Info Before I Start Writing
My FNF AU
I’m going to put down some information on the characters here for my FNF AU! I might call this the Billy Is Missing AU.
Boyfriend/Blake:
Species: Half-angel, Half-human.
Age: 19
Gender: Transmasc
Sexuality: Bisexual
Height: 7”2 (base height), 4”5 (Chibi/Preferred height.)
Attire/angel traits: normal white shirt with crossed out sign and jeans. He wears his usual cap, but he also has quite a few ear piercings and a nose piercing on the left side. Blake also wears a black hoodie with red sleeves and a red hood. He gets his wings near the end of the story (angels have to earn their wings). The feathers at the top are a navy blue. They turn lighter with each row of feathers. This angel luckily only has top surgery scars.
Personality: Blake is a very cheerful, yet sassy angel. He’s confident to the point of stupidity, but isn’t afraid to be emotional. Like canon, BF is both autistic and has ADHD (type 3). He’s nonverbal and prefers to communicate via his beeps and boops (which is one way for him to stim). When Blake does speak, it’s for a very important reason. He also stims by ruffling his feathers and cooing like a pigeon.
Nicknames: Bee (from Pico), blue, little angel.
Girlfriend/Gracie:
Species: Demon
Age: 19
Gender: Genderfluid (with a preference for she/her)
Sexuality: Pansexual
Height: 8”4 (base height), 4”7 (Chibi/preferred height.)
Attire/demon traits: She wears her usual minidress along with a leather jacket and her heels. Gracie has her parent’s purple skin tone near eyes and various other spots on her body. This also includes her horns, demon tail (which is in the shape of a heart), and pointed ears.
Personality: Kind and sassy, similar to Blake. Despite growing up in a rich family, she taught herself how to take care of herself so she could prove her parents that she could. GF has so much confidence in her boyfriend (that it turns into stupidity). She is very loving and stims via biting and chewing on a necklace that Blake got her.
Nicknames: Doll (from Pico), demon darling.
Pico
Species: Human
Age: 20
Gender: Cis male
Sexuality: Demisexual (takes a lot of trust for him)
Height: 4”6 (bro is tiny)
Attire: Pico wears his usual green turtleneck and brown pants. He also wears leather, fingerless gloss and he has a nose ring. Scars cover his arms and chest. Pico gets blinded in his left eye near the end of the story due to being scratched.
Personality: Pico has PTSD and schizophrenia due to the events of Pico’s School. He carries a lot of survivor’s guilt because of the incident and it was because of him that he and Blake originally broke up. Despite that, Blake still loves and cares for Pico, which the poor guy just can’t comprehend. He has a hard time opening up, but he does grow as a character as the story goes on.
Nicknames: Pitbull (from Blake), Bodyguard (from Gracie), Buster.
Billy/Yourself:
Species: Pure angel
Age: 24
Gender: Transmasc
Sexuality: Bisexual
Height: 7”2 (base/preferred height), 4”5 (Chibi height).
Attire/angel traits: He was a very similar attire to BF, but the white shirt is actually a hoodie with the same crossed out sign and red sleeves and hood. His clothes are covered in rips and tears. His wings were much darker than BF’s and even had some gray at the tips. Of course, they are nothing but nubs during the story (he ripped them off). Along with his top surgery scars, Billy has a lot of scratches and scars on his chest. He has the same piercings as Blake.
Personality: Billy is actually very emotionally intelligent. He can read a situation easily and can see how a person feels about it. Billy is also incredible with finances. This stems from the fact that he was an orphan who lived in an abandoned treehouse, so he had to fend for himself. When Herself passed, Billy fell into his depression and couldn’t bring himself to be social or take care of himself (thus looking as unkept as he is). Despite this, Billy is a very sweet angel who thinks of Blake as being his younger brother.
Nicknames: Silly Billy, Angel (from Pogo).
Hana/Herself:
Species: Pure Demon
Age: 24
Gender: Genderfluid (preference for she/her)
Sexuality: Pansexual
Height: 8”4 (base/preferred height), 4”7 (Chibi height).
Attire/demon traits: While she was alive, Hana wore a variety of red dresses. Her favorite was one that had black seams and wrist cuffs. She wore heels just like GF and often borrowed Billy’s black hoodie. She has a tail and horns like GF, but they’re red instead of purple.
