You know, people love to slap labels on me. Circus kid, Boy Wonder, Batman’s ex-sidekick, Nightwing—take your pick. I mean, technically, they’re all true, but none of them really sum it up. It’s like calling Bruce “just a guy with a car.” Sure, it’s accurate, but it doesn’t exactly cover the whole picture.

For starters, yeah, I grew up in a circus. The Flying Graysons. If you’ve never heard of us, I don’t know what to tell you—maybe get out more? We were kind of a big deal. Swinging through the air, defying gravity, making people gasp—it wasn’t just a job; it was life. Turns out, being raised in a traveling circus full of questionable characters prepares you really well for crime-fighting. Who knew? Acrobatics, showmanship, knowing when someone’s about to try and stab you? Basic skills, honestly.

And then there’s the whole “Robin” chapter. Or saga, really. Look, I’m not going to sugarcoat it—working with Batman was... an adjustment. One minute, I’m living on the road with my family, and the next, I’m fighting psychos in Gotham’s alleys with a guy who growls more than he talks. Bruce isn’t exactly what you’d call emotionally available, but the man knows how to get stuff done. Say what you want about his personality (or lack thereof), but he’s good at what he does. Did I enjoy getting lectured about justice while dodging bullets? Not exactly. Did I learn a lot? Definitely.

But here’s the thing about being a sidekick: eventually, you have to stop being one. I’m not saying it was easy breaking away from Bruce—because, wow, it wasn’t—but I needed to figure out who I was without him. Enter Nightwing. New name, new suit, same sarcastic attitude. I ended up in Blüdhaven, a city that makes Gotham look like it’s trying too hard. It’s grimy, it’s messy, and it’s mine.

So, who am I now? Depends on the day. Sometimes I’m Dick Grayson, the guy who drinks too much coffee and still doesn’t know how to fold fitted sheets. Sometimes I’m Nightwing, the guy who flips off rooftops and pretends he’s got it all together. Most of the time, I’m just trying to survive the chaos and not fall on my face. You know, the usual.

I beg of you all to think about the fact that Bruce Wayne probably had to go buy Batman merch.

It’s cannon that Dick Grayson collects Batman mugs so I would imagine he probably collects like shirts/stickers/ect too, and he pretty much hated Batman from 18-20 so I doubt this was a habit he picked up as an adult

So I want all of you to imagine Bruce having to go out and get like 10 year old Dick Batman merch, just to get him to stop asking for it

People complain about how horrible Gotham is all the time (which is only okay if you’re from Gotham,) and about the crime rates and the rouges and Batman and all

But let’s think about it, it could be way worse. All of this could be happening in Florida instead of New Jersey.

Situation where Clark has formed a tentative working relationship with Batman, but somewhere in that time, Batman acquired Robin and, naturally, didn't tell him.

Clark finds out about Robin's existence when a ten year old Dick Grayson in full Robin gear breaks into his apartment at two in the morning and shakes him awake because Batman's missing and Alfred's away and Bruce taught him that, in the case of emergency, Superman was one of the only people he could trust. Bruce just didn't think to tell Clark that he was, by all means, his son's emergency contact.

Clark: -wakes up to a small boy that he's never seen or heard of before in a cape and a mask with lenses that reflect light like a cat's perched on the edge of his bed in a pitch black room-

Dick, calmly: Hey, Batman's -- stop screaming -- Batman's missing. I need help.

I bet the criminals in Gotham city freak the fuck out when the Batman shows up without Robin.

Because, yeah, you’re going to get the shit kicked out of you either way—but when the kids’ around, Batman’s more… merciful. He’ll knock you out instead of breaking both your arms. He’ll round-house you but not stab you in the gut with a bat-a-rang. There’s less blood and gore, like Batman’s trying to spare the kiddo from the more unsavory aspects of vigilantism.

I bet when the goons see Robin, they breathe a sigh of relief. Cause Batman’s gonna fuck ‘em, but he isn’t going to fucking annihilate them—not in front of his kid.

but have you SEEEN an eight year old? imagine a full on 3 ft 11 child in a felt costume running around. like not “oh he’s eight” but then robin is built like a full ass teenager. no, none of that. imagine an EIGHT YEAR OLD standing above a crime scene, with chubby cheeks and all going-

“holy homicide batman! looks like whoever did the devilish dead really had it out for this guy!”

It's my birthday, I'm gonna party like it's my birthday 🗣️🎵🔥🔥🔥🔥‼️ Well, my birthday is the 4, but, yk, I'm too impatient to not post this, and I'll be busy tomorrow so YEAH, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY.

Fake love tringle

Phantom needs to work with the teen titans when they are a newer group.

Danny is a Starfire fan and fanboys a little when they meet. Robin (dick Grayson) does not Realize it is fanboying and thinks it's flirting. There's a little antagonism and a fight which is later resolved in private.

The three of them get along very well but it becomes an inside joke for Danny to say a pickup line to Starfire and Dick to pretend to be angry. the three of them forget to mention to the rest of the team that it is a joke. it becomes a rumor that the three of them are in a love triangle.

The three of them end up getting together and staying together for about a year before one Vlad's plot goes sideways, ending up with Danny taking the throne to the ghost Zone. Danny tells the two of them that he doesn't know when he's going to be back, as things are getting a little bit hectic and the three of them have a goodbye.

One of the side effects of Vlad's plot other than Danny taking the throne is to destabilized Dan and Dani. The two of them nor Danny realizes that they're goodbye is going to result in Dan and Dani being all three of theirs biologically.

Danny later comes back a few years later. Dick and Kori are still together And when they see each other again they do their inside joke. Everyone is now under the impression that the love triangle is going to start up again.

A video is uploaded where it starts from a clip saying " I'm not/Batman's not nobody's house wife" and it cuts to Robin telling someone offscreen to " make me sandwich!" , the camera turns around to some huge muscular hands making an overly-exgravegant sandwich with "the feels" from twice sped up playing in the bg. In the end the music cuts and Robin is seen happily eating the sandwich while swinging his legs and says 'thanks dad' as the muscular hand (in a spiked gauntlet now) pats his head. The video is 30 seconds long

The video goes viral.
