older but by then it's already too late in a sense. I also recommend taking the magnesium zinc version. On top of these two being good for you, they help the calcium absorb so much better.
Fiber: OK I just ran out lol so here's a stock photo. Because most modern food is so processed we typically do not get enough fiber in our diet. Fiber is so important to keep our digestive system running. Adding 5 grams of fiber can make such a difference.
Optional
Saw Palmetto: If you have issues from hair loss like me, anemia is so awful, this can help a lot. Depending on your body, it can either help stop the thinning or even help regrow it. However this is a herbal remedy that can affect your hormones. Thus, it can cause mental health reactions and should be used with caution if you struggle with it.
Get Lit: This I bought on a whim from the Sephora sale! It is meant to help with both skin issues and your mood. It's the type of supplement where you dissolve it into water.

Tuesday I entered into a period of what I call “keto rush,” no hunger at all, slightly manic feeling, feel really good and sexual, as my body cycles into burning body fat after a period of refeeding these past two weeks which had followed a period of much more extensive fasting that I did to make weight for my physical. My doctor, who is low key fatphobic and very athletic himself, was very happy with my weight and my numbers generally—low sugar, low cholesterol, kidneys and liver excellent—but reminded me that I had been 20 pounds lighter five years ago ago pre-COVID and said he’d like to see that again.
Due to the fasting I had done to bring my weight down low as possible for the weigh-in, my iron was low, so for the last two weeks I’ve been adding high iron foods (beef, fish, and an iron supplement) and today was when I could feel the reset kick in, very flushed and hot and awake, zero interest in food or eating, feel really strong and energetic, so when this happens I ride it hard—went for 10k run, then upped my weights at the gym for a big pump, added my usual ab routine, stripped and sunned naked out back for an hour, and I’m just going to skip eating for the next day at least but really want to take the fast out to Saturday. Lots of electrolyte water with my microbiotocs, vitamins and herbal T supplements are making me feel really sexualized and hot. Due to the low iron test number, doc wants me retested end of October and didn’t say it but implied dropping those last 20 would be something he’d like to see happen by then.
When the metabolism shifts into keto like this, I usually end up dropping 5-7 pounds of fat in a week which means my daily caloric need goes down permanently, so it’s a cycle that reinforces itself over and over as long as I stay sugar free and keep it going. It’s how I ended up extra lean and staying small and tight as I did for years, and it’s super hot thinking I’m on my way back there again.
This keto rush/fatburn period is when typically I would direct all of this erotic diet-bitch energy toward my partner, making him cum over and over, and his semen would be the only thing I consume for the next three days (beyond my supplements, electrolytes and water). Another piece of how the diet-fetish cycle creates a reinforcement loop—slimmer means sexualized, and feeling more sexualized motivates me to adhere to the dietary restriction.

How can I boost my immune system naturally?
Want to feel strong and healthy every day? Building a strong immune system can help your body fight off germs and keep you feeling great. Here are some easy, natural ways to boost your immune system.
1. Eat Nutrient-Packed Foods
Fruits and Vegetables: Bright-colored fruits like oranges, berries, and kiwis are full of vitamin C. Leafy greens, carrots, and bell peppers add vitamins A and E.
Protein Power: Eggs, beans, and nuts contain zinc and iron. These nutrients support immune cells.
Healthy Fats: Olive oil, nuts, and avocados have healthy fats. They lower inflammation, which helps your immune system work better.
2. Stay Active with Exercise
Move Daily: Exercise improves blood flow. This means immune cells can move through your body faster.
Balance Is Key: Try gentle activities like walking, stretching, or yoga. Intense exercise is fine too, but don’t overdo it. Aim for about 30 minutes of exercise a day.
3. Get Enough Quality Sleep
Set a Sleep Routine: Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. Your body loves routine, and it helps you sleep better.
Limit Screen Time: Avoid phones, TVs, or laptops one hour before bed. This reduces blue light exposure, which can keep you awake.
Relax Before Bed: Read a book, listen to calming music, or practice deep breathing. A relaxed mind means better sleep.
4. Drink Plenty of Water
Stay Hydrated: Water keeps your body running smoothly. It also flushes out toxins.
Herbal Teas: Teas like ginger, peppermint, or chamomile hydrate you while offering added health benefits.
5. Practice Stress-Relief
Try Meditation: Taking a few deep breaths or practicing mindfulness can lower stress.
