Night Routine for Insomniacs
for my fellow insomniacs who struggle with sleeping: some ideas to improve your night routine and sleep
How to get in the mood:
Light your candles
brew yourself your good night tea or drink (when I was younger I always drank hot milk with honey)
lower your lights and close your curtains
play relaxing music
prepare your bedroom (windows open or closed, hot water bottle in bed, etc.)
best ideas for resting:
watch an episode of the show you're currently watching or watch a film from your watchlist (because otherwise you'll never gonna see it anyway)
connect with your partner or the people you love <3 these people make life worth living and deserve your attention and time!
this is non negotiable: read at least 1-2 chapter, or if you're not into reading listen to an audiobook or podcast
do some yoga or stretching
journaling
Preparing is Key:
Lay out your outfits for the next day, pack your bag, prepare your gym bag, declutter of your clothing laying around - cleaning and preparing your space in order to get these tasks out of your mind for a good night sleep and a fresh start in the morning
Update your planner and to do list for the next day
set your alarms to get up on time
turn off your devices! if you are using your phone as an alarm clock set it into flight mode or create a night mode for yourself
put on your bed clothes
Night Skin Care Routine:
Remove Make Up with oil-based Makeup Remover
Cleanse face (don't forget about your neck and ears) with water-based cleanser (preferably the same cleanser you use in the morning)
Exfoliate your skin or use a face mask, massage your face while applying or try a sheet mask and use a face roller get the best benefits
use a toner afterwards to prep your skin for following
acid treatment and serums
if you're having break outs you can apply spot treatment
eye patches and eye cream
night cream or night mask
Your skincare routine in the evening should moisturize your face so that your skin is soft and glowing after waking up.
Ultimate hack for soft lips in the morning: you can create a lip scrub with sugar and honey and afterwards apply a thick layer of vaseline on your lips - it's a low budget game changer.
sleeping beauty tips:
brush your teeth before going to bed
spray your pillow with lavendar or diffuse some calming essential oils
listen to sleep meditation
absolutely no phone, tv or any devices for sleeping!
Have a good night rest angels!

𝑆ℎ𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑒 - 𝐴 𝑔𝑢𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑚𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑑𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑏𝑦 𝑙𝑎𝑦𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔
𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 . 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞.
Start off with a clean foundation- By using an unscented bar of soap. Take your time with this step as it is very important. It is best to wash about twice for this step . Make sure to wash with a washcloth.
Next, apply your scented scrubs or body wash - Now that you're clean from your first layer, apply your favourite scented body washes over top with a loofah, an African net cloth, a silicone body brush, or whatever exfoliating tool you have.
* You've just finished a crucial step without realising it , you've double cleansed. Similar to skin care, double cleansing ensures that your skin is clean and prepped . Before going the additional mile, it is important to start with a a clean surface.
Rinsing with cold water- it’s a game changer from someone who loves hot showers and use to find the idea of taking a cold one crazy. It has so many benefits , I feel more fresh and committed to my routine. This is just personal preference.
Put on lotion - A little tip if you use body oil mix in with your lotion , this method is is also your base to smelling good for a longer period of time .
Put on deodorant - Self explanatory
Perfume of you choice - Finish your routine by smelling good in your favorite scent and you’re done !
**Make sure your scents match , avoid mixing any scent’s together that do not go together , finding your signature scent takes time but keep scents in range **
𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞
Dr. Bronner's Unscented Bar soap - Wash twice with washcloth
Dove body wash Shea butter and vanilla scent - Wash twice with more of an exfoliating tool . Ex ( loofah , African net , Silicone brush )
Tree hut Brown sugar scrub - exfoliate twice a week at most
Vaseline coco radiant Lotion + body oil
Any vanilla scent perfume

DREAM GIRL INTRO 2/5 How To Get Started: high maintenance routine (PT 2)
hello ladies,
Hey there! Thanks for sticking around for intro 2, part 2 of my high-maintenance routine. If you missed the previous post, it's on my page for you to catch up on. I've got more routines to share, so let's dive in and make it worthwhile! And remember, you don't have to do everything take some and leave some ☺️(I am not a medical professional, so please consult a doctor for proper advice, I'll place a ''*'' for the ones to look out for)
******************************weekly********************************
wash bedding: pillows, pillowcases, sheets, and blankets; stuffed animals too (If possible, I recommend washing them with lavender-scented detergent for a calming effect.)