Personality: She’s a very sweet demon. If it weren’t for her physical appearance, most people wouldn’t know she was a demon. Hana did get bullied as a kid since demons are looked down upon, so Pogo and Billy were her only two friends for the longest time. Out of the three, she’s the most innocent and naive since her parents are actually good parents.
Nicknames: Lily (from Billy), Sweetie, Sweetheart.
Pogo/Himself:
Species: Huntsman (this is a species designed to kill monsters. They are often mistaken for Anthros)
Age: 25
Gender: Cis male
Sexuality: Pansexual
Height: 8”7
Attire/Huntsman traits: Instead of a turtleneck, Pogo wears a green hoodie that has light and dark green stripes on the sleeves. He also wears torn up brown pants. Orange fur covers his dog-like legs and his tail is similar to that of a German Shepherd in shape. Pogo also wears fingerless gloves and has a black and white bandana around his neck. Unlike Pico, the right side of his head is shaved while the left side is styled similarly to Soft Pico. The only difference is that his hair covers his missing left eye. Similar to Silly Billy and Herself, shadows surround his eyes. Pogo’s teeth and claws are incredibly sharp. Scars cover his arms and chest, but they’re not from the incident. (He’s jacked as well.)
Personality: Pogo is a very sweet and carefree pup. He genuinely understands and tries to help people with their trauma (even though he neglects his own). Unfortunately, Pogo can also get very violent when need be. When he sees someone he loves being hurt, Pogo goes insane and viciously tears that person apart. This is out of his control though and is terrified of this state (which he calls “The Beast”). He’s afraid that it will hurt those he loves. However, it’s actually there to protect his loved ones.
Nicknames: Guard dog, Puppy (from Billy), Big Dog.

Pulsed electromagnetic field applications: A corporate perspective
The three devices, Physio-Stim, Spinal-Stim and Cervical-Stim were each designed and developed specifically for osteogenesis stimulation. Each device incorporates a specific set of triangular shaped PEMF signals with the particular set of signals taking advantage of having its polarization and depolarization within the positive magnetic discipline vary as alerts inside each the bad and effective phase have been located to be much less effective. While PEMF indicators can be different thru transformations of their pulse period, burst period, amplitude, and variety of pulses/burst, the unique parameters for these three units had been chosen primarily based on preliminary preclinical research mixed with engineering issues such as battery existence and system portability. In vitro signalling pathways Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) is a technology that has been used in the treatment of a variety of diseases, with the potential to treat more than 300 human conditions without side effects. PEMF therapy is comprised of either low-intensity, rhythmic Bio-field Systems (BFS) and/or high-intensity, pulsed electromagnetic fields placed on specific locations within the body. The study reported by Patterson et al also looked at the effect of PEMF therapy on bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). The investigators found that both biofield stimulation and pulsed electromagnetic field exposure increased MSC proliferation with parathyroid hormone (PTH)-activated protein kinase signaling, which was similar to observations related to sustained PTH treatment Osteotomies/fracture repair Ibiwoye et al mentioned that bone was once preserved in a critical-sized osteotomy uncovered three hours day by day to PEMF (Physio-Stim) for 10 weeks. Specifically, bilateral, mid-diaphyseal fibular osteotomies have been carried out in aged rats that carried out a nonunion popularity inside 3–4 weeks which used to be accompanied by using PEMF exposure.Unilateral PEMF exposure preserved the fibulae bone mass as measured by microcomputed tomography (micro-CT). Osteoporosis Osteoporosis prevention in an early rodent model. The ovariectomized rats were subjected to daily PEMF exposure for 3 hours over 3 days after 3 days of ovariectomy and followed for 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 18 weeks, and 24 weeks. Other groups were treated with bisphosphonates instead (alendronate; 3 subcutaneous injections / week; 10 μg / kg body weight). Micro-CT showed significantly more trabecular bone remaining at the L4 vertebrae in the PEMF group relative to sham (30% more) but other groups had similar preservation with significantly more bone than both alendronate alone and alendronate+PEMF-treated groups. Tenogenic and myogenic experiments In vitro differentiation and proliferation The effects of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) on myocyte proliferation and differentiation have been studied in vitro using C2C12 murine myoblasts. PEMF exposure enhanced gene expression of growth factors in both human rotator cuff tenocytes (COL1, TGFβ-1, PDGFβ, BMP12 and TIMP4) and myocytes (MyoD). The implications from these results may be the potential use of PEMF as a non-operative treatment to improve clinical outcomes following rotator cuff repair. In vivo tendon healing Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) exposure is used to stimulate healing in tendon repair. This study aimed to investigate the effects of PEMF on tendon-to-bone healing after rotator cuff repair in rats, and the underlying mechanisms involved. The rats were treated with a PEMF at different frequencies (3.85–40 kHz) or durations (1 hours/day, 3 hours/day, or 6 hours/day). Tendon properties were assessed before surgery and at 4 weeks postoperatively. The results revealed that early improvements in tendon modulus was only found for PEMFs at lower fundamental frequencies (for all exposure durations). In addition, PEMFs with varying fundamental frequencies led to greater improvements in tendon modulus at higher fundamental frequencies

[ID: 8 images. The first is the title, the other 7 are each made up of four panels, two on the top, two on the bottom.
