The Kingsglaive is made up of refugees from all over Eos but it's funnier in fics when they're all from Galahd cause now it's like everyone has generational beef with this one family (The Furia's) and they just never dropped it even after moving to The Crown City.

I seem to remember one of the pixies getting dragged along with all the Galahkari by the wisps. How's she doing?

That one poor pixie?

That's Io. She got mentioned by Pax when they met with Cor. She's the one who nearly got discovered trying to enter the homes of the Galahkari. She took not being able to as a personal challenge. It lead to her being swept up in the whole Thing.

Poor Io has a breakdown when she discoveres that she isn't in Insomnia anymore. And neither anywhere close to another fae. She loses her wings in shock and nearly dissolves into all kinds of colours.

Then Tredd finds her. He laughs at her. Despite her lack of wings for the moment, she turns his freckles blue. Tredd is not laughing anymore.

This is how Tredd got his very own fae companion. They show their affections by playing pranks at each other and bickering 24/7. Everyone else is suffering. Both will vehemently deny that they're friends and like each other.

Somehow, while he’d been being cautious, Titus Drautos had fallen.

Cor goes to meet the Kingsglaive returning from their latest raid and helps them out of an ambush, and meets someone who might be worth keeping an eye on.

Nyx & Libertus (or Tredd) with 12. “I’ve been buying the wrong underwear.”?

Nyx blinked, stopping in his tracks before realizing how stupid that was and stepping to the side. That streak of red flying by had been distressingly familiar. 

What had Tredd done now?

It was too late to be out for respectable reasons. Nyx wouldn’t be out himself if he hadn’t run late turning in those reports and missed the last train. 

With a sigh, he jogged in the direction Tredd had gone. It didn’t take long to catch up to him considering he was still pulling on his clothes as he walked.

“Late night rendezvous go badly?” Nyx drawled as he pulled even with Tredd.

Tredd shot him a venomous stare. “Don’t even start with me, Ulric.”

Nyx eyed Tredd, the disheveled hair, bloodshot eyes, the backwards shirt, and unbuttoned pants. He kept the sigh internal this time. “Come on, my place is closer than yours.”

Tredd scowled, but followed Nyx as he resumed walking. “I’m not fucking you.”

Nyx scoffed. “As if I would ever be that desperate. I know you, remember.”

Tredd sneered, then kept his eyes on his untied shoes as they walked.

The rest of the trip to Nyx’s apartment passed in silence. There was a unspoken etiquette the glaive practiced in times like this. If you came across a fellow glaive in a time of crisis, and you could, you took them somewhere safe to clean up. Anything said or done was kept between the people involved, and no one said anything in the light of day. In their line of work, everyone had bad nights, and it helped to know no one was going to hold it against you later.

This was far from the first time Nyx had offered his apartment to someone in need, but it was the first time it was Tredd. He respected Tredd as a fighter and a strategist, but he couldn’t say he liked the man.

He shook his head as he stopped staring into the blue light of the fridge and actually grabbed the two beers he’d come for. Tredd had already collapsed into his armchair, so Nyx handed him his beer and sat on his desk chair backwards so he could face Tredd and rest his arms on the back while they drank. 

Tredd wouldn’t look at him as they took their respective drags on their bottles, but he was content to wait him out. 

Tredd mumbled something in to the neck of his bottle before taking another swig.

“What was that?” Nyx raised an eyebrow at Tredd.

Tredd scowled and drank some more. He clutched the bottle, curling around it. “I’ve been buying the wrong kind of underwear.”

“What?”

Tredd sat up and gestured with the hand holding the bottle. “They don’t fit right! And they chafe! And the dye bleeds! I’m just trying to have a good time and she kicks me out because of a little color transfer!”

Nyx took a drink to stop the chuckle. “Maybe you shouldn’t buy the cheap stuff, then.”

Tredd snorted. “When I have to spend half my paycheck on equipment!” He slumped back down and finished the rest of the beer in one drag.

Nyx got up and grabbed Tredd another one without comment. It was true, was the thing. All the officers spent at least of some their paycheck on supplies. There never seemed to be enough in the official budget for necessities. Not to mention, the places that would rent to immigrants like them always seemed to charge more, despite the lack of maintenance. 

They all knew about cutting corners to get by. 

Nyx leaned forward to clink his bottle against Tredd’s, ignoring the glare he received, and took a sip. “I know a store on Victoria Drive that has good deals on Mondays. I’ll take you sometime.”

Tredd grumbled but didn’t say no. It wouldn’t fix everything, but the glaive looked after its own.

Random headcannons for FFXV in general, because I would love to know more about it, and there is not enough info for my gremlin brain.

