In order, we have Minus Morgul (Fossil Fibers), Red Panda (Felting Ewe), & Fantasy Forest (Fossil Fibers dyes Ents at War, Redwoods, & Hiccup).

I’m finally working on a #redteapotatelier shawl! This is the darjeeling tea shawl pattern using my dragon’s breath handspun. The crochet is really helping to hide some flaws in the handspun which is a bonus.

Soooo, I made a booboo. I accidentally made the skull shell size small instead of the large. I thought I had enough of this yarn left to make up the large version, based on the pattern yardage, but nope, I ran out before doing the skull. Thus, the shell received beetlejuice black stripes instead and I’ll also make up a small snail for the other shell.

Moffman mask WIP. Feather setting only took an afternoon and I’m so hyped with how it turned out. Only a few minor adjustments before this mask is finished!

I am so pleased with how this is turning out! Though I did realise after I’d already complete the shell that I’d accidentally made the wrong size, oh no! I have enough white handspun to make up the correct larger size, so I’m just gonna have to make the small snail body using my christmas advent handspuns. Snail party incoming 🐌 🐌 🐌

Moffman mask wip. Finishing touches added to the hood were rolling the bottom edge, adding a loop for the battery pack, and adding some cotton around the top edge. That cotton was absolutely essential for accurately positioning and gluing the hood onto the mask.

Moffman WIP. Sewing up the hood went pretty damn quickly, but now I have to fidget with it a bit to attach it to the mask base.

I’m trying to use up some leftover handspun & decided to make a spooky Halloween Snailbus. I’m using the giant snail amigurumi pattern by CraftyIntentions. I’ve got the foot base done and am halfway through the body top.

Finally bought the Quinn headbase from DVC so now I can finish off the moffman mask to accurately fit me! Discovered that I could pattern the hood with the jaw closed as I don’t need excess slack for the moving jaw because of how the mask is sculpted.

*cackles* I managed to get 400g of ‘ice cream’ merino & milk fibre singles on my bobbin. I’m planning to measure off 3 equal lengths of singles to 3 ply with a sparkly silver thread.

Eeeeeeeeeee! Look what arrived yesterday! The largest fibre order I have EVER made and the currency conversion was horrific, but these colour ways are just. so. gorgeous! I have no regrets. Fibres are handdyed by Fossil Fibres.

I present ‘Prince Johnny-Seed’ the apple themed barong.

This sculpt was so damn fun to paint and I have lots more fruit themed ideas for this sculpt. I have decided this one is going to stay within my personal collection for now.
