Two Years Ago
The moon ascended gracefully in the night sky, casting its luminous beams upon the gentle flow of the fountain at the heart of Cress Estate, resembling polished silver in its brilliance. The evening air was imbued with a serene stillness, punctuated only by the subtle sounds of nocturnal creatures that inhabited the towering trees scattered throughout the estate's expansive grounds.
Within the tallest bell tower, a foreboding and muted light flickered behind the stone-arched windows, creating an unsettling contrast to the otherwise peaceful ambiance of the estate. This eerie illumination hinted at secrets hidden within the ancient walls, drawing the eye and stirring the imagination as the night deepened around the tranquil setting.
Inside the expansive, dome-shaped chamber, a multitude of flickering candles radiated warmth, casting a soft glow against the stone walls that were richly decorated with intricate tapestries depicting the storied lineage of House Cress.
The imposing iron bell, which typically occupied a central position within the chamber, had been carefully unfastened and moved aside to create a sacred area for a life-affirming ritual. At the heart of the room lay the meticulously prepared and groomed body of Argost Cress, surrounded by personal artifacts that spoke to his identity. His favored weapons, the armor he once wore, and an assortment of bourbons he relished were thoughtfully arranged along the base of a stone slab, which was intricately engraved with ancient runes.
Among those gathered were his bereaved spouse, Elisia, who wore a black veil that gracefully draped over her face, and beside her stood Argrin, her eldest son, clad in traditional mourning attire. Onora found herself positioned closely next to her brother, her arm comfortably wrapped around his. The color of her clothing leaned more towards grey than black, as it was contrary to her usual practice to don garments that were entirely embellished in black. Ondrea, resembling her mother in both appearance and attire, also wore a dark covering that shrouded her face in a concealing veil. She stood before her father's lifeless form, holding a lit matchstick poised above the wick of a candle, ready to ignite the flame that would symbolize the light of his memory and yet all that impeded her thoughts were his final words.
“Your presence within this family is akin to a blemish that tarnishes its integrity. It is a mark that penetrates deeply, much like ink that seeps through the fibers of parchment, leaving an indelible impression that cannot be easily erased. This stain not only affects the surface but also alters the very essence of what it means to belong to this lineage, casting a shadow over the shared history and values that bind us together.”
A subtle smile began to emerge at the edges of her concealed lips as the anticipated flame finally made contact with the wick of the candle. In an instant, the fire surged forth, causing the candle's flame to flicker uncertainly for a brief moment before it steadied itself, rising tall and unwavering.
Ondrea's voice emerged from the heart of the room, gentle as a spring zephyr, yet imbued with an executioners last rites.

A profound quietness pervaded the bell tower, with the only interruption being the sporadic, gentle pops of the candles as they burned.
As she turned with deliberate slowness, Ondrea's skirts swept against the hard surface beneath her feet, the fabric whispering against the stone as she drew nearer to her brother and mother.
Argrin's voice cut through the stillness  “This fatality is a dark mark on our history. His fatality will linger in our hearts for years to come.”
“Indeed, this situation presents a significant loss, and the path that lies before us is extensive, fraught with challenges and difficulties. Yet this is a journey we all must take.” Onora articulated her thoughts, gently withdrawing her grip from Argrin's arm to extend her hand towards Ondrea. The moment their hands made contact, a powerful surge reverberated through Ondrea’s senses, filling her ears with a tumultuous sound until her sister's voice emerged distinctly amidst the chaos.
"Patricide, sister?"
Ondrea removed the obstructive veil from her face, allowing her striking gold-green eyes to lock onto those of her twin. The moment was charged with an intensity that seemed to suspend time, as if the world around them had faded into the background, leaving only the connection between the pair.
The atmosphere was thick with an unspoken understanding, on that cultivated a silence that enveloped them. In that stillness, the bond they shared became almost tangible.
A silent acceptance.

