Femme Fatale Guide: How To Gain & Maintain Respect
In your professional and academic life, romantic or sexual enthrallments, social life, or any relationship – most importantly, the one with yourself.
Decide your needs are valid and feel worthy of having these needs met.
Reflect and refine your most authentic core values in every area of your life and then be deliberate in aligning your actions with these values as much as possible.
Be honest about your non-negotiables in every aspect of your life. Establish boundaries with these needs in mind. Then learn to communicate them calmly and assertively to others. Uphold your boundaries when they're tested or challenged.
Approach any conflict, negotiation, or difficult conversation as an opportunity to help both parties understand each other and come away from the interaction with a mutually desirable outcome. Operate out from a place of seeking mutual benefit, not a win-lose mindset.
Depersonalize other people's actions and attitudes. Communicate from a place of empathy and your personal value-add rather than responding to protect your ego.
Be discerning with who and what you let into your life (friends, romantic relationships, professional opportunities, social ties, family members, etc.). See how your value system and ways of communicating/interacting align before diving head-first into an interpersonal commitment. Vet individuals carefully to confirm they'll enrich – not deplete – your overall quality of life.
Take accountability when warranted but don't overapologize. Focus on being solution-oriented, not problem-centric, when dealing with a negative outcome, consequence, or conflict.
When in a disagreement with a healthy-minded individual, encourage an open dialogue and hear their side without judgment before making any type of accusations. With that said, always prepare and know when to walk away from a person, relationship, opportunity, event, etc.
Maintain your health, well-being, and appearance. Prioritize a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, daily movement/exercise, a full night's rest, mindfulness practices/therapy, a solid skincare routine, hair/beauty maintenance, clean and neat clothes that suit your personal style, etc.
Make time for activities and people you love. Schedule times for hobbies, indulgent rituals, social plans, etc. into your weekly calendar to ensure you're enjoying life as much as you realistically can. Owning your right to enjoy life is the ultimate sign of self-respect.

I don't know how many times I have to have this epiphany before it sticks, but:
If a "must do" task is not getting done, delete it.
Stop clogging up your to-do lists/systems/workflows with obligations you can't bring yourself to do, stop choking the usefulness out of these methods.
A proper to-do system, working for you, is a stream of tasks. A task you never do but keep indefinitely? It's tar, it's molasses, it's thick oil. It's a platelet, a junk-trapping branch, at best it's something you have to keep moving past, at worst it's the beginning of a clot which will stop the whole flow.
"But I have to do it" great! then you won't forget about it. Delete it.
"But it's due soon/now/yesterday/[...]" shhhh shh sh sh sh shush. Delete it. If you're really going to do it, you'll eagerly add it back in when you're actually ready to act on it.
Your to-do list is not everything you Must/Want to do. It's a tool for helping you do the things you can do.

Life Design: No Victims Allowed
I have the week off work—yay! I’m looking forward to our first snowfall, and I am happy I don’t have to be out there in it. Just before I went on vacation, I was chatting with the receptionist, and she had this document on her desk; Design Your Life in 28 Days. The first question I noticed was … (Drum Roll Please) Write down three words that describe who you are.Curious, Creative, Reflective…

Femme Fatale Guide: Mindset Shifts To Improve Your Life
Think "Practical vs. Pleasure" not "Right vs. Wrong" when evaluating your thoughts, desires, actions, and decisions. Stop moralizing your emotions, inclinations, and goals when curating your life and inner world. Shaming leads to stagnation, not self-reflection.
Design your days based on 3s. Consider the 3 most important tasks of your day that, if completed, will leave you feeling satisfied with your progress/productivity at the end of the day. Plan how and what 3 meals to incorporate into your day. Divide your day 3 parts into morning/priming, afternoon/productivity, and evening & nighttime/unwinding. Consider the 3 activities you can do/complete during these 8-hour blocks that will leave you feeling fulfilled and a step closer to your longer-time goals/overall well-being.
Consider your various needs as different buckets that require regular nourishment (physical, emotional, social, sexual, financial, and personal growth). Look beyond certain inclinations and behaviors to understand why a certain decision, action, or relationship is a value-add to your life. Many actions, goals, and relationships fall into more than one of these buckets simultaneously. If you don't sense that some practice, routine, or relationship serves any of these purposes, it's time to reevaluate why and whether it's worthwhile to keep this time & energy consumer in your life.
Perceive your life as a hub & spoke model with you as the hub and all your responsibilities, self-care activities, and relationships as the nodes. This roadmap allows you to reclaim ownership over your life and act in your own best interest. Seeing yourself as the center of a web (your personhood) helps you to organize your life while simultaneously seeing how all your interdependent relationships, responsibilities, and valued activities influence your day-to-day.

Huuuuuge life improvement!
The "UnTrap for YouTube" extension.
Just checked Video Page -> Hide Related Videos. Instant, blissful, life-changing relief. (On Firefox it first asked me to enable a setting in about:config but I just clicked past that and so far it's working fine for me.)
God words cannot fucking describe how nice it is to have that load relieved. No longer do I have to spend willpower fending off video recs which are literally optimized and selected for hijacking human attention and decision-making as effectively as possible.
P.S. Firefox on mobile (Android, idk about iOS) added support for extensions recently! (There's also Kiwi Browser, based on Chromium, which has had web extension support for quite some time.)