everything shower: Shaving, scrubbing, masks— the works. You know how it is, ladies. (btw baby oil is the best shaving oil and it's cheap too! another alternative is coconut oil)
clean makeup/hair tools: It's important to establish a regular cleaning routine to keep your skin clear and prevent hair loss.
clean water bottle(s): Girls, it's great that you're staying hydrated, but don't forget to clean your water bottles. Many people overlook this and end up drinking mold, which can make you sick over time. (TIP: bleach makes mold stronger so sanitizing your water bottles with white vinegar is better and safe and no it won't taste like vinegar)
refresh space: it's nice to do a deep clean on your space/s so really be intentional (I like to write a to-do list the night before of what I need to get done in detail so I don't forget in the morning)
*24-hour gut reset*: Giving your body a 24-hour break from food can have numerous benefits, such as regulating blood sugar, metabolizing stored fat, and reducing the risk of heart disease.
************************monthly*************************************
*chemical peel*: I began using a chemical peel last month and have aGlready started to see results. I do not get professional treatments; instead, I use The Ordinary peeling solution. (follow the instructions to a T if you use it)
Mani/Pedi: Getting your nails done is an important part of a high-maintenance routine; it enhances your femininity. ( You don't have to use color if you don't want to; you can keep them clean and filed. )
brows: pluck uneven hairs to make sure everything is neat and polished.
*clay mask*: I use a clay mask with Aztec healing clay and apple cider vinegar(w/ the mother) to detox and clarify my hair.
I hope my routines have inspired you, bringing you one step closer to your dream girl.
-XOXOXO

Pink Champagne's Personal Development Plan
updated december 6, 2024
this is my version of 75 Hard, modified for a realistic approach to long-term personal development and self-improvement. though i was inspired by the structure of 75 Hard, this isn't a short-term challenge. i've organized this plan as a lifestyle blueprint that can be continued for longer than 75 days.
unlike a crash diet or a challenge intended to be started and stopped over and over again, this set of guidelines can be easily implemented into one's life, and here’s why:
i will not lie and say i don't care about physical appearance, but the focus of this strategy is to feel better and improve overall health. my plan explicitly outlines which foods to gravitate towards and which to cut back on. there are no bad foods; this is just what works for me.
crash diets and workout challenges might produce the superficial results you want, but implementing a health strategy that focuses on the big picture is more beneficial in the long run. i’m easing into it, allowing cheat days, and not setting a 75-day timeline. give yourself grace and celebrate your wins.
i love the basic concept and structure of 75 Hard, however, progress pictures are generally most helpful for those who are trying to improve their physical appearance. since this is a long-term plan prioritizing health over appearance, i replaced this section with one on consistency in general, focusing on routines and habits. i also added a self care section because that’s extremely important to me. i will continue updating this post.
with healthy habits comes a healthy body and mind. take care of yourself and you will reap the benefits, mentally and physically.

Free skin-care 🍵
hi dolls! today I’m going to show u a few skin care tips/masks which help a lot and cost less ♡
Skin brightening - Cucumber Tomato Face Pack
You can actually make a lot of masks with cucumber but my all time favorite is the brightening one. As I have acne prone skin and tend to get a lot of redness / scars I use this method a lot.
recipe: https://www.vedaoils.com/blogs/news/homemade-cucumber-face-pack-for-glowing-skin#
Hydrated lips - Honey sugar scrub
I mostly use this while doing my make up :) I apply this scrub before doing my make up and then start the process. After I finish with my whole face I just wipe off the scrub and apply my products. In my opinion using it that way is the best (if you’re going to do make up ofc) since your lips look "fresh".
Recipe:
Mix one teaspoon of honey with two teaspoons of sugar.
Massage the mixture into your lips and leave for 10 minutes or so.
Remove with the help of a wet face washer.
Toner - Rice water
for glowy, moisturized skin use rice water as a toner. apply twice a day after cleansing your face. you can also "steam" it , like use the steam from rice water. so good for oily skin works well for me !