‘You'll never learn if you don't try and attempt it. It takes practice, my little sparrow. Do not be afraid of failure, the only thing to fear is the regret of not trying.’ Odessa’s words still lingered in Valeria’s head as she sat at Vahalia’s desk working through the folders and ledgers that had been left in her care.
Over several months Valeria had learned plenty from her sister, ever since returning from the Gray homestead in Coerthas she had taken more of an apprentice role, learning how to read the ledgers and categorize the paperwork, fencing three times a week and balancing books right down to finances and documenting everything for her sister’s return – whenever that might have been.
A small sigh left her and her mismatched eyes glanced around the large office space. How lonely it was beginning to feel with just her, Annette, and Wyland within the estate in Ishgard. The more quiet it was, the more it left her mind to wander. Since her near-fatal accident over a year ago, Valeria had been through waves of varying heights. Recollecting lost memories, bridging relationships all over again and trying to keep what relationships she did foster, thriving.
It was all for naught. Some could argue that the journey was fulfilling for her, as it allowed her to find herself and learn of the things she missed out on during her separation from Vahalia nearly five years ago.
Still, part of her lingered on what her life might have been like had she not returned….
What if she still stayed in Coerthas to wait for Damien? Would she have been in a better position?
Her idle hand reached for the long chain that hung from her neck, the hidden ring that hung secretly at her bosom just under the blouse of her attire. 
What was she waiting for -- some sort of grandiose return?
Ricard abandoned her which in time brought her to witness him moving on with none other than Damien’s sister-in-law. No, her half-sister.
Her clutch on the cold ring tightened and she lowered her head, eyes closed as she tried to remember Damien’s face, his smell, the way his closeness often made her feel safe…
Why did she only come to know loss?
She hadn’t been prepared for it and not knowing what to do with the harbored pain and resentment that nestled into her core. Valeria kept it all in, rising each day to tend to the tasks of the household, tasks she knew she would have to some day learn so that she would be all the wiser when leading her own household someday and each time she ilmed closer to that role she found herself being left empty handed.
“I wonder how she does it…” she whispered to herself, her eyes looking over the collective of work along the desk. So many times she had wanted to have her sister’s strength and to rebuild herself from the ashes of the past; to feel somehow empowered with the stones thrown at her.
Amazingly Vahalia seemed to take each and rebuild a fortress around her. Untouchable, powerful, people were naturally drawn to her despite her rather mysterious and dark nature.
Once more the lines ‘You'll never learn if you don't try and attempt it. Do not be afraid of failure, the only thing to fear is the regret of not trying.’ came back to her and she looked to the necklace in her grasp. She wanted to do better and be better, like Vahalia. She wanted even just a small sliver of Vahalia’s capability.
It was no good to dwell on the past. She would have to forge her own way, find her own path and stick to it.
New experiences, new rules or the lack thereof, new boundaries and new standards. 
She needed to have expectations.
Valeria’s fingers curled firmly around the chain and she plucked it forcefully from her neck, with determination set in her eyes she held her hand over the wastebin beside her and dropped the piece within.
There was no going back. A sparrow with wings clipped by the flames, she would have to either give up and burn or become impervious to the fire and walk it.

Unlikely Friends
In the days that came after coming to Stormwind, the Magistrix wandered through the streets and did her best to hold her head high. With the newly created allegiance to the Kingdom of Stormwind, the fresh ren'dorei woman struggled to maintain her nobility. The howling of men and women alike putting down her now 'tainted' form filled her heart even more with bitterness.
Even if she already disliked humans for their destruction, she had even more reason now to be upset. The harrowing sounds of people up in arms afraid that she was going to be the one who would reveal the secrets of the Kingdom. The one who would be the fall of the Alliance as a whole.
Even as a politician, she knew better than to do such an act. To do so would be treason. She was just exiled from her home of Quel'thalas. Why would she dare allow herself to be exiled a second time?
It didn't seem to matter to the people of Stormwind of her plight. Instead, she clung to the dark shadows of the city's buildings and worked to find her own sense of peace within the Stormwind.
In the late hours of the night as she made herself to home to her quaint room in the tavern, the shame and guilt crept into her life. Struggling to feel as if she made the right choice, she'd think of what her Ann'da and Minn'da would think. Would they be proud? Would they be devastated? Would they also cast her aside? Or would they have supported her choice?
The difference was that her parents had passed on, and she went through the void for no other reason than she had nothing left to lose. Surely her parents would understand, right?