Image 1: Autistic Vocabulary Cheat Sheet @ myautisticsoul
Image 2: Autistic: A type of Neurodivergent person whose entire identity consists of thinking, communicating, understanding, being, and feeling. The brain is wired differently. Allistic: A person that is not Autistic. Neurodivergent: A person whose neurotype is divergent of a majority of society. This includes autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, etc. Neurotypical: A person who is neurotype is typical of majority of society.
Image 3: Meltdown: An internal and/or external loss of control stemming from demands, stress, over/under stimulation, disruption, or overwhelming emotions. Not a tantrum. Can look like crying, bolting, anger, self-injurious stimming, irregular breathing. Shut down: Another possible reaction to the cause of meltdowns, but instead of the person withdrawals partly or wholly from their environment. They close in on themselves. Burnout: The result of built up stress, masking, and having to navigate an allistic world. It looks like exhaustrion, depression, increased meltdowns, suicidal ideation, anxiety, anger, and loss of certain skills. Overstimulation/Understimulation: A feeling of being overwhelmed brought on by an overload of sensory/emotional input. A feeling of being ungrounded brought on my lack of sensory/emotional input.
Image 4: Stimming: Any type of repetition using any of the 5 senses to help regulate and express emotions, communicate, understand, distract, or just for fun. I.e. hand flapping, tapping, humming, spinning, listening to music, watching rain fall, using fidget toys. Echolalia: Repetition of sounds or words either vocally or inside the head in order to self comfort, communicate, process, improve language skills, and sometimes just because. Special interest: Something to which an Autistic has taken a strong liking to and may or may not spend a considerable amount of time researching it, talking about it, and otherwise engaging with it. Same food: A food or drink that an Autistic eats religiously because it is familiar and comforting. Same foods may change over time.
Image 5: Masking: The conscious or unconscious act of suppressing Autistic traits in covering them with allistic behaviors. Can lead to under/misdiagnosis, burnout, and meltdowns. Nonverbal: An adjective describing an Autistic who does not communicate verbally. They may communicate using AAC devices, sign language, gestures and facial expressions, typing, echolalia, pointing to pictures, or looking. Sensory Seeking/Sensory Avoidant: An overall or temporary adjective to describe an Autistic who is in need of sensory input. An overall or temporary adjective to describe an autistic who needs to get away from sensory input. Self-diagnosed: A valid term to describe someone who recognizes that they are Autistic without getting a formal diagnosis. Also known as self-discovery.
Image 6: Misophonia: An unusually strong reaction to certain sounds, such as chewing, smacking, breathing, and nose blowing. It can cause anger, irritation, panic, fear, and distress. Spectrum: A term to describe the broad band that all Autistics are a part of. The autism spectrum. No Autistic lies on one point, and it does not go from least to most Autistic. Is more like a color wheel, on which all Autistics' traits ebb and flow. Identity-first/Person-first: "Autistic": used by people who know that being Autistic is who you are at the core. "Person with autism": used by people who believe that autism is separate from who you are, and therefore does not define you. Stems from ignorance. Functioning Labels: Terms such as high and low functioning, mild and severe, and the level system given at diagnosis that are used to categorize Autistics based on harmful and inaccurate assumptions.