Recipe : https://www.herzindagi.com/amp/beauty/rice-water-toner-diy-learn-recipe-and-beauty-benefits-of-using-it-article-164384
Refresher / Cleanser - Clarifying Oat Face Mask
love using this once in a while because my skin feels like baby skin and the redness calms down
Recipe: Combine 3 teaspoons ground oats and ¼ teaspoon apple cider in a bowl until a smooth paste forms. Then add ¼ tablespoon lemon juice and ½ tablespoon brown sugar; stir until the mixture is even. Apply to freshly cleansed skin and let sit for five to 10 minutes, allowing ingredients to penetrate top layers of the skin. Then rub in circular motions to exfoliate and increase blood-flow. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
these are my most used recipes for my face (I have oily skin btw) and I can 100% say that they work well. lmk if u have questions.
love, el <3

There have to be some autistic bakers out there, right? Because I'm fully at the end of my rope here. I've been making my own bread for like... 2 years now? And I still can't figure out how to fucking do this. It comes out edible every time, but not quite the way I want it. And I think the main issue is the kneading. No one has ever been able to explain to me how to knead dough in a way that makes actual sense to me. Whenever I try kneading dough, it sticks to my entire hands so hard that I just wind up wearing a dough glove. At that point I can't knead it any further because it's become a second skin on my hands and I can't get it off. (I then have a sensory overload meltdown, scream GET IT OFF MEEEEE, cry, throw things, occasionally break something or injure myself, then break down in a sobbing heap of self-loathing for a while.) As a result, I have worked out a system of making bread where I basically "knead" it with a spoon in the bowl and a lot of muscle. This doesn't lead to very good results and also fucks up my wrists.
Before I continue, let me get the following out of the way:
I know there are recipes for no-knead bread. That is not the kind of bread I want to make.
I already have a stand mixer, but it's useless because I am making very small loaves of bread, and it's just not enough for the mixer to work. (I am one person living alone and I can only eat so much bread every day, and even these small loaves often get moldy before I can finish them)
I have neither the money nor the space for a bread maker, and in any case I don't like the kind of bread they create.
I have tried flouring and oiling my hands. It helps for approximately 0.2 seconds and then the benefits evaporate and I'm right back where I started.
I have tried using gloves and it also doesn't help. The dough just coats the gloves and now I have two pairs of gloves on instead of one.
I have a plastic dough scraper but it doesn't help. The only surface I have to knead on is a silicone baking mat, which gets dented if the scraper digs into it, and if I try to move the dough around with it, I wind up with bits of dough sliced off and adhered to the scraper, which then also becomes near impossible to clean.
So. Is there someone out there who can explain to me in very specific autism-friendly terms HOW THE FUCK you are supposed to do this? Is there a video out there that shows the process of kneading bread dough from start to finish that doesn't just go "it'll be sticky at first but get less sticky as you work it" and then cut to the fucking finished product? HOW, specifically, do you touch and grip and move the dough without it coating your entire hand and then refusing to come off forever, leading to me bent sobbing over the sink desperately trying to scrub it all off with soap and hot water and continuing to discover bits of it under my fingernails for hours afterward?
"Turn and fold it"—the second my fingers touch bread dough, it adheres to my skin and will not come off. I'm like fucking Tetsuo in Akira, becoming one with this formless blob which I can't seem to remove from my skin no matter what I do.
I have tried various dough recipes and it doesn't seem to matter what the ingredients and ratios are, I can't figure out how to knead it. The one I am using now is actually pretty dense. It uses dry active yeast, 50g rye flour, 200g wheat bread flour, 150ml water, about a teaspoon of olive oil, teaspoon of salt, and tablespoon of sugar for the yeast. I like dense bread, actually, so that's fine - I'm not trying to make a light, airy bread.
My current system is to, once the yeast is woken up and the ingredients all combined, jam a spoon in the center and roughly stir it as hard as I can, trying to stretch it as much as possible, occasionally repositioning the spoon. Basically roughly replicating the motion of a hook attachment in a stand mixer, but without the hook, and without the machine power. This flares up my wrist tendinitis every time, but it's that or nothing. When I've gone as long as I physically can, I pat it all together with the spoon and do the first proof. Then I do knead it on a silicone mat, which is a harrowing experience, because while it's no longer an instant second epidermis, it is still always sticky enough to give me sensory overload. I often wind up with no choice but to constantly re-coat my hands in flour (I'm talking literally once every 15 seconds or so), which of course only serves to make the bread even denser, but without doing that, I can't knead the dough at all without having a meltdown, because at this point I'm already stressed from the entire process.
"Why don't you just give up on making bread" I like bread! I like baking, aside from the kneading part! And I can't buy this type of bread where I live. I don't want to give up on this, I just want to figure out how it's physically possible to do!
