The Israeli army mined and completely blew up the Lebanese border village of Mahbib in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army brings the same systematic destruction of civilian areas with which it wreaked havoc in Gaza to Lebanon. 16 Oct 2024

MARCH ON WASHINGTON FOR GAZA
1:00PM Saturday January 13th, 2024 @ The National Mall 1600 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington DC
Please wear a KN-95 mask, and wear layered nondescript clothing and COVER YOUR FACE, HAIR, AND ANY IDENTIFYING FEATURES. I have seen many people use keffiyehs for this. Dress for cold weather but know marching warms you up quickly, so dress in layers you can remove and carry without uncovering your face and hair. Ideally you should bring a backpack to carry food, water, first aid, ID, etc. It may be good to bring multiple or removable parts of your outfit if you plan on walking from your residence or car.
Tumblr media
If you bring a phone, turn off your Face/Touch ID, location services, and data.
Have your emergency contacts written on your body. Don’t record peoples faces. Stick with a group.
Bigotry & hatred will not be tolerated.
Even if you are unable to attend or are not USAmerican, please reblog and repost this to other social medias. You may have a follower or friend who can attend.
If you live within a couple of hours of DC, or even if you live further: talk to your local organizations! It is possible they may be able to organize transportation to this event. Most likely you will have to pay a fee, but it is likely going to be cheaper and safer than driving to DC and parking in their $40-$50/hour parking garages. Also look into Amtrak, Greyhound buses, or other means of transportation.
EDIT: fixed some info, also here is the HD graphic that includes the website

I don't think people realize the number of rockets that have been fired at Israeli civilians daily for the past year: over 23,000!
These rockets were fired from over 5 countries, sometimes simultaneously. Over 150 rockers were fired today alone, and it's only 3PM here. People die almost every day from these rockets, let alone the daily terror attacks. Western & Arabic media outlets simply don't cover most of this.

Middle Eastern kids deserve to wake up to the sounds of birds chirping, not bombs and airstrikes
Middle Eastern kids should be carrying books and flowers, not the dead bodies of their loved ones

ISRAELI AIRSTRIKES TARGET SOUTHERN LEBANON AS OCCUPATION LASHES OUT AT ITS NEIGHBORS
📹 Explosions rock the village of Chehabeya, in southern Lebanon after the Israeli occupation forces targeted the village in a series of airstrikes Saturday night.
Reports also state that the Israeli occupation forces bombed several other towns and villages in southern Lebanon as well, including the towns of Adloun, Shehabiyeh, Bint Jbeil, Adaisseh, Majdal, and Burgliyeh, while Israeli reconnaissance and military aircraft continue to fly over the region.
The Lebanese National News Agency previously reported internationally banned phosphourus shelling by the Zionist army over the forest outside of the town of Markaba, which caused a fire to break out.
The occupation army bombed and shelled the outskirts of the town of Houla and Wadi Al-Dalafa, and also shelled the town of Darsarian.
Additionally, Zionist forces opened fire on cattle herders in the town of Wazzani.

"Israel’s military says it launched several strikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Beirut Tuesday, part of a broader offensive that began in September, killing top commanders, carrying out waves of strikes and sending troops into southern Lebanon, with the stated war goal of allowing displaced Israelis to return to northern areas.
More than 3,000 people have been killed in Lebanon since then, according to a CNN tally. And more than a million Lebanese people have been displaced.
In Gaza, the Israel-Hamas war rages on, with the death toll surpassing 44,200, according the [sic] Palestinian health ministry. Meanwhile, heavy rains in recent days have flooded makeshift camps, where displaced Palestinians are bracing for a harsh winter, according to the UN."

Visualizing 20 Years of Violence in Lebanon: Over 70 Attacks Mapped from 2004 to 2024.
by TreeFruitSpecialist
Over the past two decades, Lebanon has endured more than 70 attacks, from October 2004 to June 2024, targeting politicians, civil leaders, diplomats, shopping centers, cultural sites, and the US embassy. The human toll of these attacks is profound and far-reaching.
I’ve created an interactive map from Wikipedia to visualize the impact of these events. This map highlights the number of casualties and injuries across various regions, with a particular focus on the Beirut and Tripoli metropolitan areas, which witnessed 35 and 8 attacks respectively.
These attacks were fueled by a complex mix of political, sectarian, and regional tensions. Lebanon's internal divisions, militant activities, and external influences have all contributed to the ongoing instability and violence.
This visualization serves as a powerful reminder of the deep scars left on the Lebanese people. Behind each point on the map are lives lost and communities forever changed.

Israeli Airstrikes Devastate Southern Beirut and Baalbek
Israeli Airstrikes Target Southern Beirut A series of intense Israeli airstrikes hit the southern suburbs of Beirut early on Friday, with one strike destroying a building entirely in the Tayouneh area. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of casualties from the attacks. Prior to the airstrikes, the Israeli military issued a warning, asserting that they were targeting “Hezbollah facilities…

Israel pushing for more war and ultimately more deaths is nothing new, no matter how upsetting. I only have one thing to say:
May Israel fall like Nazi Germany, and may the evil that’s taken root in this earth like a cancerous tumour be cleansed once and for all.
