tbh i think the reason most of vivs character designs fall flat is bc she just.. doesnt really get fashion. like thats why all her male charas end up in suits & most of her fem characters wear like shorts and crop tops. like why is octavia wearing hot pink with a star pattern & a beanie. her design gives more barbie stoner than emo princess. anyways thats just my opninon

And I agree, I'm not really fond of a lot of designs in Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel because they're all very repetitive in terms of body and fashion.

I'm not an artist at all, but I feel like Viv is creatively bankrupt when it comes to character designs. Or she's just too comfortable with what she's making. Or both because Crimson's design is bad because it's BLAND.

I wouldn't mind Octavia having a Gothic fashion sense if Millie and Loona didn't have a Gothic type clothing.

Imo, Octavia should have a dark dress. A dress similar to her mother's but with the colors of her father's.

Octavia Redesign🌒

Made my own take on Octavia for fun!!!! I always loved how casual her look is compared to her parents more regal styles. Also dig her having a celestial motif⭐️.

Because for my take, Stella has a sun motif while Stolas still has a moon motif. I gave Via an eclipse motif🌙☀️🌒!!!!!! Why I added darker colors, more circle shapes and for her eyes I was going for an eclipse. I kept the star motif from her OG aswell but I made them into pentagrams and smaller sparkles and constellations for her mesh & hat. Fun fact, apparently during eclipses you could see all kinds of different stars and even planets!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🪐🪐🪐🪐🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌

Pushed for a Nu-Goth aesthetic with celestial motifs, I figure it’d fit well for her whole love of the occult☠️🔮🌌

Switched out the sweater for a purple dress with sparkly mesh. Casual but still very classy for a Goth Princess✨✨✨✨✨👑👑👑

Made her hair longer with a dark purplish gradient. Ngl Marceline the Vampire Queen(Adventure Time) and (Teen Titans)Blackfire gave me inspiration. Also gave her V-bangs.

I really wanted to add more of her mom’s physical traits into her, show her as a mix of her dad and mom for the eclipse theme. @lovesart23 Octavia really helped me consider on how to add her moms swan traits. She has a gradient glow which she gets from her dad but also has long lashes which is part of her mom’s eye marking developing. I can see most assume it’s eyeliner. Also made her body type more of a medium of her dad and mom’s figures.

Went for purple instead of pink. Stella(pink) + Stolas(blue) makes purple! It’s also a color that symbolizes magic, royalty and very gothic💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Removed the boots, giving her a mix of her dads and mom’s feet. Has webbed so she can swim well being part swan 🦢

Gave her skin a purplish gray tint as cygnets(young swans) have gray skin so I imagine she’d still have a bit of gray.

Made her tail less big. Also gave her talons like her mom but black🖤

Replaced her crown beanie for a more gothic Wide Brim hat with constellations 🌌

Gave her hair a gradient as when she was a kid which I assume is from Stella’s side since It was shown she had some white gradient and I wanted to bring that back to show her also getting it from Stolas’ side with his gradient.

Octavia slipped on her leather boots, a thick hoodie, leggings and throwing her big leather jacket over her outfit, she slipped on her black beanie as she walked out her hotel room. She walked down the hall slipping her phone into her pocket. Octavia walked through the quiet hotel lobby and out into the cold dark outside.

Octavia quickly got to the street light crossing the road and walking to the player entrance of the arena, she scanned her pass and walked through the almost completely dark hallway, she slipped into the USA locker rooms turning the lights on. Octavia sat at her stall sliding her boots off and putting on her skates and quickly lacing them up. She stood up walked out of the locker room and grabbing her stick on the way out.

Octavia was walking closer to the ice and she heard pucks being shot, she quietly walked to the class wacthing a boy skate around the ice shooting at the goals. She smirked slightly and opened the door to the ice quickly making the boy turn around at the sound.

Simon turned his head at the girl thinking she was very pretty, “Hello?” Simon questioned tilting his head in a way that reminded Octavia of a puppy.

“Hi.” Octavia nodded back getting onto the ice while noticing the accent from Simon.

“I’m Simon.” Simon smiled skating closer to the girl.

“Octavia.” Octavia nodded slowly shaking his freezing cold hand.

Octavia slowly started skating around with a puck and Simon started skating with her asking her lots of questions, so many questions that for some reason Octavia answered all of them, even though she wouldn’t with anyone else she just met.

