#that was the first thing my mother said to me today#I gave some nonsense excuse about having an apple watch again and trying to fill my rings even on my days off#I've got to think of reasons to tell her for this if it's already noticable#I can't SEE IT#but apparently she can#i wanna be weightless#ed no sheeran#ed not sheeran#tw ana shit#I don't think she would suspect... this#because my main tactic has been to only eat when someone else is also eating and/or give me the food#so I eat with my brother when he drags me out to lunch#and I eat dinner on my days off work#and if she hands me a tiny snack (often a couple pieces of cheese)#but never never never at work or when I get home from work at 11pm#So I'm doing 2-3 day fasts#and a lot of omad on the days I do eat#Saturdays off being the exception because of my brother; we drive up to cedar point and eat out twice#I honestly think this is a good way to do it too#because it feels MAINTAINABLE#it's really a very small tweak from my old habits#and the loss is still pretty fast. :)

usual deficit - most of the time i have 300kcal on weekdays, 500kcal on sundays and 1200kcal on saturdays, which is reallyyyyy low so dont go straight into it if youre used to smth more ykwim
metab sandwich - 1200kcal plus on weekends, liquid fasts on weekdays !! defo dont do this one full time, five day fasts every week is unbearable i usually only do this for like two weeks when i need to drop weight fast
omad - i stand by pookie omad frfr its great when i dont wanna count cals but i dont wanna just fast either
low res - 1200kcal everyday :33 perfect for losing weight wo worrying people since its not rapid and its v easy to eat 'a normal amount' if you choose the right foods :D also great if you binge a lot :3

i know a lot of high schooler/college rexies on here struggle a lot with getting good grades or keeping their friends/family from being suspicious, because i have too, but now that i know how to get my brain to work even while under-eating, here are my best tips! (.づ◡﹏◡)づ.
REMINDER: this is what works for ME! i dont know if it will for you, but give it a try!
★ caffeine, but not too much. max one coffee/one energy drink per day, and not after 6!
★ nuts are great; i recommend pistachios because they’re my fav, but i believe walnuts and almonds are the best ones for brain functions
★ dried fruits along with nuts; raisins, dates, prunes or cranberries preferably. quick sugar, very efficient! i find having a nakd bar before a test increases my concentration overall, so def recommend having that or dates with nut butter.
★ eat slow. i know a lot of people say it, but seriously! i’ve always eaten slow, and having small portions goes unnoticeable if you eat slow. even better; when eating with friends, open your lunch box and speak as you ‘eat’ while actually not touching it.
★ fruits and steamed veggies. again, everyone says it, but honestly the best. i don’t care if they have ‘too much sugar’ or ‘too much carb’, they’re low cal.
★ egg whites, lean fish, lean meat, tofu… protein is important!! i’m vegetarian, and i do tofu scrambles, which are super low cal and really filling. don’t overdo the protein though, there’s no use. have one or two protein foods per day, and protein bars if that’s your thing.
★ say you hate condiments such as mayo, oil and butter. all my friends know i hate butter and oil (say by themselves, that you don’t mind if it’s in cooked things so they’re not suspicious) and so they’ll never offer me anything too oily. same with mayo!
★ say you’re going with no sugar for a few weeks. by the end of them, they won’t even notice you’re not eating high cal sweets!
★ in the evenings, try to have extra curricular activities to avoid eating dinner with your parents. i’m out 3 out of 5 week days, and my mum isn’t home one evening. on fridays, i always pretend i ate a lot in the afternoon. this honestly really depends on you, so i get it might be hard. but don’t worry, if you eat basically nothing at school, having dinner at home can be your omad and it won’t hurt your progress.
★ WEEK ENDS. they’re so hard, i agree. Once again, try going to sports or say you’re going on a morning run, then say you grabbed food on your way back. pretend you go out to eat with friends and just go for a nice walk. spend a lot of time studying, especially practicing with exercises and just grab a pack of chips (don’t eat any, or just one or two) so you can pretend to have overeaten and avoid dinner/lunch!