I asked a friend who bakes bread about this. I told him that it's too sticky, it coats my hands, and then I can't get it off. And he said "it's supposed to be sticky, just keep working it and it'll get less sticky" and I just stared at him. How can I "work" dough that is stuck fast to my skin? It won't let go of me. I can stretch my hands apart and it will split into two stringy masses so that it can keep hanging on to my hands rather than let go. WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY "WORK THE DOUGH?
Am I supposed to just clap my hands together and stretch them back out over and over again? I've seen people knead dough on a table or mat and the dough DOESN'T ADHERE TO THEIR HANDS. They'll be like "it'll be sticky" and then show the dough sticking temporarily to their skin then letting go when they pull their hands away. WHAT IS HAPPENING.
I feel like I'm missing something massive here. There's some movement people are doing that keeps the dough from adhering. Or maybe my skin is secretly made of fucking glue, I don't know.
Someone please help. I feel like attempting to knead dough is going to be the trigger for my final nervous breakdown.

The Benefits of Incorporating a Sugar Scrub into Your Skincare Routine
Sugar scrubs have gained popularity as a key step in many skincare routines, and for good reason. These natural exfoliants offer a range of benefits that go beyond just smoothing your skin. Let’s dive into why you should consider adding a sugar scrub to your skincare regimen.
1. Effective Exfoliation for Smoother Skin
One of the primary benefits of a sugar scrub is exfoliation. The fine granules of sugar gently slough off dead skin cells, helping to unclog pores and improve overall texture. This process not only leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth but also encourages the growth of fresh, healthy skin cells.
Regular exfoliation with a sugar scrub can prevent issues like ingrown hairs and dry patches, and even help reduce the appearance of acne by keeping pores clear.
2. Natural Hydration and Nourishment
Unlike harsh exfoliants, sugar scrubs are known for their moisturizing properties. Sugar is a natural humectant, which means it draws moisture from the environment into the skin, helping to keep it hydrated. Most sugar scrubs are infused with nourishing oils like coconut oil, almond oil, or jojoba oil, which deeply moisturize the skin as you exfoliate.
The combination of exfoliation and hydration helps restore the skin’s natural moisture barrier, making it ideal for those with dry or sensitive skin.
3. Improved Blood Circulation and Radiance
When you massage a sugar scrub onto your skin, it stimulates blood flow, enhancing circulation. This increased blood flow helps bring oxygen and nutrients to the skin’s surface, promoting a healthy, natural glow. Improved circulation can also lead to reduced swelling and puffiness, particularly around the face or delicate areas like the eyes.
Incorporating a sugar scrub into your routine before showering or during a bath allows you to enjoy these circulation-boosting benefits, leaving your skin looking vibrant and refreshed.
4. Brightens and Evens Out Skin Tone
Over time, dead skin buildup can lead to a dull complexion and uneven skin tone. Sugar scrubs help promote cell turnover, encouraging fresh, new skin cells to come to the surface. This process can diminish the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and blemishes, leaving your skin brighter and more even-toned.
For those looking to achieve a radiant complexion, using a sugar scrub 1-2 times per week can make a noticeable difference.
5. Gentle Enough for All Skin Types
One of the reasons sugar scrubs are so popular is that they are gentle on the skin. The granules are small and dissolve easily with water, making them less abrasive than other exfoliants like salt scrubs or walnut shell scrubs. This makes sugar scrubs a safe option for sensitive or delicate skin types.
By choosing a scrub with natural ingredients and oils, you can reduce the risk of irritation while enjoying the benefits of exfoliation and hydration.
6. Promotes Better Absorption of Skincare Products
Regular exfoliation with a sugar scrub removes dead skin cells that can create a barrier on the skin’s surface. By eliminating this buildup, your skin becomes more receptive to other skincare products. This means that moisturizers, serums, and oils can penetrate more effectively, maximizing their benefits.
If you’re investing in quality skincare products, using a sugar scrub helps ensure you’re getting the most out of them!
7. Reduces the Appearance of Cellulite and Blemishes
Massaging a sugar scrub into areas prone to cellulite can help improve circulation and tone the skin’s appearance. While it won’t eliminate cellulite completely, regular use of a scrub can temporarily reduce its appearance, making your skin look firmer and smoother. The hydrating oils in the scrub can also help reduce dryness and blemish scars over time.
