Saw your tags and YES OFC. I love your art style, and im honored you made the choice to follow me. I was SHOCKED
Thank you!!! I really love the ideas you’re playing with and I’m looking forward to seeing where you take them!
Regarding my own ideas … y’know how I said I’ve already got a number of Four Swords AUs projects to complete and that this would be something to get around to eventually? Well, my brain decided to ignore all of those:
Tumblr media
For those not in the know, demon-nayra shared an awesome idea earlier this week that essentially boils down to Vio, Red, and Blue being directly tied to the Four Sword and being the same characters in both Four Swords games (this is demon-nayra’s original post about it). My brain grabbed the idea with both hands and ran head-first into another AU, which I’m going to call “Goddesses AU”.
In the Goddess AU, Green is Link, Hylia’s chosen hero. Vio, Red, and Blue’s spirits have been tied to the Four Sword by the Golden Three, so when the Four Sword is drawn, they’re released to assist Hylia’s chosen hero. Each of them is tied to one of the Golden Goddesses: Vio to Farore; Red to Din; and Blue to Nayru (I recognise the irony of Blue being tied to the Goddess of Wisdom, but I think it’s really, really funny). Whether they were created by the Goddesses or whether they were regular Hylians once is unknown—all they know is that when they defeat Vaati for good, they’ll be released to live out the rest of their lives like regular Hylians.
Back during FS (as opposed to FSA), they assumed they would be released once this particular adventure was completed, and were making preparations accordingly—Vio was setting up to study and research, while Red got engaged. Blue didn’t have any particular plans, but would have been happy to travel. An amount of their character development happens during this adventure. At the end, however, instead of being released, they were locked back into the Four Sword again.
When FSA occurs, they’ve been locked in the Four Sword for centuries, but for them it’s only been the blink of an eye. They emerge, and at first they mistake the new hero for the previous Green. Then they realise what’s happened. Red especially is deeply distraught—not at anyone in particular, but grieves losing a person he loved and had prepared to spend the rest of his life with. Vio and Blue both get a bit protective of him, in their own ways: Vio tries to distract him, while Blue tries to fend off anyone or anything that might hurt him further (physically AND emotionally) and argues with the Goddesses. The new hero (who gains the name Green) has no idea what’s going on and tries to get everyone to focus on the task at hand.
Idk how much of this I’ll write, but I had a lot of fun redesigning the characters! (Not convinced by Vio though …) Regarding the designs, I drew inspiration from Din and Nayru in the Oracle games for Red and Blue. I really like the parallel of the Goddesses having stand-ins in at least two of the timelines, so using concepts and symbols from Din and Nayru’s designs felt like a good approach. I’m also very tempted to say that Red’s a good dancer and that Blue plays the harp (when nobody is listening, of course).

I often think abt the dock goodbye in season 5 in the episode before the finale. Like when Ed and Oswald got into a fight bc Oswald went to go save Gotham instead of run.
I think abt it bc can you imagine getting into a fight with the ex you reconciled with abt saving the city so when says goodbye and that he’s gonna miss you. So you naturally exchange the same thing because you really were gonna miss him. Only to find out he was actually talking abt the dog he named after you.
The fucking dog. Like Ed fr thought he was confessing his love a second time to get it right this time, only for Oswald to ruin it with a single sentence of clarification.
It’s peak comedy. I miss when TV had funny little fruits.

So I had a thought…
The chain gets sent to Wild’s hyrule for the very time. Like the typical chain meets Wild stuff, but it’s post totk. Not only is it post totk, but the portal doesn’t drop them on the surface, no, it drops them in the depths.
So now you’ve got the chain—minus Wild who they haven’t met just yet—quite literally in the dark about this new hyrule, and they aren’t aware that the depths aren’t all there is to this hyrule because how could they be? So they’re all wondering what in the hell happened there.
Meanwhile, up on the surface, Wild is at lookout landing talking with Josha who heard there was something weird going on in the depths and wants Wild to go check it out. Wild being Wild, she agrees. There’s the thought that maybe the yiga are back to their usual antics of causing trouble, so they may as well go check it out just in case.
…that’s about where my thought ended. I didn’t think too far ahead. I’m basically running on a large iced coffee and a chocolate muffin. Something something the chain meets Wild down in the depths when Wild saves them from gloom hands or a lynel. Cue Wild helping them out of the depths, and then officially joining the chain and whatnot because yeah.

“Pah.” the Scotsman snorted and Gordon thought he was looking at a mirror image of himself, except the ‘mirror’ in question was green, had smoke deflectors and was younger.
This is for a later chapter but I thought it was funny so here you guys go XD
Why does my brain think of the best shit when i can’t right it down? aka in the middle of a f@&king test.

Kraken broadcaster JT Brown shares why Pride is so important to him and why he’ll be celebrating the LGBTQ+ community all month long
June is an exciting month. There’s Stanley Cup final hockey on the TV, the sun is shining down on Seattle, I hit the links on Father’s Day, and it's Pride month—a month dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and commemorating the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. In our house, June is a busy month, but nothing gets celebrated harder than Pride.
Earlier this month, I had the honor of playing in the Seattle Pride Classic at the Kraken Community Iceplex. The invitation to share the ice with LGBTQ+ players from all over is an honor I don’t take lightly. Striking up a conversation on the bench between shifts, I turned to the player next to me. “Nice tape job. Canucks fan?” I said, noting the different colors of tape spiraling down the blade. “No, these colors represent one of the queer flags,” they said.
The bad news is I felt like an idiot. The good news is, I’ll always recognize that flag. Trying means stumbling, losing the puck, shooting wide (pick your analogy), but I’ve never been too proud to admit I caused the turnover and apologize. And we both laughed because sometimes falling on your ass is funny.
From ice to asphalt, the Pride celebration continues as my family and I will be at the 50th annual Seattle Pride Parade on June 30. As someone who is known for their flair for flashy game-day suits, it should not come as a surprise that I love an excuse to get dressed up. Throw in good music and free swag and you’ll understand why I don’t miss a pride parade.
And no one does pride quite like Seattle. It’s no wonder the Kraken pull up to the parade every year with a crew so deep I momentarily worry we’re going to hold up the parade. We’re out there flinging Kraken giveaways like someone is keeping score of how many each employee can hand out—I always aim for the high score.
Of course, being an ally isn't just flinging Kraken patches into a crowd or embarrassingly mistaking flag colors for rival team branding. A lot of it is just showing up.
I show up for my queer wife so she knows I support her even if I still don’t understand what “Brat summer” means. I show up for my kids so they know I love their authentic selves no matter what. I show up for my friends so they know they’re safe with me. I show up because there are LGBTQ+ people out there who are being stood up by the ones they love, by policies, by corporations, by strangers.
People always praise me for being an ally, but having been on the receiving end of bigotry, I know how much easier it is to stand on this side. When I fight for BIPOC equality, I am always lifted by the voices and support of the LGBTQ+ community. Every single time, they have supported me in my fight to help end racism in hockey.
They have been incredible teammates to me and so being one to them was never a choice I made, it was just something I did—and will continue to do with whatever platform I’m given. Everyone deserves the safety and support to live their authentic lives. When we lift up those who need us most, we all reap the benefits of a safer and more inclusive space.
This Pride month, I’d like to encourage others to show up—unabashedly loud and proud—for yourself and for others. Have a happy, safe, and fun Pride!
