And yes, I do plan on continuing it! It was giving me some trouble in deciding what direction I want it to go and whose POV i want to focus most, but I think I finally found a direction! I struggle to write anything that is meant to be kinda pointless/ just for fun, so I usually use these AU’s to explore a specific concept, and since I didn’t know if I wanted this to lean more on a funny casual side, or more towards a suspense, almost horror vibe, it really made me fight for it lol

But I got it!! I think!!!! Here, have some Endless Abyss doodles!!!!

Im highly considering making this a proper fanfic and posting it on Ao3, but I think I would first write it all down and then post the chapters weekly or so, just so I can limit myself and don’t spend another year writing it every 2-3 months like I’m doing my current fanfic Locked & Loaded (which I’m not abandoning!!!! If I’m finishing any fanfics it’s that one!!!! I just take my time with it)

And just because I need everyone to understand just how much trouble this AU is giving me, here is a collection of the first 3 failed attempts to plan out the story (blurred because I’m still going to use a few things here and there)

And She Keeps Getting Faster...

So I recorded this one a few weeks ago but haven't felt very connected to my little lady recently. Finally drew the motivation to edit this gem. I thought we hit 197,beating the last record by 1.. but a look back over the Pulseoid (which I sometimes will stream her rate to a couple of people) shows she's maxed out at 198.

198!! that's 3.3 beats a second! 3 1/3 strong contractions pushing blood to the rest of my body where needed from the sprint she just endured.

Listen to her strong pounding and my lungs gasping for precious oxygen as they work in tandem to deal with the stress I have given them and listen to when they both come together and recover beautifully.

I tried just after this to get her to go over 200 but she was too tired and didn't make it past the 180's. When I get to editing that I will post it too.

I feel like Hair holds a lot of meaning within Glara culture so imagine:

Keith and Pidge are helping each other with their hair since both of them have the longest hair out of group minus Allura. At some point Lance decides he want to help and magically convince that the group of them (keith lance pidge and they get hunk) to do a hair mask. So you see the group of them helping each other do each hair. Then Keith mom walks in and see this. She now thinks her son has an assortments secret he’s hiding from her about his relationship with the other.

Krolia with, "HOW MANY OF YOUR TEAMMATES ARE YOU COURTING?!?!!?" Chief (Keith's dad, whom I keep alive in AUs) might need to take Krolia aside and help teach her that this might not be courting, Earthlings are just social, especially with cosmetics and grooming. He points out that it's normal for friends and family to do this. It's one hell of a cultural different for Krolia. But she probably tries and succeeds in embracing it, eventually joining and letting Lance work with her hair. Which yeah. Lance totally would know about working with hair. Dude's got cousins, sisters, aunts, I have no doubt he comes from a really big family and family gatherings probably had like fifteen siblings and cousins sitting around, doing hair and skin care and just vibing and catching up. Krolia sees this side of that? She might try to adopt it into the Blade of Marmora for bonding exercises. Gotta keep the team close.

the fact that my flare ups are very tied to my mental health, ie as soon as i'm a bit too stressed i immediately lose my mobility, drives me insane.

can't walk cause too much stress, but not being able to walk causes me stress, which in turn causes me to not be able to walk, which makes me stressed, which makes me unable to walk, which makes me stressed, ..........

The Fastest She Ever Did Beat..

After the breath play that had her in the low 40s earlier today...I thought that it might be a good idea encourage her to beat a bit faster... 155 beats to be exact. If you don't like breathing noises I would recommend giving this one a miss.

We've all heard how my little heart used to react to exercise. Well I've been treating her kindly and now she's a bit more used to it...Today we warmed up and did a bit of recovery run.. she climbed but was fairly well behaved. I was feeling fine... so I slowly increased the speed and until she broke the 190s. I was feeling it and knew if I did a last min sprint I could get her over the 192 which was the highest I had recorded. Speed up slightly, incline to 3... this was enough to push her to 196! The highest I had ever seen her beat.

What you are hearing is the 5 min recovery afterwards. I really struggled with this one. You can tell that even up the end I was struggling to control my breathing. But my little girl pounded strongly, exceeding all expectations and hearing her recover reminds me why I love her and other hearts.
