Retrograde Planets in your Birth Chart
Tumblr media
In Vedic astrology, retrograde planets in a natal chart carry deep significance and unique implications. A planet is deemed retrograde when it appears to move backward in the sky from Earth's perspective. This apparent reversal can alter the planet's energy, leading it to express itself differently than it would when moving direct. Retrograde planets often highlight areas in our lives where we have unresolved issues from past lives or where we need to focus more intently in this life. Understanding the benefits and challenges of retrograde planets can offer profound insights into your life's journey.
Mercury
Having Mercury retrograde in your birth chart means you process information and communicate in a unique way. You possess deep insights, particularly when it comes to introspection and understanding complex ideas. This can lead to innovative solutions and profound personal insights. However, communication can sometimes be tricky. You might find that others misunderstand you or that you have to work harder to express your thoughts clearly. Issues with technology or travel plans may also arise more frequently. To manage this, practice mindfulness and patience in your communication. Double-check important messages and take your time to articulate your thoughts. You can also calm your mind with Brahmi oil massages, an Ayurvedic practice that enhances clarity and cognitive function.
Venus
With Venus retrograde in your birth chart, you have a deep understanding of what you truly value in relationships and personal finances. This can lead to a stronger sense of self-worth and more meaningful connections. Your approach to beauty and aesthetics is unique and deeply personal. However, you might experience challenges in love and financial stability, feeling strain in relationships or difficulties with self-esteem. Focusing on self-love and healing past relationship wounds can be beneficial. Use Ayurvedic rose oil for self-massage to open your heart chakra and promote self-love, helping you attract healthier relationships and financial stability.
Mars
Mars retrograde in your natal chart endows you with inner strength and resilience. You can be strategic and thoughtful about how you use your energy and pursue your goals, making you a powerful force when you decide to act. However, there might be a sense of frustration or impatience, as it can feel like your efforts are often delayed or blocked. Channeling your energy into long-term projects and practicing patience can help. Regular physical activity, like yoga or Ayurveda-recommended exercises, can manage frustration and keep your energy balanced. Incorporating Ashwagandha supplements into your routine can also reduce stress and boost vitality.
Jupiter
Having Jupiter retrograde in your birth chart gives you a profound capacity for inner growth and spiritual wisdom. You’re likely to develop a strong set of beliefs and philosophies that guide you throughout life, making you wise beyond your years. However, external growth might feel slow, and opportunities for expansion could be limited, requiring you to work harder for your achievements. Focus on your inner journey and trust that external success will follow. Including turmeric in your diet promotes overall health and well-being, supporting both physical and spiritual growth.
Saturn
Saturn retrograde in your natal chart means you have a deep understanding of responsibility and discipline. This can help you build strong foundations in your life and deal with karma and past life issues effectively. However, you might feel increased pressure to revisit old fears and insecurities, and responsibilities could feel more burdensome. Embrace the opportunity to strengthen your foundations. Practice grounding techniques, like walking barefoot on grass, and use Ayurvedic grounding oils like sandalwood to help you stay balanced and focused.
Retrograde planets in your natal chart bring both challenges and unique strengths. Embrace the lessons they offer, and use these insights to grow and transform. By incorporating Ayurvedic practices, you can balance these energies and navigate their influences with greater ease. Remember, each retrograde planet offers an opportunity for profound personal growth and a deeper understanding of your life’s journey.

The Secrets of the Void: Entering the Ultimate Psychic State
Tumblr media
Introduction: The Void is a profound state of consciousness where the mind transcends ordinary reality, offering deep psychic insights and spiritual experiences. Tapping into the Void can amplify your intuitive abilities and connect you with higher realms.
How to Enter the Void:
Prepare your space by choosing a quiet, comfortable location where you won’t be disturbed. Start by meditating deeply, focusing on your breath, and slowly clearing your mind of all thoughts. Visualize yourself floating in a vast, dark space, where nothing exists but you. Surrender fully to the emptiness, letting go of all expectations and concerns.
Practice deep, slow breathing to calm your nervous system and help you enter a state of deep relaxation. Light candles or incense to create a serene atmosphere, enhancing your focus on entering the Void. Use calming music or binaural beats designed to help reach altered states of consciousness. Try grounding yourself first by imagining roots growing from your body into the Earth, anchoring you in the present moment.
Adopt a comfortable posture, either sitting or lying down, that allows you to remain still for an extended period. Keep your eyes closed to reduce external stimuli and enhance your inward focus. Set a clear intention before you begin, asking for guidance or clarity during your journey into the Void. Practice mindfulness, bringing your awareness fully into the present moment, letting go of past and future thoughts.
