I am still alive and I brought you all a gift because it took me so long to post. (That definitely didn’t take long)

So this sound trends on tiktok and I immediately thought of those two. My brain just couldn’t bare the thought that they might never be drawn/edited like that...

but then I realized, I can draw...I HAVE THE POWER!

So I took it in my own hands.

Have fun with this, It might take a while until I am back...tho I do try to be more active. But for now, enjoy the love (and a bit of angst/past trauma.)

Pretty obvious what I was trying to do, right?

It's kind of the fact that Barbara will always have this trauma, this pain that he caused. Even tho she can infact learn to love him again, there will always be this ever so small fear of getting hurt like he did before. She forgave him but she dosen't fully trusts him, at least not yet.

Also Walter reaches after her in his troll form but slowly stops in his human form. He let's her go, he let's the past go, his old self. He realizes that trying to appear more like human self is not the way and that she will only let him in if he is himself. If he is what he was forced and lived to become. A Changeling, tho not a Monster anymore.

I did try to include my headcanon Design for post-Eternal night. Obviously Barb is a little over the top (it's more a outfit for dates) and a new coat for Walter. I would say this takes place like 3-6 weeks after they defeated Morgana, so Walter dosen't really tried to ✨️express✨️ himself fully with his clothing...and i wanted to draw him in his old Design but also in MY and little new style so yeah. NO human clothes for my man. He has no shame, walking around half naked.🤭

Also small headcanon, Barbara likes him better with longer hair and his new style (mixing human/troll together). It makes him look and ferl like a new person and makes it easier for her bc she can see his true self, wich is a bit of both his forms. It's a reminder that not everything he said was a lie.

Do you all know this "She fell first, he fell harder"? Well I firmly believe it's them. Although Walter probably fell first AND harder.

My mum bought my dog a squeaky toy for Christmas and I got to wake up to my dog literally abusing the poor toy by rapidly squeezing it and I’m pretty sure I’m losing my hearing but at least my dog is having the time of her life

#Wow. Okay ♡#I love this episode. The animation is flawless. The drawings quality is out of the world for real.#I love this episode so much I'm so grateful so much care and dedication went to this sskk centered episode.#(Refraining to talk about what 5x03 could have been)#Sorry for repeating myself but seriously the illustrations this episode are so so pretty.#I rarely appreciate how Akutagawa is drawn in the anime but when it comes with this episode I really like how he looks too.#And Atsushi that I already like a lot in the anime on average‚ this episode is just fabulous. Handsome even.#Seriously I don't know who the animators are but I want to kiss them. This art style is one I dare say I like even more than Dead Apple–#that although is obviously more detailed is just... In comparison too rough for my personal taste?#The art style for this episode is very delicate and soft and I love it tons #And the directing is just great. No weird pacing or awkward ost choice. It's neat.#The reiterated placing ss/kk on opposite sides is neat. The lightening is likeable and especially the purple scene is super pretty.#The “don't compare me to him” scene is neat. The ss/kk final scene is AMAZING. It's gorgeous and stunning and awestriking and every other–#epitome in the world. It's like the only scene I believe turned out better in the anime that it is in the manga which is saying SO MUCH.#But it's really that good!!!!! My favourite anime ss/kk scene ever.#Aaaaaahhh please let me talk about it forever it's sooo pretty and especially poignant...#The heaven-like soft yellow light and how it contrasts with the bleak stormy background. But especially their softening features...#Man that scene. okay. Akutagawa's quiet surprise!!!! That scene is. Idk. Unfortunately chapter 88 exists–#but it's nearly the most romantic thing ever.#I'll leave it at this. It's not like the bsd animation suddenly became a masterpiece and this is still an episode–#I would say I like less than my least liked k/l/k episode (Trigger animation my beloved). #that's 2 of 3 partys in my moms honor down. this one was our childhood neighbor friends #which it was really good to see them but it was really just a party. no one really talked about her at all. the subject was avoided #i think bc ppl r awkward abt it. like im fine to talk abt it. it happened. i dont see a point in avoiding it #but im also not the most socially adept. which i did pretty good talking to ppl but i was still the most awkward one there #and idk this experience has really taught me that u should have a lot of friends and a spouse bc i dont kno how a person like me could go #thru what my mom did and survive if i didnt have my dad. so i guess i have to con someone into marrying me #id b difficult to marry. im difficult to b friends with. im too avoidant of any people #im gonna die like that lady from 6 feet under with no friends. like a fridge fell on her or something. idk #but i cant die bc my dad cant go thru this again. i dunno. well see what life throws at me #also. my childhood friends r a lot of real smart ppl. like a lot of engineers and medical doctors #they make me feel so dumb. but alas. im but a humble environmental Science person #ay. i dunno. it was fun but im drained #and my cousings boyfriend is still a fucking freak who harasses animals. he really upset one of our dogs #my sister says she can imagine him murdering someone and tbh so could i. so i hope my cousins safe #unrelated

