But yeah. Oohhff. Imposter syndrome + disabilities... yeah. For lack of better words; "big oohhff."

"But I'm not as disabled as THEY are." Okay but you're still disabled. Counterpoint. *Points to person in wheelchair* "Sure you're not as disabled as they are." *Points to someone else, any random person with a body that functions a normal amount.* "You're also not as abled (/able bodied) as them." Your disability may come in a different flavor and color your life in a different manner. But you are still disabled. And you are still valid.

Not your fault, hopefully you can escape the imposter syndrome and find some ways to take care of your body.

If you go in to get diagnosed, first off always have a list and lots of examples of your symptoms and their severity, and the effects it has and ways it limits your life and functionalities. But also, if you can, arrange it so someone else can drive you, and just, don't do all the things you usually do to try to manage it. You want the doctors to see you in bad shape on a rough day, not in good shape on a smooth day when you seem totally fine. Let them see what it's actually like instead of doing the normal social thing of being as presentable as possible at any given moment.

Also, seek out electrolytes, anything you can get that fits within your budget. My family gets Liquid IV from Sam's club in bulk, it's a little cheaper that way. My sister uses LMNT, and has prescribed salt tablets.

We have a wheelchair, a walker, and I have a cane. I used that cane quite heavily yesterday and today since I was walking around a lot (multiple hours).

Different people have different symptoms and severities, different systems and things they find help

Here I am with the ask!!! I was wondering if I could request headcanons for Adam, Alastor, Lucifer, Vox and Lute with how they would be with a sloth like S/o. I saw someone ask this on a blog I follow and I was stoked, I love this concept so much it's so funny I decided it's my favorite. INSANELY sleepy s/o, they sleep ALL the time and still manage to be super sleepy, they'd be walking down the street? They randomly fall asleep while walking, needless to say that's very dangerous in hell. In heaven a bit less, but let's say falling asleep while flying is definetely dangerous too. They're talking to someone? They might be trying to pay attention but still can't help help falling asleep, characters like Adam and Luci would definetely have no problem with that tho. They are incredibly slow, and also have the sloth tendency to climb(for the tall ones) and cling to said partner and hang onto them like ragdolls. They can stay awake if they replenish the energy they use immediately or by being monitored, but they're very concerning. I imagine warm milk would probably knock them out cold, coffee probably does little to nothing, maybe a huge amount would keep them on the brink of consciousness lol. (Sorry this got long, that's how much I find this concept hilarious, you don't actually have to include all everything I said if you don't wanna I was just rambling)

Although, he probably won’t let you climb him though, due to his dislike of physical touch, but dw he’ll let you cling to him a bit

If you start to daze off while he’s talking he won’t mind, his smile will soften, and he’ll tug you to his chest, talking you to sleep

Lucifer

You guys don’t go out much, so it’s not often you fall asleep on the streets, but if you do, he’ll pick you up bridal style, he won’t make a big fuss about it, at least until you get home

Like Alastor, if you fall asleep mid convo, he won’t mind, he’ll just bring you to his chest and talk you to sleep

Although he is on the shorter side, if you wanna climb him, he’ll certainly let you! He thinks it’s the cutest thing!

Lute

Honestly, Lute hates it when you sleep a lot, as because of her job, she’s busy most of the time and can’t see you, so when she does see you, and you’re asleep, it’s eh…

If you climb on her, she’ll tense up a bit, but she won’t deny it, but there’s a chance she will the first few times. Affection is new to her.

Vox

He’s another tall one, so you could climb on him, but he’s a bit of a twig tbh, so he might not be able to hold you 😭

If you fall asleep during conversation, he’ll be all pissy, but if you fall asleep ON him, bro glitches so bad

Tried to make sure you don’t fall alseep on the streets in the first place, but if you do, bitch is waking you up, ain’t no way he’s carrying you

Something, something, some headcanons about the Ninja team that I have this is in alphabetical order. Part II here!

Cole

• Being the Earth Elemental, he knows several types of rocks, earth and minerals, as each one has a different structure that can interfere and/or contribute to a task/fight.

• Even though he hated dancing for a long time, he still practiced some steps from different dance styles, because some of them were very similar to moves that could be used in battle he did it in secret thought.

• For a long time he always acted a little distant from the other team members, but he was still there to support them if they needed it.

• He's a mama's boy, and he loved seeing Lilly and Lou dancing together.

• It was his grandfather who chose his name. He was bedridden, but he held on until Lilly gave birth to the baby, and when Grandfather saw the little one he cried, because he knew he wouldn't survive to see the child growing up, So, Lilly asked him to name him, as if it were an "I'll always be here" gesture from grandfather to grandson.