Repeat a mantra or affirmation that helps you detach from your everyday thoughts and enter a deeper state. Focus on the space between your thoughts, allowing the silence to expand. Imagine yourself dissolving into the darkness, becoming one with the Void. Let go of the need to control your experience, allowing whatever arises to do so naturally.
Use visualization techniques to see the Void as a gateway to deeper understanding and insight. Imagine a doorway or portal in your mind’s eye that leads directly into the Void. Focus on your third eye, the center of your forehead, as a way to enhance your psychic awareness. Release all tension in your body, letting it melt away as you sink deeper into relaxation.
Practice yoga or gentle stretching beforehand to prepare your body for stillness. Keep a journal nearby to record any insights or experiences that come to you after your session. Set a timer to avoid checking the time, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience. Consider fasting or eating lightly before your session to enhance mental clarity.
Focus on your breath, counting each inhale and exhale to help quiet the mind. Use crystals like amethyst or clear quartz to enhance your connection to the Void. Practice regularly, as entering the Void becomes easier with time and experience. Start with short sessions, gradually increasing the time spent in meditation.
Visualize yourself surrounded by a protective light, ensuring your journey into the Void is safe. Allow yourself to drift off if you feel sleepy; sometimes, the Void can be accessed in the space between wakefulness and sleep. Use essential oils like lavender or sandalwood to help calm the mind and body. Focus on the feeling of weightlessness, as if you’re floating in the vastness of space.
Clear your mind of all distractions, both internal and external, before you begin. Listen to your intuition, following any guidance or impressions you receive during your journey. Stay patient and persistent, as entering the Void can take practice and dedication. Consider using a guided meditation specifically designed to help you reach the Void.
Trust the process, even if your experience is subtle or different from what you expected. Be open to whatever messages or insights come to you, even if they seem unrelated at first. Allow yourself to feel the vastness and silence of the Void, embracing the stillness. Reflect on your experience afterward, noting any shifts in your awareness or understanding.
Practice detachment, letting go of any need for a specific outcome or experience. Keep your mind open, allowing the Void to reveal itself to you in its own time. Approach each session with a sense of curiosity and wonder, exploring the unknown depths of your consciousness.

The Realities of Leading a Soft Girl Lifestyle.
(no luxury materials, riches, or social status needed)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The concept of leading a "soft life" has gained immense popularity on social media. From the emergence of the "soft life" to the adoption of "soft girl era," individuals are striving to embrace and protray this lifestyle.
The merging of the "Soft Life" and "Black Women in Luxury" trends promotes an indulgent and opulent way of living. However, the problem arises when the boundaries between these two trends become blurred, as the Soft Life has become inundated with extravagant and unattainable daily routines and lifestyles, especially during times of economic decline and the widespread influence of social media.
A Life of Ease 🌹
Tumblr media
The term "soft life" originated from Nigerian influencers, and it means rejecting the idea of constantly working hard and instead choosing to live without struggle and stress. This concept has gained popularity among individuals who believe in prioritizing self-care, relaxation, and enjoying the pleasures of life. Embracing the soft life means acknowledging that life is not solely about hustling and grinding, but also about finding balance and taking time to recharge.
In a society that often glorifies busyness and equates success with non-stop productivity, the soft life offers a refreshing perspective. It encourages individuals to slow down and appreciate the little joys in life, such as spending quality time with loved ones, indulging in hobbies, or simply taking a leisurely walk in nature. It emphasizes the importance of self-care practices, such as getting enough sleep, engaging in regular exercise, and nourishing oneself with healthy, delicious meals.
Living the soft life does not mean completely shirking responsibilities or neglecting one's ambitions. It is about finding a healthy equilibrium between work and leisure, and recognizing that constant stress and burnout are not sustainable in the long run. By prioritizing self-care and setting boundaries, individuals can maintain their well-being and find fulfillment in both their personal and professional lives.
The Marketing Scheme 📈
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Due to the widespread fascination with living a comfortable and luxurious lifestyle, as well as the growing trend of promoting businesses highlighting affluent Black women, companies have cleverly targeted their audience and capitalized on this interest.
Their approach has transformed the concept of a relaxed and efficient lifestyle into a profitable strategy, enticing consumers to indulge in products endorsed by their beloved social media influencers or ones that are beyond the reach of the average individual's income.