8. Creates a Relaxing Self-Care Experience
Incorporating a sugar scrub into your skincare routine is more than just a physical benefit—it can also provide a relaxing self-care experience. The gentle massaging action combined with the pleasant scents of sugar scrubs (like lavender, citrus, or vanilla) can help relieve stress and tension.
Taking the time to care for your skin with a soothing sugar scrub can be a great way to unwind at the end of a long day or to rejuvenate yourself in the morning.
Tips for Using a Sugar Scrub
Don’t Overdo It: Limit exfoliation to 1-2 times per week to avoid irritation.
Moisturize Afterward: After using a sugar scrub, apply a rich moisturizer or body lotion to lock in the hydration.
Choose Quality Ingredients: Opt for sugar scrubs made with natural oils and free from artificial fragrances to avoid irritation.
Conclusion
A sugar scrub is a versatile and gentle skincare product that can transform your skin by providing exfoliation, hydration, and radiance. Whether you’re looking to brighten your complexion, even out your skin tone, or simply enjoy a luxurious self-care moment, incorporating a sugar scrub into your routine is a simple yet effective way to achieve smoother, healthier-looking skin.

The only everything shower routine you’ll ever need ౨ৎ
Pre shower
Hair -
Scalp oiling: use a store bought scalp oil or make your own. Cover hair with cling film to stop dust and dirt while it stays in your hair for 2-4 hours.
Rosemary water: boil rosemary in water for 20 minutes and allow to cool before straining into a spray bottle.
Scalp massage: massage scalp for at least 20 minutes once scalp oil is applied, increases blood circulation which helps hair growth.
Face -w
Flaxseed mask: mix 1/2 flaxseeds with 3 cups water, bring to a boil until thick while continuously stirring then put into a container to cool. Apply to face once cool and leave until dried, around an hour.
Shape eyebrows: pluck eyebrows, if wanted use dye to define them further.
Hands and feet-
Foot spa: if you don’t have a foot spa fill a bowl with hot water, add bath salts and essential oil for scent and extra benefits
Remove any nail polish
Shape and file nails
Scrub feet: use pumice stone or another tool, then afterwards a body/foot scrub.
Body -
Dry brush: start from the bottom of your body and work you way up. Promotes blood circulation and exfoliates giving you smooth skin.
During shower
Hair -
Double shampoo: double shampoo when scalp oiling to properly cleanse scalp of oil.
Hair mask: while the hair mask sits in your hair for 10+ minutes it’s a good time to gua sha your face.
Conditioner
Face -
Gua sha: open lymph nodes, go through a gua shaing routine, then drain lymph nodes. There are lots of tutorials online to follow. I gua sha in the shower with a face wash and water. Never gua sha on dry skin it damages your skin barrier and causes premature aging, if you skin starts to feel like it’s pulling add more moisture.
Face wash
Body -
Exfoliate: use a glove, net or other exfoliating tool to exfoliate body.
Body scrub
Body wash
Shave (if wanted): use a sharp razor, blunt razors can cause razor bumps. Shave with a cream or wash, never on skin alone.
After shower
Face -
Face mask
Skincare: if you have products that you only use every so often this is a good time to use them as an extra treat.
Eye mask
Lip scrub: make your own with sugar, honey and coconut oil or use a store bought one.
Lip balm/moisturiser
Eyelash and eyebrow oil/serum: castor oil works great for me.
Body -
Body oil: apply a scented body oil straight out of shower while skin is still damp.
Moisturize: moisturise entire body.
Hair -
Leave in conditioner: depending on hair type the amount will vary, if you have straighter hair add very little and only to the ends to prevent greasiness.
Hair oil: once hair is completely dry warm a tiny amount of hair oil in your palms (hair oil is not the same as scalp oil!) rub into the very ends of your hair to help with split ends, shine and dryness
Hands and feet -
Paint nails
Cuticle oil: apply either bought cuticle oil or another skin oil such as almond oil or coconut oil to cuticles of hands and feet after nail polish is dry.
Moisturize: moisture both hands and feet, add vaseline to feet on top and put on socks to help absorption
Extras
Layer scents: mix and match the scents body washes, scrubs, hair products and moisturisers to create your personal scent. For example fruity, warm and spicy, vanilla, etc.