Knock knock knock.
The thud upon the door startled Zariasona, and she looked to the door. "Who is it?" A feminine voice came from the other side. "Agnes Cooke. I am sure you are busy, but I was hoping to see if you had any spare food for an old woman."
With a heavy sigh, Zariasona looked down at her purple fingers. "You wouldn't want anything from me, Miss Cooke. I can assure you of that."
What she heard next startled her. "Are you afraid that as a ren'dorei I will in turn scream awful things at you? I can assure you that I hardly have the time for such things. I'm merely hungry."
Silence fell over the room as Zariasona pondered her next choice of words and actions. It didn't take long for her to push herself to her feet and open the door. The moment the door opened, the Magistrix saw a frail woman with frizzy grey hair that turned blonde at the ends, with dulled green eyes. Wrinkles were not overly prominent upon her face, but it certainly showed her age enough.
"You do not fear me?" Zariasona asked the woman.
"Do you fear me?" Agnes spoke in return.
"Very much so, I must confess. I've been in this city all of a few days and seen such horrors I have never seen in my life. What makes you different?"
Agnes was silent a moment, offering a small smile to the woman. "You at least opened the door for me, did you not? Only you can tell me what makes me different from others." The question struck Zariasona in a way she didn't expect. It was true, she did open the door for her while others she told off in one fashion or another. "Would you be so kind as to join me this evening? I happened to have more than enough food for myself. I fear they brought me a steak I simply cannot eat."
"I thank you for your kindness, Madam." If Agnes were in better health, the bow would have been much better. With her fragility, however, it was hard for her to muster.
Minutes turned to hours, and before either of them knew it the sun was rising up over the horizon of the city. In that time, the two had become well acquainted with one another and a deal was struck between the two.
Zariasona would ensure that Agnes had everything she needed: clothes, food, a home. In return, Agnes would ensure that where every they lived remained clean, tended to, and meals were properly prepared for the both of them.
What was meant to be a means to an end for them both had turned into a lifelong friendship.

How To (Realistically) Make A Habit Of Writing
To clarify: Works with my autism. WORKS WITH MY AUTISM!!! I’ve been meeting my goals since I made them my New Year’s resolution! Anyway I’m so sick of all those ‘how to’ guides that don’t actually tell you what the process is they’re just like ‘just do it, but don’t burn yourself out, do what’s best for you!’ because you’re not telling me what I’m not supposed to be burning myself out over but okay, so I made my own. Hope this helps
1. Choose your fighter metric. What works better for you as a measurement of your progress; time spent writing or your word count? Personally I get very motivated and encouraged by seeing my word count go up and making a note of where it should be when I’m done, so I measure by that. At the same time, a lot of people are also very discouraged by their word count and it can negatively impact their motivation to write, and in that case you may be better off working from how much time you spend writing rather than where the word count is
2. Choose your starter Pokémon time frame. How often can you write before it starts to feel like a chore or a burden rather than something fun you look forward to? Many people believe that they have to write daily, but for some people this can do more harm than good. Maybe every two or three days? Weekly? Figure out what fits your schedule and go with it
3. Choose your funny third joke goal. Now that you’ve got your chosen time frame to complete your goal in, what’s a reasonable goal to aim to complete within that time frame based on the metric you chose? If your metric is your word count, how much can you reasonably and consistently write within your chosen time frame? If your metric is time spent writing, how much time can you reasonably and consistently spend writing within that time? Maybe 1000 words per week works, or maybe 10 minutes per day? The goal here is to find something that works for you and your own schedule without burning you out
4. Trial and error. Experiment with your new target and adapt it accordingly. Most people can’t consistently write 1667 words per day like you do in NaNoWriMo, so we want to avoid that and aim somewhere more reasonable. If you feel like it’s too much to do in such a short time frame, either give yourself less to do or more time to do it in. If you find yourself begrudgingly writing so often that it constantly feels more like a chore than something fun, maybe consider adapting things. And if you think that you gave yourself too much wiggle room and you could do more than this consistently, give yourself more of a challenge. Everything needs to suit you and your pace and needs
5. Run your own race. Don’t feel like you’re not accomplishing enough in comparison to others or not working fast enough to satisfy some arbitrary feeling of doubt. Everybody works at their own pace and slower work doesn’t mean worse work. You could be on one word per day and you’ll still see consistent results, which is still one word per day more than you could originally count on. All progress is progress, regardless of its speed

get anything you desire overnight; what is SATS? how do i use it? — a quick guide.