• His favorite game is the one where there's a bunch of food falling from the sky and you have to catch it, he's already broken a record 3 times in this game.

Jay

• He's the fastest and most elastic/flexible on the team. This guy's ability to put his thigh behind his head is insane, you DON'T want to be his partner in stretching exercises.

• He knows the Kyusho-Jitsu. This is a technique/type of fight used to stun/paralyze the opponent by striking pressure points (Curiosity, this is the technique that inspired Ty Lee's Chi Blocking technique from ATLA). He uses this on normal criminals, like thieves, assassins, and smuggling gangs, that way they don't get hurt. However, he also use it on Krypytarium criminals, but with the addition of a mild shock to ensure the criminal is rendered unconscious.

• Edna taught him how to cook, so he has the ability to make really good food. Although he prefers to make roasts and stews.

• Jay is a sleepwalker. Not daily, but during really bad lightning storms. Master Wu often found him sleeping on the highest point of the Monastery after the storm. Once, the Ninjas tried to keep him inside the room during the storm. They locked the door and windows and kept watch. But somehow, Jay still managed to get out of the room and get into the storm. No one ever found out how he did this.

• This one I got from Lloyd’s Guide To Surviving The Merge, a lovely fanfiction of @omgjayaaa, I really loved that one He's a medic. He knows how to treat illnesses, injuries, concussions, etc. It started out more as a hobby. Check out medical books from the local library and spend hours reading and applying the teachings on the Monastery's training dummies (sometimes Zane was the victim) just as a "strange diversion" (Kai's words). However, one day, there was a training accident and Cole dislocated his arm, while everyone was worried trying to call the hospital, in an incredible act not to mention strange of calm, Jay grabbed Cole's arm and relocated it back into place, then he borrowed some materials that were in his room and made a sling for the Earth Elemental's arm. No one ever forgot that day, because while Jay was "Just another normal day" the others were staring at him like "What the fuck was that?"

• I also got this from a Ninjago chat fanfic, also from @omgjayaaa He is a natural with children. You can't say otherwise, that this super sensitive and humorous man doesn't have a natural ability to calm/entertain/do anything involving children. And he really enjoys that, being able to make a baby stop crying and go to sleep or helping a child that got lost from the parents. Your honor, this man has everything it takes to be a good father and you're not going to change my mind.

Kai

• He hates super spicy food, being the Fire Elemental doesn't mean his taste buds are pepper/wasabi approved. He just likes a small amount in his food. Ironically, spicy food can kind of serve as fuel for the fire, so the hotter the pepper is, the more heat the fire emanates from it. Although he hates this ability.

• He's not very good at reading/writing, he left school very early to take care of Nya and the Blacksmith, so he lost most of his literacy skills. However, he took some lessons from Wu, so he didn't feel so out of place.

• In fact, his natural hair is like his mother's, but it's as untamable as his father's, which is why he uses so much hair gel. Like, you can't say that wavy and stubborn hair is not hard to care.

• He's that kind of person who sings in the shower, he often forgets that there are people in the Monastery and starts singing so loud that you can hear it from the training yard.

• He and Jay, often in secret, hang out together. Where? Karaoke. Kai sings and Jay plays the guitar, sometimes they change roles Kai prefers to play the bass. It's a lot of fun for both of them, but they don't want to let others find out, because they know none of them, especially Nya, would let it go.

• As much as many people think otherwise, of the RGB siblings, Kai is the most "stable". Not because he wants to, but because he is Nya and Lloyd's support. He feels very embarrassed when the papers change.

• He is super attentive to people close to him, especially Lloyd, who is the youngest on the team. However, now with the addition of Wyldfyre, Sora and Arin in DR, he is as protective as he was with Lloyd.

finding a hobby ‧⁺˚*･༓☾

something really key to improving your self esteem and productivity is getting off of that phone !! but i feel like we all know this, and most of us also know that the best way to get off your phone is to find a hobby. this sounds simple enough, but it might be one of the hardest things i've had to do in my growth journey.

finding a hobby can be really difficult for a multitude of reasons:

there are so many possibilities - if you google 'hobbies', you are hit with hundreds (or even thousands) of ideas. while that's promising at first, as you scroll through these lists it can become quite overwhelming and confusing. after ten minutes of scrolling, you're likely to just lay back down and play on your phone again.

lack of interest - the biggest issue for me was simply a lack of interest in ANYTHING. i would scroll through lists on google, tumblr, whatever and nothing at all would catch my eye. this is probably something to do with instant gratification (i don't know much about it), and is most likely a result of the amount of time i spent on my phone doing a whole lot of nothing. either way, know you are not alone in this feeling!