HORSERADISH BENEFITS SKIN
Horseradish is a root vegetable that is known for its sharp, pungent flavor. It is a popular condiment in many cuisines, but it also has a number of potential health benefits, including benefits for the skin.
Horseradish is a good source of antioxidants, which can help to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage cells and contribute to the development of premature aging and skin conditions such as wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots.
Horseradish also contains compounds that have anti-inflammatory properties. Inflammation is another major contributor to premature aging and skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
In addition, horseradish is a good source of vitamin C, which is essential for collagen production. Collagen is a protein that gives the skin its structure and elasticity. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen, which can lead to wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin.
Here are some of the specific ways that horseradish can benefit the skin:
Reduces inflammation: Horseradish contains compounds that have anti-inflammatory properties. Inflammation is a major contributor to many skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. By reducing inflammation, horseradish can help to improve the appearance and health of the skin.
Protects against free radical damage: Horseradish is a good source of antioxidants, which can help to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage cells and contribute to the development of premature aging and skin conditions such as wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots.
Promotes collagen production: Horseradish is a good source of vitamin C, which is essential for collagen production. Collagen is a protein that gives the skin its structure and elasticity. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen, which can lead to wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin.
Exfoliates the skin: Horseradish can be used as a natural exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and reveal the fresh, new skin underneath. Exfoliating the skin regularly can help to improve the skin’s tone and texture, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
How to use horseradish for the skin
Horseradish can be used on the skin in a number of ways. Here are a few ideas:
Horseradish mask: Mix one tablespoon of grated horseradish with one tablespoon of honey and apply it to your face for 10-15 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water and pat your face dry.
Horseradish toner: Mix one tablespoon of grated horseradish with one cup of water and pour it into a spray bottle. Use the toner to spray your face after cleansing.
Horseradish scrub: Mix one tablespoon of grated horseradish with two tablespoons of sugar and apply it to your face in a circular motion. Rinse the scrub off with warm water and pat your face dry.
It is important to note that horseradish can be irritating to the skin, so it is important to do a patch test before using it on your face. To do a patch test, apply a small amount of horseradish to a small area of your skin and wait 24 hours. If you do not experience any irritation, then you can use horseradish on your face.
Conclusion
Horseradish is a versatile and flavorful root vegetable with a number of potential health benefits, including benefits for the skin. Horseradish can help to reduce inflammation, protect against free radical damage, promote collagen production, and exfoliate the skin. If you are looking for a natural way to improve the appearance and health of your skin, horseradish is a great option.

Hair and Beauty Salon Secrets Revealed: Insider Tips for Gorgeous Locks and Flawless Skin
Unlocking Dubai's Beauty Trends: What's Hot in Hair and Skincare
Welcome to the vibrant world of beauty salon in Dubai, where innovation meets tradition, and luxury intertwines with culture. In this bustling metropolis known for its skyscrapers and desert landscapes, beauty is not just a concept but a way of life. From the latest hair and skincare trends to innovative treatments and personalized rituals, Dubai's beauty scene offers a tapestry of experiences that cater to every individual's unique style and preferences.
Hair Artistry: Customized Color Blends
Dubai's Hair and beauty salon are renowned for their artistry in creating customized color blends that enhance natural beauty. Embrace the trend of "root smudging" for a seamless transition between hair colors, minimizing harsh lines and creating a softer, more natural look. Ask your stylist about incorporating subtle highlights or lowlights to add dimension and depth to your hair color, achieving a personalized and stunning result.
Hair Care Routines: Nourish and Shine
To achieve luscious locks, start with a nourishing hair care routine. Use sulfate-free shampoos to retain moisture and follow up with a hydrating conditioner. Opt for regular hair spa treatments to strengthen your strands and prevent breakage. Ask your stylist about custom hair masks for an extra boost of hydration tailored to your hair type.
Skincare Regimes: Glow from Within
Living in Dubai's desert climate requires special attention to hydration in skincare, especially when indulging in the best facial in Dubai. Due to the arid environment, your skin may need extra nourishment to stay healthy and vibrant.
One effective strategy is to opt for skincare products enriched with desert botanicals like prickly pear oil or camel milk. These ingredients are renowned for their moisturizing and nourishing properties, providing your skin with the hydration it craves in a dry climate. Incorporating such products into your skincare routine can complement the benefits of your facial treatment, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and revitalized.