guess who's back
hiii guyssss i wonder if any of you even remember me anymore hahaha. i've been gone for like three months, but i only just popped in for a little while during the summer, which means its like over half a year since i've been ✨actively active✨ on here.:((( to recap what my life has been like since summer (if any of you even care lol): i've been on sick leave from school got diagnosed w anxiety and ocd been going to a therapist every couple of weeks had a lot of bad days rotting in bed and i will soon be starting medicine to help me battle my social anxiety yay i've gained some weight since i last checked in. i'm not exactly sure how much, since i'm too scared to weigh myself, but i would estimate that i weigh about 59 kg now. some of my clothes are fitting tighter and i generally feel more uncomfortable now.
and what have I been doing to change that?
well, most of the time i've been in a restrict-and-b/nge-cycle, which suuuuckksss sooooo bad. but this past ... week-ish ... i feel like i've been in control and my appetite is generally pretty low atm. yesterday i did omad w about 550 calories, and during the weekend i had to eat w others, but skipped breakfast and tried to eat as little as possible. most of the time i skip breakfast, but atm i'm trying to fast until dinner-time, since i actually dont really struggle w not eating until about 2/4 pm.
i am also probably joining my local gym soon, since they have a nice offer atm, and i need to get back into running and lifting some weights, to make this process go faster.
aight, i think thats all from me for now. i missed this!!! i really want to be succesfull this time...

Not to trigger or anything girly but can you drop some tips and advice to lose w that really works? Dont be afraid to tw
Ok, here I go the best tips and the ones that have helped me the most to lose weight are doing omad every day, some days fasting but a maximum of 48 hours to avoid binge eating, if you eat more you have to purge and to have results you don't need Do a lot of exercise but you have to do at least 10k steps so go for a walk for 1 hour every day. To have a waist, wear a girdle all night (you can buy it at Shein ID: 11887050, this is the best) and do YouTube workouts to slim your thighs. The most essential thing is that you weigh yourself every morning to become obsessed with your weight and thus follow all these steps more easily. You can also use laxatives and watch thinspo on Pinterest to pass the time, try to find hobbies to not think about food and make time go by faster.