perfectionism - if you do find something that peaks your interest, that's great! however, i know a lot of us struggle with perfectionism. often this can cause you to give up on the hobby almost as quickly as you started it, because you are not outstanding at it immediately. once again, you will probably end up feeling defeated and resort back to your phone.

it took me a long time to be able to push past these obstacles, but once i did it was so insanely rewarding. here are some of the things that helped me to do so:

hide your phone - so silly, but this truly did help. i put my phone in a drawer, and closed it. with my phone out of sight, i couldn't just pick it up out of habit. this forced me to kind of just sit with my boredom, and eventually i found things to do. (usually ended up being something from the MANY lists i had read)

try anything - i mean ANYTHING, anything at all. pick something that didn't really catch your eye at all and just try it. for example. i tried crochet out of boredom. it turned out that i didn't really enjoy it that much, but now i know how to crochet which is kind of cool. just try as many new things as possible, until something sticks.

change your mindset - shift that perfectionist mindset ASAP. find a way to embrace doing things badly. this is way harder than it sounds, but it is so worth it in all aspects of your life. try things and do them badly. learn to accept your bad attempts at things. these hobbies are for you and your enjoyment only, you do not have to show people. the best thing you can do for yourself is give yourself permission to make mistakes.

i have found many hobbies in the past year, some i am more passionate about than others. these are some of my favourites:

reading: an idea you have probably seen everywhere, but it is genuinely a favourite of mine. don't buy into the idea that you HAVE to read in a pretentious way. for many people, classics and books written in the 1800's are not enjoyable and that is perfectly okay. don't be afraid to read something that might seem silly (e.g fantasy, young adult, even children's novels). there is no point in trying to read something you know you probably won't enjoy.

coding: i got into this by accident if i'm being honest, i just got hooked on it when watching my younger brother do something for his digital technology class. this is something i NEVER would've guessed i would like. if you have access to a laptop or a computer, it is so worth trying. there are thousands of free resources online to teach you, and it is super fun learning to code your own little projects.

dance: something i sometimes do in my spare time is learn dances (specifically k-pop dances). i enjoy a lot of k-pop girl group music, so i find learning the dances really fun (and sometimes challenging). i would totally recommend trying this, k-pop or not, as it also doubles as exercise!

learn a language: you can do this in so many different ways, whether you learn the basics of many languages or you dedicate yourself to fluency in a single language. this is such a cool skill to build, and i honestly just find it really fun.

this is a very brief overview of finding a hobby, but the main point i want you to takeaway is to try anything and everything. ultimately, you will not know whether you enjoy something until you try it. please do not feel discouraged when you don't enjoy the first few things you try, there is something for everyone !

Trans!Leon headcanons

Not enough people talk about trans!Leon in a non-sexual way. It saddens me to see people being so weird and gross about the hc sometimes, so I'm going to add some more regular stuff to the pool ig. This hc makes me so so happy as a trans person myself, and honestly I totally see him being trans regardless of my own identity.

Also if these seem unrealistic for the time period or situation I really don't gaf because there are insane bioweapons that can make tyrants and turn people into huge flesh/eye monsters among other things.

Also CW for transphobia mention/discussion for the Krauser segment of this!

He definitely used to bind using bandages. I could see this happening from a few years before RE2 up to the creation of the DSO after AUPIT. I think he would have switched to using (safe) tape, since it's less visible, you can exercise and shower with it, and you don't have to take it off for several days. so, it's practical for his job; at least a lot more practical than a binder. The tape would also probably be (surprisingly) fairly easy for him to get access to while working for the DSO since, from what I have found from research, if you went to a physical therapist they could give some to you. With the amount of injuries Leon constantly sustains he could probably get a pretty good supply, and I'm sure Hunnigan could help keep it on the dl.

Also, Hunnigan, Claire, Chris, Krauser, the people who had Leon's dossier when they kidnapped him and Sherry definitely know. It's impossible for the people running the DSO not to know, since they keep close tabs on Leon. I like to think he chose to tell Chris, Claire, and Hunnigan because he is close to them.

While, realistically, it would probably be kind of hard for him to get top surgery because of how often he's out in missions, I think he probably got some downtime, again thanks to Hunnigan, and did it. I'm not sure of the logistics of him doing this without the DSO knowing because of the recovery period, but maybe he did it under the guise of a major injury. This would be some time between RE4 and RE6, but I'm not exactly sure how long before RE6 and after RE4 it would be.

Krauser's pretty boy comments are, in the first place, likely homophobic. At that time period it was much more common place to hear it be used against feminine men/men who people suspected of being gay, and I think Krauser also probably used it in a sort of transphobic way as well. Something along the lines of how cis men today use the term femboy against trans people. I still think Krauser had some, at the very least, sexual feelings for Leon, but you can be homophobic and gay yk.

