donnie will show up sometime in 2026 (irl) in comic he shows up in about 11 pov changes so at least 30 parts? probably more. Residuum is long, alright. Technically, you've already seen how donnie is going to be kept 👍

For Draxum: not if he stays on New York (or the usa). If he gets hit with even one of the darts that are used on mutants, he'll just die. Immediately. I love your comic and the story a lot, but you can be so frustratingly vague with your details. After rereading part 38, and without the context you just gave from the previous ask, I would never have figured you were talking about Mantis's cat. There's vague and then there's too vague and I think you're leaning more towards too vague at times like this.

The invertebrates line in part 38 isn't about the cat. It purpose wasn't to tell you what happened to Mrs nubbins. It's not even for giving you clarifying information. That line (the whole scene really) is foreshadowing for events in arc III

So, yeah, if the information I was trying to convey/clarify in that update was about Mrs. Nibbins specifically, then I would have failed spectacularly

Did repo mantis's cat get killed or did they tranq and capture it. Nothing outside the show itself is used in residuum, (which means if we couldn't extrapolate information from it directly, we threw it out). In universe, donnie just never posted that stuff, or he deleted them before everything went down. If he hadn't, then all the turtle would have been captured at once as the inciting incident of residuum

They got their info about mrs. nubbins from the people that actively still use repo's services. Because his bitch ass doesn't hide in any way, shape or form lmao (much less keep secrets very well, or at all)

but yeah, they went back for her, and she's still alive

we see them for I believe the first time in the story with the last two updates. AND someone once asked if this person has anything to do with mikey or donnie, and you answered 100%.

those drawings actually depict multiple people, but the sentry in the bishop teaser hasn't been in the comic yet. The one you briefly see in the latest updates is actually the mouse in part 40

also, yes, residuum happens chronologically. you'll be able to tell when something is a flashback

What would have happened if donnie's donnie pod activated and sent him back after he got tranq'd?

nothing! because he doesn't have any of his gear on him due to sensory issues. (if he did have that stuff, he'd still have to activate it himself. but if it activated on its own then. uh, he'd just be home now? congrats residuum averted)

well, mikey is already knocked out when the fight starts, and raph can't mind meld due to... well. you'll find out lmao. i'm not sure splinter can mind meld, but if he could the only one he'd be doing it with would be leo.

which. wouldn't really do anything, he'd just know that mikey got got faster. and then you'd have a ptsd feedback loop with splinter and. hm. it would be worse actually i think. that would get them all captured. splinter would be alive in this situation though, so, silver linings? (cue lawyer au)

neither donnie or mikey would have let leo or splinter go with him, due to both being injured at the time. raph isn't even in the lair when donnie leaves so he can't either.

If they did, in leo's case, they would both be captured, leo would portal out (by himself, as they wouldn't keep them together) and then be paralysed for the next few weeks as the epf tracks his tag to the lair. just speed up residuum by a couple months

splinter would also get captured with donnie, and then the lawyer au takes over and thats a whole can of worms (that'd we've never talked about on this blog)

with raph there it just turns into a standard beat up episode and they go home with their scrap. end residuum

draxum... well. draxum is dead before the events of residuum event begin, but if he were somehow there, (though donnie calling him to do a junk run seems out of character) he would just die. again. because of the tranq doses

Do you know about the turtles older sister who's currently working as big mom's assistant? I won't ask about their older brother as he lacks not only a name but an appearance outside a mention from splinter But How has piebald been holding up? Is she also captured or just chilling in hiding? And finally how would she and the turtles react to splinter being dead?

the rise comics aren't canon to residuum, any characters or plot points that appear there have no bearing on residuum's plot.

if we did include the original two turtle sisters that were planned to appear in season three, they wouldn't appear until well after the events of residuum proper. (as it is Frida and Venus don't exist in residuum, big mamas assistant is just a yokai).

ok so when it comes to Piebald: she doesn't exist, theres a couple reasons why but the main one is that shes the odd duck out when it comes to mutation and how it works. We wanted consistent rules for how mutation works. Piebald as she appears in the show doesn't exist in residuum, there could be a sewer dwelling mutant fish that used to be their pet, but she can't read. or speak.