Image 7: Aphantasia: The inability to create a mental image in your head. Shapes and colors are not visible even when eyes are closed and you are voluntarily trying to picture something. Comorbidity: Something you are more likely to have or experience because you are Autistic. It is not caused by autism. I.e. depression, OCD, headaches/migraines, ADHD, gastrointestinal problems. Synesthesia: A blending of senses. Some people can hear color, taste sound, associate numbers with colors, see pain, and so on. Someone with synesthesia is called a synesthete. Autism as a Disability: A good chunk of what makes autism and disability comes from the structure of society and the rigidity of what we have defined as being human.
Image 8: Aspergers: An outdated diagnosis, which is no longer in the DSM, that inaccurately labeled someone as "less Autistic". Named after a Nazi eugenicist who thought those who seemed more "normal" could be spared and made into productive citizens. ABA: A harmful therapy that mainly focuses on the behaviors of an Autistic and attempts to suppress their traits and replace them with more allistic behaviors. Stems from gay conversion and electroshock therapy. It is often the only option for parents because of insurance. Autism $peaks: A hate group posing as a "helpful" foundation for raising awareness of autism. Led by allistics. Frames autism as bad and an epidemic. Supports ABA. They talk about us without us. Most money goes towards the board and raising shitty and harmful awareness. Puzzle Piece: A symbol use to harmfully represent autism, deeming Autistics as complicated, puzzling, and missing pieces. First used alongside an image of a crying child. The Neurodiversity infinity symbol is largely preferred by the Autistic community.

I'm having an anxiety attack right now
So i'll give you a checklist of what i do to be calm/okay
1. Let out the anxiety through any stims
For me it's bouncing my leg, shaking my hands
It's okay to cry!!!
2. Always ensure you are breathing in DEEPLY
How fast you are breathing is not as important right now
3. QUICK CHECK IN
What am i feeling? Where does the uneasiness stem from?
A SH object? Leave the room/get domeone to take it away
If you don't know then use exactly that!
I'm feeling like i shouldn't be where i am right now.
4. Talk to yourself about it:
Nothing is wrong, i'm safe.
Nothing can happen to me right now, it's okay.
DON'T LIE, it'll lead to more overthinking
IF YOU REALLY AREN'T SAFE OR IT REALLY ISN'T OKAY SAY THINGS LIKE:
It's gonna be okay, this issue will be solved
I have enough chances, i can try again
I didn't get that chance, i'll find something else, it'll work out
NO LYING ONLY SPECULATION
.
In times like these i like to seperate my anxious self from my calm self if you get me
So i'll pretend i'm talking to a crying, young me
5. Work on your breathing
I like to do 5 finger count breathing
IN for 5
HOLD for 5
OUT for 5
HOLD for 5
That might only work for me though
6. If you're semi-calm (as in you can focus again) , cope in a healthy way
Talk about it
Watch comfort shows
Draw
Write
Etc.
.
It's gonna be okay<3
If you don't know what you could tell yourself in certain situations without lying, send me an ask
I'll see if i can help

Peridot is the first character I’ve ever been able to relate to on a personal level and here’s why...
I’m autistic. I’m a 20 year old female with Asperger’s and never in my life have I been able to relate to character as well as Peridot. Every character I’ve seen in media prior to Peridot that could be considered autisitc has either been an incredibly inaccurate depiction or...well...male!
Although it’s not specifically stated whether or not Peridot is autistic, I believe that Rebecca Sugar has mentioned in the past that she’s glad people in the autistic community can relate to the character. I’m going to list some reasons below as to why I believe people in the community can relate to Peridot. I want to say that she’s obviously an alien (lmao) so I’m just stating all of the things that I see as autistic traits in her character. Everyone on the spectrum experiences different autistic traits, these are just a few I believe that Peridot exhibits.