STATS is short for “state akin to sleep,” a phrase used by neville goddard several times.
for example, one of neville's most popular experiments utilizing SATS is called the "ladder experiment". this experiement demonstrates how useful sats is.
what was the experiment?
1. During one of his lectures, Neville instructed his students to visualize themselves climbing a ladder vividly. He asked them to repeatedly imagine this scenario in detail each night before going to bed. They were to feel themselves climbing the ladder, using all their senses to make it as real as possible.
2. on top of this, Neville told them to write down or say affirmations throughout the day such as, "I will not climb a ladder." This was meant to consciously contradict their nightly visualizations, creating a sense of disbelief in the process. The challenge was to see whether their repeated visualization of the ladder would override the conscious denial of the event.
3. Many of the participants reported that within a few days, despite their daily affirmation of "I will not climb a ladder," they ended up encountering situations in which they physically climbed a ladder. The experiment was intended to show that the subconscious mind, which was being impressed by the vivid visualization during the SATS state, was far more powerful than their conscious thoughts or affirmations.
essentially, Neville wanted to show that imagination, particularly when focused in the relaxed state akin to sleep, could create real-life outcomes, aka — attract your desires instantly.
so . . . how do i use SATS?
1. relax. sit or lie down, and relax your mind and body. this method does not need to be used at night. many people have used it during the day and have gone to sleep for only a few moments before waking up with their desire. This is basically just a form of meditation. A similar mental state occurs naturally in the morning right after awakening, and in the evening before bed, hence why some may prefer to do this method at night despite it not being mandatory.
2. embody the feeling. now while in this state, visualize your goal. Feel your desire completely. want someone to text you? imagine yourself opening your phone to that text message. want a new car? imagine yourself feeling the interior, smelling the new car freshener, testing out the radio. whatever it is, fully immerse yourself in the desire.
3. focus and persist. loop this desire on repeat as you fall asleep, it should be the only focus on your mind. quickly shift any other thoughts that may appear, back onto your desire. the more you do this, the more you'll feel the desire completely.
brief comments;
1. over time, it becomes more and more natural. it's very easy to get into the habit of using SATS to manifest whatever you desire. i often find myself using it without even intending to, just randomly deciding i want something and it becomes all i think about as i fall asleep. it's a very natural method that's easy to custom to.
2. yes, you can use this for shifting realities. there's a reason why so many people "randomly" shift when they stop using long complicated methods and just go to sleep with their DR in mind.
3. you don't need to take action. you don't necessarily need to do anything when manifesting. this doesn't just apply for SATS, but any other form of manifestation. you don't need to take action or do anything further to get your desires if you don't feel like it. remember; they're already yours. they can fall into your hands out of the blue. you don't need to put in effort.
i used several different articles and videos for this to explain it in the most simple way possible, since i know a lot of people tend to struggle with understanding this stuff to the maximum!! so i hope this is easy to read! ૮ ◞ ⸝⸝ ◟ ྀིა
4. does this mean affirmations don't work?
no, it does not. affirmations DO still work for LOA. you CAN achieve anything through affirmations, it was never stated that you couldn't or that SATS is the only way. this only states that according to neville goddards experiement, sats appears to be a more powerful method than affirmations and that's how he viewed it. more powerful doesn't equate to the other method being completely incorrect or impossible. i also personally find this method to work a lot quicker as well.. similar to the void state.

it’s important to have different routines ready to match your mood and energy level. which is why I believe preparing for self care days for when you’re just not feeling your best is essential and a great way to look out for yourself. here’s my guide to self care days for low energy.

despite your low energy, it’s important you still get your daily movement. however, exercise doesn’t always have to be intense.
try doing one of these
— 2 minutes of touching/trying to touch your toes
— 5-7 minutes of full body stretching
— 10 minutes of yoga
or maybe just stretch your neck, roll your shoulders, and take a few deep breaths. whatever you’re ready to do :)

the last thing you want to do is give your mind the responsibility of remembering your tasks. i don’t care how little you have on your schedule, write a to do list. on a low energy day, it’s important we’re easy on ourselves. getting everything out of our head and onto a piece of paper will not only make tasks seem more manageable but will also make our minds feel a bit lighter.
write everything. I mean it. even the small and seemingly insignificant tasks. even the parts of your routine that you do everyday anyways, write it all down.

even though we’re a little bit down, that doesn’t mean we can cheat on the promises and boundaries we made with ourselves.
a low energy day doesn’t mean you can jump right back into your old habits. you’ll only feel worse if you do. it can be comforting to spend the whole day in bed, liking relatable TikToks and having a 7 hour screen time. but that’s not real rest. do something that’ll nourish you while also making you feel relaxed and comfortable. whether that’s watching an episode of your comfort show, rereading a chapter of your favorite book, or listening to your all time favorite songs while you just relax.
low energy is not a reason to practice unhealthy bad habits.