my “rexie tips n tricks” losing weight healthily yada yada yada is below the cut if you’re interested!
cw: 180lxs 81kg (i know it got out of hand 🥲)
gw: 130lxs 58kg (doing everything i can to get here by christmas)
ugw: not sure, just wanna see my b0nes. maybe 111lxs (50kg)? (gimme that angel number baybeee)
lw: 145lxs 65kg
so basically, if you do these things i can guarantee you 100% will lose weight. if you’ve plateaued, if you’re just starting out, if you’re trying to take it slow after relapsing, even if you’re petite and need a metab boost to start loosing lxs again, i’m not saying it’s good to be apart of this community but im along this ride w ya so. here u go.
1. keep your e@ting window as small as possible aka eat to live don’t live to eat (the r3xie motto 🤪). i’m f@sting minimum 16:8 and i try to extend that. but major thing is don’t beat yourself up if you can’t make it 16hrs and be happy the days you can make it longer!! esp if your just starting out.
2. stay low c@l. i’m trying my best to stay under 500 c@l/day. and consume that how it works for you. if five 100 c@l snacks over 8 hrs work best some days that’s ok. if OMAD works best, great! my mom is a dietitian and i promise, eating a little of each food group (dairy, carb ik scary, protein, veg & fruit) will help your metab which in the long run will help you l0se more weight. sometimes just having one protein bar mid day works 4 me. others i need a full meal. fuel your body or you will burn muscle which leads to organ damage.
3. don’t do LONG term fasts. i’d say up to a week with heavy liquids is okay. and not just water, incorporate broths, mio, even sugar free jello is good (if it’s clear typically it’s ok) but long term fasts can lower your metabolism, deplete electrolytes, and sodium, which long term is going to bloat you, keep weight on (or make you gain it back quickly), and overall make you feel like shit (which could lead to hospitalization)
4. don’t eat refined sugar or refined foods. do literally AS MUCH AS YOU CAN to eat sugar free and whole foods. i have a major sweet tooth so i turn to sugar free jello/pudding, sf caramels, halo top ice cream if i REALLY need it. otherwise i do sweet fruits and veggie based substitutions for carbs. i use cauliflower rice, zucchini noodles, or there’s these great hearts of palm noodles.
5. eat tons of fiber!! laxatives will help momentarily, consistent fiber will keep your 💩 regular thus keeping your body from holding onto it aka extra lxs. i add unflavored benefiber to a lot of my drinks (the flavored ones have added sugar). i honestly could promise you that fiber will help with shedding !bs.
6. drink as much water as you possibly can. yes you can become over-hydrated so add electrolytes or legit just a lil salt to your water here n there. but your body is going to retain water (!bs), and bloat if you are dehydrated. #1 thing to remember is you are depleting your body of what it wants. finding a way to basically trick it makes it easier and quicker to lose fat.
7. stay distracted! discipline and hunger may hurt now, regret and guilt are going to hurt 50x worse later. a grumbly tummy is not worth it. get some motivational phrases, tactics, distractions, that work for you and RELY ON THEM. water, i use mio in mine when i’m desperate, gum, diet soda, bubbly water, reading, tv, ANYTHING. i have other reblogs with some good motivational tactics. i also look at th!nspø as well as pics of my own body multiple times per day to keep me on track. YOU ARE NOT ALWAYS GOING TO BE MOTIVATED SO YOU MUST BE DISCIPLINED. i repeat that to myself 100000 times a day.
8. incorporate foods/drinks that speed up your metab. coffee, green tea, spicy foods (pepper, cayenne pepper), cinnamon, B12 there’s sooo many. and this goes hand in hand with making sure you’re getting your vitamins. picking up a general multivitamin will help make it so your body doesn’t want to cling onto every last cal it’s fed.
9. exercise if you are mentally & physically able to. i have some other limiting factors which make me unable to go to the gym or get as many steps in as id like. an avg day is 2k-5k steps for me rotting on the couch. i PROMISE like 100% money back guarantee (srry bad joke i swear im not a damn ana coach 🙄) your diet is 1,000,000x more important than any exercise you’re going to get in. exercise will help with toning so i try to get some laying ones done on the couch but dude you burn calories just existing. so if you eat lower than that which is 1k-2k (you can look it up it’s your TDEE) you will lose weight. it may be slightly slower than if you walked 20k steps/day or worked out 5 hrs every day but give it time.
literal str8 up proof of this^^^ is my father. he’s a gym junkie like going every morning at 4am (insanity but not my kind), but was eating a lot, and garbage. high carb and sugar intake. and even though he was working out A TON with a lot of steps/day he was gaining fat. he came to me and i told him str8 up to eat less and stop treating his body like a dumpster. eat healthier. homie is shedding lxs.

water was not very good today, BUT, i think i have a couple things that'll help me long term. first thing- READING!!
i've been reading The Poppy War (highly recommended) and at first i was jus using it as smth to read if i had nothing else better to do. but now? i got thru abt 195 pages w basically have no thoughts of food. i was even reading while cycling?? surprising w enough music my mind can take me anywhere lol.
another thing r the elevation bars- i only could eat half before i felt super full 😭 i still do and it's been abt 30 minutes to an hr since i finished snacking on it. i could literally only take super small bites or my stomach would freak ┌[ ◐ ‸ ◐ ]┐i think it has to do w the amount of protein it has since i think it has either 20g or 27g, but either way it was definitely helpful
last thing was drink juice in the morning. now i hate having anything but water in the morning cus i luv a clean omad, but the electrolyte truly did wonders considering today was the first day i didn't go home w a pounding headache. it wasn't even a lot!! jus enough to keep me pushing ig