Chris is definitely on Leon's ass about taking care of himself after (and before too but definitely after) Vendetta, and this definitely comes into play with helping remind him that he isn't any less of a man, helping him through his dysphoria, etc. the man wants his boyfriend to be safe, healthy, and happy.

He takes shots because it's the most practical for him. Though it's not super practical, he would definitely be on HRT at some point (be it before RE2 or some time after. I like to think before but it wasn't very accessible then.)

shipping aside, story aside, everything in the world aside...

we can all take an objective step back and acknowledge that not a single thing claire does here is okay, right?

I hate to throw around the word consent willy-nilly -- it's a loaded, emotional word that tends to get loaded, emotional responses, often rightly so.

But it's the best word here, so i'm gonna use it, especially since we're talking about a relationship pushing to be romantic.

what claire shows here is a stunning lack of consideration -- verging into complete disregard -- for consent. carmy does not consent to giving her his number? she gets it from someone else. he doesn't want her to have it? she talks 'playfully' (no, carmy's not worried, prolly b/c his actor is Insanely Jacked, but that doesn't make it okay) about how she'll get people to beat him up and how her feelings are hurt until it's nearly impossible for anyone -- much less someone like carmy, who's rather shy, and who we know was shy back in school, where claire would have known him -- to say "no". once that happens, she pushes for an apology for the crime of wanting to say no to her. and after that, pushes until he says the complete opposite of how things started -- that he wants her to have her number.

and of course, once that's all accomplished, she demands a favor and places a huge amount of pressure (implying that it'd be weird for him to already have plans/say no to her) on him to accept, despite all signs that he's actually busy -- something she knows, since she knows he's currently opening a restaurant.

there are so many things wrong with this. but the easiest way to demonstrate it is to switch the genders and tell it again.

guy runs into girl from his high school at the supermarket, chats for a few minutes, gets her number and finds out it's a fake number. then goes behind her back and gets the correct number, calls to yell at her for giving him a fake number and 'playfully' threatens to have peopel beat her up because of it. once she apologizes, he browbeats her until she says it's more than okay for him to have her number -- that in fact she wants him to have her number. he then makes her repeat it. after that, he says -- to this girl he hasn't seen since high school, where they were not best buddies or anything like that -- that he needs help moving his mom's stuff, and, when she hesitates, tells her not to be weird about it and just do it.

people would be calling for 'his' head. and rightly so.

it's not a "big deal" in that it's clear that claire is not super important for who she is, more for what she represents for the protagonist. this isn't meant to be a sweeping romantic moment, it's meant to demonstrate how carmy represses himself and lies and tries to make others happy -- for a certain value of happy -- especially at his own expense.

but my gosh. every bit of that was wrong. and i don't think claire's gonna top my favorite character list any time soon.

im a taekooker but i rlly have these moments where i think we all must just be deluded (jkkers, tkkers, other shippers etc) bc everyone believes SO strongly that their ship is right and we all feel like we can back it up w “evidence”. jikookers genuinely see something btwn jm and jk and us taekookers genuinely see something between v and jk. i do feel like taekook makes the most sense logically (especially during the solo era) and i feel like i did a lot of research to come to that conclusion (including watching videos on a lot of other pairings like jikook), but i could rlly just have underlying biases that are making me see things between tk that my brain wants to see. to other shippers and fans tkkers r insane, to tkkers others r insane. so honestly aren’t we probably all insane lol ? ik it’s POSSIBLE that tk are together but it just seems so improbable. i often try to talk myself out of taekook bc like rly what r the chances of two members in the biggest band in the word actually secretly dating for like many years ? and they’ve been able to successfully hide it all this time ? and we believe they still are together ? idk it sounds too good/far-fetched to be true and like i can’t imagine a day coming way later on down the line where it would actually be confirmed or like super super obvious even without confirmation. but i can totally imagine a day where it comes out that jk is officially dating some girl or something like that and then we’d all be proven wrong. ik that leans into assuming heterosexuality is the default which is not good and i don’t believe that but i can’t help but to feel like nah we’re all just delusional and fantasizing and tk r not together. i do definitely believe v is queer in some way but maybe that’s all.