1. Daily Self-Care Routine
Start small by adding one or two self-care habits to your daily routine, like stretching for 5 minutes in the morning or writing down three goals for the day ( like drinking more water ).
2. Be kind to yourself
Tip: Create a habit of switching your mindset and words. Try saying “I am capable of achieving my goals” or “I deserve to take care of myself.” instead of discarding your needs and feelings.
3. Add little challenges to your day
Try a 30-day personal challenge, like journaling every morning, starting a workout routine, or reading 10 pages of any book you like each day.
4. Dealing with burnout
Reserve one day of the week for self-care and doing things you enjoy. Even if you can't take the full day for yourself try to make it at least two hours for a good and relaxing shower, taking care of your skin, hair and body. Maybe you can even treat yourself to your favourite meal!
5. Productivity Hacks
Break tasks into smaller, manageable chunks, and set a timer (like the Pomodoro technique—50 minutes of work followed by a 10-minute break) to stay productive without feeling overwhelmed.
Tip: If a task takes less than two minutes to complete (like answering a quick email or tidying up your desk), do it immediately. This prevents small tasks from piling up and becoming overwhelming.

fall is here. It's time to lock in. weight loss edition.
intro:
after taking a miniature break I have finally decided to track my weight loss journey here, to keep me motivated and to track my progress.
there are approximately 3 months left in the year (without september) and in that time I want to focus on my weight loss and lock in. I will take a break from creating notion templates and focus on skills and hobbies.
why 3 months? simply because that's what's left in this year and also because most people start seeing results after 3 months.
details:
so I started this challenge last week and here are a few things I've achieved last week. I worked out for the whole week. I hit 10k steps daily from tuesday didn't do so well on monday. I also completed my daily workout cycle for the most part.
✿ my main goal is losing weight really just reaching my weight goal which is 42kg - p.s I'm short
✿ I will try my best to update daily and I also have a physical journal that I will update every night before bed

i do think the stakes are not in my favour and I might not reach my goal at the end of the year but at least I can try.
so I will be uploading my workouts weekly, at the beginning of every week as to keep myself motivated to do them and for as many that would like to go on this journey with me. at the end of those 3 months, I will update this blog post.
✿ This is the habits i want to achieve each day also I plan to have a set eating time between 12pm and 8pm everyday. i will write about what I eat I'm also not going to be really dieting or cutting out foods just minimizing my portions
habit tracking:
maintain calorie deficit of 1200 hit 10k steps 7+ hrs of sleep 2l of water 30mins+ of movement journal progress movement cycle [3/3] eat between 12 pm and 8 pm
✿ : my days will mainly be filled up with reading (adrinette fics), language learning, crocheting, organizing, blogging, Bible study, watching(might continue Gilmore Girls) and more
decided to add workouts to my daily updates instead

12/5/22 Writing Entry: The Threshold Guardian
In the midst of the sea of memories, you can almost forget about the real word. Of blue seas, blues skies, and blue pangs inside your chest whenever you’re a bit too close to reaching the surface.
You know that there is no going back from the drifting wasteland of intangible and metaphysical decrees that drive you to reach the long lost truth of your destiny. To be honest, there probably is nothing at the end of your road. Yet still, the promise of anything at all to spite the face of a silent universe lets you flip the coin to make the decision.
You’ve always been some sort of indecisive. A level of insecurity in the midst of all the confidence you wear like a joke. The coin keeps you on track. Lets you know what you really want.
There’s too many potent memories in this sector of the waters, if you stay too long then they will swallow you whole. Just like what they did to Ben. But better to end up like Ben, quiet, lovable, thoughtful Ben, then to end up like Venus and be a shell that could fit no memories at all. 
Water’s too blue, you note. The memories are all too blue, the taste of artificial blue raspberry in your mouth, the scent of seawater flooding your nose. 
Blue is not your color. Green is not your color. Yellow is not your color.
You wade deeper. Approaching the threshold of containment. It never mattered anyways, the rumor of it leaking psychic influence is false, it doesn’t contaminate people more than the sectors that are deemed safe.
It is on the line where you see her. She’s red. The red that you’ve always taken for yourself. And you are floating out here in the blue. Abigail is red. She’s not here though. You killed here. 
She stands, a specter, a ghost. As if she expects you to feel remorse. Once upon a time you would have felt sorry, felt bad. But now you feel nothing. Nothing but a single minded satisfaction as you come closer, cease her by the neck, and plunge her into the blue.
The red does not belong to her. Abigail is not red.

