Maybe I’m hormonal cause of my cycle but I just want to cry thinking about Kendrick’s halftime performance. Like besides the fact that I’ve always been such a huge fan of him since I was a teen and he dissed Drake on the biggest stage, seeing him be so political at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana in front of the most racist mother fucker and other racist fans of the Chiefs when the NFL stopped putting “End Racism” on the field goals all while the Eagles got their lick back from losing to the Chiefs two years ago…is so satisfying. It’s just so many messages put into that performance in less than 20 mins that would go over people’s heads.

It’s more than just rap music. It’s more than just a performance. What Kendrick did was send a literal message to Americans, Black Americans in particular, who already know and live to experience the racism in this country that will only grow because of this administration, that there will always be a way to preserve the history and the culture of this nation’s people who fought hard for their acknowledgment as human beings.

Like, having Samuel L. Jackson playing Uncle Sam critiquing Black American culture and behavior, the dancers forming a divided American flag in the background, the colors being used, the stage structured to look like a game board of sorts, the dancers “marching” down the street, Kendrick saying “the revolution will be televised”, emphasizing “turn his TV off” with all of the strange propaganda ads we’ve seen throughout the Super Bowl being streamed.

Kendrick has always been political in his music and unapologetic of the black experience as an American. But the fact that he performed the way he did on this big stage knowing how racist the NFL is with so many people across the country watching including our excuse of a president that’s threatening the lives of millions of people…it was just so good and powerful to see on live TV. This performance is so important, especially coming after the Grammy’s where people have been having a weeklong debate of why Beyonce’s COWBOY CARTER album deserved to win AOTY and the impact it had on validating the experiences of southern Black Americans and winning in a genre that blacklisted her…this shit is so fucking powerful man. It means so much to me truly. Kendrick you will always be famous.

A new royal guard who just got his dream job, and the Second Prince who is famous throughout the kingdom for being virtuous but secretly set on making the guard's life (and other things) very, very hard

Kind but naive prince arguing against war and a trusted brave general arguing for it (to prevent a bigger one)

A fierce prince of a kingdom that won the war, and a prince of a kingdom that lost, given to him as a bride / hostage

A prince sent on a perilous journey to a faraway land for political reasons (his own brother wanting him dead), and his faithful guard trying to keep him alive

King of the Immortal Realm and the King of Demons, fighting to own the world, and each other's hearts

A millennia-old vampire and a feisty fledgling that hates his master for turning him (or does he?)

OK !! So. I actually LOVE unconventional weapons they are literally my favorite thing ever, which is why I chose and Iron Maiden for him, despite it actually not really being used as a medieval torture device !! In fact based on my (very limited and admittedly short) research session, they weren’t used in medieval times at all !!

Still, absolutely fell in love with their concept. So. How do they work?

I’m still tweaking their whole weapon transformation bit, I’m thinking of like, having his arms open up (like shown) and basically being able to smack people that way or basically getting close in combat and lowkey having the good ol iron maiden parts clamp down on people during battles, which would make them better fit for close combat.

The other idea I had was them basically being a porcupine or a hedgehog. Idk which one does it but having the spikes of said Iron Maiden forming on their back like how Spirit and Soul briefly displayed with their scythe blades. Either that or just lowkey having his whole back open up if someone tries to blind side him. However he very well could literally just smack people with his hand transformed as some iron bit and it would still work fine, cause that has to HURT.

Enough weapon rambling!! Now onto Dove themself.

Dove is very clumsy I’d imagine, tripping over his own feet or even air, but also reserved to himself. They much prefer a laid back scene, but aren’t adverse to partying and messing around, it just has to be the right vibe. I would imagine Dove doesn’t necessarily NEED a meister, but they would prefer to have one purely because they need someone to kinda stick around, they don’t like being alone despite their naturally aloof seeming and shy nature. Haven’t really fleshed out their backstory yet, but I’m thinking he ran away from “home” or was somehow abandoned/left, he doesn't really know who his biological parents are and was raised in a… “community” of sorts. Again this is all just quickly put together, I may flesh him out more later but I’m tired ~_~

My favorite thing about the fact that Michael Sheen will soon be able to talk about every little dirty detail behind the scenes of season two is that we all wanna know about that kiss. And you know damn good and well he knows we wanna know what it was like to kiss David Tennant. We all have seen this man interacting with the fandom and being a part of it. We've repeatedly witnessed this man go Full Feral™️. We've all seen that Michael Sheen and David Tennant have literally no problem with kissing other men for their jobs. And not even fake ass actor kissing. Not even a kiss next to the mouth shot at an angle that will trick you into thinking they're really kissing.

Both of these men have kissed (at least lips to lips idk about any tongue stuff but knowing them??? Probably) men full on, outright, no pretending. So like Michael knows we know this. He knows he's not gonna get away with any kind of half assed answers about kissing the mf David Tennant. But knowing him? And the secrets he keeps with His Angel? He will most likely give us some vague, half flirtatious response and we will all eat it up anyway.
