Thinking about the arc 3 time skip being somewhere between 7-12 years.

Aaravos will be back in ~7 years. If they go with a time skip over 7 years, that means that the characters will be walking on eggshells every moment after. For years. Every minute knowing he’s capable of being back, he’s somewhere, gathering power and working with Claudia to take down everything they worked so hard for.

I just think that it would be. So interesting to see how it breaks everybody down. How it messes with each character. How it has the capability to bring them right back to where they are in season 7. Ezran ready to resort to violence, Callum ready to do dark magic, Rayla ready to kill.

Or even just something simpler.

Do they all snap at each other over the smallest of things? Do they get into fights easily?

If characters do have kids, how do they deal with that? Are they incredible protective and don’t want them out of their sight? Do they regret their decision to have kids before Aaravos was dealt with?

For 7 years they were able to feel safe-ish, but then those 7 years and 19 days come and go and nothing.

(And honestly I feel like Aaravos would wait a few extra years just to fuck with them)

listen, aaravos is SOOO attentive. he probably has your cycle memorized better than YOU. he's always prepared for when you're on your period, and will approach you about it a few days before it starts

aaravos is amazing when your on your period as he never undermines you, and while he doesn't relate to your experience he definitely sympathizes with you and supports you any way he can

his powers come in handy a lot, and whenever your having bad cramps he can very easily heat up his hands or cool them down and become your own personal heating/cooling pad. he also gives wonderful massages and can also attempt spells/potions that may work as painkillers for you

aaravos is a FANTASTIC cuddler, he's 6,9 ft of pure warmth and loves holding you when you're on your period. if you're feeling emotional or sad in general aaravos is genuinely always willing to comfort you, as he hates seeing you in distress

he may tease you a little to help lighten the mood, but if you get upset or annoyed he'll stop

speaking of when you're annoyed, if you are especially irritable on your period, aaravos takes it surprisingly well. if you snap at him he'll just brush it off or roll his eyes, he knows your feeling shitty and that you'll feel bad later. he might get a little pouty though, and will be clingy when you two are trying to sleep

if you get headaches on your period aaravos is more than willing to accommodate you. he'll gently cup your face, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead before getting a damp towel to lay across your eyes

as much as you want to rot in bed while you're on your period, aaravos will encourage you to be at least a little active. he might take you for calming walks where you won't run into others, or even just slow dance with you in the comfort of your own home while lofty music plays in the background

aaravos will run lavish baths for you om your period with bubbles and fancy soaps and anything your heart desires. he really does love pampering you at heart and will gladly sit at the edge of the tub and wash your hair or massage your scalp while you bathe and relax

during his research on how to help comfort you, aaravos stumbled upon the fact that orgasms can help relieve period cramps. he was quick to bring it up to you, for "research purposes" kinky bitch.

ARIES, THE SEEKER

Information about him:

✧ He's around 6'3 in height (without horns), 6'6 wiith the horns.

✧ Haven't figured out his sexuality yet, but he is very 🌈🌈

✧ He's currently an archivist, scavenging for hidden stories & history of Xadia.

✧ He's not a full star-touched elf, his mother's origin is relatively unknown, except for his father, Aaravos.

(A little clue... There's so much more entities in the Heavens than just the star-touched elves.)

✧ His history with Aaravos is rather... complicated to say the least. While Aries is thankful for being taught magic, he also feels a sense of guilt because, at some degree, he plays a role on the imprisonment of his father.

Warning's: Briefly fighting a dragon I suppose, being wounded.

First of all..how does one get into such a situation. You had a genius idea of going to defeat a dragon with no crew. As you approached the rampaging wyvern wreaking havoc with your weapon it growled out angrily, turning to you with a screech as it charged. You dodge out of the way narrowly, swinging at the large creature, managing to only slash it's leg. The wyvern roars in anger, fwipping around quickly-..It caused you to be wacked by it's long tail. A yelp left you as you fell back, weapon clattering away. As you laid on the ground your eyes started fluttering closed..The last thing you saw was the wyvern being subdued by a soft white and purple spell.

..Hours, days or even weeks later you awoke inside your husbands home. A tall ceiling and glistening appearance, with a soft groan a damp feeling on your cheek. "Starlight, your choice was rather foolish." A smooth, honey-like voice said in your ear.

A hiss left you as ointment was applied to your stinging head. "Wh.." A confused hum left you, only met with a husky chuckle from Aaravos. "You hurt yourself, my dear..seriously. Why attempt to fight a dragon my darling." The startouched elf sighed. with a soft groan you attempted to sit up. "It was..hurting people. I wanted to help..-" You were sharply cut off. "And you were hurt in kind. Stars, your foolish mortal mind is so..utterly, empathetic." He sighed out, caressing your face gently with one hand, dabbing your wound with a damp cloth on the other. "To me you're truly fragile." Aaravos mumbled, kissing your head..then softy tugged at a strand of your hair.

"Use your glorious brain, hm?" He said softly, an affectionate manner taking him over as he cared for your wounds. Flustered as you were doted on, you glance up at him. "Should I have let it happen?.." "Yes." You were answered almost instantly, he looked a bit serious. "You should let me handle such things, my brightest star. Call for me, keep yourself bundled away and safe If I am not there." He fretted ever so slightly, pressing his forehead to yours. "I could never imagine losing you, my dear."