Maybe we are all delusional? I certainly thought the taekookers that actually believed taekook were together were delusional when I first started delving deeper into the ship. For a good while I was very resistant to the possibility of them being real. Because that's ridiculous, right? The clearer it became to me that there was actually something going on between taekook, the more and more I tried to deny it. So while confirmation bias is very much real, and I have no doubt that I'm guilty of it at times, it doesn't really apply to my actual belief in taekook because the foundations of that belief are built on a healthy amount of scepticism and doubt. I was looking for ways to disprove taekook, not confirm they were real. Yet here i am 🤷‍♀️

Is the idea of taekook so improbable, though? Wouldn't their situation have made it more likely, in fact? It's pretty obvious that there was an attraction between taekook when they were younger, that is something I'm confident of, and it's pretty easy for close friendship to turn into a romantic relationship when attraction and feelings are involved. Surely there's a higher chance of falling in love with someone when you spend all your time with them? It sounds like the perfect environment for something to develop to me.

In terms of them keeping their relationship a secret all these years, I highly doubt taekook's is the only hidden relationship going on. There's plenty of dating and relationships going on in secret within the industry. Idols have alluded to it many times. People have even got married or had a baby without anyone finding out, so I don't think taekook's situation is that much of a stretch.

You seem kind of bothered by the fact that you have doubts about taekook, but that's completely normal, anon. Realistically speaking, we can't say with 100% certainty that taekook are real, can we? You don't need to come to a concrete decision about taekook. You don't even have to believe in taekook at all. It doesn't have to be black and white. Think of it more like a spectrum. Maybe you're only at 60%. Maybe you'll never be sure about them. There's nothing wrong with that. I truly believe taekook are together but I also leave a little room for the possibility that I'm wrong.

At the end of the day, what everyone else believes is irrelevant. Just focus on what you believe, anon. There's no right or wrong decision. I got Parents AU and Dystopia AU and now I am Concerned

Oh gosh I am also concerned but like... let's see what happens? Also, I am far from an expert on dystopian concepts, as I tend to not enjoy them much in stories. So I make no promises about staying perfectly with the concept.

Following N-Day, when several countries ended up shooting nukes at each other and essentially destroying human civilization as it was previously known, the survivors banded together to prevent the entire eradication of the human race. No one is really sure where the old borders were due to the destruction, along with the massive amounts of tectonic and volcanic activity that was triggered because of all the explosives. It didn't matter, a person was just a person back then.

But things changed within the first century. 'Survival of the fittest' became the thing, as finding medical equipment to care for those dying of radiation poisoning was basically impossible. And for those fortunate enough to not suffer any major physical trauma from the explosions, it seemed a waste to spend their time on those who had. A kind of class system developed around how close you'd been to a blast, with those few who were fully outside of the range of effect being at the top.

Flash forward about 150 years since N-Day (yeah okay I suck at naming things), most of the direct radiation is gone but the society developed from the fallout has become basically a feudal system. Birth defects due to parental radiation poisoning and general sucky living conditions are super common. You got the rich elite on top, living it up, and everyone else stuck under them with no hope of advancing.

Julie, Flynn, and Carrie work together to run a sort of orphanage for kids who have lost their parents/caregivers to the many dangers that face the lower classes. Flynn does a lot of the admin type stuff, Carrie uses her upper class connections to get them funding, and Julie works with the kids themselves. Ideally it's a temporary place for kids until they find a family for them (either by blood or choice), but that isn't always the case unfortunately.

Yes, the rest of the gang is around too. Reggie is a teacher at the local primary school and comes over to the La Rosa (the orphanage) after work a lot to help out the kids(and the grown ups). Luke is officially a delivery person, but he can often be found playing music on a beat up old guitar with anyone who will listen. The kids love him, he's basically the cool uncle. Alex is a weaver, has always been good with his hands. And since his shop/home is right across the street from La Rosa and he doesn't mind a few kiddos hanging around while he works, he's become a sort of godfather to some of the kids that have been there forever. His partner, Willie (yeah the authorities don't like it, but Alex is the best fabric worker in the area so what are they gonna do?) has an insane garden that they care for along with his official work as a cleaner.

Lots of kids move through La Rosa within a year or so, but some have been there for ages. There's Isa, a 12 year old who can go toe to toe with Alex in snark and will deck a bigger kid for the people she cares about, and Damian, a 15 year old who rarely talks and would rather spend time weeding in the garden with Willie than interacting with people. Next is Aiden, who is 10 years old and goes back and forth between acting like he's 20 and 5. Julie is working on not taking on everyone's burdens with him, while Reggie is teaching him to play nice. And then there's little Dizzy, who is 7 and just arrived but has already trashed several things by accident. She says she's clumsy but Julie figured out pretty fast that she's mostly blind. She's working on getting the little girl to trust Luke, cause he's big on seeing the world with all your senses, and often plays guitar with his eyes closed.

It's a hard business though, trying to take care of all of the kids who lose their parents. Most of the people in higher classes would rather the kids either get over their 'issues' and start being productive or get lost. Funding is difficult. And some of the top folks are pushing to shut down organizations like theirs. But the gang is determined to keep taking care of their kids, legal or otherwise.

