Ingredients: 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed. 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed. 1 can 15 oz navy beans, drained and rinsed. 1 can 15 oz pinto beans, drained and rinsed. 1/2 cup diced onion. 1/2 cup diced bell pepper. 1 cup tomato sauce. 1/2 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup molasses. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and black pepper to taste. Optional toppings: sliced green onions, cooked and crumbled bacon.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Black beans, kidney beans, navy beans, pinto beans, diced onion, and diced bell pepper should all be combined in a big mixing bowl. Mix the tomato sauce, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a different bowl. After adding the sauce to the bean mixture, stir everything together thoroughly. Spread the bean mixture evenly in a baking dish after transferring it there. Bake the beans for 40 to 45 minutes, or until they are bubbly and hot, in a preheated oven. Before serving, sprinkle cooked, crumbled bacon and sliced green onions over the baked beans, if desired. Instructions: Rinse the navy beans and soak them overnight in water. Preheat the oven to 325F 163C. In a large pot, combine the soaked beans, chopped onion, molasses, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, water, and bay leaf. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Transfer the bean mixture to a baking dish and cover it with a lid or aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 hours or until the beans are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove the bay leaf and serve the baked beans hot.