What We Want You To Focus On:
Strive for a balanced and stress-free lifestyle that fits your budget! We want to make it clear that you don't have to give up on things like a $300 facial or $100 yoga pants. We encourage everyone to pursue the life they want. What we're saying is, don't feel pressured or inferior if you choose to do an at-home manicure, light your favorite Target candles, and enjoy a glass of wine in your bathtub at home. The true essence of a fulfilling life is finding a balance between increasing your savings and reducing stress throughout the day. It doesn't require a specific price tag on the items used to do so.
Yes, Two Things Can Be True At Once.
Tumblr media
Indeed, the well-known concept of "black women in luxury" is a way of leading a comfortable life, but the context of this aesthetic is solely dependent on financial means.
However, Living a stress-free life is primarily determined by an individual's behaviors and mindset rather than their financial status.
Life Tip: Having the right mindset leads to a luxurious lifestyle, but a luxurious lifestyle without a well-balanced mindset can lead to destruction.

detoxification and behavioural addiction
a detox, short for detoxification, refers to the process of removing toxic substances from the body. medically, detoxing is an essential step in addiction recovery. it helps individuals safely eliminate toxic and addictive substances from their bodies while managing withdrawal symptoms. it’s crucial for those with physical and psychological signs of substance dependence.
i believe, personally, that everyone has a 'drug of choice'. this isn't necessarily a substance but can be a hobby or activity. even a person. addictive behaviour arises from a desire to escape an undesirable reality through fantasy living. daydreams about a better life can drive these behaviours.
a negative example of a 'drug of choice' could be excessive eating. it's a compulsive behaviour and a coping mechanism for some individuals. some studies suggest that the brain's reward pathways involved in addiction may also play a role in binge eating.
a positive example of a 'drug of choice' is someone who dances, compulsively and as a coping mechanism. this person may use dance as an outlet - to express themself. it allows them to focus on the present moment and can reduce stress and anxiety.
obviously, this behaviour becomes an issue when it is dangerous, and excessive. this is a reason to detox.
too often, the word 'detox' is thrown around online, without many people understanding what the process actually is.
your body naturally eliminates toxins through organs like the liver, kidneys, digestive system, skin, and lungs. no special diets or expensive supplements are required for this process. detox diets often include laxatives, diuretics, teas, and other products. however, evidence doesn’t support their effectiveness for toxin elimination or sustainable weight loss. your healthy organs already handle detoxification efficiently.
detox is only the initial step towards recovery. it's super important to seek professional help if needed, find people to talk to, understand your vulnerabilities and triggers, and set boundaries.
the key is to find a healthy outlet, your 'drug of choice'.
finding a healthy outlet involves discovering activities that nourish your well-being and provide positive emotional release. consider your interests, passions, and what brings you joy. reflect on past experiences - what activities made you feel fulfilled.
some ideas for different activities include:
running
dancing
playing music
gardening
yoga
cooking
pay attention to how different activities make you feel. choose something that energizes you rather than drains you. mix physical, mental, and social outlets. avoid overcommitting - balance is key.
something to be aware of is the mind-body connection. it's the intricate interplay between our mental and physical health. it recognizes that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours significantly impact our overall well-being.

So i want to increase my height. I'm 23 years old, female. I listened to many height subliminals. But didn’t increase 1 inch. What can i do???
So u said u didn’t increase, that’s mean that u are checking 3d instead of 4d, cause if you were reaching 4d you would see that you already have your desired height and would relax about it, remember that only your opinion and your vision of yourself matters, not others. If you are sure of this then it has already happened and it will reflect on 3d, as long as u feel it and maintain that state (that DOESNT mean u need to think about it all the time, just know that in your mind and live your life feeling what u would feel if your 3d was already align)
Here are some options that can help you if you are struggling(that’s normal, u got this):
1. Revisit Your Mindset and Belief System
Height subliminals rely heavily on belief and mental alignment. If you’re approaching them with doubt or frustration, it can create resistance. Here’s what you can do:
• Reframe your mindset: Instead of focusing on “I didn’t increase 1inch yet” shift to “My body is capable of amazing transformations.”
• Combine subliminals with visualization: Picture yourself at your desired height daily, especially before bed. Imagine standing next to others and feeling taller, looking at yourself in mirrors, and feeling confident. When you listening to the subliminal make sure to keep in mind that the subliminal ABSOLUTELY works, don't wait for it to work AFTER listening, FEEL it working while listening it.
2. Posture and Spinal Health
Poor posture can make you appear shorter. Strengthening your spine and improving posture can sometimes add a visible 1-2 inches.
• Stretching exercises: Incorporate stretches like cobra pose, cat-cow, or hanging exercises to decompress your spine.
• Yoga or Pilates: These can elongate your posture and strengthen your core, giving the illusion of added height.