The two spent hours there skating around before they started hearing the early morning workers already coming in and they knew they had to get off the ice to at least get some sleep.

Simon finished taking off his skates first and waited by the player entrance for her.

Octavia saw Simon leaning against the wall for her and smiled slightly to herself before walking over to him, Simon quickly leaned off the wall when he saw her and opened the door getting hit by the freezing air, and the falling snow.

Octavia and Simon walked back to the hotel that they both are staying at and started walking to the their own rooms when Simon called out her name, “Octavia?”

Octavia smiled a little hearing the way her name sounded with his accent and turned around to him, “Yes?”

“Can i get your number?” Simon shyly asked brushing a hand through his hair.

Octavia paused but nodded grabbing her phone out of her leather jacket and opened it to the contacts and handed it to Simon, Simon quickly added his phone number and sent a text from her phone to him before handing it back to her.

“Goodnight Octavia.” Simon smiled at the girl.

“Goodnight.” Octavia nodded at the boy.

Octavia’s reaction to Asmodeus

Loona and Via sat crouched by the door, listening to Blitz and Stolas on the otherside. "We're trapped in a h*rny prison!" Blitz shouted from inside.

“Those two would be given a life sentence.” Via smirked at Loona, who was now happily hogging all the popcorn.

Loona munched as she talked, “Absolutely! They are by far the horniest people I know.”

“Well, you’ve clearly never been to Lust.” Ozzie said as he approached from around the corner.

“Oh, the chicken’s back-” Loona started.

“Lord Asmodeus!” Via stood up suddenly, dusting herself off. She started, to curtsey, realized she wasn’t in a long dress, fumbled a bit, and ended up bending slightly at the waist, hoping it would suffice.

"Asmo-wha . . .?" Loona mumbled. She had met him earlier, but hadn't learned his name.

Ozzie smiled at Via's attempt at being proper and ruffled her hair and beanie, "Octavia! I haven't seen you since you still had down! How you been?"

Via took off her hat to adjust her hair, then put it back on, "I, Uh- I'm fine."

Loona stood up and leaned on  Via's shoulder, "You mind catching me up on what's going on here."

"Oh, uh, Loona this is Asmodeus, the embodiment of lust. And Asmodeus, this is Loona, Blitz's . . . roommate?" Via trailed off.

"And receptionist. Good to meet you properly." Loona stuck out her hand, and Via tried not to visibly cringe at the incorrect social conduct.

Ozzie took the handshake without missing a beat, "Charmed! Are you young ladies enjoying the show?"

"Yeah, where'd you guys go earlier?" Loona leaned fully onto Via's head, who pushed her off, only mildly annoyed.

"Oh, we're just on the other side of the building, prepping some things." He smiled knowingly, "Just wanted to say hi to Stolas's pride and joy. Still can't believe how tall you are now. You training with the astro magic . . . Doohickey?"

"Yeah, the grimoire . . . Dad's teaching me some things. . ." Via rubbed her arm nervously.

Asmodeus had been holding a walkie talkie, which had been silent, but now Fizzarolli's voice came through, "Ozzzzzie! Come baaaaack! I'm boooorrreed!"

Asmodeus sighed, and crouched down to eye level to the Via, "Sorry, I've got to go, but listen, I can't imagine how rough your family life is right now. I'm honestly surprised you're cool with all this. And I know you don't really know me, or I you, but if there's ever anything I can do for you, call me, okay?"

Ozzie produced a small business card, and Via took it, looking the artistic details on both sides, which looked like beautiful design at a glance, but upon closer inspection, included d*cks in the intricate designs.

"Ozzzzzzzzziiiiiiieeeee! I can't trash talk Blitz by myself, I need an audience!!! Come laugh at my jooookkkesss!" Fizz's voice whined.

"Alright, I'd better get back, before I upset the Misses." Asmodeus bowed to them both, and turned into a blue flame, floating away.

The two stood there in silence for a moment, before Loona said, " . . . Wow . . . The deep-fried, feathered d*ckhead is a deadly sin."

I imagined Via's relationship with Ozzie to be that of like a great uncle or your dad’s cousin’s husband. Someone you might see at extended family reunions, and maybe hear about in family stories, but you’ve only actually met in person like 4 times, and 2 of those was before you were old enough to remember. But they remember fondly being there when you were 2 and played in a toilet that one time, so you’ve gotta accept their love for you; even if you know more about your local underpaid baristas who you see briefly once or twice a week, than them. That's my headcanon, anyway.