Galadh:

- I kinda see clan Lazarus like those who deal with foreign policy. Also lot of Lazaruses married non-galadhian, they just loves other cultures. (They are still loyal to Galadh)

- Galadh is in my opinion similiar to the Greek islands. Mainly few big ones and then lot of small ones. There is a definitively volcano. 

- Galadh is also known for its natural hot springs. Glaives definitively were chilling there.

- Galadh officially worships Astrals, Ramuh and Leviathan are the main protectors. There is also a very strong bond with the ancestors.

- Clans have totem animals. (Ulrics have coeurl, Arras have sabertusk, Ostiums have kujata, ...)  

- A beautiful legend is attached to it´s origin. Once upon a time, during a great disaster, there were a few animals that went to help humans to survive it. But in the process they have died themselves. Their human friends wheeped to Astrals about this woe. They heard their plea and united the man with the animal.

Random:

- Regis remembers all names and faces of his employes 

- Clarus hair fell out during stress from both of his idiots. The idiots in question are Regis and Cor

- Cor and Titus are actually good friends who are little shits together  (Glaives and guards are dreading those days when two of them are together)

- There is annual boot camp where glaives and guards measure their forces 

- Luche either doesn´t sleep at all or is having short power naps during day. He´s got nightmares about Galadh and his fallen comrades.

- Nyx hair and beard grows super fast, he needs to shave it at least every three days. He tries to shave it when deployed, but Nyx just gave up after that.

- Tredd´s got younger brother who is still in Galadh. Their relationship is sadly very complicated. But Tredd always sends him a birthday card nonethless.

- Axis is great at bargaining prices at the market, also always picks the juiciest vegetables/fruits. (I believe this is some kind of superpower)

- Sonitus has sharp teeth (they looks like shark ones), he can open cans with it or beers. 

- Pelna plays exceptionaly guitar and ukulele. Sometimes brings it to Yamachang for a spin.

- Libertus is suprisingly good singer when he gets little bit of alcohol into his system. Everyone always shut up and listens when Lib starts to sing. (Usually galadh tunes)

- Crowe loves to go on night ride with her motorcycle. Has favourite spot where she can see whole Insomnia. Usually sends gang a random photos she took on the way.

- Titus favourite place to relax is at top of Citadel at night. The night sky is breathtaking. He usually brings some alcohol to drink his sorrows and regrets away.

Is there/has there ever been anyone you’ve been involved with/wanted to be involved with romantically?

Nyx's eyes widened as his ears got red from such a question, "Uh, I mean...who hasn't had a small daydream about someone they liked."

He can feel everyone staring expectantly. He rolls his eyes and grins, "What you want a list?"

"Fine...alright...yes I have been with a few people. Hook-ups here and there... but nothing serious, and it was mutual. More to blow off steam. It's what Glaives do. I am not going to list them off because well... it's our business..."

"As for anyone I've wanted to be involved with..." He scratches the back of his neck looking away his cheeks getting red now, "There's a certain Marshal I have always fancied, but let's face it he's too busy, same for a certain captain, but I'm pretty sure he hates me. And then there's well...you know...you."

March - Tredd Furia

Our third Glaive of the event is Tredd Furia. Tredd's gone through extensive training to become a top-class soldier in the Kingsglaive. He can also wield the Lucian royal family's magic to warp & to cast Fire & Thunder spells.

With red hair as fiery as his personality, he also has a scar that runs diagonally from the right hand corner of his mouth to his cheek. He wears the black uniform typical of his fellow Glaives with red fingerless gloves that have metal studs on the knuckles.

Being described as arrogant, loud, & traitorous, Tredd also views himself & his foreign comrades as little more than "rats" who will be sent "back to the sewers" one they outlive their usefulness.

After fighting alongside his fellow Glaives to combat the forces of Niflheim on the outskirts of Lucis, he returns to Insomnia when the enemy unexpectedly retreats. 2 days later, he discredits King Regis when they learn the monarch has agreed to sign a peace treaty with Niflheim.

After the murder of Crowe Altius and subsequent return of her body to the Crown City, Tredd, Sonitus Bellum, & Axis Arra silently watch as Nyx & Libertus discuss their deceased comrade.

On the day of the treaty signing, the three betray the rest of the Kingsglaive while on a mission to rescue the kidnapped princess of Tenebrae, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, from aboard a Niflheim airship.

During Insomnia's fall, Tredd teams up with Sonitus and Axis to attack Nyx and Lunafreya from aboard a Niflheim gunship, capitalizing on Nyx's inability to use magic, but fail to kill its target due to the intervention of Petra Fortis.

A short time later, Libertus happens upon the burning remains of Petra's truck, as well as the corpses of Tredd & his cohorts.