3. Nutrition and Supplements (if u want to)
Optimizing your body’s nutrition can benefit your overall health and bone density.
• Calcium and Vitamin D: Essential for strong bones.
• Protein: Helps repair and strengthen tissues.
• Growth hormone boosters: Foods like eggs, fish, and nuts may support natural HGH production.
Maybe doing these more "literal" things will help you in the routine of FEELING that you are achieving the height you want, it is not necessary because the power is in your mind, but the more you can make the logical part of your mind collaborate with your subconscious, the better.
4. Persist!!!
Read some success stories, do SATS, don’t think about time, or rush. Do what makes you feel confident and certain that it is possible, that you will achieve it, and when any doubts arise or thoughts like "wtf am I doing", cut them off with the opposite thought: "YES, I can do it, even if no one else has done it, fuck it, I'll be the first, I know my power and my ability, miracles exist, circumstances don't matter and everything is possible AS LONG AS >> I << believe to." What matters is that YOU believe in it, your world revolves around you and your assumptions.

Types of shadow work
There are various types of shadow work that can be explored based on individual preferences and needs.
Here are a few common approaches to shadow work:
1. Self-reflection and self-inquiry: This involves introspection, journaling, and contemplation to explore your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and patterns of behavior. It helps you identify and understand your shadow aspects.
2. Dream analysis: Paying attention to your dreams can provide valuable insights into your unconscious mind. Analyzing your dreams can reveal hidden desires, fears, and unresolved issues, offering a window into your shadow aspects.
3. Inner child work: This focuses on exploring and healing the wounded inner child within you. It involves identifying past traumas, emotional neglect, or unmet needs from childhood and working towards emotional healing and self-nurturing.
4. Creative expression: Engaging in creative activities such as art, writing, dancing, or music can be a powerful way to access and express your unconscious mind. Through creative expression, you can tap into your deeper emotions, desires, and shadow aspects.
5. Body-oriented practices: Our bodies hold emotions and memories, so somatic practices like yoga, breathwork, or body-centered therapies can help bring awareness to and release stored emotional energy in the body. This can contribute to the exploration and healing of shadow aspects.
6. Shadow dialogues and active imagination: Engaging in internal dialogues or imaginative encounters with your shadow aspects can help you understand their messages, motivations, and needs. This can involve role-playing or having conversations with different parts of yourself.
7. Shadow work in relationships: Relationships can serve as mirrors for our shadow aspects. By paying attention to the triggers, conflicts, and patterns that arise in relationships, you can gain insights into your own shadow and use these experiences as opportunities for growth and self-awareness.
8. Therapeutic support: Working with a therapist or counselor who specializes in shadow work, depth psychology, or Jungian analysis can provide guidance, support, and a structured framework for exploring and integrating your shadow aspects.
It's important to note that these approaches are not mutually exclusive, and you can combine and adapt them to suit your needs and preferences. The key is to find methods that resonate with you and support your personal journey of self-discovery and healing.

how to balance work and personal life???
Plan your days & week around your energy peaks: Figure out the times of the day when you're most focused, productive, creative, fidgety, sleepy, etc., and structure your days/weeks/month around your internal clock to the best of your ability. While this may be slightly difficult if you have a 9-5 or go to school during the day, think about what blocks of time are best dedicated to meetings, creative work, planning, routine tasks, emails, studying, etc. For those with uteruses, consider your energy throughout your cycle to help you plan the month.
Create "bookend" routines: While these will often be your morning and nighttime routines, consider how you prime and unwind your mind from your biggest tasks of the day (for most of us, this will be work, school, and chores on the weekends). Some reading, light movement, and upbeat music can create momentum before starting your daily tasks. A long walk and some journaling are a simple yet productive combination to decompress from the day.
Embrace the power of 3s: Create a daily primer routine, workday, and relaxation routine around 3 core tasks/projects/rituals. For example: Mornings can include using your 5-Minute Journal, doing a quick 10-minute meditation/yoga/dancing session to get in some movement, and spending 10 minutes reading; Your workday should be focused on completing your "Big Three" tasks, projects, or meetings of the day; Evenings can include a quick 5-10 minute planning session for the next day, a 15-60 minute walk or workout (depending on how you're feeling), and some journaling/reading time after dinner. You don't need to do it all. Consistency is key.
Make A Life Admin Schedule (and Stick To It): Choose days (and times if possible) of the week to update certain spreadsheets, batch reply to less urgent messages, clean your house, do laundry, grocery shop, etc. Scheduling these tasks ahead of time eliminates half of the battle for following through on what you need to do. Eventually, you will make these tasks into habitual routines that your brain will allow you to execute effortlessly as though you're in autopilot mode.
