Delilah nodded gently to Ana's words about trust, not expecting the child to hug her. She almost jumped out of her skin at the sudden touch, remaining frozen in her spot. Unable to move, images of Israel flashed through her head as the mental wounds were still fresh, replaying as fast as they happened. She held her breath but wrapped her hands around the boy gently. She let him go as soon as she felt him slip, her hands returning to cleaning his cut. She breathed out, a bit too loud, as she released the air she had held.

"Thanks...I needed that." She mumbled quietly as she finished cleaning his cut before standing up. She nodded to Ana, looking at Nam-Joon's mother for a moment. "I understand. I would appreciate the help, even if it is brief. Plus, I would like to do more for his forehead, even if they only have rubbing alcohol and some bandaids. The wound shouldn't get infected, but I'd like to take the precautions." She looks back to Ana as she continues. "I won't keep you after that, I promise."

Ana nods. "I get it. But right now, we both need to face the reality that we cannot achieve anything with a little bit of trust———if only for this one moment." Ana replies, feeling the fatigue in her body, but also refusing to succumb to it. Nam-Joon nods lightly to show that he had understood what the doctor had been saying. He gazes back at the shewolf, and she nods back to him, almost like a parent giving their child permission to move. And a second later, the boy hubs the elysian and thanks him. It's a quick hug, but still there nonetheless.

Then he bets back where he was to let the elysian take care of his forehead. Ana shakes her head. "I need to bring her somewhere safe to rest in peace until this is over first. But I can help you get there safely. I've been there before." Ana offers———this is her way of thanking the younger woman for her help. Truth is, after what had happened at the Crimson Library, the shewolf doesn't trust any place with a lot of people. "Maybe we can stop a moment so that you can patch his forehead. I'm sure they have some stuff over there. And a doctor to help will surely be welcome."
