I'm bored so I'm gonna post my predictions for the rest of HB season 2
Episode 7: Similar structure to The Circus, one flashback with Blitz and Fizz at Mammon's concert, the second with Fizz working for Mammon and being miserable behind the scenes (maybe how he started working for Mammon in the first place), and lastly a scene/sequence at the end with Mammon in the present establishing him as a looming threat. Mammon will probably consider going after IMP due to another villain, probably either Crimson or Stella and Andre.
Episode 8: Stolas gives Blitz the asmodean crystals shortly before the gang get a new client and the episode follows them using the crystals for the first time while Blitz feels increasingly guilty. I get the feeling someone familiar might show up, like Barbie, the cherubs or the agents.
Episode 9: Blitz trying to fix things with Barbie and/or Verosika, probably the latter. I'm not sure what else we might see for the actual plot, but if we do see Verosika we'll also be getting more Tex content.
Episode 10: A weird, world-building episode in the vain of C.H.E.R.U.B, based on an old idea I had before the series properly started, a client jumps through a portal and assumes a ghostly form in the human world, with I.M.P. having to hunt them down. I really hope I'm right with this one
Episode 11: The most mysterious episode, there's a good chance this will be some completely new thing (or at least something following from something we haven't seen yet). If it is something already established then my money's one either the D.H.O.R.K.S or Stella and Andre, some people seem to think this will be another Crim episode, which is possible. A friend (who doesn't have a tumblr) suggested that this episode might introduce Belphegor, since she's implied to be a mad scientist, tough I find that highly unlikely I still thought it was worth noting.
Episode 12: Some big Stolas stuff, maybe the first time Stella and Andre personally try to carry out some scheme. Probably won't have anything to do with the plot, but we might learn about the Hellavrse's version of Krampus.
And that's all I've got, kind of hard to believe that by the time all these are put to the test we'll officially be half-way through the show. Feel free to discuss and suggest alternate ideas.

They could never make me hate you Andrealphus.
You're such a dramatic asshole for no reason and I love it. Keep being mean and conniving you gay little elsa bird. Scheme those evil plans.

Ok but like, Satan saw the dramatic swipe of this bitch and still NOTHING, no questions asked no eyebrows rise
Tumblr media
Is he so used to dramatic bitches/twinks (lucifer, stolas bc he straight up started singing and noone batted an eye, Vassagos big star as a T pose to Andrealphus ice peacock) or is being dramatic a Goetia thing
It could also be that backstabbing each other is so comum with the goetia that at this point he just rolls with it and let shit hit the fan

Spoilers for Sinsmas/Sinsmas ramble
So I had Sinsmas paused on my browser to do life stuff as usual, I Will Be Okay was in my head, and I walked back to my computer after life stuff and realized the frame I had it paused on was
Tumblr media
D
Do you see what I'm seeing
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their positions aren't just similar, they're reversed. In "I Will Be Okay", Via is on the floor and Stolas's shadow is standing up, looking down on her and reaching a hand to her from above, which she swats away. At the end of Sinsmas, Stolas is kneeling on the floor, with Via looking down at him from above, and her hand resting on Stolas's, which she pulls away from.
AND THE PARALLELS AND REVERSALS DON'T END THERE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
From what I could see, it seems like there's only one instance where the parallel doesn't totally apply.
This.

Merry Sinsmas, Helluva Boss fandom :D
:'D
#helluva boss#sinsmas#hb spoilers#rambles#ramble#hi fandom this is my first time in these parts please be nice haha ^^'#i love parallels guys#hb storyboard artists you MASTERMINDS /aff#as someone who at most just looks at the analysis videos and has absorbed the goings-on through internet osmosis#the emotions still hit very hard for this episode#which is also the first one i watched in full as opposed to just going to certain clips to see what the fandom is frothing in the mouth ove#hot take: via has the right to be mad at stolas. but stolas also deserves to (and SHOULD) have a moment to explain to her everything#now stolas in mastermind put himself on the chopping block after confessing which is the most blatant “yes i am ditching my life for an imp#and is very much breaking the promise he made to her in loo loo land the instant it was tested#so yes via has every right to be mad in this regard#but#she's also very deliberately being kept out of the loop with everything going on with her family and it's biting her in the ass#she probably knows her parents hate each other but does she know that stella hires hitmen to kill stolas like on every day ending in y?#does she know that the reason they got together in the first place was just because they needed a precautionary goetia heir?#does she know that their wedding anniversaries are “not divorced” anniversaries in every sense of the word?#does she know that stella never plans on having her fulfill her purpose as a goetia#because she and andre want stolas's power like flies want shit and are going to hog that power for all it's worth?#probably not#stella wouldn't bother telling her about it because she doesn't really care for her much (just the perks of having her on her side)#(i mean c'mon “the egg that came out of me” and “his daughter”?)#and stolas didn't want to tell her the full extent of what he had to go through because he wanted via to have a normal childhood#meaning he wanted to fill the role of the ordinary loving father with no issues and no happy pill abduction whatsoever hahahahaaawhosaidtha#so he didn't want to worry her with his issues when she is still growing and that shit is too much for a little child to process#but with via's eighteenth birthday coming soon and stella and andre being even less subtle about their.... their EVERYTHING#maybe via will begin to get a peek into everything underneath the surface and maybe understand a bit of what stolas had to deal with