Cue some creative generation of additional revenue sources. Also lots of soft parenting, trauma management, and just the gang taking care of the kids and each other.

but, i will share that online school helped me an insane amount. it's not the best way to learn, but for autistic people, it is often the most sustainable option

and the phrase: "i'm not that passionate about it but a job is a job" is a statement meant for NTs and NTs only. autistic people have to take round-trips through hell and back constantly just to be near the level of our neurotypical peers, so don't put yourself into a situation that you know will wreck you completely, especially for something that you don't feel that strongly for

having positivity is important, but never let the hope that it will turn out good make you ignore all the very important danger signs that it may turn out very bad

Today is a big ADHD shame day. Either my meds aren't working any more or I've somehow fucked up my life whilst on them. I'm pretty sure they're not working and I have an appointment in just over a month but god today I feel like shit.

I've gained back most of the weight I lost and I'm not in shape any more even though I felt amazing with how consistent I was with exercising. My joints and asthma are shit now again and it's literally my fault. The worst part is I'm not even that overweight but it just doesn't take much for my body to feel the struggle of it. It also sucks because really to be and maintain the weight I felt the best at I'd only need to cut like 200 calories max a day, but I just can't consistently maintain actually logging my food without getting bored, forgetting or realising I'm over so there's no point doing the rest that day. I dont then proceed to overeat after that but I just think eugh its gonna make me feel bad and some days it's unavoidable especially when I have such a small margin for deficit. Because I'm not super overweight, a big deficit isn't reasonable or realistic so I'm not going to start cutting back insane amounts, but weirdly its harder to just lose a smaller amount than it was when I was bigger.

I also feel like I'm bad at friendships and I've had one recently that's devolved because we just have different communication styles, I communicate too much and too often and she communicated less frequently and less consistently and so I always end up annoying her with my hyperactivity and she annoys me when she asks me to be less which is so hard when I have 0 self control skills, especially when my meds are out of action seemingly.

With my other friendships I've always struggled with making myself overly available for people and finding they then rely on that and start only really talking to me to tell me bad news or to complain and they actively disengage when I'm happy or successful at something. And I'm trying to avoid repeating the same patterns but it's hard to push people away when I know I can be there but in doing so I don't notice when its suddenly become all encompassing. I also struggle with friends not living near, not replying to messages cause they also have ADHD, not committing to hang outs which makes me stop trying. I have dreams about friends I've lost touch with because they're otherwise occupied with other friends or other things and I just feel like I fall so far down the priority list for some people that I'd list much higher.

The only reason my spending isn't out of control is because I cleared my debt and closed my credit accounts, if I hadn't I'd have already dipped back into them and I'm having to actively fight myself not to take out new lines of credit just to get dopamine purchases.

I'm just so eughh at the moment, I can't motivate myself to do anything, everything feels like it's either unrewarding work or it's something I shouldn't be engaging in because it's something I'm trying to be better at. So it's like I don't wanna get up and overeat for dopamine, and I don't want to spend money I don't have, but because I don't have any dopamine I also can't get up and do things I need to do. It's driving me fucking insane.

The worst part is knowing exactly what I need to do or should do because its what I've done when my meds work, and just still not doing it because my brain is too dopamine deprived to do something not bad for me that will give me dopamine. And if I do manage it I can't manage it for more than a few days. All I can manage is bed rot. Then I don't spend money or over eat or annoy anyone but I also don't get anything done that might help I'm so mad at myself it's so dumb and its not normally this bad. I am lucky to get an hour out of each of my meds each day, like I take short acting and it's meant to last 4 hours and I'm blessed if each one gives me an hour so I can have 3 useful hours a day, at a push.

She'd spent a fair amount of time volunteering at homeless shelters in New York. It was one of the many ways she'd tried giving back to the city she'd wanted to call her home. "Sounds like you should order less take out." She was guilty of doing the same thing, especially when she felt down on her luck. Which, for the past almost year, seemed more often than not.

"I'll figure it out." She always did. Though, this version of figuring things out seemed a lot more like admitting defeat. If the super wasn't willing to open the door, and the man she'd come to know as Levi wasn't looking to entertain her presence, she'd just sit it out by the doorway and hope that no one asked her to leave. "Thanks."

She lingered more than necessary, but who could blame her? She'd willingly walked into a stranger's place as if there were a hundred reasons to run the other way. He'd seemed nice enough and she could hear him trying to finesse his way into the super's good graces, but it all sounded doubtful. Surprisingly, it didn't cause her any worry.

