Finished crochet snails! Beetlejuice snail is heading for the soft toy category in the 2025 Royal, because I think it’ll look hilarious sitting amongst a bunch of crochet teddies/dolls. Mini skull snail is made using a mix of leftover shawl yarns and last years xmas advent yarns.

Art yarn bag this morning. Needed something that's not a sock heel to work on today. No idea how it'll turn out or what shape I want, so it may be something totally different next time I have pictures...im kinda thinking it could make a good spinning bag if I make it long but not wide and maybe felt it ?

Iirc it's mostly wool, but the other ply is cotton yarn, so idk how that would felt. We'll see !

I spun my first boucle yarn! This wool is about 3/4 of an ounce of BFL locks, dyed by Blackwater Treasures and spun on a drop spindle. I plied it with a metallic silver poly machine embroidery thread.

I specifically went for an art yarn look! Some spots are lace-thin and others are super thick and fluffy. I had a lot of fun playing fast and loose and just letting the spin go where it wanted.

Y'all.... this looks like a GALAXY! I love how it ended up. My friends heard me cackling as the ply went in. I have a few more of the locks left that I'm going to add in to a corriedale/silk blend I have.

DUSKMAVEN - 480 yards Sport Weight Art Yarn

I need to get better photos but the light has been bad after work and I’ve been putting off updating my shop too long, but black always washes out

SO THIS IS ONE OF MY CRITICAL ROLE YARNS

It’s made up of 3 different skeins that have slightly different variegation because my ideal is that I never get bored with colors during spinning and neither does a patron while knitting. They’re titled Raven’s Crest (the temple where Vax goes into the blood pool, which this is themed from), Communion Pool (that’s the most heavily red one, but transitions on either end of the skein to dark so it will join nicely), and Deathwalker’s Ward (for maximum angst you know I had to do it).

Anyway, felt timely with Downfall to at least show this off.

More flame yarn!!!! Both in the ply and the colors!!! I saw this color batt at the fiber fest and truly could not resist my fire fire aesthetic! This one doesn’t have the beehives of the other but I like it a lot still, the silk adds that shine
