The lined paper blanket is finally done! It’s made to scale of a college ruled 8.5inx11in piece of paper.

No pattern used, it was entirely self drafted. This took me about 3 months to complete, working on it on and off. I probably put around 80 hours into this blanket so far, but that’s just a rough estimate.

Ganondorf! We love Ganondorf, we love the Wind Waker style, this was just a fun pattern to follow. I actually finished this one a few days ago and I just haven’t bothered posting it until now.

Modified the pattern slightly in that I thought it would be more fun to make the jewelry (headpiece, pendant) out of yarn and needle felt instead of printing it on paper, and I also embroidered and needle-felted the Triforce of Power onto his hand. Size 3 (DK) cotton yarn, size C (2.75 mm) hook. He’s pretty small, maybe 5 in / 12 cm tall. He doesn’t really like to stand up on his own, but he can!

I think the Wind Waker art style translates to crochet pretty well!

my crochet grid is finally finished!!!! i started this i think two weeks ago? and now its done!! i plan on turning this into a sweater soon :33

grid i used + more specific info under the cut

this is the cd artwork specifically (hence the roses on the top and bottom) that i imported into stitchfiddle and tweaked a teeny bit to clean it up. its 65 x 65 stitches

i used a 4 mm hook and weight 4 yarn, so mine ended up being about 17x17 inches but of course yours may differ depending on hook size and yarn weight if you plan on making this :3

My 2024 Crafting Adventures!

first, last year started as many have for me: with lots and lots of crocheted Mushroom Buddies:

i loved some of the yarn i bought for mushrooms so much, i made a tunisian crochet 10 stitch blanket:

i knooked (knitted with a crochet hook) this pouch to hold tokens for a board game:

and then i finally learned to knit with needles like a normal person, and started some mittens (that I've very nearly finished now, just one thumb to go!)

I learned to knit socks, and was promptly overtaken by sock madness between mitten 1 and 2, and knit 3 pairs of socks (+2 unpaired socks) in 2 months; only one pair pictured bc of tumblr photo limit:

i learned to double knit:

and finally, i drafted and did a test swatch of what will eventually become a shawl pattern, and even learned the i-cord bind off in the process!

a very, very eventful crafting year, even though i was quite ill for about 4 months in the middle of it.

After ages I've eventually finished my Crochet Narinder Plushy as well and I'm happy to announce that they can FINALLY cuddle and make up for all the lost months