1. Social interaction and communication.
Peridot struggles a lot with her communication throughout the series. Now, this doesn’t mean that she isn’t well spoken because she is! It’s more or less regarding how she communicates with others. Her phrasing is INCREDIBLY literal, she has a lack of understanding of jokes and sarcasm. Peridot comes across as insensitive a lot of the time. As an example, in 'Too Far’ Amethyst encourages her to say mean things about people, laughing whenever she does. Peridot takes this as what she’s saying is making Amethyst like her, but in reality, she’s hurting people and not realising. It’s very much the idea that you speak your mind without thinking, only realising later that what you’ve said may have offended someone. This can be seen as a lack of empathy by others. Something I, unfortunately, experience a lot in my own life.
Peridot tends to speak in a monotone voice, then not knowing how to control her voice usually ends up shouting when emotionally provoked. She can also sometimes speak too fast. I also have to mention that Peridot has a fantastic vocabulary, which I admire greatly.
Peridot often struggles with emotions. Unable to understand other people’s emotions, she often uses her tape recorder to express how she’s feeling. Of course, this is done pretty awkwardly - but she tries her hardest to relate to how other people feel.
2. Special Interests
A special interest is a hyper-focused interest that autistic people have. This could pretty much be anything, for me (currently), it’s Steven Universe. For Peridot - it’s Camp Pining Hearts! Special interests are much different from hobbies and can change frequently or very rarely. It’s something that you think about every second of the day, something you have to know everything about - your warm blanket. It can become a comfort to you and in Peridot’s case it seems as if CPH’s becomes that interest. She’s obsessive over the show, wants to know everything about it, wants to watch all the episodes repeatedly and even tends to relate real life situations back to the characters so she can grasp a better understanding of people’s emotions. She even manages to convince Lapis to watch the show with her - probably because she kept info-dumping CPH lore and Lapis had no idea what she was talking about. Sounds like a familiar situation with me and my poor mother who I’ve made sit through episodes of SU so she knows what I’m talking about lmao. Bottom line = special interests make us very very happy!
3. Change of Routine & Comforts
Let’s be honest, Peridot was out of her depth getting stranded on Earth. Poor thing, but what made that worse? Steven and the Gems took away her comforts! People with autism tend to get quite attached to certain items that bring us comfort and you can see this a lot throughout the series. Peridot’s limb enhancers, the tape recorder, the barn (!) and her tablet etc.
What happens to Peridot when people mess with her stuff? When people take away the things that bring her that comfort? FREAKOUT. She’s overwhelmed with emotion and usually has a meltdown after these things have been taken away and the norm is no longer the norm. We can see this when Lapis takes the barn away, Peridot falls into a deep pit of depression - routine has been broken and the place she called home has been ripped away so suddenly. She cannot adapt quick enough to the change.
4. Coordination
Okay so, Peridot is incredibly prone to being clumsy. She’s probably the one character who has just straight up fallen on their face the most. Well, I think it may be because her co-ordination isn’t exactly...great. A condition called Dyspraxia is pretty common amongst people with autism which can make us a little bit clumsier than usual and can effect both our gross and fine motor skills. It can mean we struggle with spacial awareness, we tend to bump into things a lot and well, like Peridot - can often fall over. It also covers the basis of fine motor skills such as handwriting etc.
5. Physical Contact
Peridot’s not exactly one for physical contact...now don’t get me wrong, she seems to like a good hug - but unlike the other Gems she tends to avoid touch. Not only that, but it’s been confirmed that she’s aro/ace which means that she’s not exactly one for anything...physical. As someone who is aromantic, her character once again relates heavily to me. She’s a star.
6. Stimming and MELTDOWNS!
Peri is a stimmer! She flaps, claps, spins, jumps, stomps - you name it and she’s doing it. She even did the raptor hands that one time lmao! Autistic people usually use repetitive behaviours like clapping or flapping to help keep themselves calm.
In terms of meltdowns well...Peridot has a habit of spiralling off into a rant and rage. She’s an incredibly angry little bean and the anger usually stems from her frustration of not being able to express her emotions correctly. This sucks and I know exaclty how she feels.
Now, I’m by no means an expert and there’s a load of other things I’ve spotted with Peridot that I relate to and I’m sure others do too, but these were just my observations. If I continued with this, I really would be here all night!
I am just so happy to have someone like Peridot in the media when the only other ‘representation’ we get is characters like Sheldon Cooper *SHUDDERS*. It’s so nice to be able to relate to a character who is accurately depicted and doesn’t make you feel like garbage. She’s a character with amazing development and I’m so glad that Steven Universe shows an autistic coded ‘female’ in such a strong role.