Take Breaks: Rest your mind and body. Go for a walk, listen to music, or do something you enjoy.
Stay Connected: Talking to friends and family lifts your mood. Positive feelings reduce stress and help your immune system.
6. Add Natural Immune Boosters
Garlic: This spice isn’t just for flavor. Garlic contains allicin, which fights germs and boosts immunity.
Turmeric: Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric is great in warm milk or in meals.
Ginger: Add ginger to tea or food. It fights inflammation and keeps colds away.
7. Limit Sugar and Processed Foods
Cut Down on Sugar: Sugar can weaken your immune system. Try using honey or fruits as sweet alternatives.
Avoid Processed Foods: Packaged snacks and fast food often contain unhealthy fats and sugar. Choose whole foods for better health.
8. Get Enough Sunlight for Vitamin D
Go Outside: Sunlight is the best source of vitamin D. Just 15-20 minutes a day can help boost your vitamin D levels.
Include Vitamin D Foods: Fish, eggs, and fortified milk have vitamin D, which helps your body fight off infections.
9. Take Probiotics for Gut Health
Eat Yogurt and Fermented Foods: Foods like yogurt, kefir, and sauerkraut have good bacteria. They keep your gut healthy, which supports your immune system.
Consider Probiotic Supplements: If you can’t get enough from foods, look for a probiotic supplement.
Boosting your immune system naturally isn’t about taking one magic pill. It’s a lifestyle. Small daily choices add up, creating a strong, resilient immune system that protects you from illness.
Start with one or two steps from this list. Slowly, make each one a habit. You’ll feel stronger, healthier, and ready to face whatever comes your way. So, why wait? Start boosting your immune system today!

Toxicity Risks of Common Supplements: Exploring the Dark Side of Overdosing
Supplements can be a great way to boost your health and well-being, but it's important to take them safely and responsibly. Too much of a good thing can be harmful, and certain supplements can be toxic if taken in excess.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A is an essential nutrient that plays a role in vision, immune function, and cell growth and development. However, excessive intake of vitamin A supplements can be toxic. Symptoms of vitamin A toxicity can include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, and blurred vision. In severe cases, vitamin A toxicity can damage the liver and other organs.
Iron
Iron is an essential mineral that is necessary for the production of hemoglobin, which carries oxygen in the blood. However, too much iron can be harmful. Symptoms of iron overdose can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and constipation. In severe cases, iron overdose can damage the liver, heart, and other organs.
Selenium
Selenium is an essential trace mineral that has antioxidant properties. However, excessive intake of selenium supplements can lead to selenosis, a condition characterized by hair loss, skin rash, and digestive problems. In severe cases, selenosis can cause neurological problems and even death.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D is an essential nutrient that is important for bone health and immune function. However, excessive intake of vitamin D supplements can lead to hypercalcemia, a condition characterized by high levels of calcium in the blood. Symptoms of hypercalcemia can include nausea, vomiting, weakness, constipation, and kidney problems.
Other supplements
In addition to the supplements listed above, there are a number of other supplements that can be harmful if taken in excess. For example, high doses of zinc supplements can interfere with copper absorption and cause anemia. High doses of omega-3 fatty acid supplements can increase the risk of bleeding. And high doses of herbal supplements, such as ephedra and kava, can cause serious side effects, including heart problems and seizures.
Safety tips
To avoid the potential dangers of excessive supplement intake, it is important to follow recommended dosage guidelines and consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplements. Here are some additional safety tips:
• Read the supplement label carefully and follow the dosage instructions.
• Be aware of the potential side effects of the supplements you are taking.
• Tell your healthcare professional about all of the supplements you are taking, including herbal supplements and over-the-counter medications.
• Avoid taking supplements if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless directed to do so by your healthcare professional.
Supplements can provide benefits when taken in appropriate doses. However, it is important to be aware of the potential dangers of excessive supplement intake. By following the safety tips above, you can help to ensure safe and effective usage of supplements.
Supplement Overdose: What You Need to Know to Stay Safe
We all strive to live healthy lives and often turn to supplements to support our well-being. While these products can offer benefits when taken responsibly, it's crucial to understand that even natural or herbal supplements can pose risks if consumed in excessive amounts. In this article, we'll explore what you need to know about supplement overdose and how to handle such situations.
