Just had a thought

Tango getting really nervous and asking grian way too many questions about avian culture and Grian knowing exactly what's going on, and specifically explaining 'it differs between specific species' and using canaries as his example for 'other species' because he knows Tango's trying to ask Jimmy out

Tango is oblivious.

Tango's really just grateful that Grian is being so thorough. He's giving him all the information he needs, and Tango hasn't had to say why! And with his one-track focus, he doesn't think about why Grian is being so specific! He's just happy Grian is.

He has no idea why Grian isn't surprised to find out Tango and Jimmy are going on a date. He thought he'd be more excited! Jeez, maybe he should take back that thank you gift basket.

Ranchers, Flower Husbands, and Smalldarity have all been taken out of the running for basically landslide winning 1st-3rd last time, making them not rarepairs (Smallidarity is a rarepair in terms of fandom popularity, but not really in terms of Jimmy ships [it had a whole 9% lead over fwhimmy last time])