Focus on systems, not habits: Consider the domino effect of each practice and activity. Determine whether your current strategies and routines align with your energy, goals, and desired outcomes. Reflect on the parts of your routine that increase/decrease your energy and motivation. See how you can create a system – a pattern of consistently-practiced habits – that supports your goals and desired lifestyle that does not compromise your overall life satisfaction and well-being.
Set Boundaries: Understand your expectations, non-negotiables, and limits in every area of your life. Communicate these principles to others clearly, so they know when they are overstepping. Don't tolerate disrespect, but also don't expect others to be mind-readers. If someone knows that they're crossing your boundaries, it is easy to draw the line in the sand and walk away without the guilt or shame that can arise when conflicts originate from a lack of healthy communication.
Incorporate One Creative Practice Into Your Week: Reinvigorate your mind by engaging in at least one hour of creative activity per week. Try drawing, creative writing, poetry, singing, dancing, painting, pottery, jewelry making, graphic design, photography, etc. Even taking a foreign language course or creating a Pinterest inspiration/mood board or organizing your home/closets in an aesthetically-pleasing way counts. Figure out what creative outlet(s) you find satisfying. Prioritize scheduling this practice into your schedule weekly.
Give Yourself A Weekly "Treat": Find a healthy indulgence that you can strategically incorporate into your week. This "treat" can be a massage or nail appointment, permission to watch a movie or a couple episodes of a TV show, a serving of your favorite dessert or a glass of wine, etc. Life is meant to be enjoyed. Consider regular indulgence as an act of self-care not as a sign of weakness or self-destruction. Embracing pleasure does not require guilt or external permission.
Experiment until you find an achievable balance: Focus on progress, not perfection. While there may be days or even seasons where hard work and fewer pleasures take priority, life is meant to bring you joy, peace, and satisfaction at the end of the day. Remaining in your comfort zone does you no good. However, learning ways to find pleasure in the process remains the key to long-lasting discipline and the energy necessary to maintain the determination required for success.

Stronger
What's this new feeling in my brain
The normalcy is returning after long,
I feel calm, clear, relaxed, at ease,
Thoughts flow smoothly once again.
I see the the dark circles disappearing,
I see my eyes getting better, my vision brighter,
My skin is clearing up, becoming more youthful,
The cracks and wrinkles are fading away.
My face is going back to proportion,
As I start to sleep on my back,
Eight hours of deep rest every night,
An hour of meditation everyday.
My hair is turning back from grey,
The teeth are fixed and feel stronger,
I'm eating right three times a day
And drinking plenty of clean water.
My body is getting stronger right now,
Health and strength, my birthright returning,
As I practice my yoga every morning,
Adding the gift of flexibility to my repertoire.
I feel passion arising within me,
The love of rhyme and verse is rejuvenating,
My soul once empty, now soars daily,
As I put pen to paper, and let my thoughts flow.
I never appreciated this health when I was younger,
I had to loose this treasure to realize the value,
Now I gratefully cherish every moment,
That I can be at ease in this body as I please.

ॐ Goddess Kali and Tantra 卐
Goddesses play an important role in the study and practice of Tantra Yoga, and are affirmed to be as central to discerning the nature of reality as are the male deities. Although Parvati is often said to be the recipient and student of Shiva’s wisdom in the form of Tantras, it is Kali who seems to dominate much of the Tantric iconography, texts, and rituals.
In many sources Kali is praised as the highest reality or greatest of all deities. The Nirvana-tantra says the gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva all arise from her like bubbles in the sea, ceaselessly arising and passing away, leaving their original source unchanged. The Niruttara-tantra and the Picchila-tantra declare all of Kalis mantras to be the greatest and the Yogini-tantra, Kamakhya-tantra and the Niruttara-tantra all proclaim Kali vidyas (manifestations of Mahadevi, or “divinity itself”). They declare her to be an essence of her own form (svarupa) of the Mahadevi.
In the Mahanirvana-tantra, Kali is one of the epithets for the primordial Shakti, and in one passage Shiva praises her;
At the dissolution of things, it is Kala [Time] Who will devour all, and by reason of this He is called Mahakala, and since Thou devourest Mahakala Himself, it is Thou who art the Supreme Primordial Kalika. Because Thou devourest Kala, Thou art Kali, the original form of all things, and because Thou art the Origin of and devourest all things Thou art called the Adya [the Primordial One]. Re-assuming after Dissolution Thine own form, dark and formless, Thou alone remainest as One ineffable and inconceivable. Though having a form, yet art Thou formless; though Thyself without beginning, multiform by the power of Maya, Thou art the Beginning of all, Creatrix, Protectress, and Destructress that Thou art.