I just realized I can’t say Rene and Alois live in my head rent free. Like, they do pay rent.

#not art #it took me like 9 years to realize this #which is also a wild realization all on its own #it’s really been nine years… in real world years rene is going to 5th grade this year…#that’s just wild #they’ve literally supported me through so much #rene in particular bc he’s like MINE mine. not like. an in-law #back in high school id pretend he was running with me when we did the mile #bc I could imagine him struggling and it was kinda funny so it kept me going #he was also the channel for so much vent art #he was kinda the guy I’d daydream with instead of daydreaming about real people and my self insert #it was a lot healthier (relatively speaking)#and he also pushed me to hone my art skills #I specifically learned how to draw that slicked back hairstyle just so I could draw him #and how to do a more western comic style #bc he looked awful in the anime style I used to have #he was kinda the catalyst behind a lot of the decisions that I ended up making. and he led me to my two best friends #he just means a lot to me ok #my little guy. who knew you’d mean this much to me #who knew you’d bring me so many good things #like crow and I obv met in the rp scene #but Keyx and I met bc I talked about how Rene was from marseille and they were like omg no one ever makes non-Parisian spies #and we got to talking #and eventually that’s why I even committed to studying abroad in Paris #well originally I wanted to go to marseille but they transferred me to Paris bc they didn’t have enough students at the marseille campus for #our major #which was fine I guess but I wish I had gotten to go to the marseille campus. it was way more chill.#even so I did meet a lot of nice classmates in Paris. they were mostly pretty accommodating to my lackluster French #anyway none of this would’ve happened if i didn’t have Rene #so. yknow. he’s my special little guy. so much of my life has changed just bc I have him.

something I’m glad about with monhun rise/sunbreak is that they made the whole “these creatures could bring about the end of civilization btw” thing way more textual and baked it into every quest zone too so I’ve seen the “omg why are you hunting them :( this is so evil” comments drop like 90%

#I WILL SAY-#that critiquing monhun world/iceborne for colonialist themes even if it's not involving a displacement of a people etc is actually #pretty valid criticism to a point #but if you bring up monhun and animal cruelty in the same breath I'M FUCKING STEALING SOMETHING OUT OF YOUR HOUSE!!!#car talking #I may be biased though because I have personally killed and eaten animals in real life and it was good

my very own tips for young artists that wouldhave helped me immensely

- im begging you practice face shapes that arent a triangle with spiky chin. there is so much variety in face shapes

- if you hate the lineart go over it one more time. especially if it's traditional art and you cant ctrl+z

- ummm. study and do it with your hand & not your eyes. i look at pictures all day and still nothing beats just sitting down and practicing

#1) when i was younger i saw a drawing challenge in which you would draw random shapes and then faces on them #my thought was 'thats nice. i draw more in an anime style though so it doesnt really match' that was silly and untrue #anime is a good example bc sometimes there will be an old man that actually looks like one #either stylized and cartoony or very realistic #but a lot of the time they look extremelyuncanny. one of the reasons is pointy chin in every character #2) this wont be appealing to every artist but if youre struggling with precise lineart it helps!#i just recently realized that i could just..do that. and it looks cool:) youre refining the shapes & all #3) studying real life things will be more beneficial to you but study art as well if you want!#when i was a kid i was taking inspiration from steven universe and it fucked up my sense of proportion. so watch out!#im far from being a good artist but ive been drawing for quite some time and im pretty confident in those tips #its all about fun but if youre frustrated with how your drawings look this could help you cheers #sleep talking
