The cup noodle sidequest is perfectly placed actually. My mans randomly fucked off to witness the horror of the divine, got his face and chest carved open, then woke up the next day and was like "I have got to eat my favorite food and go camping with my buddies." I realised I completely missed your post!

Anyway, I don't think that SG-1 would start telling Eosians that their gods aren't real gods.Because, well. I'm pretty sure, from what I remember of the series off the top of my head, they don't actually tell that to people just like that.

The only times I can think of where they immediately say that is when they run into Goa'uld and have to fight to get away. Possibly with the help of some locals. Otherwise, they mostly stay silent and gather information.

So they would do that here.

Plus, you know, Eos is very unusual because of how advanced it is from what they can see and due the people here having those weird abilities. (Jack: I'm not calling it magic, Daniel! Magic doesn't exist!) Double reasons to stay quiet for now and gather intel.

Once they have more info about the locals' religious beliefs and especially their opinions on non-believers, they will talk about Goa'uld.

Quite frankly, in your FFXV/SG1 crossover/fusion, I'm just *waiting* for the Terrans to speculate that they've *finally* found the furlings.

. . . and now I have to recheck the timeline for season 2. Because I'm not entirely sure if they even know Furlings are a Thing.

Like, this is after Heliopolis and the Ancient Database episodes. So they know about the meeting place between the four species and about the Asgard and the Alterans, who were two of those.

But when the hell do they learn about the Furlings? Actually, did they even met the Nox at that point ?