There is a trait that isn't quite a hustle mentality or a grindset, because it's way more lighthearted and kind of funny. I call it the "always down to make a buck" mentality, something that's often possessed by the archetypal "jack of all trades." These people aren't exhausting themselves or burning themselves out, and they don't have any kind of superiority complex. They tend to quietly, almost accidentally acquire an impressive number of hard and soft skills over the years, and when the opportunity to financially benefit from those skills arises, they get a crazy little gleam in their eye and treat the day almost like a side quest in a video game.
Anyway, my mom periodically picks up cash as someone who is both certified to teach yoga and also licensed to drive 40 ft buses (to name a few of her skills) and neither of these things is her primary source of income.

rin + a cuddling session after a long day? <3
ah summer thank you so much for requesting babes!! i hope you like it <3
wc: 861 || unedited!!
The hand on the clock moved yet again full circle after 60 seconds have passed, indicating another minute had gone by. The time read 9:18 PM. It was perfect.
The sun had gone to sleep for the night as well as the nearby birds who have flown back to their nests to be with their family. It was absolutely quiet – except for the noise of the crickets that took shelter in the bushes near the windows from the outside. That might’ve annoyed Rin the most.
Almost every night Rin had the same routine. Once he returned back from practice, he would find himself walking to his weight room in the back of his apartment and doing weights until he could no longer move a muscle. Next were his yoga and breathing exercises. He’d take deep breaths and calm his body and mind, going over the mental notes in his head for any ways that he could better himself for the next day, the day after that, and so on. Occasionally he’d let out a small grunt when stretching his muscles out. He never realized how sore he was until he got to this step in his routine.
The next was probably his favorite. He never wanted to admit it but just like every other athlete in the world, he desperately needed a shower after an exhausting day. He loved when the water was a bit more on the hotter side. One time when you joined him, you complained that the temperature of the water almost burned your skin off – and in response, he said, “That’s too bad. Hot water soothes everything.” He meant well, but you knew he was serious.
His next and final step was dinner. There was nothing special about this for the most part. The majority of all his meals are prepped on Sunday night so he didn’t have to worry about it when he came back and was exhausted. They were usually all in the same category. Whatever he thought he needed in his food intake, he’d make it to the best of his ability.
Tonight was different.
He was not in the mood to go straight to the weight room. Instead, he found himself going straight for the bathroom and taking a quick shower. He wasn’t sure what it was. Maybe it was the fact that his left knee was hurting a bit more, or the fact there was a limp in his step. Overall, he knew today that he would go off his routine.
Which led him to his current position.
Rin lay on his back, staring straight up at the ceiling. His arm was wrapped around your body – his fingers slowly moving up and down your side. The tips of his fingers on your body caused goosebumps to arise on your skin. Your spare hand rests on his abdomen, drawing lazy shapes onto his bare skin.
There were things you wanted to say and ask him but you felt as if this was the wrong time to bring it up. Words would ruin a rare moment like this. You both knew you needed this. You couldn’t remember when the last time was when you and Rin could lay in bed and relax with one another. He was always so busy and would come home late and when he did, he would get started on his nightly post-practice routine. Chances are when he finished, you were already off to bed to wake up early for your job the next morning.
Getting to spend this moment was all you needed. It was quiet besides the insects out your window – the lighting in the room was dimmed. Rin felt as if he could drift off to sleep at any moment, but if he was being honest with himself, he didn’t want this moment to end.
Laying here with you made him realize how much he yearned for this.
“I miss you.”
Rin notices his words caught you by surprise, and rightfully so. He can’t remember the last time he said those words to you. Him saying it now showed you that he meant every word.
“I miss you too, Rin.”
A small smile is plastered on his face when he feels your head trying to bury itself even deeper into the crook of his neck. Your lips press against the spot above his collarbone and a muffled, “I love you” is said.
“I love you,” he mutters, cranking his head to the side and pressing his lips against your forehead. “More than you can know.”
No words were said after that. Kisses and loving touches were the only thing exchanged between the two of you. Rin wondered how he went so long without the warm feeling that pooled in his belly when he was with you. Soccer took up so much of his time that he didn’t realize it was hurting him and you.
He made a vow while staring up at the ceiling ; to spend more nights like this with you. The sport was his dream after all, but it could only take him so far.
His real dream lay in his arms, fast asleep — right where he wanted you to be.