I love you Peridot. Thanks for making me feel seen when everyone else made me believe I was invisible.

Don’t Count On Luck On St. Patrick’s Day!
By Aja Eiden, Villanova University Class of 2023
March 18, 2021
This week is St. Patrick’s Day! A day known for fun, the color green, and lots of foul play. St. Patrick’s Day, alongside its reputation of promoting Americanized Irish culture, is a day commonly associated with heavy drinking. Stemming from the stereotype that Irish people love of drinking and beer, St. Patrick’s Day is one of the top days of the year that people are arrested for various alcohol related violations. Alongside the Fourth of July and New Year’s, St. Patrick’s Day is among the top annual holidays that drunk driving and alcohol related crimes spike.
Along with drinking under the influence of alcohol, other crimes related to the consumption of alcohol are more common on St. Patrick’s Day than other days of the year. Other alcohol related crimes that tend to be more heavily present on St. Patrick’s Day include being intoxicated in public, assaults done while under the influence of alcohol, urinating in public, and underage drinking. For the sake of consistency, this article will be analyzing the penalties related to these various alcohol related crimes as enforced by the state of Pennsylvania. The penalties related to these crimes very from state to state, each state following its own set of regulations.
In the state of Pennsylvania, the penalty for drinking under the influence (a DUI) contains no minimum jail sentence, a three-hundred dollar fine, no minimum license suspension, and the requirement of an ignition if there is a refusal of a chemical test. Compared to other states, Pennsylvania has more lenient penalties for DUIs as seen by the lack of minimum jail sentence and the lack of license suspension. Additionally, Pennsylvania’s fine of three-hundred dollars as a penalty for a DUI is on the lower end of state’s fines for DUIs, other states like California enforcing fines up to $2,600.
Public intoxication is punishable in Pennsylvania with a five-hundred dollar fine; additionally, a fine up to $1,000 can be distributed for subsequent offences for public urination. Urinating in public also results in the reception of a fine in Pennsylvania, many fines costing up to five-hundred dollars with another five-hundred dollars can be added if it is not cleaned up and thrown away in a proper receptacle.
Like is the case with the other forty-nine states in the United States, the legal drinking age in the state of Pennsylvania is twenty-one. Under the age of twenty-one, it is illegal to buy, consume, transport, or possess alcoholic beverages. The punishment for the consumption of alcohol under the age of twenty-one is Pennsylvania is a fine of five-hundred dollars with any subsequent violations being punishable with fines up to $1,000. Additionally, the use of false identification by someone under the age of twenty-one for the purpose of purchasing an alcoholic beverage is illegal and is punishable by law. This crime is also subject to the issue of a five-hundred dollar fine. This offense is separate from that of the purchase, consumption, procession, or transport of alcohol by someone under the age of twenty-one. If false identification is used by someone under the age of twenty-one for the purpose of purchasing alcohol and that person is then found to have purchased, possessed, consumed, or transported alcoholic beverages, they are liable for both sets of penalties.
In conclusion, while St. Patrick’s Day is commonly associated with drinking, it is also a holiday known for alcohol related crimes. This St. Patrick’s Day, make sure to be safe, drink responsibly, and have fun!

Video
[Video Description: A tiktok video by @RyanHDLombard that is titled "Me in my childhood for no reason" and consists of an adult person doing a series of common childhood stimming behaviors, as wii music plays:
1) While sitting at a table, they move a plastic ruler so that it is sticking halfway off the table. With one hand holding it in place, they hit the ruler with the other hand, making it bend and vibrate. They hit it again, but the ruler flings off the table.
2) Holding up a pair of earbuds with the wires clasped together, they pull each earbud away from the other, slowly pulling the wires apart from each other, and naturally moving the clasp downward.
3) Holding an apple by the stem with two fingers, they make it twirl back and forth.
4) Walking outside on a sidewalk, they walk past a plant and pull off a single leaf.
5) Holding a flashlight, turned on and pointed upwards, they repeatedly press their thumb against the light. Then they point the light at their face, only to flinch.
