Mdzs is quite hilarious if you look at it from juniors' pov especially jingyi's perspective. Going from saying hanguang-jun isn't a cutsleeve to finding out he infact is very cutsleeve and the person that is supposedly a lunatic gay man is The yiling patriarch, who isn't actually a villian the people painted him to be but is a hero and now is married to hanguang-jun and all this happened in the span of like a month or few, right in front of you!??!

They just witnessed the most crazy romantic yet tragic gay love story unfold in front of them and learned about the hypocrisy and corruption of the world around them all at the same and in such a short time, it's crazy.