"Homage to you, O Tara, who dispels all fears and who grants all wishes!
With your swift activity, may you protect us from all dangers."
:TARA is the second form of Goddess in Dasha Mahavidyas (Ten Wisdom Forms). She is not only an important Hindu Goddess but also the most important of the Buddhist Goddesses. The Bodhisattva Tara is the consort of the great Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the Lord who looks down with compassion on all living beings. In his book ‘Tantric Yoga and the Wisdom Goddesses: Spiritual Secrets of Ayurveda’ Dr David Frawley writes: “The term Tara means the deliverer or saviour, from the Sanskrit root tri, meaning ‘to take across,’ as to take across a river, the ocean, a mountain, or any difficult situation. The Goddess Tara is called upon in emergencies or at crossroads where we require guidance as to which way to turn. Tara is the saving knowledge. She is the Saviouress.
The idea of the Goddess as saving wisdom is as old as the Vedas, and is a common idea in many spiritual traditions. “Tara the saviour (Taarini) is as potent as Kali. She is said to be the form that Mahadevi took in order to destroy the thousand-headed Ravana. Tara has strong presence in the Buddhism (especially the Tibetan Buddhism) and in Jain pantheons also. Among the Mahavidyas, Tara is next only to Kali; and she resembles Kali in appearance more than any other Mahavidya. Tara as Mahavidya is not entirely benign; she could be fierce and horrifying. “Tara is the feminine form of Om or Om personified as a goddess. Tara is the unmanifest sound that exists in the ether of consciousness, through which we can go beyond the entire manifestation. Tara is Om that has the appearance of the ether and which pervades the ether as its underlying vibratory support, but also transcends it.
Om is the unmanifest field behind creation, which is the destroyer as well as the creator of the universe.” David Frawley elaborates, “Tara is the purifying force of the vital breaths. Sound that manifests in the ether is the same as the Prana (life-force) that manifests in the ether. Breath is the primal sound of life, and the sound of the breath is the original, spontaneous and unuttered mantra (So’ ham). Both mind and Prana, as word and vibration, have their root in sound. Hence the use of sound or mantra both purifies and energises the mind. Tara is the radiance of knowledge that arises from the differentiation of meanings through sound. Different sounds serve as vehicles whereby different ideas or meanings flash forth.
Om is the underlying light that illumines these different sounds and allows meaning to flow through them. All meanings exist to reintegrate us into the ocean of meaning that is pure consciousness itself.” Tara, like Kali, is deep blue in colour. She has matted hair, wears a garland of human heads, and has eight serpents for her ornaments. She is dancing on a corpse, has four arms and carries in her four hands a sword or head chopper, a scissors, a severed head and a lotus. :By Rajendra Diwe

astro notes: daily transits 7/17
Wednesday, 7/17, presents a blend of defiance, cheerfulness, and potential overconfidence. The day begins with a challenging aspect, transitions through a more uplifting influence, and then encounters tension between optimism and realism.
Key Influences
Cancer Sun Squares Eris in Aries (Morning): Defiant Reactions: This aspect creates a challenging dynamic, where protective instincts clash with belligerent energies. It can lead to defiant or rebellious behavior, particularly in response to perceived threats or injustices.
Sagittarius Moon Trine Venus in Leo (8:07 a.m.): Lightening the Emotional Load: This harmonious trine brings a cheerful and optimistic energy, helping to lighten the mood. It promotes warmth, sociability, and a focus on enjoyment and affection.
Jupiter in Gemini Opposes the Moon (4:20 p.m.): Blithe Attitude: Jupiter's opposition to the Moon can lead to an overly optimistic or carefree attitude towards current problems. There's a tendency to gloss over issues or be overly generous in verbal expressions.
Jupiter–Ceres Quincunx (11°48' Gemini–Capricorn) (Late Night): Overconfidence: This quincunx highlights a mismatch between expansive optimism and practical needs. It can lead to judgments about overconfidence or not being grounded in reality.
Integrating the Influences
Morning Defiance: Manage Reactions: Recognize the potential for defiant reactions in the morning. It's important to stay calm and not overreact to provocations. Engage in grounding activities to maintain a balanced perspective.
Cheerful Trine: Lighten Up: Embrace the uplifting energy of the Moon-Venus trine. This aspect supports social interactions, affection, and finding joy in small moments. Use this time to connect with others and spread positivity.
Blithe Attitude: Balance Optimism with Realism: Be aware of the tendency to be overly carefree or dismissive of problems in the afternoon. While it's good to stay optimistic, ensure you're also addressing issues pragmatically.