DIY Maintenance: Pamper at Home
Between salon visits, pamper yourself with DIY treatments for hair and skin. Create a nourishing hair mask using coconut oil, honey, and avocado to restore shine and softness. For glowing skin, try a homemade exfoliating scrub with sugar and olive oil to slough off dead cells and reveal a fresh complexion.
The Art of Hair Colouring: Trends and Tips
When it comes to hair color, Dubai's salons offer a spectrum of options to express your style. From balayage to bold hues, consult with a color specialist to find the perfect shade for your skin tone. Opt for ammonia-free dyes for a gentle yet vibrant color that lasts longer without damaging your hair.
Skincare Innovations: Science Meets Beauty
Dubai's best facial treatments combine science and luxury to transform your skin. Explore treatments like microdermabrasion, which uses tiny crystals to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin's surface. For acne-prone skin, consider LED light therapy to reduce inflammation and promote healing. Hydration-focused facials with hyaluronic acid are perfect for plumping and hydrating dry or aging skin.
While focusing on hair beauty, don't forget the importance of scalp health. Dubai's salons offer innovative scalp treatments that promote healthy hair growth and scalp balance. Treat yourself to a scalp detox treatment to remove build-up and revitalize your scalp, followed by a soothing scalp massage using essential oils like tea tree or peppermint for a refreshing and invigorating experience.
Choosing the Right Facial: Tailored to Your Needs
Finding the best facial treatment in Dubai starts with understanding your skin concerns. For acne-prone skin, look for facials with salicylic acid or glycolic acid to unclog pores and prevent breakouts. Anti-aging facials often include ingredients like retinol and peptides to stimulate collagen production and reduce fine lines. Hydrating facials with hyaluronic acid and antioxidants are ideal for dry or dehydrated skin, restoring moisture and radiance.
With these insider tips and trends, you're equipped to embrace Dubai's beauty scene with confidence. From nourishing hair care routines to science-backed facial treatments, prioritize self-care and indulge in the transformative power of beauty rituals. Whether at the salon or at home, let your beauty shine inside and out.

1. Get to know your skin type [ mine is dry skin ]
Well get your face wash and stuff according to your skin type and I’m telling you this because I myself choose the wrong face wash and I kinda regret it ! Coz it messed up my face and now I’m dealing with pimples
2. Now as you got to know your skin buy the product accordingly
Now have a routine I will tell you mine
First I was my face with a korean foam face wash but before washing my face I like to massage my face with coconut oil and gua sha then I use rose water as a toner and spray in on my face [ it helped me with pimples] also while washing my face I usually use cold water since my skin doesn’t like hot or warm water !
Then I use my moisturiser and I use baby cream as a moisturiser! Then I just use my sunscreen I use it from lakmé and yeah ! That’s it

Also YK creating a playlist to make you feel that way helps alot ! And I literally listen to the songs and playlist to have that kinda vibe which I want
HAIR ::
I use rice water for my hair ! It’s quite simple to use just soak rice in water the day before you have to wash your hair and then when you have to wash it ! Just rinse you hair with rice for like an hour then just wash it like you usually do ! I do it and it helped me alot !
Also for hair style I will recommend @dear peachie as they show you which hairstyle is best for your face shape as my face shape is diamond so I just go with Wonyoung’s hairstyle as they suit me the best and rosé’s hairstyle aswell
At night time ::
At night time I like to just wash my face without the face wash and then I like to moisturise it with the cream and yeah ! That’s it
Lips ::
Many ppl don’t mention the lip part but yeah ! I love to scrub my lips using my own DIY lip scrub coz I’m born at in a strict family and they won’t buy me a lip scrub so I decided to DIY it so… take sugar , honey and coconut oil mix them together and that’s it and then after I’m done I like to ise vasline for my lips !
Beauty hacks ::
Use coconut oil for long lashes or thick eye brow
Keep two spoons in fridge then take them in the morning and massage with them under your eyes for de-puffing your face
Do face yoga to get slimer and defined face
Mental glow up
Once you have a really good and powerful mindset no one can stop you from being your best self
Be your own therapist ::
Now take a diary rant on it , write your emotions, explain your day your problem and just imagine it as your best friend who won’t judge you and help you to feel better! When I tell you that paper had more patience than real people I’m telling you the fact ! Being your own therapist can help you be yourself better and just clear up your mind once you share everything with your diary
Explore ::
Go to new places and explore them try to socialise or go on date with yourself yk solo dates spend some time with yourself! Go to cafe or a restaurant and make bunch of friends but don’t get attached to anyone! DONOTTT ! Be bold and confident because you live once and you won’t get that moment in life again so just goo for it ! You don’t wanna be old and regret to not give a goo and enjoy instead you wanna remember those beautiful memories!
