Israel just carried out a large-scale terrorist attack in Lebanon by causing a number of pagers to simultaneously explode across the country, injuring thousands of people.

It's a developing story, but so far eight people, including an eight-year-old girl, have been confirmed murdered in the attack. An additional 3,000 have been injured.

I've seen Western media outlet report on this like its a target attack on Hezbollah fighters, with media figures in my own country using words like 'sophisticated' and 'impressive' in their reporting.

Look at this still from a video capturing one the pagers going off, and tell me what you see:

Does this look like a justified "military target" to you?

We don't know how these pagers were compromised yet, or who were carrying them, but we're starting to get a good idea of where they exploded, and so far, from the videos circulating online, that includes shops, supermarkets, buses, cars, civilian homes and hospitals.

If this had been done by any other country in the region, it would have been called a terrorist attack.

Don't drink the koolaid. While the hundreds of thousands of reservists out of work would and has impacted the economy, it's not solely or even largely responsible for Israel's economy shrinking by 20%

The IDF is withdrawing its reserve forces because it can't defeat the Palestinian resistance just like everybody predicted before the ground invasion.

Israel just released a video claiming every civilian house in Lebanon has a giant missile launcher in it.

No evidence, no proof, just a low grade CGI video. Just like the one they made about a Hamas base under Al Shifa hospital in order to justify its complete obliteration even though it had been debunked time and time again.

They’re justifying killing Lebanese civilians. They’re justifying the deaths of innocent men, women, babies and children.

Israel is a blood thirsty state filled with psychopaths. They will not stop until they’re forced to stop and I will pray everyday that Hezbollah burns that cursed state to the ground. For the sake of humanity.

Israel is a huge threat to the world. It needs to be abolished and wiped off the world map.

As much as I dislike agreeing with the Trump administration on anything, I have absolutely no problem with this.

Brown University is alarmed.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we encourage international students, staff, faculty and scholars — including U.S. visa holders and permanent residents (or ‘green card holders’) — to consider postponing or delaying personal travel outside the United States until more information is available from the U.S. Department of State,” said Russell Carey, Brown’s executive vice president for planning and policy, in a campus-wide email.

Cpt. Amichai Friedman, the rabbi of the Nahal brigade’s military base stated Israel’s intention to not only take Gaza, but Lebanon as well.
