This moment will always be IT for me. This scene was probably more significant for me than the table scene, and that says a lot because that scene was extremely significant! I remember when i first saw this scene and was genuinely so taken back by the editing, the song, the expressions. And the fact that it's STILL on my mind almost a year later and i end up finding something new about it every time??

Then people want to pretend that this moment was strictly platonic and that Syd only equaled the restaurant... I knew in this moment that they were showing us Carmy realized how much he loved Syd and that she meant so much more to him. She's his peace. She was not a product of his trauma through his childhood and family. He was uncertain about Claire, but certain about Syd. I don't care. I am not budging.

I even tried to one time just so i could stop talking about sydcarmy to my friend who wants them to only be platonic. But oh well! The editors and Mr. Storer shouldn't have shown me this scene!

guys i. literally last night i read a nonfiction piece at writer’s open mic. not that unusual. my favorite professor was there. Slightly unusual. afterwards he knelt down by me in TEARS and told me to never stop writing. boom. instantly started sobbing. what is WRONG WITH HIM

Luke being so down bad for Lee but not realizing it is so funny, but even more so with Michael being a protective little brother and being a menace to Luke

Like,Michael can and will bite. And Luke tends to forget he's not indestructible and ends up in the infirmary being tending to by Lee who's trying real hard not to laugh.

Its a miracle Luke gets anything done, he's so distracted by Lee half the time. One the only people able to beat him in training,partly due to being closer in age and partly due to Luke being swept off his feet both figuratively and literally by Lee. He acts huffy about it, but he's not all that mad with Lee being so close.

When Luke actually does pay attention and wins,he's still absolutely enthralled by Lee's moves. Having to knock Lee's weapons(Lee uses duel wield daggers in closer combat) out of their hands or get close enough to restrain him to win. Lee's way too agile to be tripped up.

I would pay an honestly absurd amount of money to see one of Eddie’s friends that Chris knows & likes (whether that’s Tommy since everybody wants him to be an MC, or a good friend from the army or Texas) come over & hang around them, and for Chris to be excited & greet them like, “Uncle Tommy!” (Or whether their name is.)

Especially if Buck is there & gets worried like, “he’s never called me Uncle, am I not as important to this kid as I thought I was?”

Force them both to really look at the role Buck plays in Christopher’s life vs how the rest of their friends act/treat Chris, bc even if Buddie doesn’t get together, I’d love to see it acknowledged canonically just how fatherly Buck acts with Chris.

(Obviously in my dream world & in the fic I’ll probably write, this will be what kickstarts Buck & Eddie figuring their shit out and getting together but that’s just me)