"Oh, and what kind of ruse would this be? Scorned ex-lover trying to get in so I can take some stuff? Honestly, it's creative, but I probably would have gone another route that didn't involve putting on a stranger's clothes." She was certain that his cologne would remain in her head until the head of time and what she hated the most? How much comfort it seemed to being her. "And how I know this isn't a ruse? Who's to say that the super didn't say yes and you're just trying to keep me here?"

She held the best serious face she could before an eye roll and quiet laugh gave her away. "Tempting, but for the sake of keeping us both out of trouble... I can just... stay here for a little if you really don't mind? Not doubting your shills, but you didn't seem so confident in the avoiding damage part?" It wasn't worth the risk and selfishly, she wasn't ready to leave.

If that made her insane, so be it.

Nadia attempted to ignore the grumbling in her stomach, but the mention of pizza was too much to decline. "Oh, frozen pizza? Someone eats like a king. Sure. I could go for anything right about now." Pausing, she nipped at her bottom lip before she spoke up once more. "Thanks. For... letting me in and giving me clothes and offering food. I really do appreciate it."

The dry response only further pushed that smirk on Levi's face but it wasn't out of arrogance, and thankfully he'd given up long ago on caring what other's thought of him. If he hadn't then the disgraced cop would've been buried. He said nothing else on the matter in not wanting to give off a bad impression to a stranger in this precarious situation. "A walk-in shower, huh?" Amusement clung to his query as blue eyes inconspicuously observed the way the toweled woman took in his sparse dwelling. Aside from there being no boxes it had to look like he'd just moved in. "We're not all that rich," Levi jested, even though he was. This place happened to be comfortable enough.

"Someone probably grabbed it," he confirmed. "It's happened before a couple of times." In a resigned action his thick shoulders shrugged. "There's a homeless guy, Ralph, he watches where DoorDash deliveries go into buildings." The only reason he'd known that much beyond passing him in the lobby once was that security had showed him the footage they'd managed to catch after some complaints. "It used to happen a few times a week." Now, Levi made sure to bring leftovers from The Midnight Club to him or will buy him something from the market once or twice a week.

Now, Levi wasn't all that surprised the woman declined after he mentioned taking responsibility should anything go wrong, but he should have been a bit more clear with her. It wasn't likely there would be damage and his comment had only been precautionary. "You'll what?" Once again a slight smirk rose to the moment but it faded rapidly when he noticed her towel fall just slightly. Instinctively his hand had begun to shoot out to aide her but he reactively maneuvered out of the situation and went off to grab something for her to put on.

"Yeah, I can give him a call. Probably easier." Since he knew him and all. They exchanged his phone for the clothing and Levi watched her take off for his bedroom and found the super's contact as she was shutting the door. He couldn't understand why curiosity plagued at him so much but the former policeman brushed it aside and hit the call button.

When he heard his door open again he turned to glance at her over his shoulder and smiled to himself at how she looked not remotely filling in his clothing with her tiny frame. Moments later, phone still at his ear and still conversing, he had swiveled slowly to be attentive to his guest but instead of returning to him immediately Levi saw her hang her towel in his bathroom. It was odd but comforting to have someone in his living space and also move around with ease, like it was normal to be there.

Maybe he really was missing connection and comfort that companionship could offer.

By the time she came back into the room Levi was shoving his phone back into his pocket. "So... the super isn't going to let us in. Since I didn't know your friend's name..." Rookie mistake to not ask the woman in need that basic information before he called, Levi winced just a little. "Me living right across the hall isn't good enough. Which, I'm glad he actually reacted this way. And truthfully this could be a ruse on your part," he winked, "you're free to chill and wait here until your friend comes home, or..."

He was going to make the offer she'd already declined.

"I could bypass the locks if you want. I, uhh," this was an admission he'd never made before to anyone since he'd left Boston, and the words tripped up on the way out, "I used to be a policeman. I could get the door open with likely no damage but yeah," he cleared his throat, "it's always possible." And despite having said so before about her being responsible he'd pay for any repairs if they were needed.

"I've got frozen pizza if you're hungry."

He isn't used to being fawned over in this manner, and honestly finds all the attention to be a bit embarrassing (in a good way!). That doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate it, he just gets rather flustered if you compliment him more than like twice in a short time

Has no issues with you riding around in his alt mode, and even volunteers to drive you places if he's got the time

The first time you fell asleep in his alt mode he was worried something had happened to you and he hadn't noticed. After being woken up by his voice asking if you were okay, he was taken aback when you said you had fallen asleep because you found his seats to be so comfortable

He'll ask if you've been getting enough sleep, and then apologize for waking you up

Having you fall asleep on him when he was in bot mode was quite a shock! He didn't think metal plating would be comfortable enough to sleep on, but here you were anyways

