You can call me polufabrikat or simple_user (simple user), the second one is actually a username for most of my artblogs (especially for old ones (I put that username as a mark)) and I go by she/her pronounce. I'm an aroace with ASD, AvPD and DPDR, nice to meet you :)

On this blog I'm going to post some things about Pathologic, Silent Hill, Arcaea, Deltarune, FNaF, JoJo Golden Wind (mainly about Doppio and Diavolo), other fandoms and topics I'm interested in, and some more random things.

• Some things you should know:

I !DON'T! believe Diavolo and Doppio is about DID, so my art about them doesn't refer to plurality in any way. Please, think twice when you're about to like or reblog my art of them, I highly recommend you to read my theory about them first [theory]. Also, I don't ship them;

hello! im rory and these are my pd allyship flags. i have bpd (diagnosed, but i do support self dx) and am always looking to stand for the persodivergent community

i attempt to give flag credits when i can and if i can, though sometimes i miss them. if you know who created a flag and i dont have them / their post linked, please let me know either in rb, asks, or dms!

i do not have a specific dni because anyone can have a pd. anyone can use my pd flags aslong as they apply to you (ex: having bpd and using the bpd supporting npd flag).

I was recently diagnosed with AVPD! I've made this blog to talk about my experiences living with it. I have various other disorders and illnesses, including BPD, CPSTD, Autism, and OCD. I also am chronically ill, and struggle mostly with fatigue and brain fog.

i’ve never seen an “Internet Safety Tips For Minors” post that i fully agree with and feel comfortable with reblogging. Even if I agree with the sentiment, I can’t help myself from projecting and remembering my own self being a minor. Being told “don’t put your diagnoses/sexuality/etc in your bio” - especially on tumblr - is not gonna prevent people from doing exactly that. And really there is no tangible difference from putting the word autistic in your bio vs tagging all of your posts with #thatautismfeel, you know?

i mean obviously people should be given tips to be safe offline, and no one should be pressured to share vulnerable info but a lot of it feels weirdly fearmongery and stranger danger-y. Also a lot of kids are stubborn especially when an adult that they don’t know is offering them advice that they don’t want. If some Tumblr Elder had told 16 year old me to remove all of my self-diagnosed personality disorders from my bio for my safety i would’ve started posting about my PDs even more out of spite. (Which in itself is very teenager-with-self-diagnosed-PD coded lol.) 

i also feel like there’s some people who genuinely don’t understand what it’s like to be, or at least don’t remember what it’s like to be, a kid whose literal ONLY support system whatsoever is online. To a lot of mentally ill/ND kids, they’d rather risk being harassed or doxxed for shit like “15 year old nonbinary transmasc lesbian with self-diagnosed schizophrenia, autism, adhd, avpd, bpd, stpd, and bipolar” in their bio as long as they still have an online support system filled with people going through similar things, than leave all of that out and have literally NO ONE. Of course there’s a middle ground - i.e. existing online but only disclosing your disorders to those you’re close to, or running an anonymous vent blog, etc, but the truth is a lot of people who are young and/or suffering don’t want to do that.

It’s also so so so easy to victim blame in posts like that. Yeah ofc it’s not, like, smart, to post information that can be used to track you down- but if you end up being tracked down/doxxed, that’s the fault of people who did that, not you.

like trust me I’m not saying kids SHOULD post about their queerness/race/religion/diagnoses, but they also should not be shamed or scared out of doing so.

i don’t know how or why i keep putting myself in situations that are objectively torture for a person with avpd, but here we are.

i’m applying for grad schools, so i had to send five cold emails (including two to professors i haven’t talked to in years) asking for recommendations and i’ve attended more online info sessions than i care to count (including one where there was only one other person attending).

i’m also gearing up to quit my job and get a new job, which means having to tell my manager i’m quitting (something i’ve never had to do before because my past jobs were all student jobs that just ended at the end of the year) and descending into job interview hell.

on top of that, i also just started a new second job (because i needed the extra experience to apply for grad school) where they basically didn’t train me at all. they just dump me into a new situation with new people every week and say “figure it out as you go!”

and as if all of that wasn’t bad enough, both jobs i’m currently working, all of the jobs i’m applying to, and and the career i’m going to grad school for are all incredibly people-focused jobs. why would i do that to myself, you ask? because i was cursed with “social interaction makes me want to die but i feel like my life has no worth if i’m not directly helping people” disease.

not to mention, i also just signed up for an event next year where i’ll be staying with a bunch of total strangers for a weekend and hoping to come out of it with at least one friend (an expectation which will probably just set me up for devastating disappointment). and that’s just something i’m doing for fun.

and honestly? i don’t know if i’m committed to all of it because i think i might actually be capable of pulling it all off, or if i’m just stuck doing it anyway because i can’t stand the humiliation of having to tell everyone i’m giving up.

i’m trying, y’all. i’m trying so hard to grit my teeth and fake my way into an adult life with a good, stable career and a good group of people to live it with. 99% of the time i feel like it’s going to crash and burn horribly and end in a mental breakdown i can’t come back from.

but god, am i trying.

STPD, I'm still thinking about Pasithea, the Oneiroi or Hypnos from the magical thinking/odd beliefs and distorted perceptions criteria but how I imagine them doesn't fit the other criteria and we don't have much insight on Clovis (only Hypnos kid we're exposed to) so. Again. Alas.

PPD is complicated. On one hand, the way I perceive Zeus's anxiety, like, he definitely has paranoia, especially persecutory beliefs. But I'm not sure if a) I would say my perception of him, as a character, applies to enough of the criteria, or b) if it would make sense to give his kids the propensity for it. I gotta look more into it, but given what the disorder is, there's not a lot of info and I've found that people don't speak much to their life experiences. Which makes sense, but again. Alas.