Don’t give a Fu.k ::
I Personally love this one ! Because it says your energy from being wasted and your mood probably too…!
All you gotta do is react less and ignore the things that you don’t like or the people you don’t like ! Simple
Eg - they make fun of you because you’re being you :: don’t give a f and enjoy what you’re doin’
You’re bestie showed you her/his real colours and turned out to be a nasty ugly creature [ and a plastic] don’t react it was probably a lesson for you , ignore her / him

10 Natural Dry Skin Remedies You Can DIY at Home
Sometimes we don’t pay much attention to caring for our skin, even though it’s the largest organ in the body. Skin suffers from dryness due to winter weather, hot showers and vigorous scrubbing with a towel when we dry ourselves.
You don’t have to head out to buy expensive lotions and potions to rehydrate your skin – your kitchen may already contain all the ingredients you need. Natural remedies are also better for your skin, as they don’t contain all the extra chemicals that manufactured skin creams have in them.
Here are 10 simple and all-natural remedies for dry skin:
1. Olive Oil Cleanser
Olive oil works as a natural cleanser and moisturizer. All you need to do is rub the oil on your skin and drape a warm, damp cloth over your face until it cools. Wipe away any excess oil and you’re done. Olive oil is a good choice for a skin cleanser because it doesn’t strip away your skin’s natural oils.
2. Rich Avocado Mask
The creamy richness of avocado works well to soothe dry skin. We suggest pureeing half an avocado and mixing it with a teaspoon of olive oil. If your skin is very dry, add a tablespoon of honey too. Apply the mask and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. For an extra moisture boost, apply your regular moisturizer after you have removed the mask.
3. Olive Oil and Sugar Scrub
This combination makes a great exfoliating scrub with moisturizing benefits. Mix half a cup of sugar with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. You can also add an essential oil, such as lavender, to give a soothing fragrance.
Rub the mixed ingredients into your skin, and then wash off. Apply a moisturizer to double up on the benefits of exfoliated skin.
4. Oatmeal Bath Soak
Add a cup of oatmeal to a warm bath, and enjoy the benefits of rehydrated skin. The oat product has skin-soothing properties, and it also helps your skin to retain moisture from the water.
5. Homemade Oatmeal Honey Mask
Oatmeal also makes a good mask or exfoliator. Mix 2 tablespoons of oats with a tablespoon of honey and a dash of water. Gently warm the mixture, then rub it onto your skin. It can be used as an exfoliator and washed off straight away, or you can leave it on for around 15 to 20 minutes as a hydrating mask.
6. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil isn’t just useful in the kitchen – use it as a moisturizing cream at bedtime. Because it is solid at room temperature, it can be applied easily. If you have chapped hands and feet, apply the oil, then cover with thick socks or non-latex gloves.
7. Add Oil to Your Bath
Natural oils such as olive, coconut, argan and avocado oil can be used as a bath soak to moisturize skin and protect the natural skin barrier, which is often stripped away by washing with drying soaps that remove the natural oils from the skin.
Add a few tablespoons of oil under running bath water. If you don’t fancy scrubbing the oil slick off the bath after you’ve finished, rub a small amount of oil to your skin after your bath instead.
8. Milk Compresses
Milk has natural anti-inflammatory properties, and it contains lactic acid, which works as a mild, natural exfoliant. Apply milk compresses to your skin for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. It’s great for irritated, itchy skin too, but lactic acid can sting cracked skin, so use with caution. Apply milk by soaking a washcloth in a bowl of cold milk and then pressing it against your driest, itchiest spots for a few minutes.
9. Fruit Enzyme Cleanser or Exfoliant
Fruit enzymes can really help your skin during cold weather. The alpha-hydroxy acids exfoliate the top layer of dull, dead skin cells on the face and body.
Use a pineapple, pumpkin or papaya fruit-enzyme face mask twice a week for bright skin.
10. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera gel isn’t just for treating sunburn. It can help your skin during the winter months by reducing redness and irritation due to dryness.
Some people can develop allergic contact dermatitis from aloe, so do a patch test first before applying it to a big area of skin.