Afterwards you explain that he's just so warm and you trust him to keep you from falling. He really isn't used to being seen as somebody safe enough to fall asleep on; he's a wrecker and an all around big bot, but he's touched that you consider him someone you can sleep around

Will happily listen to you talk about cars even if he doesn't really understand what you're talking about. He's got a few questions, but mostly he's content to listen and absorb information

The first time you tell him how cool you find his alt mode to be, he tells you to go hang out at the hospital

Honestly tunes out your rambling at the start, choosing to focus on his work than whatever it is you're saying. He grows fond of your voice over time, though, and finds a balance between work and listening

Though he'd never say it out loud, he finds the sheer amount of trivia you know about vehicles to be rather endearing

Any questions you have about Cybertronian alt modes and vehicles he's willing to answer, even pulling up diagrams and old texts to support his 'lessons'

You don't often get to see his alt mode, but when you do he can't help but feel a bit flustered at the level of excitement you show

It's even more rare that he'll offer a ride, only having done so a few times in the span of your relationship. If he sees that you're particularly upset about something, he'll ask if you want to go for a drive, claiming he needs a break from work

If he's in an especially good mood he might even offer to drive with the sirens on

He isn't too surprised the first time you fall asleep in his alt mode; it's an ambulance and the seats are surprisingly plush. If there aren't any pressing matters to attend to, he's content driving around for a while until you wake up on your own

He's still gonna chastise you for not getting enough rest, even if you have been. There's nothing wrong with napping, he says, just don't make a habit of it

Ratchet's been the one to pick you up a few times, and each time he can't help the affectionately lighthearted sigh at your obvious glee as you run over to him

He LOVES gaming and has shared on multiple occasions how he spends his free time gaming and how he can do it for hours and how he can get really competitive about it and not want to stop until he beats it or is insanely good at it. He used to post clips of him playing overwatch. They've shared that he used to game often at the dorms with Tae or with Jin. Tae shared a story once from an old clip where you could hear him playing League with JK, Yoongi, Jin and Hobi (those being the members who spoke into the mic at least). Staying up all night to play a game, not off brand for him. Especially also considering all the armys who are busy IRL and have full time jobs who are over level 100 in the game too. PLUS considering that JK has lots of disposable income to spare to get extra hearts, blue diamonds things and anything extra he can buy to help him level up faster and spend less time waiting for things to load etc. That's gonna speed up his game time too. Examples of JK talking about gaming:

AND I don't think having army visit his island or join a club is just a marketing strategy. It's just legit JK loving spending time with ARMY. It's super on brand for him to carve out time to spend with fans. He spent hours doing Instagram Q&As in the middle of the night, not just during quarantine, but also after a performance when they still had schedules the next day too. He spent HOURS in the middle of the night on vlives with army and singing to us, on days he has to wake up for work the next day too. He spent HOURS talking until the middle of the night, just to then go and hop on a bus to go film ITS. He used to join fancafe group chats with ARMYS. In 2018 he held weekly fancafe dates with army every single Friday for a long time. Where he would create a group chat and the first X amount of people who could guess what the password was could join his GC and he would sit in there and chat with the armys for 15 to 30 minutes every single week. And in 2018 they were so booked snd busy it was insane. But he still made time to hang out with army AND still made time to work on GCFs and his own music AND go work out AND some off time gaming. You don't have to be jobless to spend a few hours playing a mobile game before you go to bed, or while you are eating your meals, or while being driven somewhere. So I guess, I DO think it's JK. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be. And I don't think it's out of character at all for him to be doing this either. And I don't think Hybe has to worry too much about marketing it. The game was doing just fine before JK shared anything on his story about his island and his club. So I wanna do my own little Prapaisky confession.

I have been with my partner for 5 years but we've only just moved in together 6 months ago. When we began to see each other everyday they became distant and less affectionate. When we would only see each other once a week they would be super sweet and affectionate but it changed once they saw me everyday. I didn't really notice at first because I get distracted easily and when I did notice I would think I'm just overreacting. But then.... Lita episode 10 came out (I got into Lita at ep 9)

My main coping mechanism is escapism so you bet when I watched episode 10 it was like my final push to realize that I wasn't happy in this weird place my relationship was in. I have rewatched that episode 20 times by now and now whenever I feel neglected I watch it. It encouraged to sit my partner down and show them this episode because this episode reminded me how I want to be treated (I relate to Sky a lot because I also went through my own trauma). I am a super affectionate person. It is my main love language and I love cuddles and kisses so much.

I just want to be taken care of like everyone else and now I often daydream of Prapai taking care of me. It's because of episode 10 Lita became my newest ADHD hyperfixation but it was supremely intense. Like I haven't had a hyperfixation this intense since high school.