I'm sorry, but I must argue against this.
I think Mammon will be more of a lynchpin, one entity acting as a manifestation of the villains behind the show's current conflicts .
Given that he was likely involved in splitting Blitz and Fizz apart, along with Cash, him ruling over the only ring we've seen Crimson in, and being high enough in rank that he may occasionally cross paths with Stella and Andre. Mammon has all the connections to narratively tie these threats together in a logical way.
He's the perfect sin to embody I.M.P's main narrative opposition, up to this point in the show. He would still be a great thematic villain without even having to target the main cast directly at any point. After all, isn't callously acting in a way that will hurt others for personal gain the most basic form of greed?
After my last post on the topic, I’ve found myself thinking more on the theories that Mammon is going to be some kind of villain or otherwise antagonistic presences for Fizz and possibly Blitzo. And I’ve realized why I feel that idea just doesn’t seem to fit.
See, let’s look back on the proper recurring villains that we’ve been introduced to: Striker, Crimson and Stella.* A common thread among all of these is that they are actually at about the same level of power/authority/prominence as the member of our main characters they serve as a villain to.
Striker and Crimson are imps just like Blitzo and Moxxie respectively, while Stella (and Andrealphus) are fellow Goetia nobility just like Stolas.
For all that people both in and out of universe have talked up the ‘power imbalance’ in Hell, it seems that the main villain or antagonist that each of our main characters must grapple with is NOT someone of much greater power or authority, but rather someone much more on their level. Again, Striker to Blitzo (plus Moxxie and Millie), Crimson to Moxxie (plus Millie and Blitzo) and Stella to Stolas.
By the way, I think if we want to theorize on a potential ‘Main/True’, ‘Big Bad’ villain for the story and Blitzo’s personal arc (aside from himself, obviously), I think we can ALL agree that the best candidate is his father, Cash.
Which is why Mammon feels rather out of place as some prominent villain or antagonist for our main cast. Sure, he probably has some personal connection to Fizzerolli, but he’s still one of THE top dogs of Hell. Going by the trend we’ve seen thus far, the only character Mammon could possibly serve as an antagonist for is Asmodeaus (a fellow Sin), but frankly I would NOT call Ozzie that prominent of a character in this show that he gets some personal antagonist.
Helluva Boss feels like a story where the main villains faced by our protagonists are NOT these big, powerful beings far above them in power, status and authority. But rather people far closer to them. People who come from very similar walks of life, or even outright family.
And Mammon really is the former of these far more than he is the latter.
*As an aside, I’m not counting Fizzerolli, Verosika or Barbie Wire in this group, as while they may have acted in an antagonistic fashion, it’s clear that they were harmed MUCH more by Blitzo than they may have harmed him. Hence they more represent Blitzo’s own personal issues that he needs to deal with.

Well, he had done it. He had hit the point of no return, putting everything on the line for a power grab that would have made his father proud. He had pulled out every stop, put to use every teaching and lesson his father had drilled into him since he was a peachick. He had attained everything his father had ever wanted, and then some.
He had finally become the model son, and all it cost him was everything and everyone he had ever known.
Were you proud of him now, Andras? Was he still a weak sissy boy in your eyes? Would you finally, after all these years express genuine pride and happiness at his existence, or would you, like his mother, shoot down his successes by reminding him of just how much of an idiot he was in how he went about things?
More importantly, as he began to look inward: Was it all worth it?