1. Recognizing the Signs:
Identifying a supplement overdose can be challenging, as symptoms can vary depending on the specific supplement and dosage. However, some common signs to look out for include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, confusion, and difficulty breathing. If you or someone you know experiences these symptoms after taking supplements, it's essential to act quickly.
2. Seek Immediate Medical Help:
If you suspect a supplement overdose, don't hesitate to call emergency services or rush to the nearest emergency room. Prompt medical attention is crucial in such situations. While waiting for professional help, try to keep the affected person calm and monitor their vital signs if possible.
3. Provide Information:
When seeking medical help, provide accurate information about the supplements ingested, including the brand name, dosage, and any other medications being taken. This information will assist healthcare professionals in providing the appropriate treatment.
4. Avoid Self-Remedies:
It's crucial not to take matters into your own hands by inducing vomiting or administering any substances without medical guidance. Incorrect interventions can potentially worsen the situation or lead to complications. Trust the expertise of healthcare professionals to guide you through the necessary steps.
5. Prevention Is Key:
Preventing supplement overdose is always better than dealing with its consequences. Here are some tips to keep in mind:
a. Consult a Healthcare Professional: Before starting any new supplement regimen, consult with a healthcare professional who can assess your specific needs and recommend appropriate dosages.
b. Follow Recommended Dosages: Always adhere to the recommended dosages provided on the supplement packaging or as advised by a healthcare professional. More is not necessarily better when it comes to supplements.
c. Be Mindful of Combinations: If you're taking multiple supplements or medications, be aware of potential interactions. Some combinations can lead to adverse effects or decrease the effectiveness of certain substances.
d. Store Supplements Safely: Keep supplements out of reach of children and in a cool, dry place as directed on the packaging. This helps maintain their potency and prevents accidental ingestion.
Supplements can be beneficial when used responsibly, but it's crucial to understand the risks of overdose. If you suspect a supplement overdose, seek immediate medical help and provide accurate information to healthcare professionals. Remember, prevention is key, so consult with a healthcare professional, follow recommended dosages, be mindful of combinations, and store supplements safely. By being informed and cautious, you can make informed choices about your well-being and enjoy the benefits of supplements without compromising your health.

Watching Mad Max, trying out my air conditioning unit for the first time. It makes a loud low buzz.
My trainer did not cry quite as much today. She takes some kind of herbal supplement to calm herself down, and she took three. At one point, she was staring directly into my eyes as two impressively large streams of tears broke out from her own. It was almost like a demonstration of prowess. As we sat together in my tiny office she rested her head on my shoulder, and I rested my head on her head, though the moment only lasted very briefly.
Did not see the coyote this morning. I was whisked out of the office to shut the front iron gates and forbid any cars to come in, because a team of landscapers ruptured a natural gas pipe that ran through the middle of the cemetery. You might be wondering, “That sounds like an awkward, unlikely, maybe even dangerous or stupid place to put a gas main.” You would be correct. Apparently it sounded like an air compressor hissing. The boss called me directly to open the gates back up immediately for the ten o’clock service, and to send Marcia into the evacuated mausoleum to retrieve the signs.
When I got back into the office, they were scrambling in horror because no one had any idea there was a 10 o’clock service. Also, Marcia was a bit offended that she was being asked to run into the mausoleum which may or may not explode at any given moment.
The boss carried on at a rather loud volume all day. She said she had counseling this morning and felt great. I said, usually when I had counseling, I cried for an hour, and then went home and cried for another four hours. But she feels “great”.
We got lunch at the pita place together and talked a little more extensively about her situation. She’s being made the full-time memorialist at a South Side cemetery. It’s just part of the general pyramid scheme of impoverishing the cemeteries for the sake of a few bonuses on top. They want enforcers, not reformers. It punishes everyone, and that’s the point.
I told her that she’s probably one of the nicest things about my life right now, and that I’m going to miss her terribly. I really hate almost everything else. Almost everyone made some remark today about retiring, transferring, or quitting. If not today, soon. I asked her if where she’s going still needs a memorialist in October, call me. I’ll move to Hyde Park. I don’t care.
Of all the debacles, we spent all day trying to get the final date on a dead father’s bronze plaque, only to get an angry call once it was finished that it was the wrong year. It’s on every form but his death certificate. What a fucking joke.
Tomorrow is my trainer’s last day. Also, the district manager is coming in to dress down the GM for the gas leak. She tried to get him to visit my first week in order to fire the superintendent. He never came. Now we know what it takes.