Overconfidence Check: Stay Grounded: The Jupiter-Ceres quincunx calls for a balance between optimism and practicality. Be mindful of overestimating your abilities or resources. Ground your plans and actions in reality to avoid potential pitfalls.
Practical Applications
Morning Routine: Stay Grounded: Start the day with grounding practices such as meditation, yoga, or a calming walk. This will help you manage any defiant or rebellious energies that may arise.
Social Interactions: Spread Cheer: Use the Moon-Venus trine to connect with friends or loved ones. Plan a social activity or express affection to lighten the emotional atmosphere.
Afternoon Balance: Address Problems: While maintaining an optimistic outlook, ensure you're also tackling any issues that need attention. Avoid glossing over problems or being overly generous in your promises.
Evening Reflection: Grounded Planning: Reflect on your goals and plans, ensuring they are grounded in practicality. Consider making adjustments to align your optimism with realistic expectations.

Note
Hello dar Lazyyogi,
First of all, it is so good to read your words again after quite some time. And it always is. Thank you so much for continue to share, thank you so much for being here!
My question today is about medical school and going through a hard tough learning or academic journey. I started a bachelors in musical composition one year and a half ago and it honestly has been one of the most tough period in my life. I feel dumb. I struggle to understand concepts and I feel slow compared to collegues. I feel so fucking tired, that when I have the option to rest or study I need to rest - and that makes me question myself, if I am "meant" for this, or if I can truly do this as it's meant to be, or just how can I be the composer I want to be if I'm so tired I can't study properly in this period which is meant to be my composition uterus. I feel difficulty to understand my teachers, and I feel lonely when studying (music is a lonely study truly). I love music. I aspire to be a good composer in the classical field (and popular, which I already do). But I do not feel motivation and I just feel very, very tired. The first year was high in energy and I was struggling but fighting. This year I don't even have the energy to want to do it. But I want to continue because I know I can achieve what I envision - I know I can create beautiful music in complex forms. And I think I want to do it for a long time.
Did you encounter similar dificulties in medical school, please? And if so, how did you deal with it? Specially the tiredness.
Thank you.
Wow this sounds so challenging! Good on you for taking it on in the first place.
Firstly, all of this is challenging enough without adding stressful/depressing thoughts or questions regarding if you are "meant" for this, if you can do this, or if you can be successful.
When I decided to become a doctor after graduating college with a degree in English, I was taking on a path and coursework that I had deliberately avoided since high school. There were times I questioned if I could even do it or if I would ever become a doctor.
But none of that mattered or was important. All that mattered was on thing: Was I willing to find out?
So when all of these thoughts arise questioning if you're cut out for this, if you can manage to succeed, just direct all of it into one question: "Am I willing to find out?"
So long as you're willing to find out if you can do it, then nothing else matters. Just proceed, do your best, and find out.
If you succeed then great. And if not, then you have to evaluate why and adjust your approach.
I failed to find a place for myself in the film industry, which then led me to becoming a doctor and then a surgeon. There's nothing wrong with failure so long as we aren't afraid to honestly evaluate and adjust our approach forward.
Secondly, the tiredness. My advice here is prioritizing your physical well-being.
I like that you choose sleep when necessary, because that's important. Recognize when your studying is ineffective so that you stop wasting your time. If you need a break, take a break. If you need to stop for the day and go to bed early, do that!
Get enough rest but also make sure you set aside 1 hour a day for self-case. Exercise! Doing 15 minutes of cardio daily is huge and will make a big difference. Do some yoga a few days per week. Sitting and studying so much can take a real toll on your body! Seriously.
Make sure you are eating well. Take a multivitamin. Make sure you are getting enough vitamin D.
If you can work 15 - 30 minutes of meditation into your day, great. Even 5 - 15 minutes is still helpful.
Lastly, and this is a big one:
Don't confuse knowledge/skill acquisition with intelligence!
This is something I learned during my residency. I have always had learning disabilities but I never appreciated what that really meant until residency. I acquire knowledge quite slowly. I am a slow learner.
If I judge myself solely based on my learning abilities, I would feel quite stupid. But I'm actually quite clever and ingenious in the ways I apply my knowledge and skills. Understanding this distinction has provided me with more confidence in myself and more self-insight.
To summarize my advice here:
Don't make a challenging process even more difficult by adding your own negativity, doubt, and fear. Learn to meet your challenges in an objective, strategic, and tactful way. Find a self-care regimen that works for and supports you.
And it's never a bad idea to consider speaking with a therapist as well. Someone to help you work through this endeavor could be an amazing resource.
Hang in there, take care of yourself, and see where it takes you!
Much love.