ACTIVE JANUARY 2025~~~
Hello!! My name is Arlow, and I use whatever pronouns :) I’m 21, and really am uncomfortable with minors, so 18+ ONLY! I am manic-depressive !!! If my tone swings wildly one way or the other just know it’s a silly mood swing. Also autistic, unlabelled gender and sexually queer, and take meds for attention deficiency. I study life sciences and technology for my bachelors, specialising in pharmacy !!
TW ED below the cut, but here are some non-ED fun facts about me before that:
1. I love to read. I have read a lot of classics from the likes of Dostoyevsky, Ursula K. Le Guin, Tolsoy, Kafka, Murakami, but am trying to read more contemporary works. I tend to read shorter stories due to time (think: Tolstoy’s novella, “The Death of Ivan Ilyich” at the longest), but I genuinely try to read longer works.
2. I love fish!! I have fish bowls, fish vases, a fish tattoo, it’s 90% of my diet, and I grew up next to water and was born on an island!
3. I am from 3 countries. I am Filipino, Lebanese, and Nigerian. I love all the cuisines and cultures from each of these countries, and can speak (or at least understand) multiple languages (English, Tagalog, French, Lebanese Arabic, Yoruba, and learning Dutch for university)
4. I am terrified of water. But I love the look of it, the smell and sound of it, and can thread the surface without my hands for well over an hour.
5. My favourite colour is yellow. Despite wearing all-black and being heavily gothic and emo, I love bright, tropical colours, and I am a generally upbeat and energetic person. It used to shock me whenever people younger than me would interact with me in highschool and then say I wasn’t as scary as I looked.
6. I am a good cook, and I love cooking and hosting dinner parties. I love spending all day in the kitchen.
My GW is 47-50 kg depending on how I look and feel. Once I start working out and gaining muscle and weight, I’ll start working in measurements and standardised clothing sizes. I don’t want to be underweight or bonespo, and I’m actually a bit sad my ribs, sternum and chest bones are starting to show. (I do think bonespo is hauntingly gorgeous though)
Eating habits:
> I strictly eat an OMAD with no snacks.
> Eat 3 hours before bed for best calorie utilisation
> Forget about ana!!! Don’t obsess over food and you learn to forget about it.
> Try not to finish the plate. Finishing plates is binging. Eating anything outside of my plate is subhuman.
> All veg is <100cal/100g, usually eat white fish and shrimp due to low cal. Chicken and beef is a rare treat. Pork is disgusting.

Thoughts on OMAD? I love it personally because as long as its not fast food its almost impossible to eat too many calories on it and you get to feel like you had something substantial
I’ve always been more of small meals throughout the day kind of person but yes it definitely seems to work well for a lot of people and is somewhat socially acceptable so you can talk about it with normies unlike a lot of ed stuff. might not be a bad idea though, to do an OMAD at night when my Ritalin wears off

Relapse is RELAPSING.
Today was the first day of school and I’m already getting back to my honeymoon phase.
been fasting for 24+ hours so far, went to football practice, ran around a lot there, then went to the gym tonight and did weights and stuff, and tomorrow before school I’m waking up at 5:30 with my guy bsf to hit the gym and then walk to school. I had my phone down during all the running but I still got almost 12 thousand steps just from walking around campus all day and climbing up and down the stairs a lot.
THE BEST PART is that I haven’t thought about food all day because I have been so busy with sports and back to school. Usually on the first day of fasting I am constantly thinking about eating. I don’t even feel any hunger.
3 workouts in 30 hours and while fasting means I’m burning a ridiculous amount of fat. I can’t wait to see how much I lost.
I have no idea how long I will be able to get away with fasting tho but I made salad which is just spinach and apple and lemon apple cider vinegar dressing, which I pretended to eat tn but actually saved for tomorrow. It’s only 50 cal a serving so I was thinking if I am forced to eat dinner tomorrow I’ll just have that as my OMAD. I don’t want to be super susicous that the salad has been sitting there for days even tho I’d rather fast.
Trust me guys. I was in a position where I thought my life with Ana was over and I wouldn’t do it anymore, but I was so wrong. You just have to be super distracted. Gain control loose weight!

New wl plan
bc I need to lock tf in. I'm not even sure how much I weigh anymore? I think it's around 52.5kg. I was supposed to be 50kg by January 17th 😭
WL RULES: 1. MINIMUM 2l water a day 2. Keep cal intake under 1k 3. Work out minimum 5x/week (3x strength training, 2x cardio) 4. Always walk instead of taking the bus 5. Don't eat at school and skip breakfast when you can 6. Skip dinner! So some days I can do omad I guess? I can skip dinner most days and skip breakfast 1-3 times a week, there are a lot of variables tho