6) They take a sip from a blue plastic cup, only for it to be empty. They turn it upside down and shake it to check, glance around to make sure no one is watching, and then stick the cup over their mouth and make it suction to their face. They make a funny face and bounce their head side to side, only for the cup to un-suction and fall. They attempt to catch the cup, but it bounces out of their hands and goes flying behind them as they spin and attempt and fail to catch it again.
7) They turn off a lightswitch and move through the doorway, only to pause and go back, and click the lightswitch on and off repeatedly.
8) They stick the tips of their fingers one at a time in a small cap-sized container of paint. After a timeskip, they peel green paint off their finger tips, collecting the dried paint, shaped like half-spheres, in their other palm.
9) They manually sharpen a pencil, and the video speeds up as they continue to sharpen it, the wood strips curling and growing longer and longer.
10) They lay on a table, with their head resting on their arm. And with their free hand they hold a retractable pen upside down, clicking the pen against the table. After a few clicks, the pen bounces too high, out of their grip and falls onto the floor. End Description]

Time for S20E15 “Tate Gallery”~
(I’m really getting to episodes that I hardly remember at all now lmao. The only Gaskell eps I’ve really rewatched often are Johnrik-heavy ones.)
Edit 1: Ah, there’s my king Henrik! Too bad he’s literally barely in this episode lmao. Plenty of John though.
Edit 2: I love John’s coat.
Edit 3: I ADORE Roxanna’s blouse. I miss this woman and her very queer fashion sense.
Edit 4: Everybody’s outfits are great in this episode, Sacha’s wearing a fantastic shirt.
Edit 5: John stimming! I really want to know if Paul McGann deliberately based his body language as John off Guy’s as Henrik or not.
Edit 6: In hindsight it’s disturbing to look back at early John episodes. You see all these mannerisms and behaviours that at the time would’ve just signified “oh, he’s mentally ill”. But you watch them again and suddenly you realise that we were supposed to be suspicious of him because of these traits. Yikes.
Edit 7: Oh yeah this is the one with the intersex patient isn’t it?
In other news, I love a good Sacha and Ric scene.
Edit 8: I love the vaguely goth aesthetic John’s patient’s daughter has going on.
Edit 9: Ric on his project idea: I’m not using stem cells. John, probably: :((
Edit 10: 2018 feels like it was the last year Holby even remotely cared about medical storylines.
Edit 11: Love a good ‘ethical dilemma regarding a patient’ ep.
Edit 12: SFSFSFSFSF. Abigail @ John: “Spare me the ‘enigma wrapped in a mystery’ schtick.”
Also, Serena saying “I am all out of ideas here!!”... you could pass this off as actual footage of the Holby writers in the show’s final years XD
Edit 13: I swear Paul McGann was working overtime to make John an actually complex character instead of the “evil sociopathic crazy person” stereotype the writing had him as.
Edit 14: John playing classical music in theatre. Henrik energy.
Edit 15: I want to pay more attention to Ric’s subplot in this episode, but my mind kind of zones out when I see Serena, and most of his scenes in this episode are with her.
Edit 16: “I am not the enemy.” Sorry, Abi, but both the writers and the fandom viewed the mere fact of someone other than Henrik in the CEO chair to be a crime, so. :(
Edit 17: John thanking the patient for having faith in him and Rox is weirdly sweet.
Him being guilt-trippy and manipulative to Rox, not so great. Honestly I am convinced Henrik learned to manipulate people from John. I don’t know if that was the writers’ intent but it explains a lot to me. Like I do think a lot of his behaviour with Sahira was re-enactment of his own trauma (the whole ‘you’re my super special protege’ thing especially) but I also think some of the techniques he used on her were learned from John (there’s one ep where he says to her “in theatre, there’s no outside world, there’s just theatre”. VERY reminiscent of John’s “nothing but the work”).
Edit 18: Aw, this little scene with Ric and his patient :’)
Edit 19: John with his hands literally behind his back. Clever.
Edit 20: John and Rox wandering around in the basement. Lmao.
Edit 21: And now chilling out in John’s lab of mysteries.
Edit 22: I love Frieda.
Edit 23: Oh hey, the intersex patient’s also nonbinary. Anyone know if they were played by a nonbinary actor or not?
Edit 24: John and Ric sharing a scene feels really weird--
Did John just say he has a colleague in Leeds?! Lmfao.