How did the The Vermin members all first meet up and come up with the idea to start a band?

Barb (beige with orange hair) and Aurora (vaporeon) are married, and while Aurora was visiting Octavia (an Absol, basically her mentor), Octavia's fling Jess (the pink dragon) barged in and after some awkwardness they got talking and hit it off and started hanging out

The three of them already had some musical intuition, but it really clicked when the 3 of them encountered Grungo (the pale olm in the beanie) and thought they could harmonize well with her extremely deep singing voice

They called their band The Vermin due to their pasts all being kinda death-defying and yet they live on, happily. They're also all lesbians

Bellamy doesn’t know how long they sleep for-he comes in and out of consciousness many times. He can tell she sneaks out of his embrace and remembers her calling him and asking him to swallow this or that pill, drink more water.

He can tell it’s day now judging by the light coming from the window as grey as it is, he knows he coughs, he can feel her stethoscope against his chest, his back protests loudly, angrily with every breath he takes, so do his lungs.

When he finally wakes up and he can make out his surroundings he can tell she’s in the bathroom cause the water’s running. It smells like bacon and toast which he spots on a wooden trey on the chair she used for her medical supplies last night.

Suddenly, he remembers everything that happened-her getting angry at him when she found him by the bus stop, the police officers, then them coming here, fighting, him getting bad, her worrying over him, waking up in the middle of the night and realizing that her best friend Wells was one of the soldiers whose death he’s witnessed. Her crying her heart out and him holding her in his arms before they fell asleep.

Grief pressed hard on his chest and he tried to move up a little but everything hurt and he started coughing right away.

“Hey, take it easy, alright?” her voice interrupts his weak attempts and he falls back on the pillows. She’s wearing nothing but a white towel around her, her hair was dripping wet and she reached out for his forehead, furrowing her eyebrows at it before her hand slid to his neck to check his pulse.

“What’s...the time?”

“It’s a little before noon. We have to head out for your appointment soon.” he nods “Do you think you can handle it?” he nods but doesn’t say anything else. He just feels...empty.

He watches her dress and thinks how beautiful she is but he doesn’t move from his place and when she comes back to him and tries to get an idea of his general state, he lets her without fighting her about it.

She seems angry at what she sees but she doesn’t comment on it and he can tell that both of them are just feeling quite somber after everything that happened last night.

He never once would’ve thought that someone dying in his arms out there would have such an impact on his life back home. He didn’t even know Clarke back then, he never would’ve assumed he would or that he’d share this story with her.

If Octavia hadn’t signed him up for Gabriel’s group, he never would’ve met her. If he hadn’t tried to kill himself she wouldn’t have to look for those in the first place. If he had been stronger, better none of this would’ve happened. If he was faster, he could’ve saved Murphy and maybe even himself. If he had been a better soldier and forced Wells to come up to the hill with him that day, he may have never been hit.

Clarke could have her best friend now. Lord knows she could’ve used him. After everything she’s been through, Wells would’ve been the shoulder she could’ve leaned on.

But instead he let his life fade away and Bellamy wonders now if Clarke’s thinking about that too.

If she’s blaming him as well.

She must find him disgusting. He knows that he can barely stand himself.

“You have to eat now.” she says when she pulls up the chair closer to the bed and moves the tray.

He shakes his head and rolls over on his side. He didn’t want to eat “Bellamy, come on.” she begs thinking this was just his stubborn nature but there’s something really broken in his eyes, in his behavior as a whole. 

He refuses to eat but he doesn’t fight her on anything else. When she forces him to sit up and get dressed, he doesn’t falter, even if he hurts. When she gives him medicine, he takes it, when she moves him to the wheelchair and covers his legs with the blanket, his head with a soft beanie and puts his jacket on, he only helps her as much as he can.

But he’s not uttering a word. 

He’s quiet. Solemn. 

And from what she can tell very sad.

"Ugh" Octavia pulled down her beanie and left the house, hearing both parents at it made her want to just stay away. She heard about the latest new VoxTech item, so she decided to go there.

"The young Owlet used a badly disguise to make sure she wasn't seen since there's still talk about her father being with an Imp and doesn't want to be bothered with the questions. She entered into the building and looked around.