No bc yesterday I kept hitting my hip bones against everything (I work around a lot of counters) and then I binged and couldn’t stop myself (4,000+ cals 😭🔫). I was super bloated and in pain for HOURS but I woke up and my stomach was almost as flat as before? But now my whole belly feels hard and it kind of hurts to press on it. What do I do?
Anywho, moral of the story: have your metab day and eat small meals instead of OMAD if that works better for you. I skipped my metab day because of a previous binge and I’m trying to save cals for Christmas, but here we are again :’)

BTW, I had the oats at 7AM, the carrot and coriander at 4PM, 3 protein bars at 5PM and one at 7PM. Look, a few months ago I wouldn’t have even touched a banana because of the sugar never mind eat breakf*st (omg I was doing OMAD without even realising /j. No, seriously. I’d have a sandwich with 2 Richmond vegan sausages, chili and avocado, and salad. I stopped when I found a piece of chicken in the salad. Didn’t want to order salad from anywhere again. And I’d snack on oatcakes and rice cakes 3-4x a day. That was what I ate. Every day lol. The consequences of being exposed to LPS popular when I was 6-7 and certain internet tags as a young (overweight) teen. Reaping the consequences all these years later. I didn’t realise how bad it got cuz of the caffeine, so when I quit? Yeah, I began noticing a lot of shit. I lost five stone and people think that’s a good thing. Sure, maybe 13’6 to 8’8 is good, but the way I did it??? People tell me I’m healthy in one breath then “you’re so pale. you look sick.” in the next.
BUT THAT’S BESIDES THE POINT.
The point is that, this morning, I was deciding what to have for dinner (at 12PM… normal dinner time.) and I was thinking I could have chickpeas with something. I read the label. “Suitable for vegetarians.” I checked the ingredients list “water, chickpeas.” I stood there, flabbergasted. I picked up a small can of baked beans, my worst enemy, but rich in iron, which I am not exactly sufficient in. Not really healthy, either, but did I care? No. Canned carrots. I think these ones said “suitable for vegans.” Ingredients list. “Carrots, water.” Then I found some peas. “Suitable for vegetarians.” “Peas, water.”
…anyway, I settled on baked beans and carrots. Maybe if I’m feeling spicy I’ll have some green cuisine dippers but those are like 274 cals and the beans are 168 which is like 442 cals��� which, okay, not as bad as I thought but genuinely kinda scary. For a while I’d have FIID meal packs w vegan chicken slices, but those made me BLOAT.
Anyway, what magical ingredient are they putting in this to make it not vegan?? I know it’s probably mislabelled, but I ain’t risking that 😭
“It’s a can of fucking chickpeas,” you say. Well, not mine. Not anymore.

Todays OMAD 1/3/25 + life update

Hello everyone ! I’m sorry that I haven’t been posting much themed diets I’ve been pretty caught up with studying since this is my second semester of college. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this but Im a Computer engineering major and a performing arts major :)
I’m having a lot of fun in my classes this semester but what sucks is that studying makes me feel so hungry and low energy. I’m trying to ease myself back into higher restriction slowly by doing OMAds and eating 1100kcal and slowly lowering my calorie limit 😁

Dinner with Parents
Tw purging
It kind of sucks that still as an almost 30-year-old I have to go about eating with my parents. But anyways, today I had dinner with my parents at Korean bbq. I knew the dinner was coming for the past few days so I was able to limit my calorie and take Monday and Tuesday. And I planned the Korean bbq OMAD for today. I had pre-planned the calories I was going to intake from the amount of meat I consumed and I feel like I stuck to it pretty closely slightly over 800 cal. You might be thinking wow that’s a lot. And yes, it definitely is 800 cal for one meal is pretty crazy crazy however I have explained that my parents are pretty obese and that’s just typically what we all eat every meal so I always plan for more rather than less. However, I was feeling incredibly sick after eating like I legitimately didn’t even need to “purge” but I straight up needed to vomit like actually sick. It was just too much food and one sitting. Unfortunately, afterwards, we had to do a family activity and I was sick and dying the whole entire time, but I was not able to throw up because my parents kept me busy and I wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom. Whether this was intentional or not, I don’t know. But once I got home I actually tried to hold in the food and I did end up getting sick unfortunately but at that point almost nothing came up with stomach acid. What a difficult day.