Here's some fluffy little headcannons:

-Aaravos sleeps like a dead person

-he doesn't move or make any sound. You could barely tell he's breathing cause of how still he is

-however, Leola is the exact opposite.

-she always finds herself halfway off the bed in the morning

-sometimes with her blanket all the way across the room or outside

-neither she nor Aaravos know how it gets there and they'll never get to find out

-they are both light sleepers

-Leola will wake up at the slightest disturbance

-Aaravos has adapted to wake up whenever she does

-their rooms are right by each other

-Leola always sneaks into Aaravos's room after a nightmare

-most of the time she doesn't wake him up and just lays beside him

-in the morning he wakes up only to find her sprawled out next to him

-his heart absolutely melts at the sight

HC about Aaravos being a "hair tie dad" where he just. Always had some kind of hair tie on hand in some way or another.

And sometimes he'll still find some of Leola's hairbands in strange places, ~two thousand years later, in the prison. Like pulling back a book he hasn't read in a while and a hair tie falls out of it. So there's a combined heartache along with a confused "how did that get there???"

He finds one of the hair ties from when Leola was a baby and somehow that one manages to only be confusing because it's in an inconceivably odd place. I'm not sure what it is at the moment, but it's only weird because there's at least a chance that Leola had been using a hair tie as a book mark the last time it was touched.

the dimension he was trapped in contained nothing but the sky and a stretch of land. The landscape never changed or ended. Wherever he went, everything always looked the same. The only point of reference was the house, a perfect replica of the house he had lived in with his daughter many years before. And no matter how hard he tried to escape it, all roads always led to this house.

in this dimension, nothing changed, and nothing could be controlled. Always the same time of day, same season, same temperature. No rain, no wind, no snow. No real sun, no real stars.

he was the only living creature there. No birds or other animals. In the centuries he had spent here, he had never seen even the smallest fly. There were only a few plants that seemed to be frozen in time - always the same. They never withered, never lost their leaves, and when he picked one, a new one appeared in its place after some time. Identical one.

the magic in the prison kept him alive. The prison provided everything he needed. A garden with plants from which he could make his own dinner, running water, and access to a fire. Although he wasn't really hungry, sleepy, or cold. But he ate—the same thing over and over again every day; he slept—to stave off boredom; he lit a fire in the fireplace to keep warm—when his mind played tricks on him and he felt as if he were freezing.

every day was practically the same. And he always remained the same as the day he was imprisoned. The same hair, the same clothes... even if he tried to change something, cut his hair or alter his clothes, after a while, everything always returned to its original state. The same as the interior design of the house and its furnishings, which, no matter how much he vented his anger on it, always returned to its previous state.

because the purpose of the prison was to keep him alive, he didn't get sick (because there was nothing to even get sick with) and he couldn't hurt himself. And he tried a lot of things. Every wound, whether it was a paper cut or the fatal wounds he inflicted on himself during those worst moments... everything healed almost immediately. Even the pain was taken away from him.

there was only him. Alone with himself, his intrusive thoughts and his fragile psyche. Alone in a house that he had abandoned long ago, but here it still bore the marks of his old life and Leola's presence. Alone in a house that looked exactly as it had on the day his daughter was taken from him.

the only real difference was the huge mirror hanging on the wall in the room that had once served as his office. A mirror through which he sometimes saw Avizandum watching him, enjoying his suffering. A mirror that always looked at him as if mockingly and reminded him of the fact that on the other side, life went on. Without him.

escaping from prison was a salvation, but at the same time, his greatest punishment.

after centuries spent in an unchanging, constant environment, the collision with the real world was a shock to the body.

he was oversensitive. The outside world was full of stimuli he had forgotten about. The lights were too bright, the sounds too loud, the tastes and smells too intense. The water was too cold, the grass too prickly, the clothes too rough... it was always cold or unbearably hot.

he had become so unaccustomed to the touch of others that after regaining his freedom, physical contact was simply painful. The slightest touch caused his brain to tell his body to react as if he had been bandaged or electrocuted.

his entire body ached. As if he had just taken a spectacular fall from the very top of Storm Spire that even Viren would be proud of. He could feel every bone, every muscle, every tiny cell in his body... and everything radiated with pain so intense it sometimes took his breath away.

the first few weeks after his release were like a fight for survival. Constant migraines, insomnia, stomach problems, general weakness... He was frustratingly weak. He couldn't stand straight, and at times he fought to stay conscious.

magic didn't help. In prison, his magic was significantly limited. And after leaving, it returned with all its power and was as unstable as if he was using it for the first time. Although the muscles remembered how to cast spells, the body received them at least several times more intensely, which was not good in his condition.

he was overwhelmed. And so terribly tired. Weakness and centuries of isolation had caused him to catch all sorts of diseases like a baby in a nursery during the winter.

it was also frustrating that the world had changed... and he had been left behind for 300 years. People spoke dialects and languages ​​he didn't know. They used words he didn't understand. New cities and settlements sprang up. Those he remembered from his youth had long since disappeared. It was still the same world he had left. The same magic he had mastered. And yet everything was so different that he felt like a stranger in the place that had once been his beloved home.

but he had to go on. As much as he could. He had so many things to do. For Leola. And for Claudia.
