The best CrossFit in Los Alamitos! We are all about family and community! Anyone can come work out here, old, young, strong, weak!! Just come get healthy! I bet you’ve seen the CrossFit Games on ESPN. Ever said to yourself, “No way, I can’t do that!” Don’t worry we have said the same thing! CrossFit training and workouts can be for everyone at every level, we promise. Our oldest member is 78 and our youngest is 7. Each is on their own program with their own goals. One wants to be able to get up off the floor if they fall, and the other is learning how their body moves and what they are capable of. Our workouts are 100% scalable and we start you off very slow and simple with just your body weight. No one will let you throw a heavy load over your head and try to squat it until you have been training and WE think you are ready.
Most of our members just want to stay fit and are tired of the 24-hour workout by themselves. Together in a class, we push each other to give it all you got! Regardless of age or athletic ability, we can all work together just at different levels. Some of us have completed and we love it, others will never step foot on a competition floor and we are OK with that too! Your body, your goal. Plain and simple. Don’t let the fear of injuries or building too much muscle hold you back from coming in to try a class. The first class is free, come see what amazing things we can offer you and your life!

Day 5 of 5 day workout week:
Happy Friday! 🥳 We finally made it! I got to bed by 11 pm and got 7 hours of sleep! I was pretty proud of that too! The big challenge though? Can I keep it going through the weekend?! This has been my problem all along! I stay up watching Dateline (I know! I’m SUCH a party animal! 😂) and the next thing I know, it’s 1 am! I’m determined to do better this time! 😤
-Today was filled with distractions, but I still managed to get my workout in! I was short on time, so I went with my trusty HIIT circuit. Equipment was prevalent: 10-15 lb dumbbells, 12 lb kettlebell, 2 lb weighted jump-rope, wrist weights, and an aerobic step with single risers for the cardio segments. Set up was the same: lower body, followed by upper body, followed by a cardio interval. The cardio intervals were double the duration. All in all, a fun time! And, a nice calorie burn to boot!
Bonus: I like to use my pushups as an upper body interval in the circuit. I found a little contraption online that helped me with wrist pain! I was skeptical but, I liked it! I’ll share more on that later if I continue to find it helpful. I got in 35 pushups! So far, pain free! 👊🏽
My deep squat challenge was worked on after the workout when my muscles were the warmest. I’m really getting into it!
That’s 5 of 5! 🖐🏽 I’m feeling good! I feel accomplished! I’m…exhausted! 😂 I’m so ready for my precious rest days. Enjoy your weekend!

Day 5 of 5 day workout week:
It’s Friday! 🙌🏽 I am hella tired! But, also in a very good mood! It’s the last workout of the week for me and I am SO ready for some rest and recovery. Perhaps even a date night! 🥰 I definitely feel like I deserve it! As I am winding down my duo 30-challenges, I’m feeling a difference in my strength and in my clothes! I am so very encouraged to keep it going! I’m adding a much needed sleep challenge for myself in October. I’m also keeping an eye open for cardio and lower body challenges I may see in the Fitblr! I’m always striving for balance. 😌
-Today’s workout(s) started earlier than planned as I was again accosted by my boxer-beagle, who decided he needed an impromptu training session. For a while, I was walking him everyday! But, my allergies have been an issue, lately. Today, allergies be damn, he got a jog in! Well, more of a sniff, jog, inspect, pull, walk…but it was a good warmup all the same! 🐾
-Now, Mom’s turn! I went back to my circuit today! It really does work everything. Again my intervals are one round lower body, followed by upper body, followed by cardio. Then repeat. I used dumbbells, resistance bands, weight bench, ankle weights (pictured above) and a step platform (for elevated lunges).
Total calorie burn = 427 kcals 🐶
Bonus: I did a burpee round w/squat jumps for 16! And a pushups round for 35! Progress! And less soreness in my upper body today. Day 27👉🏽🗑️
