After their meeting? If another demon had tried to claim Wei Wuxian? Lan Wangji would have killed them without hesitation. He does not share. No one else may have what is his.

A shame really that there will be none like Wei Wuxian once he is gone. Other demons have questioned Lan Wangji as why he is willing to leash himself to a human without even understanding what it is that he is after. It is not his fault their minds are too small to grasp that he is running the long game. He would not be foolish enough to fall in love with a human.

at the idea of Wei Wuxian viewing Wen Qng in such a light, as a potential bride, it makes any affection he has for her sour immediately.

“Lan Zhan!” Wei Wuxian tried again. “Lan Zhan. What is going on?” Lan Wangji does not answer, or in a way he does by claiming Wei Wuxian’s lips. He is a fool that has fallen in love with a human. He is, he is, he is. How oblivious could he have been?

“What? Are you going to take my soul now?” Wei Wuxian’s voice does not waver, he has made peace with his fate and had always known he was living on borrowed time gifted by Lan Wangji’s grace. “Your soul is already mine to do whatever I wish with, but I want more.” Puzzlement comes to Wei Wuxian’s eyes next. “My body also already belongs to you, so what more could you possibly want from me?” “Everything and eternity.”

Lan Wangji doesn’t care about what he is supposed to do, all he cares about keeping Wei Wuxian alive. Even if he forfeited the claim on Wei Wuxian’s soul until the other died of natural causes, that wouldn’t be enough. He wants Wei Wuxian, he wants Wei Wuxian so much that everything else pales in comparison.

There is a sting in his flesh where there was not where Wei Wuxian’s nails have turned into talons, and when Wei Wuxian looks up it’s with matching silver eyes. “You cannot have a wife, you can only be my wife.” “Yes, yes…” Wei Wuxian agreed although his voice is a little hoarse from the screaming. “A beautiful bride and a beautiful demon.” Lan Wangji dotes several kisses onto Wei Wuxian’s face .

Wei Wuxian belted out a laugh as he was basically dragged over to the bed, however obediently sitting down upon the blood red blankets when prompted. "I see you've missed me. You know I had to go, though, they needed me." He smiled, wrapping his hand around the silky white ribbon in his husbands hair with practiced ease. He had seen this look many times on his husband while they were alive, and it was no less adorable to him to see what was essentially the jade pouting. He looked so upset, but it was just so cute!

He lifted Lan Wangji's face gently from where it had been buried in his chest, gave a kiss to his nose that had became somewhat pink from the rubbing, and leaned back with crescents for eyes. "Lan Zhan~! What's with all this pouting? I was only gone for a bit."

Lan Wangji huffed softly and leaned up to pepper the sun on the other's chest in kisses, not letting up one bit even as his husband giggled from the sensation traveling up his neck.

"I can't take you with me, you know that- Lan Zhan hahaha!" Wei Wuxian nuzzled against the angel in retort, but still ended up getting buried in the other's affections.

Here's the sketches i made for my friend who needed some gay to cheer up ✨ her favorite is COI so that's what we get today hehe [plus a couple bonuses] i like adding writing segments with my art as well so i whipped this up [maybe i'll use it in the fic one day if it fits the chapters i make for it]

A mxtx crossover event where all the red-black characters had to fight, I believe, would result in a very interesting rock paper scissors scenario.

Wei Wuxian, being the Ghost Whisperer, could probably beat, or at the very least subdue Hua Cheng. We know Hua Cheng is weak to Ghost Stuff a la the Mount Tonglu opening incident, and Wei Wuxian has dealt with extremely powerful spirits in the past.

That being said, I think Hua Cheng could take Luo Binghe in a fight. This guy bested 33 heavenly officials, his swordplay is unmatched, and Luo Binghe is very powerful but I imagine that power comes with the side effect of very little finesse. Additionally his protagonist halo probably wouldn’t save him here since he’s not the only protagonist.

However, Luo Binghe would totally destroy Wei Wuxian. With his itty bitty Mo Xuanyu core he doesn’t stand a chance. Tearing through an army of the undead is the exact sort of op bullshit Binghe excels at, so that option is out too.

That being said, if their love interests are also fighting, Xie Lian bodies those fools. I’m sorry but even though Lan Wanji is excellent and SQQ is a peak lord, they do not stand a chance. Xie Lian’s favorite trick for 800 years was to break boulders on his chest while he had no access to any spiritual energy. Dude folded the heavenly emperor like a lawn chair. No contest.

the wildest thing about lan wangji is the way he’s immediately enraged at his own feelings for wei wuxian. because we’ve seen wei wuxian fall in love slowly and surely, right? he goes from a quick interest to an oblivious attraction to liking lan wangji then being infatuated after his return to life, then to straight-up loving the guy intensely. we watch him develop his sexual and romantic attraction equally.

but lan wangji’s different. from the very first second he’s desperately smitten — all it took was one sly smile and he was going through the four stages of love: the desire to marry, kiss, bed and die with him. and he’s so goddamn outraged, because how dare this troublemaker trespass into his house and steal his heart so easily??

he was so conflicted that he didn’t see any other alternative if not to unsheathe his sword and fight the hell out of that idiot. feelings?? for a rebellious teenager?? right in front of my clan’s three thousand rules??? not today, devil.
