one of my favorite jewish holidays, Rosh Hashanah is this week! This is the jewish new year. It’s always been one of my favorite holidays because it’s during fall, we have the most delicious food, my family gets together, and it’s just a very heartwarming time.

However, during this year especially, i feel it’s imperative to say that i’m also thinking of the Palestinian people who have lost everything during this genocide. Their homes, their family, their lives. They do not get to celebrate there holidays, nor do they have something joyful to look forward to. I am horrified by the Israeli government/IDF and the atrocities they are committing against Palestine. I’m outraged by my own country/government for its complacency and funding. I’m disgusted to see them use jewish people, and jewish history as a shield/excuse for their heinous crimes against innocent lives.

As i always say, never again means never again for EVERYONE. To my palestine friends, thank you for always educating me.
