Perhaps they hadn't slept in days. Perhaps they had simply gotten a little too deep into their own head for a while there. Either way, they weren't sure where the last few hours had gone and why the ol' bank account looked a bit lighter than it should. Luckily, it was something they'd actually use.

Stifling a yawn, V(i) checked the time. Almost noon. Sure, that seemed right. Rolled over, nearly fell off the couch they had been using as a bed. Meant to do that. Of course. A stretch revealed a patchwork of tattoos and scarring on the strip of skin between the hem of their shirt and pants to complement the work on their arms that was easily seen without obstruction thanks to the tanktop. To say nothing of the tattoo on one upper cheek which didn't entirely divert attention from the eyes that glowed a faint silver thanks to their modded Kiroshi optics.

V(i) couldn't actually see the diminutive techie thanks to the towering electronics but assumed she was still somewhere in the mess.

But this tiny little detail also humanizes Caitlyn and Vi so much, they already did a great job of making them realistic but this is the cherry on top! the hesitation, the tiniest little movement of the hand, Caitlyn reaching out- its so real and special to me..i'm choosing to believe that Vi did that on purpose, wanting to but ultimately shying away from touching her in a moment of such intimacy and vulnerability, thank god Cait noticed and took it as her cue to do something about it..

IT'S NOT PARTICULARLY A SURPRISE ANYMORE : but, none the less, caitlyn usually can be seen catching a glimpse at vi without any prior prompt as is. the zaunite has increasingly become caitlyn's favorite person. a return smile is included.

Brows raise before the smile seems to get that much bigger. Popping up out of their spot the space is crossed as quickly as Vi's legs will allow after such a length of time sitting.

"Yeah? It helps to be matching, no?" their voice is playful, almost sly. A boop to the nose followed by a kiss, still with the megawatt smile still on display. Vi, in perpetual 'sun's out guns out' mode, slips arms around the taller woman and tugs her closer. And, hell, if someone wanted to test the validity of the upper body workout routine of one Vi, there'd be no arguments against it.

adora asked catra to go with her multiple times while vi was captured and imprisoned before she could go back to powder, and spent years in the prison blaming herself.

not to mention, no one ever addresses adora's and vi's trauma but woobifies and coddles catra and jinx instead. they act like adora/vi didn't care about their sisters even though catra/jinx are the ones who literally tries to murder them.