I do believe that Andrealphus fucked himself.
Hard.
Think about, you don't have to deal with that bitch of a ex-wife anymore or deal with those damn responsibilities anymore.
Who the fuck needs the powers when Blitz is gonna make a shit ton money from this little fiasco. It was free advertising at this rate.
You could work for him if you need an occupation...
"NOW, NOW, wouldn't want to spill our secrets to the world, would we?"
Tumblr media
he replies in hushed, velvety tones - as always shrouded in an air of complicit secrecy; but he's mostly humouring the grey ghost's speculation on the events - of course he's pleased for the success of his darling imp's murder-for-hire operation, as he believes it can become big enough to turn the tables on hell's domain on mortal souls, even without him serving as a glorified secretary (becoming divorced in the process would at least have sweetened the deal, if he weren't fairly sure that wasn't part of the punishment) - but temporarily losing access to his own legacy, mainly his formidable daughter in her most formative years when she needs him the most, is certainly more than a minor setback, even if one hundred years may feel like the blink of an eye to an immortal demon lord. the looming, regrettable reality of separation is enough to gnaw at his entrails and corrode his spirit like a slow working, inexorable acid.
"--only time will tell if andrealphus possesses the temperament and prowess to make good use of my assets, though I am doubtful he will have enough time to fully appreciate it."
perhaps, as the grey ghost suggested, he will indeed bow under the immense pressure of being a prince of the ars goetia, with all that it entails, including dealing with those who are staunchly loyal to their former master; preferably sooner than later. still, stolas is equipped with the patience of knowing the appropriate time to act.

I just realized something, Helluva Boss genuinely somewhat feels like a shitty dark fic if it got a animated into a TV Show.
Like, hear me on this
-The show tries to tackle all these issues of racism, classism, how the rich (Stolas) take advantage of the poor (Imps, Blitz to be specific), and so more. Yet it tackles all of them poorly.
-It romanticizes rape, Stolitz being a clear cut example. Stolas coerces Blitz into sex and takes advantage of Blitz needing the Grimoire for more sex.
-HB randomly throws incest into the mix with Stella and Andre
-The tone of the show going from a silly and dark comedy to a melodramatic soap opera out of nowhere
-Helluva treating SA as a joke when it comes to Verosika SA’ing Moxxie
-The constant swearing, while swearing can make scenes funnier along with making characters feel more real, it just comes across as edgy since every character just has to have a “damn” and “fuck!” Thrown into their lines
So in conclusion, Helluva Boss just feels like a shitty dark fic to me now. If anyone would like to add more then I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts.

Continuing talking 'bout HB, esp. Stolas and every time I see the scene from Sinsmas where Stolas beats Andre and it's treated like powerful move from Stolas.... I laugh. Because it looks stupid and so in your face. Plus... They simply reused Lucifer's moment with Adam, though I hated it too, it at least tried to be cool. But here it's just a stickbug kicking another stickbug. Plus they treated Andre like a really powerful dude and Stolas didn't have his powers so instead of beating Andre we should've gotten ANDRE beating Stolas at this fight.
Ugh, Viv stop trying making Stolas a "cool" dude. He's NOTHING.

Why does Stella have no magic powers contrary to Andrealphus, her biological brother...? It can't be a "magic powers are transmitted only from father to son" deal since Octavia has powers and magic can be taught in the HB verse to anyone as even a HELLHOUND can use Stolas's grimoire and spells. So what... ? Also why does Paimon want his son to have a precautionary heir, for the sake of keeping their family's magic powers and political influence prosperous, yet choose as his bride a girl from a family of a lower rank than them and who lacks any magic powers ?
It seems way too logical for me to have Stella be the one with magic instead of her brother : That would explain why she was even chosen out of any other Goatia girl who have magic to be married off and produce a heir with powers and why her family did nothing with their son who has powers and would therefore be a perfect candidate to be married off to any higher ranked family who wanted a heir with magic.
It would add layers to both Stella and Andrealphus if their powersets (or lack thereof) were reversed : Andrealphus seeks Stolas' powers because he has none and is deemed worthless to his family as he can't even be married off to someone, while Stella was used to uplift her family's status since her brother couldn't yet she finds herself being thrown aside by the husband she was offered to for the sake of an imp, someone from a social class even lower than her.
All of this is 100% true, but you're forgetting that Stella is a woman, and a woman who has the sheer audacity to not utterly love and support Stolas. Andre is an attractive man. Therefore she's not allowed to have magic (and he's not allowed to not have it) no matter how much sense it would make or how much it would improve the story. All she's allowed to do is scream and be pawed at by her brother.