Hey cutiesss! Welcome to Stressed to Blessed July!!! I am very excited about this challenge and I hope you guys are too. The way this challenge is going to work is a little different than Healthy Girl June. I want this to be a little more personalized to the individual person doing this challenge. That being said instead of giving you daily tasks I want to give you daily journal prompts and then maybe a couple weekly tasks+ the daily rules that will be below. I think this will work better for this challenge and allow you to improve what you need to improve.🧘🏼‍♀️🎧🕊️🤍
Rules!
You must complete 3 daily tasks that go towards your goal as a whole every single day! These tasks will be set by you the night prior.
You must block off and hour in the mornings and an hour at night for self care and relaxation (no work/phones allowed)
Everyday you will complete a 10-20 minute reset on your space to keep the area clean and stress free.
Journal everyday (I will be giving journal prompts but if you want you can do different ones as long as you journal every day)
What to do before July
Write down a list of what is stressing you out the most and why that is.
From that list create goals that will lessen the stress that is caused by it (if you guys want to send in asks I can help come up with ideas for goals)
These goals then become the tasks you will do every day.

what comes after level 0? like, level 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; etc.
Level 0 is getting yourself to a base level of daily self discipline, taking care of your health and appearance, and having things to do besides scrolling all day. The bare minimum of feeling good about yourself long term and being a functioning person.
Level 1 is to figure out what’s wrong with your life and come up with a tangible and measurable plan on how to fix it. What to cut out, what to invite in, how long it’ll take to save up for xyz, what credit score you need for such and such, what habits need to be dropped immediately, etc. Figuring out how to go from who you are now to the early stages of who you want to be. Level 1 is coming to terms with who and are and what you want, doing the research, and making a game plan. It's making sure you don't keep sliding backwards. Why is this level 1 and not level 0? Bc when people are in a subpar place, taking an audit of how they’ve failed themselves leads to more despair and a feeling of hopelessness. People who have gotten themselves to a semblance of health and daily discipline will do this and feel revved up for a challenge.
If you’ve been working out every day, eating well, taking care of your looks, enjoying your hobbies and taking 30 minutes to build a skill you’ve always wanted to learn, you’re gonna be feeling great. And when it’s time to sit down and apply for new jobs it won’t feel as daunting. When it’s time to sit down and write that essay, it won’t be as hard. When you decide to start saving $200 a month, you’ll be excited about it instead of feeling deprived. Level 1 is a very short level and you shouldn't be here for long at all.
Level 2 and up will vary greatly from person to person as it's about putting your money where your mouth is and really putting in work. No more info hoarding, no more restless nights trying to figure out what you want. It's go time. It could include more schooling, working, rebranding yourself, putting yourself out there, not buying new clothes or eating out bc you're saving money hardcore, ramping it up at the gym, or whatever else you planned out. You stfu and do the work. It's uncomfortable bc you won't allow your brain to sabotage you into stopping. You're becoming a new person. Level 2 will likely last a long time since rome wasn't built in a day and whatever you're trying to accomplish will probably take a fair amount of work.
Level 3+ is simply when you are reaching milestones and you are able to assess where you are and see what lies ahead. You have to replan, reformulate, and get back to work. You have to decide if you should keep this job or accept that new offer you just got and weigh out the pros and cons of each. You have to push a bit harder to firmly cement yourself into the next area rather than remain a newbie. At this point, you're a bit of an authority figure. You know what you're doing and you've been at it for a while. This is totally your new normal. This is just your life now.
